(It was a quiet monday morning. Still too early tog o tos chool according to my watch. As I got out of bead I walked tot he shower. After about twenty five minutes in the shair I got out and got dressed. First I put on my soxkcs and boxers. I then put on my jeans with holes in the knees and my black muscle shirt on. To follow up with that I put on my sleevless jean jacket and my blue bandana which I used to tie my very long red hair up, in a ponytail.
Walking downstairs I poured myself a cup of coffee, and prepared to read the newspaper in my dorm room. For some reason my roommate wasn't here.)
"that's odd, we usually wake up around the same time to go to school....whatever"
(I murmured to myself, only to realize after turning on the t.v. that School had already started.)
"shit"
(I exlaimed as I realized my watch had run out of batteries. God I hated mondays. Rushing out the door I made my way to the school. I was already 45 minutes late for class when i got to shcool. "Well whatever I guess I'll grab my binders and find something to do" I thought to myself as I opened my locker. I knew I couldn't be the only one having a late start on a monday morning, so something was bound to happen.)

(OOC: Bruce this is a day later from the "little devil" post. Thats what I am assuming anyways. You ran off but Antonio didnt get to talk to you really.)
Antonio spoted the guy he saved from before. He recognized him from the other day during that fight. He knew already this guy has strength beyond him. But he wanted to know who he was just because it would be nice to meet more people. But he didnt want the impression that he was stalking him or anything. The mask was scary enough sometimes. Bruce was probably going to wonder why Antonio wore a mask.
"You are that guy from the other day during that incident. Anyways I wanted to know how you were doing after that rough exchange. You almost got hit from behind from that guy you knocked back. I hope you arent late for class or anything like that. I think its break right now though."

(Hearing the words of another student I looked up from getting my books in order. It was that student from the other day. what was his name again, anthony? no, andrew? definatly not, ahhh antonio, that was his name. Hearing his words I just smiled and looked at him)
"How I am doing, just fine i've been in much worse fight then that at varron."
(I said before reaching into my pocket and pulling out a toothpick. Placing it between my lips I began to speak to him again)
"Yea, too bad he didn't get a hit in on me, then at least he would be able to say he did something worthy of recognition to me, but anyways thanks for the help back there, and yea turns out I slept through first block. Boy do I love monday mornings"
(I said the last part sarcastically)
"so if you don't mind me asking, whats with the mask? I'm fairly sure it isn't a new type of fashion statement you are setting right?"
(I asked him as I chewed on the mint flavoured toothpick)

Antonio nodded as he listened to Bruce. Bruce kind of sounded like his uncle somewhat which was cool. After all his uncle was helping his family so he is proud of that.
"Yea, too bad he didn't get a hit in on me, then at least he would be able to say he did something worthy of recognition to me, but anyways thanks for the help back there, and yea turns out I slept through first block. Boy do I love monday mornings"
Antonio responded before he asked him about the mask.
"He had a metal pipe and I had to push you out of the way. Cant believe how much damage was on my arm after that. Not even some of the guys I work with hit that hard with a pipe. Mondays are the worst day of the week. Tuesday and Friday are my favorite days of the week because I get to work and I love work."
"so if you don't mind me asking, whats with the mask? I'm fairly sure it isn't a new type of fashion statement you are setting right?"
Antonio got asked this alot. This was to be expected but a fashion statement? That might be a good idea later on if he gets famous. Antonio has a smile on his face and he says:
"No but thats a good idea though. If I get famous some day I will share some of the money from that one plan with you. I am a luchador but its kind of tough to explain but theres nobody around so I will talk about it anyways."
Antonio paused to let Bruce talk if he needed to. Then he continued.
"I am very open about the mask for a couple reasons. I dont wear it only when Im in my house. Its ok for family and friends to see who I am in my own home. But I used to live in Mexico and I got a big chance to make a name for myself in San Diego. I took it but most of my people are mad and they want to hurt my family and I because they dont want to live the way they are living. Cant blame them but they need to push themselves just like me. If they find out who I am they might just do that since they know who I am to some extent. They wont recognize me with a mask on since I used to be a luchador over there without a mask. But the company I work with understands my situation and if theres ever a mask vs mask match or anything with mask in it then I will always win. The tuesday night part is rigged like that. But friday its real. I work for two different parts of the LCFA. Same company just different jobs on two different days. But I basically fight on tv."
Antonio paused and then said
"Sorry about that though. Its just a long story. But anyways if you want to see me fight I can give any of my friends free front row access. Hey if you want to even see what I look like without a mask though you are welcome up at the family residence though anytime. I dont care if you slept over for weeks at my home to wait for me to return. We live in a mansion but its my uncles mansion. Maybe you can see it one day."

