I'm against over-compression though. I sorta understand page loads, but gawd forbid people do something so strenuous as scrolling a page that takes up much[/i] less VERTICAL SPACE and utilizes more HORIZONTAL SPACE compared to other XIN RPB's! Deary me! What's ever to become of our scrolling fingers![/quote] I don't actually scroll anymore... I just press the END button. It's easier with the whole laptop thing. Though, I guess my scrolling finger is getting mighty weak as of late.

Lol.
Valencia's take on the compression makes me favor it more so than KV's opinionated complaint. Maybe cuz I see real substance? But, anyways. I see a lot of sense in what Val's saying, but if taken to the extent of where we'll actually do it, there's only a (very) few things i'd point out. We have to point out somewhere that people can come up with threads in a desert environment. Same in regards to the beaches. The only thing concerning me is that people will forget about specific locations, you know? And I don't want that to happen.

The only thing concerning me is that people will forget about specific locations, you know? And I don't want that to happen. Well, I did suggest putting up a post for each section describing in detail each area and the different key locations found in each of them, just to prevent said forgetfulness.

But giving key locations would almost imply that those locations are the only valid ones in the vicinity, whereas people are as far as I remember free to create new locations inside said sub boards... for instance, if several locations are summed as outskirts and those locations are given in a post, I doubt people would start a thread on a location in the outskirts, other than the said locations... while now we have those small sub sections and if your location is not in there, you just create a thread in the main section...

But adding a simple "These places are only examples of what you can find here and are by no means the only places you can RP. Feel free to make your own locations."
- Kvist, being constructive rather than destructive... The Mayan apocalypse draws near.

So... Are boards going to be made/renamed and are threads going to be moved?

Well, yes. Only, I'm not goin to start until the current storyline wraps up so I can do it all at one time. Also, my internet is out at home so I'm moving slower than usual--which isn't too big of a deal it seems since all threads with all my characters are waiting for other people's replies.

So after the current plot ends, and one of the schools is wiped, you'll then get rid of said school's board, yeah? I'm wondering if you're also planning on tidying it up or if you are just planning on dealing with the one school.
