His reply made her blink, but she accepted the compliment with a smirk, although brief, it was enough to suggest Mae was at least TRYING to be nice. 'I suppose I shouldn't dash away when the time is ripe. That'd be cruel. Besides, I gotta admit I'm a little curious about how everything will go...'
Her eyes settled on the rose that was offered to her, Mae-Lim struggling with how to react. Christ, she'd never been on a date before! What the hell was she supposed to do? Giggle and blush and take it? 'Don't even dare...' she thought, figuring that she might as well keep on with the smirk replies....or something. So there she went, offering a smirk, eyeing the rose before taking it it slowly and twirling the stem between her finger and thumb. "Interesting..." she said softly, wether it be the action itself or the fact it had been a tiny magic-trick was unsure. Hell it could be both. Either way she gave him a nod in reply, turning to head down the stage along with everyone else. However a sudden thought made her stall after her first step, and she looked at him over her shoulder with a less then comforting grin. "Oh and don't worry, Steve, was it? I'm not going to try and kill you."
It's not to say that Mae-Lim was a mind reader, because, well, she wasn't. However she DID manage to think similarily to him. Her thought had been more like 'I guess I won't poison his drink.' (Well not exactly that but you get the idea). As far as she was concerned, they weren't at school so there was nothing for her to prove by attempting to harm her "Date". Regardless, her dark humour had her in better spirits. Or maybe this date being her ticket to freedom from the the 'idiot' and the 'talking pin-cushion' had done it. Anyway, she was beginning to get devious ideas with this situation for later. No, it wasn't going to be at her date's expence at all (well, if it DID end up being so, she wasn't planning on it), so no worries for him.
"Let's go then~"
She waited for her prize to "lead the way", always finding herself most comfortable "stalking" along someone rather then leading the way.
'So long as it isn't TOO weird, maybe I'll have...that thing...uh. Fun. Yes.'

She was still posing, showing off her beauty to everyone and making sure they saw it. Aina was not shy while in front of a crowd and even laid her front side on Adam’s arm, her hand on his chest, showing them who was lucky enough to have her on a date. Plus, from what she remembered(which is not all that much), she had a liking towards him. He was a pretty handsome guy after all and he was also kind. Adam spoke now, Aina standing straight, lifting her head to look at the bulky male before her. “Hee, I like know what you mean.” She began. Since she technically knew that she knew him and knew that the last time they saw each other was a pretty long time ago, she decided to just use that information without looking too stupid. “Well, it’s totally been like a long time we haven’t seen each other! Makes me happy to like see you again, Adam.” She smiled.
The Swedish girl looked around and convinced herself that she might as well stop showing off now and get a move on to this date thing. It sounded like fun after all and maybe her Valentine’s Day would be even more exciting then it usually is. Well, she might as well go now and not waste anymore time. So she grasped Adam’s hand and pulled him out into the crowd so that they could go to this lady person so that they could get their date thing set up. It was not very hard to find her really. “Come on!” she giggled as she easily found her way to her destination so that they could set things up. Once there, she made the arrangements for a simple date. In other words: dinner and a movie. It was simple but satisfying and fun. Now the busty blonde had to wait and see if her date would agree on the arrangements so that they could start the actual date and finally have fun.

The girl looked at the rose as if it were completely alien to her. Still, she was giving Alkaiser little smirks that gave him a glimpse into her better nature, if only for a moment. He returned smiles back to her, and is given an answer.
"Oh and don't worry, Steve, was it? I'm not going to try and kill you."
"Ack! This girl's a mind-reader! What am I supposed to do abou--...wait a sec...she can hear me right now! Alright Steve...calm down...that's not possible..." Instead of running away screaming at that moment, Steve just gave an awkward chuckle, as if to say 'no, that wasn't what I was thinking at all!'
"Lets go then," she continues. He offers her his arm to lead her off stage. Not that he didn't trust her behind his back or anything. The two are off to talk to the lady at the bar, and begin what is sure to be an interesting night.
(OOC: Right...so, new thread then? I'll make it later probably, I'm just about all posted out for tonite.)

