Arlen had to hand it to Tai Yang, the Captain kept his word, and that word got around fast. People in the halls showed the big man a bit more respect these days. Especially since Tai Yang had been named the Captain. Arlen had learned through the grape vine that he was now a Pillar along with another student Aden. Arlen made a mental note of the name...he was curious to find out just who this Aden was, and what his plans were now he had secured the title Pillar.
Arlen himself hadn't a clue what he was going to do, he knew it was about time he started paying Tai Yang back. He had offered the Captain his support and now he was slowly mulling over ways in wich he could cement his posistion as a Pillar whilst also solidifying Tai's posistion as Captain. A good old fassioned beat down seemed a good way to go, but he found most people weren't too keen on bothering him these days. And the halls for once seemed remarkably quiet.
Then it happened.
"FIGHT."
Arlen smiled, he'd been avoiding fights recently and now one had walked into his lap just when he needed it. He looked to his left and noticed a group of students flailing like mad cats in a bag. They couldn't fight worth a shit, but what they lacked in technique they seemed to make up with fervor and with numbers. On first glance it looked like two groups of atleast three or four students were going at it. Arlen knew it would be too much of a hassle to simply wade in and crush six or eight students. That would be reckless and there would be a high chance of getting blind sided and he didn't want that. What good would it be if the students of Paragon witnessed the felling of a giant by a bunch of rag tags.
Arlen pondered his course of action. Students who were standing closer to him clearly expected the big man to react. He eyed them and gave a slow grin. He'd made up his mind. Whilst mulling his thoughts over he noticed the lockers in this school were free standing and could be picked up by anyone strong enough to do so. It just so happened Arlen was easily strong enough, and so he walked toward the closest locker and easily hauled it above his head. Then with a roar he launched the 6ft metal locker at the group. Before they could react he had already picked up another and had hurled that one after it with equal force.
The fighting students wouldn't be expecting a locker to come flying through the air at them. And due to their minds being hell bent of beating the hell out of the person right infront of them, there would be a high chance that they wouldn't see the two lockers unitl it was far too late. Arlen smiled, dusting his hands off as the two lockers slammed into the fighting group. four of the six fighters were flawed instantly by the two lockers, the other two were sent sprawling backwards as they had been lucky enough to see the oncoming lockers. Arlen was pleased to see that the two who had jumpd out of the way were the only two who were able to stand back up...and they did so very slowly with their eyes locked on Arlen, shock and awe clearly evident on their stunned features.
"You boys done? Or should we keep playing dodge the big fucking metal things?"
Arlen wasn't usually so outwardly agressive, but he knew the students in this school would react to nothing else. He had to let them know that he was the Alpha male in this little gathering and so far his highland game antics with the lockers had proven to be the ideal exclamation marks. He was inwardly pleased to see the two students take a step back as Arlen casually rested his left hand on a nearby locker. 'That's right boys. Lets not play silly buggers.' he smiled inwardly at his thoughts, but on the outside his eyes were cold and his features were harsh.
"Incase you were wondering just who the fuck I am. You can call me Arlen...your new Pillar and enforcer for Tai Yang. You boys want to even the numbers out a bit I got the guy on speed dial and I just know the Captain's itching to fight anyone up for it. You keep up this charade and I'm going to treat it as an uprising. You boys vying for the Captainship eh? If you are...you just keep on keeping on and we'll see where it gets you."

