Joey walked the halls in his black t-shirt and black basketball shorts, his usual aura of confidence brimming from his body. School has just ended and he was headed toward his locker, making his way through the very large school.
'Another cookie cutter, boring day.' he thought to himself sadly. Ever since the Hand of Fate had broken up his life had taken a turn for the worse. He had become quite accustomed to living life with the excitement of being in the gang and it wasn't easy for him to break the habit so suddenly. Even in Varron, before he had joined the gang, he had commited very much crime. It was just his way of life, being brought up as poor as he was.
'I blame myself' he thought, thinking about how boring his life had become over the last couple of weeks. It really wasn't that he had been completely cut off from still commiting crimes once the gang broke up, he had just decided to see what life would be like with violence and near death experiences out of it. After all, he finally was making a living for himself and he didn't really need to steal anymore. He had actually hoped that if this worked out, he could turn it into a permanent thing and go legit. He laughed at the thought, but still a part of him felt like he needed to make up for all the evil he had done in his life and that maybe changing now would do something to reconcile for it all. Part of what allowed him to keep up with this less exciting lifestyle was being in Hircine. Back in Varron, avoiding a fight for more than a day was its own battle, and in the end violence was an easier solution than anything else.
Reaching his locker, he opened it and stuffed his bag inside. He wasn't one to take his schoolwork home with him. His philosophy was that he could cheat through his tests in high school to pass, so simple homeworks no longer mattered.
He chuckled a little bit as he closed his locker. 'This goody-goody stuff is gonna take some effort.'

Andrew made his way from his last class with a slight slumped stature as he walked. An almost subdued aura seemed to come from him. His dark blue shirt and dirty blue jeans seemed to make him look even more dim as he passed through the throng of students eager to get out of this hellhole now that school was out. His hair as always was an unkempt mess but he didn't care. Not like there was much he could do with it anyway. The day had just seemed to move in slow motion, every second seemed to last minutes, minutes lasted hours. As for classes.... Well he could have sworn English class lasted two years today. It had just been one of those days.
He couldn't help but ponder this question though. 'Was there such a thing as a short day at school?' He couldn't recall in recent memory. Every day would be the same thing day in and day out if he didn't insist on spicing things up himself. After all failure to take action leaves only yourself to blame. Today had been exceptionally dull. Class was slow and he wasn't able to find a good time to skip or anything to do if he could. He had three tests today and he was sure he bombed on at least two of them. If it wasn't for Drama class he probably would have gone crazy today and screamed. But even that wasn't enough to add a bounce in to his normally quick step. He would need to add a little spice himself. Besides the end of the school day didn't mean the end of the day.
He would stop in front of the dull Grey locker letting out a small sigh as he picked up the lock and started to fiddle with the combination trying to open the locker. But the day just wasn't ready to let up quite yet and he couldn't open it. Combination after combination he tried and it still wouldn't open. He hated these stupid things sometimes. They were just a pain in the ass. His fist would come up and slam in to the locker hard in frustration. He hated locker problems. Almost as much as someone that couldn't take a joke. People just needed to learn how to laugh at themselves sometimes. Everyone was just so uptight. He would turn around and lean against the locker letting out another sigh as he considered just forgetting it and heading out to find something else to do.

Joey raised his right eyebrow as he glanced over at the boy a few lockers to his right that apprently was having trouble with his locker, as made obvious by his pounding on it. 'I mind as well start this being nice thing sooner instead of later.' he thought to himself, jumping at the opportunity to help someone that had just presented itself.
Walking over to the meek looking boy, Joey gestured toward the locker in a fashion that would ask if it was alright to help. Without waiting for a reply, he would slam the lock into the side of the locker, denting the locker a little bit but making the lock pop unlocked.
"You unlocked it, it just needed to get raddled for the lock to pop out." Joey said, smiling kindly.
He felt somewhat satisfied with himself for being able to help, even in this small case. 'Maybe this being a good person thing isn't so bad as its cut out to be.' he thought.
"My name's J.T." he said, still smiling.