'What can he do indeed..?' Aryn impishly echoed in her mind, a slightly devious, lopsided smile flickering over her lips.
''You're not in competition with him unless you think you are,'' She replied, a quick, light flick of her hair sent the straight locks swinging behind her back. ''As for what you can do...''
''You can run off the stage screaming like a maniac.''
Surely she couldn't be serious? The smirk had disappeared from her lips, and she looked like she meant what she said. Perhaps she'd held the straight expression a bit longer than necessary, but a moment later, her lips quirked into a smile.
''Honestly? Be yourself; be interesting. I'd rather not be out on a date with someone that's going to stare at my breasts the whole night like some of the guys I've been given drinks from...mind you, that was technically the plan, having gone for those guys in the first place...'' If ever there was a time for an anime sweat-drop, this was it. As it was, her voice went to a slightly sheepish, but decidedly amused tone, before switching to a slightly sweeter, but no less amused (or serious) as she questioned: ''Anything I can do for you?''
There was a sort of cheeky humour lighting her eyes as she offered her arm to him, and if he took it with the returned good humour, she didn't have a problem with it, but nor would she mind taking his arm if he offered.
Changing the topic, she tilted her head. ''If we're allowed to choose our 'date', what do you have in mind for doing..?''

OOC: Because Odin hasn't posted anything yet, I don't have much to work with, so whatever I post about Odin, it's purely from my own imagination, unless Odin objects later otherwise, so yeah, yay for plot twists!
Ryou made his way through the crowd, his hands in his pockets, wondering what the hell just happened. " Great, must be my lucky day." he sighed in his head, " Could this get any worse?" The minute he thought that, he regretted it instantly. " Onii-chan!" a voice called out, making his face drop even more. " Oh no....oh hell no! Please tell me I did not just hear that..." he thought dreadingly, as he turned his gaze at the direction of the voice. It was his sister, Amy, waving and motioning him to come over. He tapped Odin on the shoulder and muttered something to him, to which Odin nodded and disappeared into the crowd. Ryou picked his way through the crowd and tables, and reached his sister. " Amy! What're you doing here?" he asked, surprised, but his face held a look of dread. His sister's face on the hand, had an expression of delight. " Hehehe, I saw what happened, I didn't know you swung that way Ryou." she laughed, Ryou merely planting his palm on his face. " Mom and Dad went out, and since I had nothing to do, one of my friends called and asked if I wanted to come to Club Legion with her, so I did. Mom already knows, I called her on her cell, and since you were here too, she let me go." Ryou dug his face deeper in his palm, oh irony, how it mocked him.
" Ugh, whatever Amy, just don't go anywhere with any strangers okay?" Ryou finally said, removing his palm from his face. " Yeah, I know, geez, don't be so serious onii...Is that the owner of the club?" she said mid-sentence, her gaze looking over at Taiku. " Huh? Yeah, that's him, why?" Ryou replied, looking surprised. " Oh, well my friend Maria, the one that brought me along, happened to remember hearing his name before, and that he owned Club Legion, Taiku Akimoto." " Taiku huh?" " Yup. Well onii-chan, you'd better run along, you're a 'prize' after all." she grinned, as Ryou once again planted his face in his palm. " Yeah yeah, whatever, laugh it up." Ryou murmered, as he turned away and disappeared into the crowd.
" She just loves to torture me..." Ryou groaned in his mind, as he walked through the crowd, but at the precise moment, he had a brilliant idea, one that would, instead of him being tortured, would have him laughing at his sister. Odin already knew, he had told him before meeting up with his sister. He grinned mischievously, as he made his way through the crowd towards the stage, and waved his arms to catch Taiku's attention, oh how devious his idea was.
" This'll be a blast."

The look he received would make any man's heart drop, as well as shrink an ego the size of the world down to that of a single atom. Hell, he wasn't that bad was he? A small mental shrug and the working of keeping the grin from faltering too much and the thought was pushed from his head, still he couldn't help speaking on the reception he got.
"You know, a look like that could change gold back into lead."
Abit disheartening sure, but to get a grievance such as the one he received and not comment on it would not be in his nature or most other peoples. Still he couldn't help but chuckle abit at the thought of keeping the date entertaining. A wicked little grin coming onto his face as he spoke.
"You sure about that? It seems to me that the two you were with are plenty entertaining for half this crowd. Happy Things Indeed."

