Ahhh... looks like a good day to crack some heads. Jonas smiled as he walked into the arena, cracking his knuckles as he looked around, his new oilcloth duster flowing as he walked. Strangly enough, this whole arena looked like a backwater fight pit in New York, and, judging by the muscle at the door, it promised to be run like one. Jonas however, was prepared as he felt around in his coat for the rattan stick he kept hidden; he didn't intend to use it for the fight, but he did intend to keep away anyone who wasn't happy about losing their bets. However tough the crowd may be, Jonas was still the same person he had always been today;
Half Zen, half crazy, and all business.
Jonas quickly pulled his duster off, careful to keep the rattan stick hidden, and threw it beside the arena. Wearing his customary running gear, which consisted of a set of long, black pants, a shirt that bore the dogma of his old school in NYC, and a customary set of hand wraps, Jonas began to stretch out his legs and throw a few punches into the air, smiling a little bit.
Let's start this party.

ooc: Two hours after deadline is still good I hope.
Felix had been running later than usual. Quickly pulling up to the small parking lot he'd found outside the arena for the tourny. "Better get in there quick and not make the crowd wait." He clammed his car door shut and locked it, turning and jogging into the building.
Making his way towards the ring, he saw his opponent standing there already. He assumed that it was his first match, as he didn't see anyone else inside the ring. He looked down at his own aparel for the night. 'Baggy jeans with a tight fitting shirt. Should be good enough.' He frowned when he saw he had his sneakers on. He'd have to work on replacing them as soon as possible.
He looked to his opponent, 'Kinda young, not out of shape at all either. Looks like I'm in for a match if ever.' He entered the fighting space and nodded to his opponent. 'Names after, let's just beat this kid and get to the next match.' Felix started to stretch his legs and arms as best he could without delaying a bit more.
"Whenever your ready, we can finally start this whole thing," Felix spoke with a smile. He had a lot of pent up energy to use. He quickly set up in his fighting stance, feet spread and squared to the ground, his shoulders set back and his arms loose. "Let's see what ya got." As he beckoned his opponent to attack first.

Jonas looked out at his opponent as he entered the ring, upon which he breathed a sigh of relief; Jonas was not looking forward to fighting anyone like Tiao in his first match. In a sense, not knowing his opponent brought him a lot more comfort than knowing about him.
"Whenever your ready, we can finally start this whole thing,"
"buono*." Jonas muttered as he pulled himself into a fighting stance. As soon as he had his right leg forward in his stance, he moved in toward his opponent. As soon as he had closed the distance enough, Jonas quickly switched his feet, putting his left leg forward, and turned his body into a fierce Muay Thai style round kick, aimed straight for his opponent's gut.
*Good; Italian OOC: Sorry it's short, but it's an initial attack, and I don't have much to work with.

Felix was waiting for an open move such as this, though he couldn't place the style or technique. Watching his opponent swing out he wondered if the smaller framed individual realized that a gut kick would have to land perfectly in order to wind or otherwise try to slow Felix down.
As his opponent had rushed him Felix brought his arms in slightly, and was ready to use both of his hands, open palmed, to recieve the incoming kick and to push it away again to Felix's left. The move had left his hands stinging slightly. 'Not bad but it needs a little more 'kick' if it's going to bring me down,' he smiled to himself.
Felix had a second to himself, not seeing another incoming attack, he moved into place, lunging forward with his left leg sliding it all the way underneath Jonas and to his outside, twisting to his right a bit. It was a move he pulled off on many opponents, and Felix felt at home with it. Before he had a chance to move, Felix shot his left arm around him and grabbed a hold of his midsection. Quickly yanking his arm attached to Jonas, he twisted his upper body to the right and pulled Jonas down onto the ground hard in a half body slam. His open palm planted Jonas firmly to the floor an also applied pressure as his body impacted.
'Might as well just finish this off now.' Felix grimaced as his left leg found solid purchase and he brought his right arm up and balled his fist, getting ready to slam it into Jonas's cheek and jaw. 'Hate to go for the quick kill. If he's good enough he'll slip away.'

C'mon, already on the ground?
Jonas acknowledged the obvious situation as his body hit the mat of the arena. He was expecting this, however; from his short time at Hircine, Jonas had learned that no one goes down with just one kick. Suddenly his opponent threw a fist straight down at his head, a definite fight-stopper if it connected.
However, Jonas wouldn't let that happen.
As soon as he saw the fist come down, Jonas's Zen reflex kicked in, causing him to throw a right handed block at the fist. However, this was not designed to block the force, but rather to divert the attack into something Jonas could use. As he felt the fist slide along the outside of his forearm, Jonas grabbed his opponent's wrist and yanked it to the ground. In addition to stopping the attack, Jonas used the downward force of his pull to compliment the upward force of his left arm, which allowed Jonas to slip his hand over his opponent's right elbow around behind his opponent's trapped arm, where he grabbed his own right elbow, effectively trapping the arm.
Now was the fun part. Jonas fell backward, pulling down, which was against the elbow joint. Jonas made sure to throw his body down fast, hopefully to snap the joint in one quick move, rather than have it drawn out.

Wow, there's really barely anything for me to work off of here. You both really took it easy with posting. My judges vote is for Felix, but it was close. I could of seen this be a pretty good match if you both were more active.

I personally thought Jonas had this fight, but you both did pretty well.

Felix.
It was close, but seeing the words 'Zen reflex' just put it in one direction.