Yes, quite the sight. As he had only turned the corner, Aden had heard the ongoing brawl. Violence all through Paragon, constant fighting and brawls left Aden without notice. People were used to these things by now, oh yes. His eyes shot to attention however, taken aback by the sound of metal as it was ripped from the wall. He glared at the site, standing still as the big, bad bystander was a bystander no longer; tossing along the locker at great first followed with yet another. Instantly, the brawl was dead.
The big man in front of him went on with the students, threatening to throw yet another locker should they not stop. Quote the style, if Aden did say so, eyeing the man as he placed his hand on yet another locker.
Aden’s brows raised in surprise as the man introduced himself to the small group. Arlen huh? Why was that familiar? Aden’s curiosity was soon brought to an abrupt end, however. The second Pillar was standing right in front of him. The man he had yet to meet. So this was Aden’s ally, if you would call it that. He wasn’t sure how Arlen would treat him even with the title. He gave a cheeky grin as Arlen threatened to call Tai over. There was no entertainment in that, yet it did strike fear in the group, which was amusing to a point.
“Leaving everything up to Tai is no fun at all.”
Aden mentioned, striding to the side of Arlen from the back. Glancing around the scene, he was left dumbfounded. So Mr. O’ Grady was a strong man; strong enough to tear out a locker and throw it at unsuspecting students. Four students already taken down and two more looking in awe, dumbfounded. It was easy to admit, Aden had been surprised too. This was a first for him. The groans of the four sprawled out on the ground could be heard. As if the impact of two lockers wasn’t enough, having them on top of you couldn’t have been enjoyable either. Disregarding the scene for the moment, his attention turned over to Arlen.
“So you’re the other Pillar then? Well it must be my lucky day. I’ve wanted to see who my partner was for a while. Name’s Aden Allett if you haven’t heard it through the halls already...oh, hold on.”
Remembering the reason Aden was even in the area, he jogged forward to one of the lockers on top of the men, the only two up still giving a dazed look. Fiddling with the lock he unlatched it, removing it and opening the door. Shoving his hand in, he pulled out a regular paper bag. “Lucky I don’t keep much in here.” He mumbled with a frown, throwing the lunch in the bag slung around his shoulder before turning and striding back over to Arlen.
“I like what you did over there and everything, but maybe not throw my locker next time.”

“Leaving everything up to Tai is no fun at all.”
Arlen had been staring at the two standing youths with an expression that suggested he could barely tolerate their presence. However this expression shifted to one of curiosity as his gaze travelled to the owner of the voice that had bravely broken the silent stand off. Out of instinct Arlens gaze lowered and he caught site of the smaller, but my no means small student who had strided with confidence to his side. Arlen offered little to no reaction, he merely raised his left eyebrow to accentuate the quizical look.
“So you’re the other Pillar then? Well it must be my lucky day. I’ve wanted to see who my partner was for a while. Name’s Aden Allett if you haven’t heard it through the halls already...oh, hold on.”
Aden. Arlen nodded his head slowly, he had indeed heard the young mans name mentioned and was quite pleased that he could put a name to the face. He had made a point of learning the power players in this school and another had just fallen into place. Before he could offer any sort of reply Aden seemed to have remembered something, and broke off in a jog toward the two thrown lockers. 'Don't tell me I threw his locker.' Indeed he had, Arlen gave a brief shake of his head signifying the disbelief at his luck. These thoughts were soon forgotten though as Aden spoke up again.
“I like what you did over there and everything, but maybe not throw my locker next time.”
Arlen gave a slow shrug of his shoulders and raised his left hand to the back of his head. Scratching his close shaven hair, making a rough grating sound. He offered an appologetic smile to his fellow pillar and lowered the hand that had been scratching his head.
"It's good to meet ya Aden. I'm Arlen...as I'm sure you've guessed. As for the locker, I'm sorry about that. Needs must and it was the closest thing to hand."
Arlen stopped speaking for a moment and glanced at the two students still stood their staring at him, he had to stifle a laugh as he realised these two students were actually waiting for him to tell them what to do. Fighting the urge to tell to beat the shit out of each other in punishment he simply barked a few curt orders to them.
"Stop Fucken staring at me and clean this mess up. Blood and all."
He looked back down to Aden and offered a genuinely warm smile.
"So Aden, got any plans. It'd be good to get to know the people I'll be working with and I've got some time to kill."

Aden watched as Arlen gave a shrug with an apologetic grin. Aden didn’t find it such a big deal, really. He kept little in the locker and there were others free. What mattered was that his lunch was in edible condition, which happened to be the case, lucky enough. Arlen went on to greet Aden, introducing himself vaguely, as it was already known who the big man was. Even Aden, a tall man compared to some had to look up at Arlen. The man was ridiculously tall, standing at what had to be at least six feet, ten inches, maybe more. It was no wonder the man could rip a locker form the wall. It was good to see he wasn’t on the bad side of the man.
Arlen’s speech halted as his gaze went back over to the other two boys, waiting to be told what to do. Aden turned himself, facing them as well, as Arlen began shouting over to them, ordering the men to clean up the mess, including the rather sticky mess of blood Arlen had caused. The boys, shivering slightly due to the fear, went to work, hauling the lockers off their fallen schoolmates before dragging them out of the way. How they were going to clean up the blood was unknown to Aden. Grabbing a mop from the janitor’s closet was the best bet.
Arlen went on to address Aden, staring down at him from his abnormal height, inquiring into Aden’s plans for the day. His classes were finished for a while, the other he could easily skip. Truth be told, he had no real plans. Shovel down his lunch and wing it was a usual concept for Aden. Now, as a Pillar, Aden was receiving more attention from some of the masses. A greeting here and a scared look there from people he didn’t even know. What was keeping him busy were the ones trying to fight the pillars. Kids who tried to pick fights with him only to be left on the ground, in minor pain if Aden was in a cheery mood.
“I’ve got nothing to do, Mr. O’Grady. If you have suggestions, I’d love to hear them, since you want to get to know the other Pillar.”
Aden’s finger interlocked with each hand as he pushed forward, a crack from each. The day still had a fair while to go.
“So, where to?”