Post by Pain Killer on Mar 2, 2008 8:28:36 GMT 1
Uncomfortable with any form of touching other than when he was fighting someone, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer did his best to hide his growing anxiety from his date. After all, he didn't want to give her the impression that he didn't want to go on this date with her, as Adam genuinely liked Aina from before, but certain past events made any sort of intimacy difficult to accept. Still, he'd resigned himself to at least try on this date, and try he would.
"I'm happy to see you again too, Aina."
Adam managed to smile again, the muscles in his cheeks starting to feel somewhat sore from being used more than they had been in months. Before he could think too much on this fact, Aina grabbed his hand and began pulling him into the crowd, Pain Killer's eyes going wide with surprise. It seemed to be the pattern for the night, as his sister had done much the same thing, and the results were the same; the crowd quickly parted to let the two of them through. The two made it to Rene with little interruption, and Aina began setting up the arrangements for the date, and the two women seemingly waited on him to see if he agreed with the terms.
Idly, Pain Killer realized he was still holding Aina's hand.
"Uh... yeah! Yeah, that sounds good."
Pulling his attention back onto what was going on around him, Pain Killer gave a small laugh, letting some of the tension out, before looking towards Aina.
"I guess our date starts now, eh?"

After Aden’s last statement, he caught the girl in front of him, Aryn, contemplating over it only to have a smile come over her lips. She responded to his prior statement, he wasn’t in competition with anyone. His interest rose and an eyebrow rose to the girl. Truly, there was no competition, but she seemed to have a way to mess with his head. He only smirked and let it slide, to hear the next sentence flow from her lips. ’’As for what you can do...''
What she said next only made him feel awkward. She was looking fairly serious. He wasn’t able to tell if this was a joke or if she truly wanted him to do such a thing. It felt like minutes, but was only seconds until a smile perked on her lips. A sigh of relief could be heard in his mind, but he kept his composure.
Truly, she just wanted someone interesting, but someone who was himself. Aden didn’t know what interested the girl, but he knew that there wasn’t much that interested him anymore. The feeling of boredom was something he felt often and hated it. He didn’t want to make this girl feel the same way. He wasn’t that kind of guy. A smirk grew on his lips again.
However, her statement seemed to trail off. She didn’t want some generic stereotypical male who stared at her chest, that was certain, but what she said with it, well, the awkward air was back. He could see it on her end too. She quickly changed the subject, inquiring if there was anything she could do for Aden.
“I won’t stare at your chest unless you what me to,” Aden said in a sly tone. “As for what you could do for me, well, it’s truly up to you. I didn’t exactly have this planned tonight, and I can never really think of stuff to do out of the blue.”
Aryn offered her arm to him. He took her arm with his, still looking at her. She wondered what they should do if allowed to pick their dates, only for Aden to think of typical things.
“I’m used to dinner and a movie, but if you have any ideas, I’m up for them.”

OOC: I obtained permission from Taiku to control what he says, and Odin is fine with my idea as well. Words in italics is Taiku talking.
Ryou made his way around a particularly huge group that block his way, but after much twisting, he managed to reach the stage. Taiku walked over to him and bent down, and Ryou began whispering in his ear, telling Taiku his plan, as Taiku listened intently. As Ryou continued informing him, he couldn't help but crack a mischievous grin. As soon as he finished, he could tell that Taiku was trying hard to hide his sly grin, he then nodded at Ryou, and Ryou turned around, he couldn't wait to see the look on his sister's face. Taiku made his way over to the mic, as a spotlight shined down on him, attracting a bit of the crowd's attention. " Well, I certainly hope everyone is enjoying the event so far, so get ready, looks like we have a surprise, one that even I didn't expect to happen." A murmur erupted in the crowd, a surprise? This was certainly unexpected indeed. The murmur only succeeded in making Ryou grin mischievously even more.
" We have a slight change in the pairings, as you all know, one of the 'prizes' was taken off-stage without an announcement, and it turns out, he has gracefully relinquished his spot and given it to someone, someone close to him." Taiku paused briefly, as the conversation grew in sound, the crowd wondering, which "prize" gave up his spot? " Would Amy Jackson please make her way over to Rene? I'm sure Odin is getting tired of waiting." Taiku finished, as the spotlight dimmed and he made his way off the stage.
Ryou looked over at the direction of his sister, as she stared in the direction of the stage, her eyes landed on her brother, as he leaned backwards on the stage. He sent a friendly wave her way, as she stood up and made her way not to Rene, but to him. Ryou was trying very hard to restrain himself from laughing out loud, the look on his sister's face was priceless, absolutely priceless. " Ryou!" he heard a pissed off voice shout out, as his sister squeezed her way through the crowd and standing in front of him, clearly shocked but also looking slightly annoyed. " What was that all about!?" " Calm down sis, what's the big deal? As Taiku so elegantly said, I relinquished my spot to you, you're going on a date." " That's not the point! Why didn't you tell me before?" " Come on Amy, I'm not allowed to have a laugh or two? Besides, the look on your face was priceless, I should've taken a picture." " Ryou! You're such a sneak." " Would you chill already? Besides, you're going on a date with Odin Reeves, so don't complain." " But...I...oh fine then." " Good"
As Amy turned to leave, Ryou grabbed her arm, pulling her back, " But you've got to promise me something, ask Odin if one day, the two of us, just him and I, can have a friendly sparring match, it's not everyday you meet the Current Tournament Champion." " ..." " A-M-Y..." " Oh fine then, I promise." " Good, now get going, don't make him wait forever." he teased, as he released his sister's arm. She turned her head slightly and stuck her tongue out at him. Ryou sighed, the things he did for his sister. He then straightened up, and made his way over to the bar, and ordered a drink, just for tonight. It wasn't every day you end up in Club Legion, especially on this night of all nights.