He grinned when the other boy came and unlocked the locker for him. Or at least finished the job. Now there was a reason that he was having trouble with the lock. The fact was it wasn't his locker. And that would become apparent when he opened to locker to anyone that cared to look. Unless of course you thought that he was the type of guy to have pictures of cute guys hanging up in his locker with hearts around the faces of some of them. Not to mention the fact that there was a purse, two types of lotion, and hand sanitizer in it. His hand would reach in and take out the hand sanitizer before slamming the locker shut.
When he turned to face his little helper he would smile and extend his hand for a shake. He was friendly enough and this guy just helped him with his problem of having nothing at all to do. In a moment his aura had seemed to change from subdued to one with a purpose. Not a constructive purpose but a purpose all the same.
"Names Andrew. Thanks a ton for your help. Sometimes these lockers can be a pain."
He would pause for a moment in consideration on whether or not to let him in on what he had planned. After a brief mental debate he figured he would extend the invitation.
"Hey, you wanna see something cool?"
The way his tone made it seem it was clear he really didn't care all too much if the kid chose to come with him or not. He was offering to show him something. He didn't need him to come. It was more of a reward for helping out. Either way Andrew would bounce slightly where he stood eager to get this show on the road. He wasn't even done with the prep yet and was eager to finish up.
One thing to note though would be that he never made eye contact with the kid. Not once. Instead he looked at him but at the same time he was looking beyond him. Mostly he just didn't like to give anything his full attention unless he had too. Besides he liked to see what was coming. A smart thing to do with how the students had been since the transfer. If knowledge was power he wanted to know enough to have an escape route if needed.

It seemed that in the busy and noisy halls filled to the brim of students heading this way and that, the after school rush to see who could get the best seat on the bus.. one small silent pocket remained. Her black hair hung to her shoulder, blue eyes that rivaled the winter sky for color, pale skin, and strong firm legs from running. Her name was Raven, and she was as shy and as quiet as could be, she hadn't really warmed up to many people here at school except two. J.T. and Kruzy, though Kruzy had graduated and she never saw him at school.
The crowds seemed to bump and jostle the young girl but she didn't seem to mind it was the normal way of things now. Raven broke out of the crowd at the wall of lockers and she blushed, rather deeply at the sight of J.T. She hadn't seen him really outside of Physics class in some time since the day he had taken her to the bakery to get that job. She smiled softly at him as she stood between the two boys, her locker between them, only one away from J.T., it was how they had met on her first day in this school.
"I.. got the job." she said softly as her locker opened with no trouble and she placed her books into the bottom taking out her water bottle and a brown paper sack that she slid into her duffel after wrestling it out of the small confines of her locker. "So, I wanted to say thanks."
She looked over at J.T. and blushed again putting her bag over her shoulder, she had a long walk home unless Kruzy was out front to surprise her with a ride. But if she remembered correctly he had to work today so she wasn't sure. She closed her locker softly and messed with the dial resetting it.
"I haven't gotten a chance to talk to you in a long time, it's good to see you again." she said with a blush. "But I am interupting something, forgive me." She turned to the other boy that had been talking to J.T.
"I"m sorry, please, forgive me." she said and bowed her head a little turning completely intending to take off unless J.T stopped her to talk to her for a moment. They had almost had something once, and he still sent shivers through her when he was close by but she figured that she didn't do the same.. but maybe she was wrong. Only he could tell her. But she was dating someone now.

(OOC- wow, raven of all people shows up in my thread. The person i left hanging when i went inactive. Apparently I'm just that irresistible ;D)
Joey's smile faded slightly as Andrew opened the locker to reveal a cornucopia of feminine items. As the boy took the hand sanitizer and was about to close the locker, Joey put his arm out and grabbed the locker door before it closed shut. "This is your locker, right?" he asked, unassumingly. For all he knew this boy could have been a homosexual or something, and he didn't want to pass judgment before he knew what was going on.
Just then, Raven walked by and opened her locker, telling him that she had gotten her job at the bakery. As she turned to leave, Joey softly tapped her shoulder. He knew it had been awhile since they had talked and he felt like catching up. Lately he had been flirting more often with girls and his feelings for Raven had faded slightly, but he still would enjoy her company.
"This is Andrew." He said to Raven as she turned around. He figured it was a slip of luck that made her see him in the hallway today. If Andrew ended up being strange than he hoped she would make it a less awkward experience talking to him.

