The streets of San Francisco were quite similar to what Audrey grew up with in New York. The attractive faces, walking with all the confidence in the world. The stares from desperate, hormonely-driven, I'm-going-to-undress-you-with-my-eyes kind of stares. The same she ignored while growing up in the City that Never Sleeps.
She made her way down an unfamiliar street, but not only that was unfamiliar to her. The entire city was, since she had never been to this part of the country before.
She held her head high as she continued walking, listening to her I-Pod. Current Song - Devotion and Desire by Bayside. She adored this band and loved them even more since they were all fellow New Yorkers.
Audrey stopped at a corner, glancing up at the street light. It had turned green and she waited impatiently to cross the street.
I don't know where I'm going, or who I'll see, but whatever it is, I can't wait.
As she waited, she could slowly feel her skirt begin to rise. She knew for sure it wasn't the wind since the day had been completely calm. She turned her head around and found that it was a hand. Her eyes quickly darted at the body from which the hand belonged to. Audrey scoffed as it was a young guy around her age. He looked at her and shined a goofy smile towards her way.
Audrey's eyes narrowed and grabbed his wrist, twisting it behind her. The light had now changed back to red, and allowed pedestrians to cross the street. The boy yelled, telling her to let go of him. She turned around, still gripping his wrist tightly. She placed her foot on his chest and forced him down onto the pavement, back first. She kept her foot firmly on his chest as she looked down at him. The onlookers laughed and some stood by and watched, as the traffic on the street was quite busy.
"If you know what's good for you, you won't ever do that again," she spoked with a sweet smile on her face. Which rapidly disappeared as her face became serious and her mouth tight,"Unless you want me to remove your arm and keep it as a trophy."
The boy nodded and Audrey twisted his arm once more for a much harsher warning. He let out a sharp whimper and she finally released her grip. She smiled again as she fixed her skirt and turned to walk across the street.
"Creep," she muttered as she reached the opposite side of the street, hoping the music from her headphones would calm her down.

"Although we have no obligation to stay alive On broken backs we beg for mercy, we will survive (Break out!) I won't be left here Behind closed doors!"
Tiao Lei Shen sped past pedestrians on the sidewalk, practically screaming the lyrics of Behind Closed Doors by his favorite band Rise Against. He ollied on his skateboard, hopping up from the curb. His music was blaring in his own I-pod, and as a result he felt he needed to sing louder. Easily excitable would be one way describe Tiao, especially when it came to things he does himself.
The light turned green and Tiao was caught at a crosswalk. Sighing, Tiao halted to a stop a flipped his board up into his hands, spacing out as he nodded to guitar rips of the song.
Tiao heard a yell off to his left. Turning his head, he watched as the hottest girl he had ever seen grab a boy's arm and twist him to the ground. Tiao slowly unplugged his earphones as he inched himself towards the two. The girl continued to threaten the boy, putting strain on his arm until her point was driven far enough into his brain.
"I think I'm in love..." Tiao whispered to himself, a smile coming onto his face as he watched the girl turn and walk the other direction.
His smile turning into a grin, Tiao walked up to where the boy lay, tapping him on the head with the skateboard. "Ow, what the fu-," The boy stopped himself as he looked up, seeing Tiao scowl down at him. "Tiao! I uh-"
"Shut up." Tiao snapped, shaking his head. "Now while I think getting your ass handed to you by a girl should prove lesson enough for you, let me tell you this. I ever catch you do something like that again and you'll be begging for that massage she gave your arm by the time I'm through with you. Are we clear?"
"Y-yes sir!" the student yelped, hopping to his feet.
"Good." Tiao glared, before briskly jogging up to Audrey's side down the street. "Well hello! That was quite the show you put on there. Say, are you a student at Hircine?" Tiao inquired with a grin on his face, he hadn't seen her around, but its not like he knew the face of every student that went there. His face to the rest of the populace however, was much more noticeable.

