Body: Aden is an average height, taller than some but shorter than others. Strength was never something he worked on his hardest and preferred to have a nice, flexible body full of cardio workouts. Just because he never cared much about strength didn’t mean he never lifted weight. His body was slightly toned from head to toe and muscle could be obviously seen. He worked harder on his legs then the rest of his body but tried his best to keep it equal. His calves and thigh’s were very toned as to help him run and push off when necessary.
His biceps and triceps would get a decent workout as well. He wasn’t bulky, but the muscle was there for everyone to see. The veins could be seen slightly in his arms and legs and can be seen easier if he is ever flexing. His chest or pecks have been toned. His abs had been worked on to form a six-pack and was very firm and strong to the touch.
Aden’s face is shaped rather nicely. He doesn’t have a child like face as he used to years before, but rather has had the bone grow and make his face a new, better looking shape. His cheeks are not as flab-like as they once were and have become tighter. His chin has moved forward giving it a more mature look and feel. His nose is skinny yet long, point upwards slightly. His lips are flat rather than plump and his mouth isn’t very wide.
Complexion: Aden’s skin is tanned. Spending most of his time in the sun he would prefer to have a full tan then just his arms, legs and face. The tan was slightly darker than a pale complexion but not so dark as to be really outstanding.
Cosmetic: Aden prefers to wear T-shirts then the typical long sleeve. His shirts vary in color; however, the majority of them are orange. He prefers to wear blue or black jeans. Preferably wear sneakers of any color, usually white. He has a single dog chain attached to a chain around his neck. Aden wears a green jacket with a puffy collar in the cold. He likes to think of himself as a plain, white sock person. He doesn’t wear clothes that make him particularly stand out but he doesn’t mind wearing something with color, hence the orange shirt. He much prefers the touch of a bare hand then a glove and never wears them unless necessary. Aden likes to buy clothes regularly for a better variety. These could range from colorful shirts to different colored pants or shorts along with other accessories such as watches, or sunglasses.
Aden also has chains attached to most of his jeans. Nothing big or flashy ever really suited him so he prefers to wear little things that are still durable. He enjoys to look slightly unique.
Hair: Aden has a natural hair color of light, dirt brown. His hair is died to give it a blue sheen. His hair goes past his ears and eyes but does not reach his shoulders. Hair is towel dried and is left as such to be left messy. To go with the messy look, he adds a little gel to spike it slightly and give it a distinct feel. The hair moves in the wind and sways with the individual strands and clumps attached by the gel. His hair shines in the sun and shimmers slightly because of the dye.
Habits: Aden is easily addicted to smoking. He stays away from cigarettes out of fear of starting up again. Aden is known to talk in moderate tones without noticing it. He is known to stutter under pressure or when he is nervous. Biting his nails has always been a continuous problem in his life. He was never able to shake that habit and continues it to this very day. Aden likes to make sure his hair is soft as he likes to play with it while jaded.
Other Information
Personality: Aden is usually quiet, but isn’t afraid of being friendly with someone. He’s known to hang with a more violent crowd, rather than the normal good hearted people. It keeps things more interesting. Aden is one to become cloyed, often distasteful with the world he lives in, always looking for something to make it more interesting. Tending to be one to start or enter a conflict, Aden doesn’t have a hard time with his boredom, constantly looking for something to quench his thirst of feeling alive. However, he isn’t one to just go out and look for fights. He stays withdrawn from most.
Aden can be aggressive, especially in a fight. He isn’t afraid of bloodshed. He doesn’t leave a fight and will do what needs to be done in order for him to win. As a very competitive character, Aden will do what needs to be done to win without playing dirty. His concerns are his own and don’t fall on others unless they somehow affect him. (i.e. Annoyance, disgust, etc.) Justice is a large part of his beliefs, fighting for it whenever it comes up. He fights for what he believes to be justice, even if others see differently.
Hobbies: Aden likes to go on walks either by himself or with others. He also enjoys staying at home to read or go out for a cup of coffee. Anything that is quiet and relaxing. Not having obtained a license yet, Aden enjoys golf. He isn’t near the pro level but has taken multiple lessons and continues to play for fun and shoot at a driving range.
Extracurricular: Aden isn’t in any extracurricular activities as of yet, although, he was always interested in swimming and is considering joining such a team.
Important Details
History: Aden was born in San Francisco. His father and mother took him home to their small house in the suburbs. For the first couple years, he was looked over with caution, him being his parent’s first child. But as time went on, his parents began to grasp the feel for child care giving, loving and nurturing him. Life was never really exciting. Although, at such a young age, there wasn’t much he could do anyway.
