Felix had been late last time, and so as such, he wasn't surprised to see himself walk into an empty ring. 'Good, at least now I'm not going to be cutting it close.'He looked down at his own clothing for tonight, he changed his previous shirt to another of the same snugness around his body and the same jeans and sneakers as his first fight. He looked at the crowd, already roaring with anticipation. "The sorry bastards that come to watch this for the violence do need serious help."
In his own past he watched some of the more serious fights, but it wasn't for the violence. He never cheered, nor booed. He watched to see who would win, and who would go home with the worst injuries. "Well, I should stretch." It hadn't bothered him that he talked to himself, if anything it should bother any other person he met.
He started by strechting his legs and lower body, twisting gently at the waistline and rotating his shoulders and working his arms last. He moved his head around in a slow fashion, making sure everything was easy and there would no 'tough' transitions. Feeling okay and fit to fight, he jumped a little to loosen himself and then stood there, waiting to see his opponent.

Dante ran to the tournament building in a fast jog. He was wearing a tight, black t-shirt, and black sweatpants, and some tennis shoes. Earlier, when he was in Rebbeca's old place, he didn't even want to stare with love-filled eyes at his old lover ane his' picture on the wall. As much as he wanted to, he knew that he couldn't bare looking at it without crying. He NEEDED to get the the tournament building, and he NEEDED to find something to release all these feelings...
As he entered, the scrawny man with the clipboard was there. He looked up nervously, sweat on his brow. Probably because the room was so stuffy. "G-good thing you aren't late now, sir." He piped up.
Dante smirked, "Yeah, I guess it is a 'good thing', isn't it," He said in a mocking tone as he walked by him. Then he heard the man mutter, "I hate this job, babysitting all of these stupid teenagers who always threaten to kick my ass..."
Dante grinned as he turned around, and the man gulped. He kicked off his shoes and flung them at him. "Tell me," Dante said, "Who am I fighting?"
The man caught the shoes and stuttered, "A, a man named Felix, sir..."
"Thanks," Dante replied as he neared the ring, "Maybe I won't 'kick your ass' after all..." He got to the ring, and saw Felix there. Dante smiled as he hopped inside the ring. Felix... He thought, why does that name seem so familiar? Then his eyes opened widely. He remembered.
He remembered Raven talking about him before. He was her old boyfreind before he left her, just leaving a note behind. Well, Dante thought maliciously, I guess I'll just kick his ass for me AND for Raven...
Then he grinned and said, "Hey, my name is Dante, and I already know that you're Felix. Now, how about I let you try to attack me first." Dante said as he got into a fighting stance. Both his hands were in front of him, and he hopped lightly from foot to foot to gain momentum.

He watched his opponent, Dante, as he would soon learn, walk into the ring. Felix was slightly shocked to find out that Dante had knew him, if only by name. 'Of course, it could just be that he asked one of the staff around here. But then again, how many of them are that friendly.' Felix didn't really know, and the more he thought about it, didn't care at all that Dante knew his name previous to their meeting.
"Well then if the formalities are out of the way, I'd like to say that your being too kind at letting me strike first." Felix looked him up and down, 'Slightly shorter, a smaller build as well, even if it is muscle. A lot of small competitors in this tourny.' Felix knew though, that size meant next to nothing. 'And I don't know his fighting style, too many students have adapted their own ways and created their own techniques to get a real reading on someones particular style.' He sighed outwardly.
Darting forward to quickly gain momentum, he felt his left foot hit the ground once, twice, three times before he planted it down and twisted his body to the left and leaning back as he snapped his right leg out towards Dante's chest. His speed wouldn't keep him balanced for long as his body weight at a quick run would keep him propelled forward, his right leg, after finding Dante's chest, would fall to the ground and his legs would be parted by at least four feet of room.