Continuing on her aimless wandering, Audrey felt a presence of someone following her. She slowly turned to her head to the right right and saw a young man following her. Her eyes narrowed some in confusion. Removing her headphones from her ears so she could hear him speak.
He seemed to have watched her small encounter with the fellow she had moments ago, from the way he spoke. She put on a friendly smile and replied, "Thanks. Hopefully that gives a warning to any other jerks out there who tries to touch me without my permission." She scoffed angrily while turning her head away as she continued walking, only to be followed by the stranger.
She looked back at him as he asked if she was a student at Hircine. He obviously had not seen her before. That much was obvious since she was new. Coming from New York to a whole different part of the U.S. was a big change for Audrey, and she was still trying to adjust.
"Yeah I do. I'm one those transfer students from Varron. Heard about them?," Audrey asked, with her face returning to a neutral state.

Can I have permission? Tiao thought, but dared not speak it aloud. Of course she wouldn't be able to hurt him, she was just a girl after all, but he didn't want to ruin something that could be good.
The next sentence she said however had completely taken Tiao off guard. He halted his steps and his mouth dropped. "You've got to be kidding, right?" Tiao took two more steps forward, looking her up and down.
"How could something like you, be in league with that Varronite trash? Are you really saying you came with all those losers and punks??" Tiao inquired, a look of disbelief on his face.

Get The Fuck up! DUN DUN DUN Get The Fuck up! DUN DUN DUN
Taj was leaning on the street corner, thinking about what he was going to do today, his huge stereo headphones blasting so everyone could hear what he was listening to. It was then when he noticed a girl kick the crap out of some perv.
[Woah, she's pretty cool, yo, I'm going to go check her out.]
As he was crossing the street he saw a familiar face ollie over and beat him to the woman.
[Well what do you know Tiao has the same taste of women as I do.]
Taj chuckled to himself as he made his way across the street to introduce himself. Tiao definitely had a rep, considering the perv got scared really bad with just a look from Tiao.
"Hey, you kicked that guy's ass pretty good, gave me quite a laugh. Thanks for makin' my day ya know? Name's Taj." Taj introduced himself as he removed his huge stereo headphones from his ears.
"Oh, and hey Tiao." Taj greeted Tiao casually.

Audrey watched as Tiao stopped dead in his tracks. The look on his face was as if he had seen a ghost. She stopped a few steps ahead of him and placed her hands on her hips,"Kidding about what?," she responded to his question. He had seemed a bit more tense than he was before. This confused Audrey. All she had said was that she was a transfer from Varron.
...And that's when it hit her.
He was one of those Hircine jerks who bashed the Varronites. And as more evidence to her knowledge, he blurted out the most typical statement a Hircinian could say. Her lips grew tight as he used the term Varronite trash to describe her fellow ex-classmates. Her eyes narrowed angrily and her hands dropped to her sides, clenching into tight fists.
She exhaled sharply, trying to control herself. She should know better than not to mess with a boy of his size, and not knowing what he is capable of.
"Believe it or not, yes I am one of those pieces of Varronite trash," she said as she walked closer to him, "Are you going to do something about it?," she ended her sentence with a slight smirk on her face, her pale blue eyes staring directly into his.
And without any warning, a new person had joined their little get together. Audrey backed away from the stranger who had yet to introduce himself and stare at the new person.
What is it with these guys? And why are they all flocking to me?
He had also commented on Audrey's brief rumble with the guy from before and thanked her for making his day. Audrey nodded and said, "No problem, Taj."
She then heard Taj speak to the stranger, and call him Tiao. So his name was finally known to Audrey. She still hadn't recognized him, but she knew he must be someone very well-known in Hircine.

(EDIT: Well sooory Tiao lol ) "Believe it or not, yes I am one of those pieces of Varronite trash," she said as she walked closer to him, "Are you going to do something about it?," she ended her sentence with a slight smirk on her face, her pale blue eyes staring directly into his.
"Ouch." Taj said sarcastically with a smirk on his face. He couldn't help it, it was pretty funny, considering Tiao was a pillar, yet Audrey outwitted him so easily. "Shot down yo," Taj said with a laugh behind it. "That just goes to show you man. You may be a pillar at Hircine, but on the streets, your rank doesn't mean shit. Well not to girls like this one at least." Taj said to Tiao pointing at Audrey with his thumb. "By the way, I never got your name, oh and it's cool you go to Hircine. I hope I see you around there some day, hopefully I won't do something stupid and end up like that perv you cooked real bad." [Although Taj hated to admit it, but he liked this girls style. Normally the girls that liked Taj were nothing but pretty shells, only obsessed with the fact that Taj was a "cutie" But not this one oh now, she had witt. And witt was something Taj adored.]

