I've been taking care of my friend for a little while now (he's still here), and he's out with his girlfriend at the moment (he'll be back later). I remembered the thread where we discussed the worst ideas for a XIN product, and I remember the idea for a XIN musical, which in my opinion, would be very successful.
So now my question.
If all the events-both casual and storyline-of Varron and Hircine were made into a series of musical plays on Broadway, would you see them?
For the record, the actors would be required to learn martial arts to a certain degree for the fight scenes (most likely Contemporary Wushu, given it's a combative sport that is also dancelike).

Sweet aborted fetus of Vishnu, no.
I will add, that the only show I would willingly see on Broadway is Avenue Q. Wiki/Google it if you haven't heard of it.

Since I'M the guy who made that worst possible Xin ideas thread my answer is an emphatic NO.
coincidentally, I'm making a musical similar to the concept of Xin, but without the fighting. I'm going to try and get it performed for my senior year at school.

I would NEVER... NEVER see that! Oh my god, that play would suck.
I'm with Macmillan on the Avenue Q thing.
But that's my opinion.

MM, no. The only musical I would ever see would be the Producers. Hell, I'm no expert on musicals so I doubt I could judge tis idea as good or bad, especially since I haven't seen it (because it isn't made.)
Again, producers > all.

Oh, c'mon... is the metrosexual (me ) The only guy who knows anything about musicals? Anyhoo.... I'd rather shoot myself than watch a Hircine or Varron inspired musical... or ask someone else to kill me, either way, it sounds like a horrible theater production. PS. Producers: The Musical is horrible. I'd much rather watch the original movie. You know: The Good Version.

You guys suck. Seriously. I mean, a musical.. I'd be a little "eh" about it. But, a play or show? Yeah.
I'd be all over that. And, I'd imagine it'd be a fun night.

I have to agree there. It would be awesome.

Anyway, other than that, it has nothing to do with Xin.

PS. Producers: The Musical is horrible. I'd much rather watch the original movie. You know: The Good Version. You mean the one before the movie with Nathan Lane and the Nazi pigeons or are you mistaken? Me, call me crazy, but I'd like to see a Varron/Hircine Musical for the sake of comic relief, no matter how bad it'd turn out... Some Possible Songs After a Few "Minor" Adjustments: Tiao Lei Shen ---> Beauty and the Beast's "Gaston" Stern Mason ---> South Park Movie's "La Resistance" Principal MacMillan & Watchers ---> Avenue Q's "Schadenfreude" Vince ---> Aladdin's "One Jump Ahead" Mae-Lim & Conner (Duet!) ---> Corpse Bride's "According to Plan" Seth Calloway ---> Lion King's "Be Prepared" Everyone in Detention ---> The Producers's "Prisoners of Love" Everyone who gets Pummeled by Watchers ---> Spamalot's "He is Not Dead Yet" ::coughs:: As you can see, I'm happy that I'm home from school.

Might be hard to find a rhyme with Tiao Lei Shen. His name is Tiao Lei Shen, He invites girls over to Darren's Den.

I'd see it. Armed with an array of fruit and roses (Hey. Gotta be prepared for a terrible show OR a surprise hit)
Classic songs include: 'Teeth in my pudding', 'You me rooftop now' and everyones favorite, 'That's not a stress ball your squeezing, it's my spleen'.

I think it'd be fun, especially to see some of the fights rendered into musical form, especially while keeping realistic choreographing. It'd probably be unintentionally hilarious though.
