CRACK
A small split formed from the heel of Tai Yang’s right boot as he slammed the steel-toe down on the table while leaning back in his chair. Crossing his other leg over top he rocked back and forth with two of the four chair legs on the ground, one hand brushing through his hair while the other held a tanned folder stuffed full of papers.
‘Well, well. My minions have been a busy bunch. I’m glad they know how to follow my orders through fear and loyalty.’
Pushing off the table he rocked the chair back even further, balancing it out by leaning forward as he slammed both boots square on the floor. No one ‘shushed’ him, only terrified eyes looked up before adverting their gaze. People were afraid of him, and rightfully so after his numerous public displays. Just imagine how fearful they’d become if they found out he had done time for assault and battery. Those rumours would have to wait for another day though, as they’d eventually be leaked out anyways. But for the here and now he was more interested in what was contained in the file then those meaningless, spineless cowards around him. Bookworms are pathetic. Slapping the folder down he flipped it open, leaning over the first page as his eyes glanced from left to right, reading over the fine details and leaving out everything else.
‘Jacob Ryrie, 19, repeating his senior year. Six foot four, two hundred eight-seven pounds. Strong body, weak mind.’
‘Tsk, no need for a powerhouse, already got O’Grady for that, and he has brains to boot. Next.’
Flipping over the page he completely disregarded his schools linemen and teammate, casually looking over page after page of gathered info on student of Paragon Institute. Ten minutes passed, and still no interest was shown, twenty passed and the only thing shown was his irritation. Once the thirty-minute mark hit he was about to give up and go and ‘assert’ his dominance, while also partaking on part of his deal with Arlen, and that’s when he read another sheet.
‘Aden Allett, Senior. Six foot one, 180lbs. Fast, though strength is unknown. Practices some type of Kickboxing. Personality under review… Rough Draft: Silent, withdrawn, hangs out with known aggressive’s. Possibly high beliefs in own views of Justice… Blah Blah Blah.’
‘This one’s interesting. Aden Allett… Lets go find this guy, time for a talk.’
Taking Aden’s page out from the folder he closed the file and stood up, pulling his shades from his right pant pocket and slipping them over his eyes. Picking up the folder with one hand, the sheet with the other he headed toward the exit, handing the folder to follower whom had remained at the door the entire time he had been seated. Stepping around the corner he looked at a photo that the researcher had taken of Allett, making note of his appearance for easier recognition.
‘Hm, a Jap with green eyes, a bit weird, but not unheard of I guess… Least it matches his hair. Heh.’
Brushing back his own dyed and styled hair he turned a corner, spotting his target half way down the hallway at a locker, which only made sense seeing as class wasn’t currently in session. Picking up his pace he rushed down the hall, pushing those who failed to move fast enough out of his way as he closed the gap.
“Aden Allett? I’d like to have a word with you, if you wouldn’t mind.”
