How do you imagine them?
After playing Metal Gear Solid 4 i've come to the conclusion that all of my fights are played through my head like that. When Solid and Liquid fight in Europe is a good example of pwnage, and how I see myself fighting.
Anyone else? Realistic, cinematic, Anime, MGS?

You hit the nail on the head. I'd love a MGS 4 esque battle. Rex versus Ray? Yes please.
Though if I could, I wouldn't mind fighting someone in the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I throw a galaxy at you! Hah!

I really want to see some MGS4 clips now, just to see what they're like.
Really though, I use all those options, except for MGS, when fighting. Not all at once mind you, but for different fights my mind use's different methods. If I just watched some UFC, PRIDE, K-1, or something along those lines, then yeah, my minds going to favour realistic. Just read a manga or watched an anime, there you go. Watched a movie, along the same lines.

Myself I enjoy brutal fights. I try to maintain as much realism as possible, but allow a little hyperbole when it comes to the injuries and being able to fight on through them. At the end of the day I fight for fun on these boards, and I don't understand this idea that not getting hit in a fight is a good thing. Surely taking a square blow to the jaw and then standing back up to give as good as you got is far more impressive than dodging every blow that comes your way.
I like to walk the fine line between cinematic and realistic, when it comes to my fights.
Edit: Think Bourne films, and you're along the right lines of how I see my fights going.

I try to use as much realism as i possibly can, but sometimes I may get a little exaggerated in how I use my character. Just try to do the standard, "take a hit-throw a stronger one" style. Although thinking my fights were all as much action as the Bourne movies would be so bad ass.

I like to think of mine as old-school Batman fights, where the sound effects would pop up on the screen. "BIFF, POW, CRASH!" That kinda thing.

And I'm certain there was a thread like this created before. Anyway, I pretty much try to make fights as realistic as possible, with, like, movie elements in them. Like a kung-fu flick or something crossed with cagefighting. Or MMA, or UFC, or whatever you wanna call it.

It's mostly because when fights are judged, whoever takes the most hits loses.

Lol.
In every fight I RPed my perspective changed during the fights themselves. But, I think it depends on the situation itself. At first I would think it like an anime, but then translate it to something happening in person. But, if I had to say, I think I view mostly all in "anime form." It changed dramatically though, since I think a lot of it had to do with my age. It's hard to explain without repeating my self or sounding redundant, so I'll stop here xD.

Whenever I fight in an RP my mid usualy vers off into a mixture of reality and anime setting, but keeping it so when they get hit hard, they stay dowb for a while.

I like to trap my mind heavily in reality. But it gets really hard when no one gets hit, or something really corny happens that breaks the mood. (I'm reminded about one of my sneak attacks being dodged by a sneeze.) However on boards with much less reality infused into them I usually end up having no choice but viewing it as CG, example: The Matrix or something of the like.

Real-life, where possible. If I can get a good enough visual on what my opponent looks like (which isn't too hard, considering most people describe themselves well enough), I build the scene in my mind and play out the movements from different angles, like a well-choreographed film scene.