(OOC: Made an edit since Taj broke posting order ) How could this one be Varronian? She was so...hot! The way she took the guy down certainly had made sense to Tiao now, but she was perfect! Audrey turned around and stomped towards Tiao, a scowl on her face. She became very defensive of Varron, but that was understandable. Animals were always defended their territory, and that city raised nothing but beasts. Too bad this one had come with all of them. "Well I'd certainly like to do something." Tiao smirked, as he took a step towards Audrey, a seducing look staring into her eyes. "But hey, we can't all choose where were from. I'm sure I can make an exception. You're from Varron, you can't help that. It seems even crap holes like that city can produce a diamond." As Tiao drew his sentence to a close, he took another step forward, his face just inches away from Audrey's. He glanced at her lips, wanting to steal a kiss, but he didn't. Another voice poked up from behind him, and Tiao glanced over his shoulder and nodded "Taj." He stated plainly. Everyone knew him too, he was the party kid. In fact, Taj was planning on throwing a party this weekend. Tiao gave Taj a shrug and a smile, as if to say "Me? Get shut down? Yeah right." Tiao looked back towards Audrey, looking into her eyes once more. "I assume the pretty face has a pretty name?"

(OOC: Going back to the original order. Me, then Tiao then Raj. Thanks. ;D)
Audrey eyes rolled when Tiao had made a blatantly perverse statement. He slowly stepped torwards her, his eyes staring seducingly into hers. She wanted to look away but she couldn't help but stare right back.
She instantly lost that feeling of overwhelming goodness when he again spoke badly of Varron,"You must think you're pretty cool. Talking about us Varronites without a gang of us surrounding you. Bet you would think twice when we're all gathered in a small room with you standing there all alone."
She glanced over at Taj and smirked some. She had indeed shot down Tiao, despite his lame attempts of swooning Audrey, "I'm Audrey. And I really don't look forward into running into you anytime soon, Mr. Taj. I'm not here for you to flirt with, so just stay out of my way, alright?" She smiled ending her statement, then turning back to Tiao, "Same goes for you," she told him, shoving him slightly with a smirk on her face.

"So what you're saying is: I should only talk trash to people when they completely outnumber me and plan for a gangbeat? I guess thats the Varronian logic talking." Tiao shook his head, a wry grin creeping back out onto his face.
Audrey looked towards Taj, giving him a sheepish smile and telling him off. Right when Tiao had something else to say Audrey turned and pushed him a little, warning him as well.
I love this girl.
"You're much more than something to flirt with Audrey, thats for sure. But it seems you have trouble keeping your hands off me. But don't worry, thats a problem that doesn't need much solving." Tiao stepped closer again, looking back into her eyes resisting the urge to kiss her again. "Don't you agree...?" Tiao whispered into her ear softly so only she could hear.

[You have got to be kidding, I didn't say a word, and I still get shot down. This girl, she's something else. Just my type.]
Taj turned is hand into a gun and pointed it at his head.
"Boom. Shot down." Taj said jokingly.
"Pif not like I was gonna hit on you anyways." Taj said looking away from her, clearly lying.
Then out of nowhere this Tiao continues to flirt with her. It's as if he immune to shots or something.
[Damn Tiao, thinks he's so cool.]
"Heh. I'm suprised Audrey you can resist. This well cut face. This perfect smile, and this oh so sexy body." Taj said as he lifted up his shirt showing a well cut six pack.
"Oh yeah, I can stare sexy-like to.." Taj said giving her a seducing stare.
[Hey it worked for Tiao, why won't it work for me. I'm good looking, who knows. Although I doubt this chick is about looks, which is why im into her anyways.]

