it was after school and he headed down to the library for his first day of tutoring.
before all of this he had a talk with his biology and math teacher telling him that he needs to get some help. but seeing the kind of person Ryan was he always heated getting help from other people. but his teachers weren't going to be taking that crap from him so they demanded him to go see a tutor Ryan told them that he will not be paying for a tutor, so then his biology teacher had an idea. she will ask one of her former A students to tutor Ryan and the tutor will get a butt load worth of community service credits. but now Ryan has to do this thing or else he fails both math and bio which he doesn't really want to happen.
so Ryan made his way to the back of the library and sat at one of the empty tables
he sat down with his back pack on the table and leaned back on his set and just looked up at the lights and asked "what the hell am i doing here" ryan said in a pissed off voice and closed his eyes and waited for his tutor
he started to look out side and day dream. it was a really nice day today there was not a sight of cloud so it would of been a perfect time for mountain biking or a jog... he really hated the fact that he was spending this nice day in doors

"I have a student, he's a year younger than you, and he's been struggling in both math and biology," the teacher began, crossing her arms over his chest as she stood beside her desk near the front of the biology lab. Charlotte Anders stood before the teacher, holding her binder at her side limply, listening as she talked through her free period. Her teacher had called for her to stay after the class, though what for, Charlotte had little clue. "I would like you to tutor him after school, Mondays and Wednesdays, in the library. He's not going to be paying, but we'll be giving you a few extra credits for this ... volunteer work." Ah yes. Volunteer work. That usually meant she had little choice in the matter, though giving up her Monday and Wednesday evenings wasn't the worst sort of volunteer work she had been called to do before. "You make consistant 90's in an AP course, which is partially why you were chosen for this. This student is, however, very uncooperative at times, as well as impatient and reluctant to accept help." Fantastic ..."Despite this, I think you can handle him. Any questions Miss Anders?" Charlotte shook her head simply. "Good. Tutoring will begin tomorrow, right after school in the library." With the teacher's final words, Charlotte turned and walked out with a sigh. -WEDNESDAY- Entering the library, Charlotte caught sight of the dark haired student she was to be tutoring. He was thin, but not overly so - evident in his fairly sized biceps, which could only make her guess that he worked out occasionally. However, he appeared to be lost in his own world, not even noticing the soft sound of her red Converse All-Stars upon the library floor as she moved around the table behind him, sliding her books upon the table, carefully studying the student. He was sitting reclined in his chair, eyes closed, staring up at the ceiling. Charlotte took the pen - the cap of which she had been chewing on - out of her mouth, moving to stand beside the student, and proceeded to insert the wetted end in his ear, wiggling it about to jerk him out of his daydream: an improvised wet-willie. Then, with a derisive "ahem", she stood back, hands on her hips giving him what was quite possibly the coldest and most patronising look she had ever shot anyone their way. "You can daydream on your own time," she said curtly, waiting for him to reply so the tutoring could commence.

Ryan heard a really ticked off voice a voice that sounded like it didn't want to be here in the first place. Ryan changed his view from looking at the celling to looking from the other side of the library to looking to his right. when he turned his head towards the right he saw a girl that with a pissed off face an a really annoyed one to as well, she was mainly dressed in really dark clothing and with her thin frame glasses as well first word that came to Ryan's mind "EMO" but Ryan didnt really care. Ryan made eye contact with her and looked at her with a really blank face -_-
"so you must be the tutor that ms. Taylor was talking about?" Ryan asked her with a voice that showed that he wasn't really impressed at all and that he didnt really care that she was here
"introductions aren't going to be necessary lets get this started" Ryan said in a low toned voice he went inside his messy back pack his biology bind which had basically nothing in it except binder paper. grabbed his binder pulled out some paper and a pencil and his bio book.
"well we are the chapter talking about the food web and to tell you the truth i dont even know squat about this topic so we can start from there today." Ryan said while flipping to the chapter and waited for the girls response

Charlotte shrugged nonchalanty, largely unimpressed, but willing to look past the student's uncaring attitude in lieu of finishing the tutoring session quickly.
"Ooookay," she mouthed silently, moving around and dragging a chair lightly beside the sophmore, sitting down beside him, tilting his textbook slightly towards her, affording the both of them an equal veiw. She had no intention of leaning over him to point something out, especially since she had noted him breifly eyeing what she had been wearing: a well fitting black blouse and a pair of pinstipe pants.
Sighing, she uncapped her pen, and looked towards the other student.
"Alright, "student", since I don't know your name, that's what I'll be calling you from now on. You can call me "tutor". She pointed to the page in his blank notebook.
"Let's start with what exactly a food web is. Header: Food Web." She motioned with her pen to indicate for him to start typing. "A network of connected organisms and thier eating habits, as opposed to a food chain, only showing a single, linear relationship."
She sighed.
"Now, write down these terms: autotroph, heterotroph, Trophic Levels, niche, decomposer, detritus."
Oh, the banality ... she thought.
