Alright, there's a concert going on at The (van) Halen. The restaurant will be renovated to a concert hall, Shamino will be doing lead guitars and vocals, a number of songs will be done.
Tickets are $30, casual attire permitted, bar will be open and for a small fee to the bar tender, under aged can be served.
Hotel Rooms will be free, first come, first serve basis. There will be a midnight countdown, great times. Because its a ship, smoking is permitted.
EVERYONE is invited, EVERYONE can come, EVERYONE SHOULD POST.
Discuss here.

Was wondering who would throw the New Years thread.

Sounds really cool for everyone to be able to post on such a great occasion. Reminds me of that XIN episode where all the characters took a break in the festival thing...
But, yeah. Start working on it now. Normally these holiday threads lose "excitement" when the said holiday passes.
Good luck, and I'm sure its gonna be a blast.

I don't know if anyone else is wondering, but I am:
Are you starting this thing off, Shamino, or are you just leaving it for someone to make the big thread first?

I'd go, of course. Might as well start it now, rather than later. Kei's comment about how holiday topics lose steam once said holiday is a done deal.

I love the holidays. They are the best reason to go get drunk and act stupid.

Getting drunk doesn't necessitate a loss of memory. I'm a Scot (yeah, enforce the stereotype), and as such am culturally prone to occasional spats of frequent drinking, but retain pretty clear memory of what I do after virtually every night out. I get drunk, sometimes quite so, but don't go getting Etch-a-Sketched. For those who don't get that analogy, imagine your brain as the aforementioned toy after a boatload of alcohol. Tanya can verify this, as I'm a little hazy on the details, too many narcotics...Now THOSE, well, memory loss is definitely a....uhm, it's..... ... What was I saying?

; ::pulls out a Sharpie and slowly walks towards Liam...:: Not sure if Valencia will show up... She and her friends will like scarfing down food, going crazy at a concert, and being surrounded by luxury in the hotel rooms, but money is money and though the room itself may be free, all those other things like raiding the fridge and other services probably aren't.