The mystical energies that brought two people together after entering a new city were hard at work. It had been more then a few months since Odin had first meet and talked to Audrey, and yet both were transferred for San Francisco after the closure of Varron. Such a coincidence is just what two people need in order to spark up some interest and rekindle a once developing friendship.
Heading down the street after purchasing a bottle of water from the corner store Odin was on a direct path toward the three teenagers conversing on the sidewalk. One of the two males present seemed familiar due to a recent meeting, the other just seemed like an immature kid who thought to highly of himself. The third person was rather unknown, seeing as her back was towards the new Hircine High student. Yet as Odin drew closer his memory began to spark, as his eyes lay content on the soft dirty-blonde hair. As his steps continued to bring him closer he began to catch little tidbits of their ‘conversation’, the females voice finally lifting the final floodgate of Odin’s dormant mind. ‘It’s Audrey.’
Drawing closer his head tilted to the side. He watched, as the shorter male kept moving in to Audrey’s personal space, forcing her to tolerate him for the time being. Odin had a short fuse for those who beat on women, and while this wasn’t to that level, a form of verbal harassment had an equally short length. As he finally reached the edge of their circle, making it so that he could be seen by all but Audrey, he spoke up, letting the group hear him without so much as a question to what he said.
“Your unused brain.” Odin’s comment came dead center after the boy’s description of himself, and as he raised his shirt Odin’s palm pressed against his chest giving him a soft shove. Now that he had made some room in the circle, cutting the attention away from the jokester who’d now be staring at Odin’s back, he gave a soft smile as he stared down toward Audrey.
“I thought we were going to meet up down the street…” He said trailing off as though they had pre-arranged meeting up. Hopefully she’d catch on quick enough for things not to seem so suspicious, giving them time to catch up as well as giving her a reasonable scapegoat for ditching the two Hircians.

OOC: Computer died, but works now.
Audrey rolled her eyes as Tiao replied with what he would consider a "witty remark". She then stared him down as he again insulted her fellow Varronites.
"No, I'm just saying that you under-estimate us too much. You better watch what you say," she replied. She didn't care much if it sounded like she was threatening. She was already at the point that she wanted to hurt him, but she refused.
And just when she thought that, she heard him tell her that she couldn't seem to keep her hands off of him. She scoffed at him, while crossing her arms in front of her chest. Her lips began to pout with her eyes remaining with a cold hard stare directed at Tiao.
He began to move closer to her, and she refused to move. If she were to move, he would think that she was afraid of him. And that certainly was not true.
He whispered in her ear and for a moment, her eyes closed. She exhaled sharply and turned away from him, her arms still crossed in front of her chest, "Calm your hormones, Tiao. You're not my type."
Her eyes glanced over at Taj, who now noticed that she had rejected him. A confident smirk appeared on her face as he told her that he wouldn't hit on her as Tiao had tried to many times.
"Well that's a good thing, cause I probably would have--," but before she could finish, Taj tried desperately to show off. He raised his shirt showing his stomach. Although well toned, Audrey bit down on her lower lip. Not being able to control it anymore, she let out a burst of laughter.
She waved her hands in front of her as she tried to catch her breath and looked back at Taj, "I'm sorry. But I'm not into guys who would probably screw themselves if they had the chance."
Audrey heard a new voice enter the conversation. The voice was of someone's she had heard before, but it was slowly fading from her memory. She looked at the figure that shoved Taj away and turned back to Audrey.
A widening grin began to form on Audrey's face as she instantly recognized who he was.
Odin.., she had spoken internally.
He told her that they had previously meant to meet up the street. At first, her face distorted in confusion. Then realizing that he was trying to get her away from the jerks who had been harassing her for far too long.
She nodded and slapped her head lightly, "Silly me. I must've forgotten," she smiled and walked up to Odin. She reached out and hugged him for two reasons. For attempting to save her and just being a great friend.