Aden wasn’t a slow learner. He was walking and learning to speak in no time. He was happy most of the time. There was always the unpleasant occasion here and there to take down one’s spirit, but nothing ever seemed to keep him particularly down. As a toddler, his parents would always be watching him, intimidating at times for someone so small. He was a clean child, always eating without making a mess and never leaving things on the floor when they should have been put away. He was a rule follower and he liked it that way.
As he grew older, school became a necessity. He was never the top of his class, but he tried his hardest, doing the best he could in what was elementary. His father enrolled him into a study of martial arts where he began to learn how to fight. Again, he wasn’t top of his class, but he trained as much as he could and enjoyed it. His mother never approved of him learning how to fight, while his father preferred to think of it as a means of defense.
His parents didn’t matter. It was his life and his past. The main thing that mattered was that Aden enjoyed it, which he did. That was what kept him going. He loved learning the new moves, stances, arts. He started at the age of ten practicing up until the age of eleven. At eleven he was losing his interest. Not able to get to the levels he wanted, he found he had to train harder and harder, making it that much more difficult to keep his interest in. He thought it was meant for fun alone. But striving for what he wanted to achieve helped him learn of the hardships one found in life and at the age of twelve, he was finally past the point he wished to achieve and, again, enjoyed fighting. He never stopped training.
The years flew by for his parents. They didn’t know what hit them. Here was always that saying, “They grow up so fast.” Aden was fifteen and attended his first year of Hircine. The school was different from what he was used to. People were more mature now. Not only that, but people were smarter, stronger, faster and so on. It was a new challenge and Aden was ready for it. He went through his first year. It was long, that was the worst part. The time it took for each class to go by or the time it took in between classes for the next to start. Aden hated waiting and he was soon enough getting sick of high school. Each day went by slowly; each class was always the same. The teachers were always there and they always had something to teach. Aden learned; keeping him occupied for as long as learning could, but even the learning grew tiresome. He often queried as to why he found it so agitating. He would always stare out the window and think of something that truly enjoyed him.
Even the home front was now losing its attractiveness. He had lived in the same house for years and was beginning to get sick of it. Why must he live in the same house everyday for this long? He needed variety or else he believed his mind would burst. It wasn’t fair that life was closing in on him so fast. He needed that flare, the one that could spark motivation in his school and home life once more. Nothing however, nothing he did helped. He studied harder, striving to get his grades up, but all it did was frustrate him; he re-did his room, but it still felt the same. He always wondered if it was possible to have a mid-life crisis that early in his life. Was it just because he was growing up? He was never sure.
His grandfather also lived in the city. His grandmother long dead, the old man was obviously lonely. At one last attempt to give his life flare once more, Aden moved from his parent’s house to his grandfathers. He needed the new space to feel alive once more. The funny thing was that it only partly worked. He started to feel more “into” life once again. It was looking to shape up for him, but something still felt like it was left out.
He found out what was missing. Conflict wasn’t something Aden was accustomed to. He rarely was in any. He was a kind person, people were kind to him, and he believed it to be natural. He only ever received real tastes of conflict through his art. That was when he truly felt alive. It was on one day at Hircine that he truly felt the conflict and that was on his sophomore year at the age of sixteen.
The Varronites were an interesting group. Aden didn’t know anything about them besides why they had shown up at Hircine. But the sparks began to fly on their arrival and when Aden saw it, his heart lit up. He had no grudge against the Varronites, but he truly felt alive once more. The conflict would keep him alive. It is the present now and conflict is what he thirsts for.
Fighting Style: Aden practices the form of Pradal Serey; a type of kick boxing. The style is very similar to that of Muay Thai and is taught around the world. Pradal Serey is founded on four techniques which consist of: blows of the fist, kicks (comprising of kicks from the shin and feet), blows of the elbow, and blows of the knee. The clinch is also used to wear down the opponent. Aden is quicker than he is strong and sends a shower of attacks rather than blunt, powerful ones.
Strengths: Aden is fast and is able to dodge, counter and jab rather than attacking with brute force. With this, he is able to attack faster and get his blows in on the opponent. His speed makes him harder to hit and his style of fighting gives him a variety of ways to attack the opponent making it easier for him to strategize his fight. He prides himself on his speed and uses it to the bets of his advantage whenever he fights.
Weaknesses: Sacrificing strength for speed, Aden finds it harder to land very powerful blows. Instead he attacks quickly with many attacks while leaving his defense open, meaning if the opponent lands a couple hits, he will be left open for a barrage of attacks unless having a chance to counter. In the middle of close-combat, Aden’s attacks, while quick, can make the battle slightly confusing until he backs off to get his senses straight.