OOC: I'm assuming that since you're landing on one foot and spinning while attempting a high kick, that it's a roundhouse kick, please correct me if I'm wrong
Dante rolled his eyes in a showy way as Felix seemed to take forever to 'analyze' Dante. It really didn't take much of a second glance to figure Dante out. He was a smaller fighter who relied on speed and manueverability, and probably couldn't take one too many hits. Not too complicated...
As Felix darted forward, Dante smiled, Finally, he thought exasperatedely. Dante had to admit that Felix was pretty fast, but he could probably beat it. As Felix attempted a slight roundhouse kick towards Dante, he smirked once again.
Dante already had some momentum, and the fact that his arms were out since he was in a boxing position helped greatly. He simply planted his feet after stepping forward a little, keeping his weight on his right leg, the leg he stepped forward on, and attempted to wrap his right arm around Felix's leg when it came to him.
There was nothing Felix could do. He was already kicking out, so he couldn't change direction, or even move his leg out of the way, due to his momentum. He had no balance whatsoever, he couldn't even move.
If he caught it, then he would pull Felix in by his leg, which would make him even more balance. Which he basically had none of anyway. Then he would step forward again, and send a fist straight towards Felix, aimed straight to smash his face in.
Felix couldn't block it, attack back, or virtually do anything back at Dante because again, he was off balance. This is really going to hurt... Dante thought maliciously.

He felt the solid connection and for a quick second thought he had landed his kick. He quickly realized he was standing on one leg, Dante holding on to his right leg. 'Well you can't always land the first hit.'
It hadn't take Dante long to enact his assault, yanking Felix's right leg towards him. As soon as Felix felt the shift in his body, he quickly brought his left leg up from the ground to fit it nicely next to his right, so now both of his feet were in the air, with his body plummeting to the ground at an alarming rate. He shot his left arm out to try and cushion his fall, with little success.
His body slammed into the ground, a sharp pain resonating throughout his arm as he looked up. His left leg was slowly falling to the ground and he spotted his next opening. 'Grab hold of this,' his mind yelled out and he bent his left leg and snapped it straight out towards Dante's right knee cap. When it connected, Felix would then have better use of his right leg, and it would no longer be within Dante's arm, pending that Dante held onto it for this long. It would also bring Dante much pain and take him down as well.
If Dante chose to jump or shift his stance back, or give up his footing for even a split second, Felix would yank his leg back down towards him, pulling Dante to the ground where Felix would quickly grab a hold of the smaller fighter and roll on top of him. Pinning him to the ground to start a barrage of close range punches to the upper body and face.
'And then I will have the upper hand, being the bigger fighter. I just have to get him close enough to slam him.' He felt no remorse for Dante seeing as how he was just as eager to get down to business.

OOC: So you know, editing your post is illegal (I probably sound like a dick, but I'm just saying...) IC: As Felix started to move his left leg up so that he could fall down, Dante let go of Felix's right leg. A slight pleasure went through Dante's body seeing Felix's facial distortion as he hit the ground. Then his eyes opened widely as he saw that Felix started to move his left leg towards Dante's right kneecap. Dante wasn't holding on to Felix's leg anymore, so nothing really prevented him from moving. He put all of his weight on his left leg, and pivoted to the left so that he was on Felix's right side. He was facing Felix, so from then, he would just stomp down hard on Felix's right ribcage/kidney area. Felix's leg was already out, so he couldn't roll out of the way. And it would all happen too quickly for Felix simply to pull his leg back in and roll, and rolling was basically the only possible way to dodge this. And Dante's attack would be too strong (because all of Dante's weight would be in the attack) for Felix to either block or grab. Even if Felix did block it, he would be in very serious danger of having his arm broken, and his torso would still hurt. A bit of his old self, the one that Rebecca loved, tried to think, No, this is going to hurt him too much. And it's a dirty trick at that...Dante ignored this bit of concious he had left and continued the attack...

ooc: Then I shall post till I get disqualified. And further more, just because I snapped out with a kick, doesnt mean I can't use my arms nor use my upper body strength to roll myself over.
ic: Felix knew he couldn't spend any more of this match lying on the ground. Split seconds later and he no longer felt the pressure of Dante's arm around his leg and he got his opportunity to right himself. Quicky leaning over to the right side of his body, he looked up and saw that Dante had pivoted and readied his leg to slam down. 'Tough break kid,' he thought as he quickly threw the left side of his body out and to his left, quickly regaining his balance as he felt his right knee lock in place, both of his palms flat on the hard ground.
He spared no time in bringing his left leg back into place, putting his left foot firmly on the ground and then stared maliciously at Dante. 'No more messing around.' Dante was just four feet away or so, Felix's roll was just enough to get him out of Dante's kick. He stayed at his kneel, trying to catch his breath, and readying himself for Dante's next attack.
'I keep slipping away from him, he must be getting frustrated by now. Even though he doesn't show it.' He still felt the dull throb in his arm and he shook it out a little, not recieving any sharp stabs of pain. 'Always a good sign, not too damaged that it's not useable anymore.' He watched Dante closely and smiled. "You're pretty good. I can only imagine what attack I'm going to weasel my way out of next." And with that he laughed for a brief period, his eyes wide open. He wouldn't give Dante the chance to catch him off guard again.