(sorry this is late. I had a busy weekend and monday)
Mickey looked towards the male couple that Felix talked about. It was kind of funny. Gays were cool and all, but seeing two straight guys together was just funny. They definitely did not seem very happy or cuddly like some people were, especially the blonde girl with the huge jugs, who seemed to have left her spot with her date. “Oh well. I’m sure they can have a nice friendly guy outing if they refuse to go all huggy and kissy.” Oh god the mental thought was hilarious. The blue eyed girl could not help suppress a soft chuckled at it as she watched the two males. “Don’t know if I should pity them or be happy.”
Mickey could hear Felix’s voice as he began to speak again. So she turned her head around and looked up at him, listening carefully at his words as she began to think. She didn’t really know what she wanted to do….a movie and dinner would be fun and satisfying, but something fun would be cool to. Maybe something fun would be better, like an amusement park! Oh boy did she love those! But she could never have the fun she wanted because of her lack of friends. Maybe he would want to do that? She would have to ask. The black and red headed girl kept her almost emotionless eyes on him as she thought of how to ask him. Why was she even thinking so much? She was usually direct with her thoughts after all. “Well, if you want something fun, there should be an amusement park near by. Let’s go there! I want to go on a rollercoaster!” she exclaimed gleefully.
As he would respond to her, she decided to make her way to Rene. They could talk on the way and confirm what they would do. “Come.” She simply said as she began to walk into the crowd, barely waiting for him to follow.

(im just gonna wing this post. Ill start the new thread in another day. pm me if there are any complications.)
He laughed when she had said whether or not to be happy or to pity the odd pair. In his opinion, he would laugh. Taiku had announced something about it being comepletely random, and as if fate wanted to prove those words, it had happened.
He listened to her get all excited about an amusement park, and it had been a while since he had even glimpsed one of them. He went from his home to the streets and every last penny went to food. Even at Varron, he was too busy fighting and surviving, making sure he had a roof over his head. Fun never seemed to come to him. "That would actually be a lot of fun," he said as she started making her way towards Rene.
He did like who he was paired up with. Even if they were complete opposites in figure alone, she seemed like the adventurous type, and he had no problem following her command. "You know, I think theres one thats actually pretty close to here, too." They made it to Rene and waited to actually speak with her about what they actually wanted to do. Mickey doing most of the talking while Felix stood and waited for it to be okayed.
Once done with the particulars, the day, time and location, the last bit was to get Mickey's number and then get a decent nights rest. Amusement parks weren't known for the slow hearted. "Alright then, everythings set. Just let me get your number and I'll give you a call and get directions the day of. If thats alright with you," he stated as they slowly made their way from the somewhat large crowd around Rene.

