I've come to a realization: this place just isn't for me.
Let's face it. I'm not exactly Hircine material, both for my character and myself in reality. I'm proud of my OOC threads, despite how others seem to think they lack something (no, I am not pointing fingers or complaining), and I'm just flat out tired of Hircine. I've had some good times with you guys, but this just isn't for me anymore.
So I turn in my resignation. I quit.
I've found another board to work on. What is this board? I'd rather not say. Let's just say I enjoy it. If you can find me (unlikely), I'll be surprised.
So sayonara Hircine! My memories of this place aren't all good, but I still want to keep them!

Well, I really wish that you would stay and try to improve, but if you believe that this is the best choice, I'm not stopping you... I know that this isn't the example you might be looking for, but I used to be a horrible RPer when I started up, and I made even worse OOC threads, but as I matured and got better and better, I think I'm pretty good on the board, and can hold off some of the best. (Not beat them of course, but, you get what I mean But seriously, don't leave if you have a doubt about quitting the board.

Oh, it's not JUST that. It's... oh forget it. I'm not going off on one of my famous analytical lectures. I'm just going to say it's in my best interest.
I'm actually an excellent RPer. Just not with this kind of RPing. The board I've found lets my creative juices really flow.
I MIGHT return (with a new character and the such), when I'm ready, but for now, I'm quitting.

See ya, though if you're doubting whether or not you really want to quit it might not be a good idea to do so. You might change your mind. Edit: Also, you make it sound like a job. "You can't fire me, I QUIT!"

It's been a rough ride of your end I'd imagine, but when you feel you're out of place, it's better to either get comfortable or move on to something that fits you. And it sounds like you've done just fine with the latter, so I find no hardship in saying good luck to you with that.
Come back if you wish, but I get the feeling you won't; otherwise, make sure to enjoy this board that works your "creative juices," and keep on moving forward.

Gads... And I was hoping Mr. Withers would follow through with his "kill Victor and distribute his innards to random rich people" plan...
I liked your contribution to the "Harvest Soiree", so it made me think that you're taking things too hard or somesuch to be leaving.
Ah well. So long, farewell, adieu.

Too late now. He'd hate himself if he suddenly came back to post in that thread (assuming it's still going). I mean, I don't think it's enough for him to just leave- he could've just lurked for awhile, read stuff, post a little, relax, etc.
Good luck in what you do. Rather than saying you quit, just say you're leaving for an undisclosed amount of time. See you in six months.

Hmm, Valencia reminded me of that thread. I was having such fun with it.
You are right Kei. I'll think my decision over. I'll be leaving pretty soon, but after what Valencia mentioned, I would like to get Victor out of my memory (I was never very fond of him). Do forgive me for sounding weird, but I would like some closure before I leave...

Heh, c'mon victor, hell I lurk around more than most, I get a good thread once every 4 months if I'm really feeling up to it.
