Call this spam, but I might as well make it loud and clear to the newer folks: Much appreciated by putting something like "(bio done)" in your display name when your bio is together.
It saves the trouble of waiting by a little 'cause: 1) We don't patrol pending bios that're work in progress 24/7. 2) It's plain as day so one of several mods can hop to it instead of waiting for one to answer a PM.

I'd rather expect people to save the bio on a word document and then merely post it when it is finished. Saves some work for mods looking around and it is usually expected that you all have some sort of writing document.

It's easier to write in the text box here though. Word has some weird quirks when the [ ] tags are used.

Although I have a personal preference to saving all the work on a word processor (I like presenting complete projects rather than works in progress), some folks hop computers a lot. I know I was bored for a while whenever I wanted to finish a draft to a post and was in the college library instead of at home.