Andrew had a slight moment of puzzlement when the kid now known as J.T. asked him if it was his locker. He didn't think he looked like a homosexual and thus it was obviously not his locker. Not that getting in to someone's locker was that big of a deal in a school like this. At least not in his humble opinion. He was about to say something witty about how it was obviously not his locker but his words would never leave his mouth. It was at this time that a girl around his age showed up and took a place between them interrupting them and ignoring him. Which irritated him slightly. Not that he expected any special treatment because frankly he didn't know her. But he would have at least liked to have had a "sorry to interrupt" or something. After all that was just good manners, at least in Andrew's book.
And what they seemed to talk about was the normal boring teenage stuff. Hardly worth paying attention too. Instead Andrew just found himself gripping the hand sanitizer a bit tighter as he looked past them at the random people walking one place or another. And he was just about to leave them since they were not holding his interest at all when she turned around to face him. Apparently she had realized she had been rude and offered an apology to him and bowed his head. Another one of those things that he had never really understood. Why bow? It wasn't really an American thing.... Whatever to each their own. After all why key a car? Why pull the fire alarm? You did what made you happy.
"It's cool."
He didn't make any motion to stop her himself when she turned to leave. Frankly he didn't care one way or another if she came or went. If she stayed maybe it would mean one more person to see his little plan for a momentary distraction. Or maybe they wouldn't be interested and he would just go on his way. J.T. Did stop her though and not only that introduced them. So much for giving him the chance to do that. Whatever.
"Nice to meet you.... So... I was asking J.T. here if he wanted to see something cool. Did you wanna tag along too? Just thought I would offer. It's cool if you don't wanna I understand. But you are welcome."
Yeah he wasn't even gonna touch on the subject of the locker. That was done and past and he just wanted to get this show on the road. He still needed to pick up a few things. Not that it would be that big of a deal. They could grab it on the way. And if they were not interested. Then he could grab it on the way. He was gonna do this regardless of an audience.

Raven felt the tap on her shoulder and her blush deepened as her blue eyes darted up to JT. It seemed that he really didn't want her to go and a soft smile crossed her face. Since the first day of their mutual physics class talking during class was something that got you beaten and falling asleep got you beaten enough to get sent to the nurses office. So they really didn't have time to talk and hopefully JT and herself would be able to talk a bit more today get reacquainted and maybe grab a cup of coffee or something. She smiled gently at him and nodded as he introduced Andrew.
"Hi, my name is Raven, it's a pleasure to meet you." she said to the boy named Andrew that stood there with hand santizer in his hand.
The boy seemed to want to include Raven in whatever it was he and JT were about to do. It had been so long since she had really gotten to hang out with JT one on one that she was willing to do just about anything. She wasn't sure if they were off to cause mischeif but great thing about being on the track team was that she could run, and she could run fast.
"Sure, I'll come along." she said with a soft smile. Raven was from Russia originally and her accent was something that she carried with her. She blushed softly and looked over at JT. "How have you been?" she asked. Figuring she might as well make a bit of conversation while they waited for Andrew to show them where they were going.

"I've been fine." Joey said, looking down at her as he followed Andrew. "How about you?"
He didn't really know what to think of Andrew. He had let go of the locker issue after being sidetracked by Raven. Besides, he figured that whoever's locker in was wouldn't miss hand sanitizer very much anyway. But still, he wasn't going to trust this boy just yet. He didn't need someone guiding him into trouble now of all times, when he has been trying to avoid it so badly.
"Where are we going?" he asked Andrew as he began to become weary of this follow the leader game he was playing, especially with the trust problems he was having.
He looked back at Raven and smiled a little bit. She was pretty and sweet, but he wasn't sure about whether he would want to try to get with her or not anymore. Besides, he had heard about her and Kruzy through the grapevine of the city and he wasnt sure that his feelings for her were strong enough to fight for at this point.
"So what do they have you doin at the bakery?" he asked her, making small talk while they waited to see what 'cool' thing they were being led to.