OOC: First of all, I'm sorry if I offended you, I really was simply trying to get you from getting in trouble. And if you did 'roll' while your leg was out, it would be extremely slow, extremely unbalanced, and extremely uneffective.
Also, if we need to further communicate, let's do it through PM Please.
IC:
"You're pretty good. I can only imagine what attack I'm going to weasel my way out of next."
Dante smirked, a little annoyed, "Well, you're persistent, I'll give you that much..." He said in a teasing tone, which was strange comparing the tone to the fact that he was trying to beat Felix down into a burnt black spot in the middle of the ring.
Dante breathed in through his nostrils, absorbing as much atmosphere as he could, and then he breathed out out through his mouth. He needed to calm down You can't win simply by being angry, Dante thought, getting more calm, You need to be able to think clearly.
He analyzed the situation for a split second, Well, he seems to be getting through simply by dodging all of my attacks. He's going to waste all of his energy doing that, and soon slow down, so if I simply constrict my energy into attacks that won't take any effort on my part, but will involve him moving, I'll have the advantage!
He smiled as he ran through his somewhat-wet hair, so it wouldn't mat down to his head. Then he jumped from foot to foot with short, concise hops to again gain momentum, then he quickly darted to Felix's right side.
There, he made quick, mediocre jabs towards Felix. After each jab, he immediately pulled back so that Felix wouldn't have time to grab his fists. Each jab, while not taking up a lot of energy, would probably be enough to bruise Felix's arm. The move wasn't meant to hurt Felix, as much as to take up more of his energy.
He stepped back slightly with his left leg, so that if anything got out of control, that he could simply jump back.

Felix had started to stand up as Dante spoke to him, a big smile acroos Felix's face. He mentally went over the minor injuries he had done to himself, shaking his left arm again. The dull throb had persisted so far but as far as he could tell he had full range of movement with it.
'Not too bad, but I've got to end this now.' He watched as Dante darted to the right side of his body, but Felix had already brought up his arms and was quick to block the first of his jabs open palmed. It stung and he closed it, choosing to use his forearm to block the other consistant jabs, shadowing Dante's jabs with his own arm and stepping back each time a jab came forward. Doing so would do two things; it would require Dante to move up to keep in distance and if Dante didn't fully extend, his jab would never strike Felix with enough force to do lasting damage.
He let Dante continue jabbing, his arm had begun to throb in three distinct places. 'Two more jabs now, he thought to himself. As soon as the second jab, left handed flew at him Felix charged forward, knocking the jab out and away from him and he caught Dante's left arm with his own left hand, his grip tightening around the base of the upper arm, just above the elbow joint.
Without missing a beat, he yanked Dante towards him while sliding his right hand under Dante's left armpit, completing his hold on him. Squeezing hard with both of his hands, he yanked out once again with his left arm bringing Dante within a foot of him and nothing but his left arm to strike back with. "Glad we could have met."
Using most of his strength, he lifted Dante by his armpit. Yanking down and to the left, twisting his body as he did so. With his left arm, Felix threw Dante to the ground hard, following through to make sure he couldn't right himself before the fall. If it were successful, Dante's right arm would connect with the ground in two places, the elbow and then upper shoudler, as his body weight would crash down around him.
Watching from his now bent over stance, his arms still extended out in front of him as he didn't bring them back to his body when he let go of Dante. 'Now let's see what he does.'

You've both gotten alot better from when I remember. In the end, Dante wins.
For the record though, I have no problem with edits as long as its not a large gap of time inbetween.