'...interesting? Not particularly...' Aryn thought, pursing her lips slightly at her thoughts before they smoothed out again with Aden taking her offered arm. 'Leaving most, if not everything, up to me is kinda...well, ugh. ...dull.'
It was the mildest word she could think of for her disappointment for the lack of ''interest'', let's say, in inventing some sort of wacky date. Dinner and a movie was a start, all things considered.
''Movies... Let's see. There's Rambo, National Treasure II, uhhh, There Will Be Blood, to name a few. Otherwise? Surely we could do something like round up the other couples for paintball, or lazer tag, or hell, we could even to to the Golden Gate Park for a game of Man Hunt...tweaked from the game I'd played with Valencia over there.'' So saying, she gestured to the blonde-brunette having a ''chat'' with someone she didn't know, but obviously she wasn't pleased to be with.
'Might give her a chance to make him wish for 'Happy Things'.' She thought rather smugly, playing on the thing her friends had been screaming and unknowingly aluding to what Vince and Valencia were talking about.
''And that's just off the top of my head. Surely even you can come up with something now..?'' It was a hopeful look she directed to Aden, looking up as they descended from the stage and started to make their way over to Rene to sort out their details. And without waiting for him to concede or attempt to argue, she stopped in her tracks, took her arm from his, and shouted, voice rising over the din of the crowd, most of whom quieted so her voice could carry.
''Prizes and Winners! Who's up for paintball, lazer tag, or man-hunt as a group 'date'?! After, of course, whatever you plan to do on your own?!''
'Now, hopefully, things will get interesting.'
. o O ( PM me if you're interested. As Aryn said, it would be a tweaked form of ''The Nameless Game'', set in the Golden Gate Park, details to be given via PM if you're all interested. Of course, lazer tag and paintball are other options. ^_^ )

Post by Odin Reeves on Mar 4, 2008 23:20:05 GMT 1
Sitting back down at the bar Odin relaxed with a hunched forward position. His glass of water hadn’t been moved an inch since he left for the stage, the only difference in it’s content was that the temperature inside of it had risen up to room temperature. Nothing new to the hopeful professional fighter, gulping back the last of its remains before turning his head back in the direction of the stage. There he saw Ryou, the boy he was suppose to be having a charity ‘date’ with, and his sister. The entire situation was odd, and extremely out of place for Odin’s usually well kept life style. But, at least he wasn’t being forced into experimenting by ‘dating’ a member of the same sex. Despite this being San Francisco Odin wasn’t in the mood to try a new life style.
As he watched Amy turn away from his brother he left his bar stool, making his way over toward a center point in between either of their paths. Stepping up to her he greeted her with a kind and friend “hello” before directing her over to the edge of the bar where they could wait for Rene and speak in a ‘quiet’ area of the club. Letting her sit down on the only remaining stool he patiently stood beside her, words unable to flow form his mouth as Rene directed other couples on their way. Turning his head to the side he had a slightly puzzled look.
“Would you like to head out for a walk? It’s a nice night and it’s better then just sitting around.” Odin smiled, mostly out of being polite and showing etiquette for the young women, but it had sincerity to it. Unlike his other smile it didn’t show the bloodlust of a man born to fight, but rather one that was actually happy just to be.
After a ‘sure’ from his date Odin extended his arm, just like Conner had done earlier for Victoria, and gently held Amy’s in his own. Moving around the crowd he made sure to go slow, letting Amy’s steps set the pace as they headed outside. He already had the feeling that it was going to be a nice, peaceful night. Perhaps not what anyone truly expects of a date, but it would satisfy the ‘winner’, and hopefully the prize.
(Easiest way I could think of to have both Odin leave, and not have to go into detail about a date with someone else’s NPC character…. Weird)

