Dressed in black wind pants, a black muscle shirt, and white sneakers Victor walked towards the arena. He remembered this place from last time he had entered the underground tournament. Last time his first match had gone only fairly well because he had been arrogant and his second match had gone terribly, mostly because he had been savagely outclassed and partially because he had been using techniques that were too showy. Well not this time. He had been training hard and had worked the mistakes out. It was time to redeem himself.
The crowd was silent. He didn't care. His eyes were set firmly on his opponent, a wiry looking young man wearing black and gray clothing. His hair was long, though not quite as long as Victor's own. His opponent had sort of a cocky atmosphere about him. It was just a hunch, but Victor's hunches tended to be correct. But then again...
Victor stepped into the ring and cracked his neck a few times. He then took a deep breath and stepped forward. He did not raise up his fists or go into any sort of stance. He knew that by staying in a neutral stance, his opponent would not be able to guess what he would do, giving him a mild edge. True, it was only a slight one, but in combat one took everything they could get.
"May the best fighter win." Victor said briefly. With that, he waited. He would let Vince come to him to see how he fought.

Vince had hitched a ride with Ein, relying on his Leader's experience and knowledge to get abit of an edge in the ring, as well as the directions for getting to the place. He could only frown when the Leader of Genaht didn't give him much in the way of knowledge, instead offering abit of cryptic advice.
"You don't need to win, just try to kill him and bloody him up enough that he'll almost be guaranteed to lose the next round. That will be enough to prove your worth to everyone."
Vince was pondering the words as he would step into the ring. His eyes and mind would read the man infront of him, similar height, similar weight. Likely close in terms of fighting, Vince would remove his shirt at that point. He would need all the advantages he could get, and it certainly wasn't a bad idea for the few ladies in the crowd to get a shot of the mildly muscled body. Though he would leave the Genaht Armband on, it was something that was rarely removed.
His eyes would meet his opponents as the other man spoke. A small smirk playing across his face as he quipped quickly in response.
"So, you're forfeiting?"
The smirk would remain on Vince's face, a stark contrast to the deadly serious eyes that were focused on his opponents. The Genaht member would fall into an almost boxer's stance, very similar to Ein's. Left shoulder slightly leading, both fist raised with the left slightly lower. Vince would be waiting at the center of the ring.

"So, you're forfeiting?"
Victor ignored that comment. Vince was clearly an arrogant pendejo. A real fighter didn't taunt his opponent. He simply fought with all his might and accepted his victory or defeat gracefully. Vince clearly didn't know that. He would learn that the hard way soon enough.
Keeping his stance neutral, Victor began to walk toward Vince, circling around him while getting closer to him. He wouldn't get too close to him or suddenly stop however. He would simply circle around him at a regular pace, not bobbing around or anything, and study him. If he bobbed around or went into a defensive posture, Vince would be able to anticipate him more easily. So it was best to just keep his stance neutral while circling him.
Victor noticed Vince had a band of some kind on his arm. It wasn't the kind you could just get anywhere. This one was clearly custom made. Was he a gang member of some kind? The Hand of Fate used tattoos, not armbands, so he wasn't with Kvist. Who was he with?
"Don't taunt me, boy. Just fight." Victor said nonchalantly. Ready to attack, Victor slid forward toward Vince and snapped two quick jabs at him, first with his leading left arm aiming at his face to get him to guard high, then a reverse punch with his right hand at Vince's stomach once he raised his guard. Basic, yes, but Victor was only testing his opponent. Once he knew how his opponent operated, he would really fight.
OOC: Pendejo is Spanish for stupid or idiot.

Vince watched the man as he circled, keeping his guard up and making sure he was always facing his foe. He wasn't too worried about the neutral pose of the man, it simply meant he was trying to cover himself. To Vince it didn't make much sense, they were in a ring to fight and trying to hide your style wasn't an excessive advantage.
It's not like anyone had to guess if you were going to attack.
If anything it was a benefit to Vince. He had the time to watch his opponent raise his arms and for the first strike to be thrown. Vince's left hand would quickly swat the left handed jab of his opponent away, hopefully knocking it out to his opponents side.
Reguardless Vince would quickly slide to his right, sending a hard right fist to his opponents left shoulder. The blow wasn't dangerous, but if one had ever played any version of the game "dead arms" they'd know that repeated blows to the shoulder could significantly slow punches.
Vince would catch the glancing blow of his opponent while simultaneously throwing his own. It wouldn't be a spectacular hit, but it was enough to show Vince his opponent wasn't a complete noob. That and it certainly made his heart jump abit.
Vince would slide a step back after throwing his punch, preferring to play hit and run. Though it was yet to be determined if he would go offensive with it.
"I wasn't taunting, just asking the question."
Of course that answer was easily belied by the smug smirk he would give after speaking.

Victor was disappointed. He could already tell from the way the boy moved and fought he was some sort of self taught street fighter. He had fair speed and strength, but not much else. He was jabbing at Victor's shoulder instead of somewhere more vulnerable, he was more swinging rather than snapping, and he was arrogant enough to think such a technique could catch him by surprise. This was going to be a boring match.
"Well, if he's going to be that way, I guess I might as well finish it quickly." Victor mentally sighed. There was no sense toying with your opponent in a tournament.
Vince knocked the left jab away and stepped to the side, swinging his right fist at Victor's shoulder while using his other hand to catch Victor's reverse punch. As it came, Victor withdrew his hand and slid slightly backwards as Vince's right fist looped past him. Using that snake like speed of his, Victor reached out with his left hand and snatched Vince's wrist in his steely grip. Vince was strong, but street fighting could only take you so far. It was a shame.
The match was practically over already. The moment Victor grabbed Vince's wrist, he pulled it toward him while using his right hand to deliver a devastating close range palm strike to Vince's elbow joint. The combined force of Victor's palm strike with the fact his other hand was pulling Vince's arm into it would snap his opponent's arm like a brittle twig. Unless Vince knew magic of some sort, this match was already over.