Tiao felt the warmth from closeness of his and Audrey's body. He inahled, taking in the aroma of her skin and hair. After a moment, she exhaled and turned away as she turned Tiao down once more. A calm smile came to Tiao's face as he nodded slightly.
She's not interested, but thats good. If she fell for me it would only mean shes shallow and easy. If something is easy, its not worth doing...
Turning his head to the right, Tiao watched as Taj made an ass of himself, rasing his shirt in a manner the pleaded "Sleep with me because I can do a sit up."
At Audrey's comment, Tiao also burst into laughter at the combination of Taj's efforts and Audrey's well placed rebuke. Tiao's laughing slowed to stop when Odin arrived, watching as he and Audrey became rather comfortable.
So they are together huh? I guess that Varron fighter is one up on me now.
"Well Audrey, Taj...Patches. It was nice we could come together and talk despite our different ethnic backgrounds." Tiao was obviously being sarcastic, glancing at Audrey but keeping his gaze on the one he called Patches, Odin. On the day of the transfer the two had began to fight, only to be cut off by Darren.
"Some other time." Tiao stated plainly, glaring at Odin before dropping his board and continuing down the sidewalk. He'd finish his business with both Varronites another time.
I wonder which one I'm looking forward to more...

She waved her hands in front of her as she tried to catch her breath and looked back at Taj, "I'm sorry. But I'm not into guys who would probably screw themselves if they had the chance."
Taj couldn't help but to chuckle. He had to admit it was funny.
"I'm guessing your implying that I'm conceited. Well, is it wrong to admire something that you work hard for? I mean, I like my body, but it's not like I would make out with myself. But honestly, I'm gonna stop. Judging by your actions there are only two logical explanations. A. You have a boyfriend, or B. Your just not interested."
Taj shrugged. He tried and failed, was there really a point to further make an ass of himself? Not really.
Tiao also burst into laughter at the combination of Taj's efforts and Audrey's well placed rebuke. Tiao's laughing slowed to stop when Odin arrived, watching as he and Audrey became rather comfortable.
"Tch, and what are you laughing at Shen, your just as cocky about your physique as I am. Not to mention more cocky when it comes with the women.
It was at that moment that a familar varronite made his entrance, apparantly knowing Audrey.
"Yo, I vaguely remember you, You that varronite that got cooked real bad by Tiao. If I were you I'd settle it right here, right now, considering he doesn't have his lil' underlings to assist him." Taj said casually.
It was at that moment when Tiao decided to make his leave.
Yawning, Taj decided to make his leave as well. " Well, now that Tiao is leaving I feel outta place, too many varron heads ya know? Later Hot chick, later Patches or whatever." Taj said casually to both of them as he put back on his huge stereo headphones, and began to walk away.

Odin leant forward, bending his knees a bit as he lowered himself to return Audrey’s hug. It seemed like his simple plan had worked because of Audrey’s understanding, and thus she could continue with her day without the harassment of some Hircine students. Breaking the hug after a few seconds he turned around and stood beside Audrey, as though telling the two Hircine High students to step aside through his body language. Whether it was due to physical intimidation, or the uncomfortable situation he had instigated, the two seemed to grow weary of hanging around.
Tiao’s blunt state of: “Some other time.” by a simple nod and glare. Such could be expected between the two after such an abrupt stop during their first ‘encounter’, but Odin knew that at any time they’re ‘differences’ could be settled. All either needed to do was find the other and things could begin.
The other student however, the one who seemed to be more of a poser, let his fear come into play and be overthrown by ego. Given the students apparent retardation Odin didn’t even bother to give him a nod good-bye, just made a mental note. ‘It’ll be fun taking him out. After all, I am supposed to beat-down from hircine students for being ‘bullies’. What’s a claim of one more in there?’
Smiling softly, mostly toward his own imagination, the rest a result of the other two students leaving, he turned back to Audrey. “So, long time no see. Care to catch-up a bit? I think there’s a peaceful café somewhere down the road.”

( OOC | Sorry for not replying, but I am now! ) Seeing Odin was the last person she expected to run into at Hircine High. She thought the last memory she would have of him was when they were still in Varron, hanging out on the roof or lounging out in front of the school. It was a blast from the past and Audrey's face expressed sheer happiness. To Audrey, Odin felt somewhat like a brother. The way he presented himself in her previous encounter, it was something that a sibling would do if the other was in trouble. It's not as if Audrey couldn't handle those two on her own, but she was getting to the point that she wanted to hurt them and not care what would happen to her. But she let that evil thought go once Odin came into the picture. Consider yourself lucky, punks.., Audrey scoffed as she looked at the two Hircine natives walk away from the two of them. Audrey turned her attention back to Odin, that same cheerful smile on her face as she listened to him speak. He mentioned a cafe not too far from where they were. Somewhere where they could sit down and chat, catch up on things. It seemed like the best thing to do since they haven't spoken to each other in so long. "That sounds great to me," she pushed aside some hair from her face and shrugged some,"Well lead the way, Mister Reeves."