Aden got the vibe that Aryn hadn’t particularly enjoyed his statement that the date was up to her. He had to admit; he hadn’t been planning anything and at first wasn’t particularly interested like some of the others might have been. Even with an attractive girl like her, he found it hard to understand what he was supposed to do.
She listed off names of movies, yet she didn’t seem to care in Aden’s eyes. He couldn’t blame her, but what she suggested after that really brought him alive. Paintball, laser tag, and man hunt. They all sounded very fun. It wasn’t something he was new to. Paintball was something he played on a regular basis. It was a game where he truly felt alive and nothing was better than pummeling someone with his ‘balls.’ (heh heh)
Aden didn’t know what manhunt was, but if it involved physical contact he was sure to have fun playing it. His left hand started to twitch slightly, there was no way he had suspected he could have so much fun that night. He eyes the other winners. Oh, what he would do to them.
“It’s a great idea,” he said, excitement heard in his voice. He made a shooting gesture at each prize and winner with a smile on his face and a cool tone to his movements. ‘Surely you have come up with something by now?’ Aden thought. He wanted to do something exhilarating. “I’ve never played something like this at night. That would probably be the thing on top of my list. Just the thought…” He trailed off smiling as the girl walked to get the attention of the others.
She began to shout at the other contestants, offering them to join if they wanted. He stood beside, her willing to have them join as well. To her he spoke close, he didn’t have to speak softly, however, since the place was fairly loud by itself. “If you want another idea for something to do, I know of a shooting range. That's somethign a particularly enjoy. If you would like to give it a try sometime. Hell, a drink is always nice too." He talked in a calm sly tone.
Leaving her to decide on everything wasn’t fair to her, so Aden threw in something of his own.

Ryou leaned forward on the bar counter, as he sat on one of the stools, sipping the drink he ordered. His little trick on his sister gave him something to laugh at, but now that the excitement had died down, he was bored, bored as hell, he had nothing to do, except stare at the ice that was beginning to melt in the glass. Was he ever wrong.
''Prizes and Winners! Who's up for paintball, lazer tag, or man-hunt as a group 'date'?! After, of course, whatever you plan to do on your own?!''
Ryou turned his head slightly to look behind him, the announcement came from Aryn, one of the girls that had been on-stage alongside him as a "prize". He smirked slightly, " Well, isn't that an interesting proposition." he thought, " Perhaps I'll join in on your little soiree..." This night was getting more and more interesting by the minute. He had a little bit of doubt in his mind though, he didn't know whether he was still considered a prize or not, having given his status over to his one and only sister, who had already exited the Club, stage right with Odin. He got off the stool, leaving his empty glass on the counter, and made his way over to Aryn, who hadn't left the club yet with her date. He weaved his way through the crowd, until he was standing behind her. He tapped her on the shoulder, making her turn around.
" I heard your little announcement. Interesting idea, I might just get in on the action, although whether I still count as a prize still remains to be decided. Your call, although if I don't count, I might just decide to gatecrash." he said, a mischievous smirk playing on his face, as he folded his arms. He wasn't too sure about the others though, maybe he was the first one to approach her, he didn't know. Either way, this was something worth his while, and he wasn't about to let the chance slip away.

(Eh, no problem. I’m finishing up as well, won’t be perfect but meh. Then you can start the thread whenever.)
“Then that amusement park will do fine.” She smirked. Really, anywhere fun and exciting would do fine! Plus now that she had someone with her to do that fun thing with, it would be much more exciting.
Mickey felt like she took more control then Felix did. If that was a good or bad thing, she would not know. But she just lifted her shoulders at it, ignore it. Well, at least she was sort of learning about him and herself.
“Oh. Right” she said, lifting a brow. Boy, it would be so weird for anyone to be calling her. Oh well, she was a growing girl and eventually people will begin to like her better. Right? And if they do, well she will be called upon much more often. Hopefully she would not sound too weird while speaking on the phone. “Yeah, uhh, sure.” The black and red headed girl went to a counter, taking a napkin and took out a pen that she kept in one of her many pockets, writing down her phone number at home and her cell phone number. Well, that way he would be able to reach her anytime. “Here.” She said, handing over the napkin. “It’s my home and cell number, call anytime.” Now, she just followed him. What else could she do? Plus, whenever he would decide to go home or go see friends, she would probably go home, or stay around to get a few of the tickets from the floor.