OOC: Side note, Vince's left hand isn't occupied with trying to grab the second punch. If you actually read my post you'll see that I take it as a glancing blow.
Vince was somewhat surprised at the sudden shift of movement, the glancing blow that he had recieved would be exceedingly weak as his opponent would shift from a forward moving punch to the blatantly obvious motions of reversing direction.
And that was something that would be easy to capitalize on.
Vince would thrust his right foot forward, right behind his opponent's leg as the other man took the step back. It was certainly a move to put Vince himself off balance but he would be in the better position, with both the pre-emptive knowledge and the ability to catch himself.
If the move went atleast roughly as planned, Vince would half fall and half stumble back away from his oppnent. A less than graceful thing, but it still put him in the most dominate position as his opponent would likely be falling onto his back.
There would be a smug smirk if the attack was successful. He wouldn't be able to help it while looking at the man flat on his arse on the canvas.

Victor's attack didn't quite go as planned as Vince stuck out his leg behind Victor's own in an attempt to trip him. It worked and Victor lost his balance. He began to fall. "Not bad." Victor thought. "But not good enough. Guess I'll just have to turn it to my advantage." As Victor began to fall, he arched his back like a bow and extended his arms behind him. As he landed, he raised his legs up and performed a quick back flip, quickly coming to his feet again. He had been careful to make the back flip a small one so as not to lose distance with his opponent. He hated having to use fancy moves like that, but it was the only way in that case. Vince had half stepped, half stumbled away and was trying to regain his balance and Victor was in perfect range with him. With one quick sliding motion, Victor closed the distance and launched a foutte kick at Vince's ribcage. It was predictable, so Victor would immediately follow it would a jumping reverse kick at Vince's face. What made the Savate styled reverse kick different was that unlike other martial art styles which required the practitioner to turn around completely before launching a straight kick, the Savate style only required a half turn, giving Victor's opponent much less time to react. OOC: Fouette is a Savate roundhouse kick making contact with the instep of the shoe. And here's the image of the second kick if you're a bit confused on how it would appear: athleticscholarships.net/savate.jpg

OOC: STOP! Judge time! Well, now that I've gotten that out of my system, let's get to business. I have received complaints of godmoding from Vince due to the improbability of your counters and occasionally blatant ignorance of his own actions. Upon reviewing this fight, I have found myself agreeing with him. Ignoring the first counter as Vince chose to let it slide, I must say that you would require eyes in the back of your legs to have even a chance of somehow dodging that trip. Ask the other judges and you will find they agree with me. *bangs gavel*
I rule that Vince's move is successful. I will monitor this thread to make sure no further modding occurs. If I receive more complaints, Victor will be disqualified.

OOC: Because you didn't state, I'm assuming both kicks are made with the same Right foot as that's what it appears to be.
Vince had very nearly regained his balance by the time his opponent was on him again. The guy was pretty lucky to backflip the way he did, he was pretty sure most Master's couldn't pull that one off, let alone a High School kid.
The kick wasn't anything too out of the ordinary, but Vince only had the split second to drop into a kneel and throw up his Left arm braced in the middle by his right at an angle. It didn't do much to lessen the force of the kick, but it did divert the kick up slightly upwards and keep the worst of it away from anything vital.
With the first kick diverted, there was a pivotal split second where Vince had to react. His opponent was recovering from one kick and likely preparing for another. It was in that split second that Vince would both react and reflect on what he had been told by Ein earlier.
"You don't need to win, just try to kill him and bloody him up..."
Vince's legs would power him upwards, while his right fist would be swung full force at his opponent's kidney. He didn't need to win this fight, he was going to go by Ein's words, but that didn't mean he didn't want to. That didn't mean he wasn't going to try to win.
And a blow like that if successful, might just make Victor feel like someone was trying to kill him.

Victor spun around to deliver the second kick, but before he could, a roundhouse punch cracked against his side, sending pain up his body. Okay, so Vince had some tricks up his sleeve. Big f***ing deal. A little pain wasn't so bad. He could deal with it.
Victor remembered an old lesson he had once heard somewhere. He couldn't remember the specific words, but the lesson stated that although one should not intentionally do it, sometimes one had to take a hit in order to give one back. Vince had managed to hit him in the side-he had probably been aiming for his kidneys, which had been missed because Victor had been in mid-spin-but maybe Victor could use this to his advantage.
These thoughts passed through his mind in under a second.
Willing himself to continue the spin, Victor slid forward with adder speed and snatched out at Vince's exposed right arm with both hands, aiming expertly for the vital spots on the arm, specifically the biceps and the forearm muscle. Once he got hold of those, he would use his steel like grip to clamp down, even using his fingernails, to lock Vince's arm.
With that said and done, Victor would lift Vince's arm up and deliver and chasse kick to Vince's right knee with his left leg. Immediately after that, he would use his grip on Vince's arm to perform an army style yanking maneuver to dislocate Vince's arm from his shoulder.
OOC: Chasse is the Savate version of a side thrust kick.

OOC: Same here. I was thinking on DQing Victor for his constant modding and reality warping, but I decided not to. Vince advances.