“Don’t mind if I do.” Odin’s smug remark was friendly and casual, spoken out as he wrapped his arm around Audrey’s shoulders and pulled her into a hug from the side. It was simply a softhearted, goofy hug that someone would give to those they considered close, or in terms of a relative. Dropping his arm back down to his side he let it slip casually into his front jean pocket, just as his other hand was, and started on his way, assuming Audrey was following beside him in tow.
“So what brings you across country?” His head had cocked to the side as he asked the most basic of questions given their situation. “Don’t tell me your part of the Varron transfers who are ‘to rough to handle’.” Odin’s use of air quotes and a sarcastic, reporter type voice, relayed the headlines of nation-wide papers and television broadcasts, showing his distaste for the media circuit by making fun of it.
As he waited for Audrey’s answer, or listened to her explanation, he extended his arm and pressed his palm flat against the edge of the door, pushing the swinging object open to grant them access to the friendly atmosphere café. He stayed there, holding the door open, as he waited for her to enter, always the gentlemen when it came to ladies.

Walking along with Odin, she felt his arm around her shoulders gently tugging her to his side. She laughed as this was one of those friendly walking hugs, and she was caught completely off guard. As he released her, her hands went above her head as she stretched slightly as they continued walking. While doing this, he asked her of why she was now at Hircine seeing as how the Varron transfers were students that could not be controlled in New York.
She let out a small half laugh,"Oh yes, Odin. I'm dangerous," she lowered her hands to her sides and looked over at Odin,"You should be on your guard at all times." It was funny how some people in this city actually thought that the Varronites were really so bad. Like they were all a plague, wanting to introduce chaos and destruction into their lives.
Looking away from Odin, she tugged at the ends of her skirt. She still felt like that jerk she had run into before was trying to sneak another peak. Moving completely across the country and still encountering the same jack-offs was something that Audrey hated the most. Luckily, Odin was never the type of person who wanted to take advantage of her. She appreciated his respect towards her and most of all, his friendship.
Finally making their way to the cafe, Odin swung open the door and remained there; holding it for Audrey. She curtsied and giggled some as she made her way inside. Once inside Audrey was greeted by a waitress, who would lead them to a small table in the back of the cafe. As she sat down, her eyes glanced around the cafe. It seemed that not many people were there, but it was fine with Audrey.
As soon as Odin would take his seat, Audrey would look to him and ask,"Smashed any faces since you've been here, Odin?"

Bringing his free arm up Odin brushed his hair back as he held in a laugh regarding Audrey’s bow. It was humorous, and completely lady like, if they were back a few centuries. Following in behind her nodded softly to the waitress, just a sign to say hello as he followed both ladies to the back of the café. Taking the seat opposite of Audrey he sat and smiled politely, all while trying to get use to the cushioning of his seat.
His attempts to find the sweet spot however were pushed aside, as Audrey’s rather abrupt question brought a semi-puzzled look to his face. “No… Not to my knowledge…” Odin’s voice trailed off as he raised an eyebrow to Audrey, trying to figure out just what she was saying. He figured there was an alternative motive to what she was saying, but perhaps he was just paranoid.
“Why exactly, would you ask me that?” He thought perhaps this could be a conversation starter, or a reference back to the tension between him and the skater. It was true he had gotten into a bit of a scuffle with the smaller man, but things ended far to abruptly for anyone to be determined as ‘winning’. That was the fault of the School Captain, a man who needed taking care of.
Directing his semi-conscious thoughts away from past events he focused primarily on Audrey’s answer. Nothing else was worth his interest at the moment, except of course the reflection of the front door off of a glass covered painting behind Audrey. Perhaps he was a bit too paranoid, or just had an active imagination.
