The confused look on Odin's face made Audrey cover her mouth, as she tried to hold back her laughter. Letting out a chuckle, she lowered her hands and her head. The smile still on her face as she raised her head once again to look at him,"It's called a joke, Odin," she pushed aside some of her bangs with her left index finger as she her face glowed a faint reddish color from how much laughter she was holding back,"Loosen up, buddy."
She found it hilarious how he could have taken her seriously. It seemed that Odin was the serious type and Audrey could be compared to him as the 'free spirit'. Her legs crossed at the ankles while she leaned her right elbow onto the table, while laying her head atop of her hand,"Or maybe I should just keep my mouth shut and just sit here."
Her eyes glanced over at the waitress, who was a table away from them. Sitting up straight, Audrey tried to catch the waitress attention by calling out the usual:
Miss... um, Miss?
But to Audrey's despair, the woman did not even look at her. She sighed and looked down at the table, drawing invisibles circles with her right index finger. She felt that she might have caused some slight tension between Odin and herself because of her previous statement. She did not think that he would take her comment so seriously, not everyone shares the same sense of humor as she does.
Well no one's perfect..........
