And this is why.Seems some kids tried one of Gaara's almighty moves in a sandbox and the kid got hospitilized. There was an update, not in the article, stating the kid died. For the record, I laughed my ass off at what had happened, but of course I feel bad for the child dieing under such idiotic circumstances. I am gonna enjoy reading this up on the rest of the internet. Kids being shooped into sandboxes all around.

Congratulations, with your logic you have reached a level of fail equal to that of tose who think video games cause mass murders.

Note: This thread is NOT supposed to cause such comments. (Directed more towards Keith, though I can understand why you'd say that.) Aden wasn't necessarily saying it's a good thing (that it happened), just that it did and that it was a silly reason. But it IS quite tragic. The boy's family decided to donate his organs in his memory. Links? HereAnd here.

The kid was 10. How was he supposed to know? The lack of supervision is what killed this kid, not the cartoon series.

I would have reacted more positively to this thread if I hadn't seen it's type far too often. It's sad that the kid died and that he was stupid enough to asphyxiate himself but the fact Aden used it as a "Why I don't watch Naruto." annoyed me. If not because it's exploiting a tragedy than the fact it was completely unnecessary.

If not because it's exploiting a tragedy than the fact it was completely unnecessary. Oh joy. I never blamed Naruto for this. I just joked about it. I don't watch the show, period. I don't like it. I never said it was Naruto's fault that this happened and I wouldn't expect it to be censored, etc, etc. I don't care if you find it unecessary for me saying that, I said it. there wasn't anything wrong with it. It was a joke. Hell, if anything I agree with you. Blaming shows and games on tradegies is stupid. I don't do it. I believe I even have a thread around here showing my distaste for one of Jack thompsons little episodes. What I am trying to get across with this thread is the discussion of a kid dieing for an idiotic reason. Obviously that is going over your head, but I blame myself more for that because I can see how my post is confusing. Congratulations, with your logic you have reached a level of fail equal to that of tose who think video games cause mass murders. What logic? A kid died trying to imitate a Naruto move. That's a fact.

This happens more than we know anyway... I mean, there was a Japanese kid that fell to his death because he thought he was a pidgeoto(something like this, pokemon flying creature) and jumped out a building... People commit suicide because their WoW accounts got hacked, or find out who did it and murder them... I guess games/series do have influence on this, bot mostly it's just the lack of realism that kids have and yeah, parents should look out for that. But no parents can expect his child to jump out a window only because he had screamed he was a bird with a smile on his face... I can imagine they would've said, 'sure you are'. So yeah, who is to blame for this kind of deaths anyway? If there is anyone to blame at all...