(ooc: I feel like I'm posting too much in here, ha ha!)
Felix had seen the slight hesitation in Mickeys features when he asked her for her number. Though she had lead him threw the crowd and to get everything finalized, he could guess that she didn't get out much, or know that many people. It was almost as if she had to second guess what she was doing.
Once he had the napkin in his hands he slipped his cell out of his pocket and placed both numbers into his phone. "Thanks, that will make things much easier." He crumpled up the napkin and slipped it into his pocket as well. There was no point tossing it out and it getting picked up by a random person.
It was at this point that things would have gotten awkward, were it not for one of contestants had shouted for all to hear.
''Prizes and Winners! Who's up for paintball, lazer tag, or man-hunt as a group 'date'?! After, of course, whatever you plan to do on your own?!''
His head had naturally turned to the sound of the voice, and then back to Mickey with a smile. "That also sounds like fun. Of course, you don't have to attend if you don't want to." Felix, however, actually wanted to attend. He'd have to get in contact with her and see what would happen to the solos that were interested. 'Who knows, that manhunt sounds interesting.'
With his interest spoken and out of the way, he figured that it was time to at least get to know a little bit about the girl standing in front of him. "I'm not exactly tired, wanna grab a table and chat for a bit. If not, its perfectly fine, I just figured that we should at least get the small talk outta the way now, before the date rolls around and we end up in awkward silences." He let out a small laugh and waited for her response.

[( Figured I should actually get my arse in gear and post. Taiku will be making his exit from this thread via my post. Hi-ho, everybody~ Don't think I'll be staying longer than this one post, but I figured it's rather necessary. ^^ )] While it wasn't necessary for the slender Asian teen to 'dress up' for the night, as the girlfriend to the club's owner, she felt it so. Kira, at ease for the night, was sitting at one of the tables meant for two at the side. She was technically out of the way of a lot of the people, but still had a good view of the bar, stage, and dance floor. She had been just as excited as Taiku - if not more so, because she showed it openly - about the surprise for the night...especially considering she'd had a hand in planning it. Everything went as it should, with prizes being picked from the crowd, students from Hircine a very popular choice, as it stood. She could only recognise several, unfortunately, and it was only by word of mouth that she could place them. Leaning back in the chair, she let out a sigh, one hand resting draped across her lower stomach as she watched the proceedings with a smile on her face. Then, for just a minute or two, the smile slipped as she recognised a winner. And not just any winner, no... It was Victoria Alexander, someone she'd only personally met once. That single time was when she'd been brought to her old, small apartment in Varron at Christmas--as Kazuki's girlfriend. She'd changed, definitely, but the recognition was still there, especially between the two onstage. A spike of curiosity hit her, and the teen tilted her head as she watched them almost dance around each other like felines meeting for the first time...save for the fact neither of them hissed or bristled and arched their back. Victoria left the stage with her prize in-tow, the particularly ''rough around the edges'' Conner. Kira had, admittedly, enjoyed his banter with another prize's friends. With the arrival of the band, the remaining prizes were dismissed into the crowd, and the stage was lit up as the opening song came on, Room 21. It was Taiku, the business man tonight, and it wasn't hard to watch as he moved towards the bar, apparently enjoying the band himself. She turned her attention away from him, and back to the dancing and cheering crowd. Rocco was here tonight, along with his ''date'', their old friend Curtis... He'd apparently been made part of the family, so to speak, after their night out some time ago. They were dancing on the floor. With a grin and partial sigh, Kira looked at the table, tapping her fingernails against the paper resting on it as she took the next few minutes to work some more on an application form. Like with Taiku, work (in any form) was something that needed doing...it just stood to reason that Kira was setting herself up for more work in the coming semester at whichever College accepted her. Still, it was Valentine's Day, and work seemed boring... It wasn't long before she gave up and leaned back in her chair once more, humming along with the band and joining in with the crowd, cheering them off the stage as round two with the raffle went off. When everything was said and done, and the fact that Victoria had been lead into the back not escaping her notice, Kira stood as Taiku descended the stage, making his way back to the bar. Grabbing up her papers, she freed her table and made her way over to Rocco and Curtis, who were sitting together at another 'couple' table. ''Hey guys, enjoying yourselves?'' Kira teased, lightly smoothing her hands across the red dress she was wearing, the gathered top clinging to her slender body. Rocco merely smirked up at her, until she sat her papers down and offered her hand to him. ''Com'on, Rocco, it's time you danced with a girl for once.'' She quipped, eyes flickering to the side as she spotted Taiku moving to the back rooms. ''Tried it, didn't like it. Besides, I hear it's rather contagious and deadly if you catch it.'' His voice was deadpan, but the slightest hint of a smirk adorned his lips as he obligingly got up out of the chair. Hinder, by that time, had resumed their set and Bliss~ was being played. Easily taking control, Rocco spun her out before bringing her back in easily, and they settled their hands easily upon one another; Rocco's on her hip, and Kira's upon Rocco's arm. Settling into the rhythm and swaying to the music, they were silent for the first few minutes before Rocco spoke, bending in slightly to make the conversation a bit more private. ''Do you know who the woman was that won—''''Conner? Yes, I know her, I know what she and Kazuki used to be...'' Her tone was slightly clipped, before fading off into slight embarrassment and apology as she realized she was on the edge. It was so unlike her to interrupt, the Italian man didn't know whether to smile at the natural jealousy emanating from Kira, or frown at it and the subsequent way her tone and voice dropped as she neared the end. ''You've got nothing to worry about and you should know it.'''Should know it...yeah...' She echoed silently in her head, the slight, hesitant nodding motion of her head just barely visible, let alone felt. That was about the end of the conversation, and as the song ended, Kira found herself tipped upside down as Rocco dipped her, the wispy strands of hair that had escaped the simple twist she had her hair in lightly settling in front of her eyes as she was rightened. Walking back to the table, he nudged her slightly, causing a smile to break out on her face as she poked his side in retaliation. Leaving Rocco and Curtis with a smile and wave, Kira picked up her papers and moved over to the bar. ''Hey, Rene? Can I have a Spiced Rum and Coke..? Actually, make it a double, if you don't mind.'' The elder woman nodded, easily wading amongst the other bar staff only to return a minute later with the ordered drink, giving Kira a searching - and rather knowing - look. She didn't say anything, even when Kira procured the money to pay for the drink. She didn't have to, technically, but it was a worthy cause for the night, if anything... Drink ordered and in hand, she turned around and made her way back over to the section near the stage, settling herself on a newly freed table. She blew out a light breath and stamped down the jealousy that she had no real, plausible cause to have and forced herself to read the next line of the application form.