“I’ve got nothing to do, Mr. O’Grady. If you have suggestions, I’d love to hear them, since you want to get to know the other Pillar.”
Arlen offered a pleased grin. As the smile settled his features became poker like. The slightest furrow of the brow suggesting that he was giving some thought to Aden's word. After all he had asked if Aden was free without actually having anything in mind, half expecting the other pillar to have plans for the rest of the day. Arlen who actually had the rest of the day free started to mull over his own plans. He was going to do one of a few things. First on his list was grabbing a coffee and some lunch, next was a session at the gym...the rest of the day was quite simply walking around the streets of San Fran.
"I had a few things on my mind. We can grab so lunch, hit the gym...or take a stroll. Hell we could even take up some Pillar duties and hunt down some of the more well known trouble makers and make our mark on the student body. I'm easy to tell you the truth."
Arlen's massive hands slipped into the pockets of his loose fitting torn jeans. After speaking he looked toward the two students who were doing as they were told, between them both they were struggling with one of the two lockers that Arlen had thrown at the crowd. It seemed that their friends under the lockers were slowly coming around, this was given away by the pained groans coming from under the two lockers. Arlen would have smiled if he wasn't trying to maintain his icy facade. The students who were once fighting were now working together. Arlen knew that this experience might even bring them together. After all they had a common enemy now to unite against and Arlen really didn't mind being 'that' guy.

Aden listened to the large man in front of him as he offered a variety of activities to perform. Lunch, gym, walk, Pillar duties. The walk and gym were a little awkward sounding for his tastes, personally, but he was hungry, leaving lunch to seem like a great idea, remembering the food in his backpack with a watery mouth. Pillar duties were something else that intrigued him. He hadn’t really done much as a pillar yet, besides the occasional fight that was forced onto him. It would be nice to go looking for some trouble rather than running into it for once. Yes, both of those seemed like a good idea. Eat then fight. Oh, in the perfect world, everyday would be like this.
“I’m not one fore the gym and walking scene, unfortunately. But if you wanna go get a quick bite to eat in the cafeteria and then start looking around for a fight, I’m up for that, no problem.”
Yes, Aden was getting excited. One of the perks of being a pillar was that the amount of action you saw grew exponentially. People respected, feared, or detested you. Those who respected you stayed out of your way, same with those who feared you and you found you were defending yourself much more against the people who didn’t have a kind eye towards you. But it kept Aden entertained, and that’s what he cared about. The school was a battlefield and war was constant action. That’s what Aden enjoyed; the constant battle until everyone was finished, and that day wouldn’t rear its head any time soon, oh no, there was plenty of action to go around.
Looking over at the brawlers with a grin, Aden gave a small snicker in their direction. How ironic. Arlen’s rough and tough attitude, instead of causing more violence was forcing enemies to work together. How droll. They’d have to do something about that. Respect was one thing, stopping all the fun was another.
“So Arlen, should we head out then?”