(Hearing his short story i continued to chew on the toothpick as I listened. A luchador eh, well that was something you didn't see everyday.)
"thats really cool, i used to do professional Muay Thai kickboxing back in thailand, but stopped when I moved out here. Professional fighting is quite fun i find."
(I didn't know what it was about this kid, maybe his attitude, or maybe just because he was diferent, and he didn't care whether people liked that fact he was different or not, it made me feel as if I could trust him as a friend.)
"yea i'd love to come to your uncles house sometime, even go to some of your matches it would be fun. Don't people ridicule you for your attire though?"
(I asked him as i leane dup against the lockers)

"thats really cool, i used to do professional Muay Thai kickboxing back in thailand, but stopped when I moved out here. Professional fighting is quite fun i find."
Antonio for a second thought that he was a professional as well but then he said he stopped when he had to move. Antonio didnt know that feeling. He wasnt sure if he ever would. But he could relate to Muay Thai being professional because he has heard about it. He hasnt done it before but maybe he could learn something from Bruce's experience. Antonios standup fighting wasnt great after all. He needed footwork, legs and good speed to build an offense. Without them he didnt have anything.
"yea i'd love to come to your uncles house sometime, even go to some of your matches it would be fun. Don't people ridicule you for your attire though?"
Wow he is making more friends he thought. His attire though? He hadnt really thought of it but Antonio was kind of questioned about what he wears. He had a simple of enough answer that even someone walking by could understand what he said.
"People like to point and say 'hey theres the masked bandit' or 'hey that guy is serious about his job' or something like that. Its ok with me because out here I can express myself without saying anything. When I wear this mask and these clothes some people who learn to accept others for who they are dont say 'hey hes not normal ' its more along the lines of 'hey he is different but he is still one of us, so he should be treated as an equal member of society.' basically that."
Anontio paused because he think he was boring Bruce but then he responded again
"People just arent used to seeing a teenage boy with a mask running around in public. But its not my fault. I just dont want to be seen anywhere without my mask besides inside my home. Some of my people like I said before, they dont like me because I got a chance and they didnt. Honestly I still dont blame them but you have to work for a chance like this. Some of my people do nothing and get nothing. Thats what you get for not trying."
Antonio paused again and allowed Bruce to say anything before he started talking again.
"Sure I can give you my phone number. But the first person you will speak to will definately not be me. It will probably be our butler. The butler is a nice man and if you do call he will either bring the phone up, even though I come down to get it sometimes because it might be my bosses or he will ask who is calling and send you up to my voicebox on my computer. Basically I check my computer everyday for my workplace's website and when I log in it will play the message as its loading up my computer."
Antonio looks around to see if anyone is watching and he hands Bruce a card with a number on it. He says to Bruce
"If you lose my card and you go to see "The Firefly Kid" in a match, Im usually in my room at work after a match. There will be a guard who is probably bigger than you and all bulk muscle. Just tell him 'I was sent here by A.R. The Firefly Kid' and I will tell him what you look like so if someone claims to be you and they hear this then he still wont let them in. By the way, whats your name? Mine is Antonio."

(As he handed me the card I smiled and thanked him. Hearing his words about the butler and everything I nodded)
"don't worry i know how it is with butlers and things like that."
(Then I heard his next words and nodded)
"My name is Bruce. Bruce The former reaper of varron Gills, It's a pleasure to meet you antonio"
(I said with a smile as I extended my right hand for a handshake. I was beginning to like this kid more and more. Mainly because he reminded me of my younger days, when I was different and didn't care what others thought. When I lived for the thrill of the competition of the fight. The absolute thrill of everyone watching and cheering for me)
"It must be almost overwhelming ahving all those people cheer for you"
(I said talking about from experience of my own fighting)

(OOC: Yay your back!)
"It must be almost overwhelming ahving all those people cheer for you"
Antonio thought for a second and he said
"Well honestly I like it better if more people are cheering. If its against me usually its because there are some people out there who dont like me and they gather in crowds to make me feel bad. Honestly it can get to you if you get hurt and you try to regain your breath and all you can hear is 'The firefly kid sucks' or 'My mother fights better than the firefly kid' sometimes Im almost tempted to respond but I have to stay in character. If there is some guy in front row right next to me if I am on the ground and he is booing at me I might actually acknowledge him as a person and say 'Try doing this for 1 minute. Its extremely painful.' Its actually worse if nobody is on my side. Then I feel like crap after I make my entry into the ring."
Antonio paused for a minute to let Bruce catch up then he said
"The ring is a different place than a real enivornment. People think its painful to be in the ring. I actually like to think of it as a violent playground. Its actually alot better than what I used to have to do. Sometimes in Mexico when I was little still, we would wrestle on the sand. It was usually in the 100's during the summer. In the winter we would wrestle in a abandoned gym facility and it was cold as Russia. The sand was so hot if it wasnt winter and you wouldnt want to lay down in it during a fight. You instantly got right back up after your back or even your skin touched it."
Antonio paused once more hoping this would be interesting but this next part he didnt want his friend to think that he was tortured as a kid.
"For kicks my uncle would add extremely small shards of glass and make a ring around it. If we fell we were in trouble and I was told never to fall face first because you can end up hitting your nose and then blood goes in your nose and you cant breathe. If you cant breathe then you cant wrestle at all. I was always told to fall on my back as stupid as it sounds and make sure I had a slap out incase I couldnt lock on to my opponents ankles or legs from the ground. I only fell on that glass very few times and we had boxing high shoes too. The surface was uneven and the shoes were filled weights to make it tougher for us to move and tougher for us to stand. We would wear no shirts either because we thought that if someones shirt ripped how would we grapple them? Basically thats how I was trained up until now and I liked every moment of it except landing in the glass. That actually sucked. I never want to do that part again though."