"You know, a look like that could change gold back into lead." Abit disheartening sure, but to get a grievance such as the one he received and not comment on it would not be in his nature or most other peoples. Still he couldn't help but chuckle abit at the thought of keeping the date entertaining. A wicked little grin coming onto his face as he spoke. "You sure about that? It seems to me that the two you were with are plenty entertaining for half this crowd. Happy Things Indeed." "At least you can use lead for something practical." That's all Valencia said, trying to appear as though she didn't hear Vince's extra comment about "happy things"... When it was all too obvious that attempted nescience is her way of avoiding things. If this was some sort of animation, she'd have a big annoyed scribble over her head. Valencia: 1. Vince: 1. She headed for the exit and once there, she expected Vince to come up with something by then. It was her way of saying... Amuse me.((OOC: Blah. Not mush else to say aside from split-thread-tyme.))

. o O ( Five people ''interested'', including myself (all of 'em guys, save for me). I need at least an even number, people. @_@ Otherwise, is anyone else that has been reading the thread interested? *coughcough* Don't make me take this to the OOC. *shakes fist* (Also, Aden, sorry for how long it took me to post in here, I was waiting on others...and I'm sorry for the shortness, too. xD) )
''A shooting range, hm? Doesn't sound bad at all. ...and a drink? Nooow I think you're talking. So, dinner and drinks, shooting range...anything else? Oh, and Man Hunt I suppose, considering it'd be free. Of course, that could be done tonight if we really wanted, but it can be just as easily done some other time, considering nobody seems to be--''
The sensation of someone tapping her shoulder had her turning around, an eyebrow raised in question as she regarded the tall Ryou, a 'former' prize. A slender smirk appeared on her lips as he expressed his interest - going so far as to say he'd gatecrash if need-be - in the game's she'd yelled out.
''Sounds good. I don't know if the game will be tonight or not... Do you have a cell phone number? Give it to me, and I'll text you when and where it'll be...er... Name please?'' Aryn pulled out her slender cell phone from her purse, quickly typing in the name and number if he so chose to give it. That done, she gave him a parting smile, unless of course he had something else to add, and turned back to Aden.
''Well, that's three people so far. Maybe I can convince Conner--where-ever the heck he is--to join in too. Maybe his ''date'' if I'm lucky. Unless you'd feel threatened by him being there?'' An eyebrow was raised, her smirk turning purely coy as she watched his reaction. Sure, she said he wasn't competing or anything, but that didn't mean anything as to what he felt towards the other teen.