Tiao Lei Shen was having a bad day.
That is to say, none of his days have been exceptionally well as of late, but today's forcast held even more aggression than usual. With everyday that passed with no more leads on where to find Keith, Tiao's bouts of violence increased. He didn't know how much longer he could wait. If he didn't find Keith soon, it wouldn't be long before Tiao stormed directly into Hircine High, taking out all former classmates to find the one.
Tiao hadn't been present for any of Tai Yang's boasts or fights, save for the first day at opening assembly. Still, word had gotten around to him about his apparent Captainship, and the appointment of two new pillars. People began to gather around Tiao as well. 'Shen, when are you going to take out Tai Yang? I got your back, you and me all the way. We can run this school.' All the wannabe pillars would find themselves bloodied after so much annoyance. Tiao had little care about this school, and had no intention of giving piggy back rides up the hiearchy.
Turning the corner, Tiao wouldn't be pleased to find the hallway in utter chaos. Lockers were sprawled about the ground, as well as bodies beginning to get to their feet. Stopping for the moment, Tiao's head would rise up further down the hallway, spotting the two new pillars. A moment later Tiao would begin walking forward again, passing the students rising to their feet. When one rose up with his back to Tiao, plotting the destruction of the pillars with the others, Tiao continued moving, his right hand going to the left side of the boys face and shoving his head to the side into some lockers that remained standing, pushing him out of his way as he ignored the rest and kept moving.
Tiao Lei Shen would move in a direct line, not straying at all from his path. This route would lead him directly into the path of Arlen and Aden, who walked side by side. Paying no attention them at first as they headed for an oncoming collision, Tiao would walk directly between the two, bumping shoulders with both men as he squeezed between them. A few steps later Tiao would make a half turn to his right, turning his head to the side as he spoke.
"This is how you try and create order in a place of chaos? You and your pimp Yang are pathetic."

“So Arlen, should we head out then?”
Arlen nodded his head slowly. 'Food and a fight, so be it. his face was grim and determined. Ajax had spoken about the fights in Varron and how the school seemed to have an abundance of violent individuals, with a fair few of them being extremely talented when it came to combat. Arlen had been quiet for a long time in Hircine, keeping out of trouble and spending all his time in the gym either lifting weights or sparring with a select group of friends. Then in a shock move he had found out he was being transfered to Paragon. Being the insular type he wasn't sure what Paragon had in store for him...now he was starting to think being placed in this school was some sort of sick joke. This place thrived on violence, Arlen knew he wasn't going to be able to avoid it all his life so he may as well face the music.
"You can't beat 'em join 'em."
These words were softly spoken, they were intended for himself only and required no reply or reaction from any one around him. His eyes were staring fixedly ahead and he saw the stalking figure of Tiao. He knew the name, he knew the face and he knew the rumours. Before reacting to his presence he looked toward Aden and spoke in a casual tone.
"Food and a fight it is then Aden."
With that he rose his gaze once more and picked out the approaching Tiao from the crowd. Something seemed to have pissed him off and it seemed he was moving for no man. Not really caring about the young mans mood and never one to shy away from any confrontation Arlen maintained his casual stroll as he headed toward the caféteria. His body only taughtening up as Tiao was about to make contact with him. Being the size he was and having the strength he did Arlen knew that if he didn't want to move then he wasn't going to, as Tiao made contact with Arlen he would find himself coming up against a formidable force as Arlen made a point of adding a little extra to the collision. After doing so he would stop and allow himself to turn around not waiting for a reaction from Aden.
"This is how you try and create order in a place of chaos? You and your pimp Yang are pathetic."
Arlen's gaze was locked on Tiao, his face registered no reaction to his words. His stature had relaxed with his arms hanging casually at his side. His feet however had been placed at a shoulders width and the knees slightly bent. His stance looked for all intents and purposes to be the comfortable stance of someone chatting with friends. When in fact Arlen had loosely prepared himself for some form of physical conflict.
"I don't see no fighting Tiao."
Arlen pointed in the direction of the students who were currently cleaning up the mess they had played their part in creating.
"All I see are students working together, cleaning up the mess they helped create."
Arlen paused, his muscular arm lowered itself to hang once more at his side. He was carefully watching the 'Tiger of Hircine'. Waiting for some form of reply.

(OOC: Was waiting for Aden, but now I'm assuming he's waiting for me.)
Arlen and Aden certainly wouldn't be caught off guard by Tiao Lei Shen's appraoch, as that was the entire intention of the former pillar. Though not exactly comparable in size, Tiao was solid in his own rights along with his own lower center of gravity. As such, no one would really be knocked back by collision. Rather, each person would feel the impact as Tiao's body would squeeze through, making the whole thing very aggressive.
Unless Arlen was a fool, which he was regardless in to Tiao, then the 'relaxation' was nothing more than a readying for confrontation. At the brief reply of Arlen, Tiao would be seen giving off a quick and small smile before turning his head and snickering.
"Sounds to me that you need to look harder, then."
As Tiao would finish speaking, giving no time for a verbal reply, his left hand would pull from his pocket as he lunged off his back left foot. As Tiao never moved far after bumping into the pillars, his impressive speed wouldn't be telegraphed as he slid deeper into striking range. As he did so his right foot would lift up a few inches, slamming itself down onto Arlen's left ankle. As the forward momentum carried on, Tiao's elbows would pull into his ribs, keeping his hands just below his chin in a defensive posture. All the while the main attack would come, slamming his right shoulder with extreme velocity into the solar plexus or lower ribs of Arlen (depending on how far he turned to face Tiao), purposefully angling his head to watch for response of both Arlen or Aden.

(Wow, sorry this took so long.)
As Aden suggested making their leave for the cafeteria, Arlen gave a brief nod, seeming to agree that it was the bets idea. As Arlen went to murmur something to himself, Aden noticed a new figure approaching from the distance. Another Paragon student entering the scene of what looked like a tornado hit. The lockers on the ground, some students as well, and the rest attempting to clean up, it was quite the site. He frowned at the sight. Utter chaos it had been; Arlen chucking lockers while a group of students fought it out in the hall, but now it was over, orderly, and rather dull.
Arlen agreed with Aden’s idea of heading for the cafeteria, or anywhere for a quick bite to eat. It mattered little to him, as he merely wanted some food in his stomach. However, as they began to walk off they were met with the approaching figure before. They grew closer and none of the three students attempted to move out of the way. As they met, the student squeezed himself through, making contact with both Aden and Arlen as he progressed through. The student stopped behind them, speaking up with distaste towards the Pillar’s. Aden turned around along with Arlen, taking a look at the man ho was addressing them. Just who was this, anyway? He had never seen him before, doubted he had heard of him. He was nobody.
Arlen spoke up to the mocking of the man. Yes, the school was slightly chaotic, a fight here and there, almost everywhere. As with a captain and pillars, they were expected to form some sort of Order that would rule the school, however, Aden didn’t agree with such things. Yes, Pillars were the ones who represented what the Captain wanted, but Aden wasn’t even sure what it was Tai wanted out of this. He didn’t want order, he wanted everything the same and it confused Aden more than satisfying him. Tai Yang seemed to be keeping things the same, and if he wasn’t going to work on some sort of order, Aden hardly saw the reason for him to bust his balls in attempt to do so, especially when he was more interested in the chaos aspect.
This seemed to be how Arlen caused order, however, remarking to Tiao about the lack of fighting in the hall. It was true, he had stopped the bout in a rather eccentric and innovative way, blooding up the students as he did, but Aden didn’t make an effort. Hell, he only showed up when everything was just about finished. There had been little for him to do. He was addressed by name; an unfamiliar one. Tiao was someone Aden hadn’t heard of, seeming to be just another Paragon student.
Tiao approached after words, moving into an attack on Arlen, seeming to ignore Aden as he went on. If he was going to deal with the larger man first, so be it, two on one hardly seemed fair, even for him. It was always nice to see the new Pillar in action and this would be the perfect time to assess it, as long as Aden wasn’t thrown into the fray. He’d make it into there eventually, Tiao not seeming like the one to forget about him, but he’d wait for now, speaking as he approached.
“Oh, Tiao, right? You hardly seem to understand my goals in all of this. Order? I haven’t been working for order.”
He backed up slightly for Arlen and Tiao to face off, briefly.
(Again, sorry for taking so long.)

as usual Antonio was late for school but he didnt care he carelessly walked through the doors and was walking down the hallway slowly, everything was so dull and boring ~i must have missed all the fun~ he thought to himself figuring someone had fought during the day.
he quickly dismissed the thought and continued to walk down the hallway until he ran into a minor problem a fight about to start between one unfamiliar student and a student he knew at tiao, Antonio stopped flat and decided with an evil smile to watch as events unrolledhe backed up against the wall and relaxed as the events would soon begin
his only question was who would win the unknown person or tiao, looking at them both he wasnt sure size didnt matter much to him being that he himself had a small figure do to martial arts and was alot stronger then he appeared so maybe making a quick judgement wasnt smart, Antonios only thought was to let things unroll and then maybe jumping into it and facing the winner, depending on how he felt after the whole fray