"To the courtyard after I pick one more thing up."
But it was on the way anyways. As they all made their way to the courtyard it was no surprise that they passed by the Janitor's closet. You know the room with mops, and buckets, and cleaning supplies. And thankfully it was open so he wouldn't have to find a janitor to borrow on for a "science" project. Or some other believable lie that he might have come up with.
"One second."
Without hesitation he would walk in to the closet glancing around until he found what he needed. Grabbing a bucket he would take it over to the sink that the Janitor's used to fill up buckets when they were going to mop the floor. Once the bucket was a little over half full he would emerge once more with his hand sanitizer in one hand and a visibly heavy bucket of water in the other. But he was done now. They just had to go to the courtyard and then fun time.
"OK ready. Lets go."
And without waiting to see if they followed him or not he would on his way to the courtyard once again. Though it wouldn't be a very long journey. He wasn't paying much attention to what they were saying as he walked either. Really it was just boring small talk that he honestly couldn't care less about. He was more then happy to leave them to their flirting or catching up or whatever the hell you wanted to call it.
When they reached the doors to the courtyard Andrew would use his body to push open the doors and he would stand there keeping it open for both Raven and J.T. That is if they chose to come with him. If they did and if they went through the door he would go out in to the courtyard a ways and set the bucket down grinning widely. This was going to be a ton of fun.
He wasn't too worried about getting caught. If it happened it happened but since school was over most of the students were gone, eager to leave school when they got the chance. Naturally not everyone was gone but a good chunk of them were. And at the moment at least he didn't see any teachers or staff around that would give him any trouble. It looked like he was all set.
"You guys ready?"

Raven smiled softly it was nice to be able to talk to JT again, he was a really nice guy and if she had been a bit more forward earlier it might have ended up differently. But she was seeing Kruzy now and he was such a nice guy he treated her so specially she enjoyed going home every day to see him.
"I've been good." she answered his question as they walked side by side following Andrew she was curious as to where in the world they were going.
She watched the people as they seemed to part around Andrew and his groupies that were following him. Maybe it was something in his face or maybe it was just the confidence he carried that made him so visible to others where she seemed to be completely invisible when walking through the halls. Though being from Varron originally being invisible here was a good thing it didn't bring attention to her so it was allright. They stopped by the janitors office and Raven looked up at JT when he asked his question.
"You don't know either? What.. is the bucket for?" she whispered to him watching Andrew gathering his supplies. This.. didn't look good.
JT asked her about the bakery and she smiled. She loved her job and was completely grateful to JT for helping her get it. Though he mainly just told her about it and went with her to fill out the application still she was happy there.
"I love that job, I really do. I am usually in the back doing a lot of the baking though sometimes I have to put on this uniform and work the counter. You should come by sometime, during my night shifts I work the counter so I could get you something for free you know, if you ever were hungry. It's boring at night, so any company would be welcome." she said softly with a smile as she let her eyes look over to him she blushed and turned her eyes back to where they were going.
She paused just inside the doors that led to the courtyard. She took JT's hand just to pause him with her, for no other reason than that and once she had his attention she dropped his hand quickly.
"What.. do you think we're doing.. out there.. I.. I'm not sure.. I want to.. go." she said looking up at hm she bit her lower lip in nervousness. Raven was about as good and as pure as it got, she really wasn't one for hurting others or having fun at other people's expense.

Joey looked at the boy strangely as he emerged from the janitor's closet with a bucket filled half way in his hands. As Andrew began brushing by the people who were remaining in the hallway on his way to the courtyard, Joey gave Raven a suspicious glance before slowly following the boy.
"Yeah I'll definately try to come by some time." Joey replied when Raven encouraged him to stop by the bakery.
As the trio reached the door to the courtyard, Raven stopped and grabbed Joey's hand for a second. She then quietly explained to him that she didnt want to go with Andrew and that she wanted to leave.
"Yeah I don't really trust him either." he said in a hushed voice. "How about I walk you to the front door?"
With this, he smiled sweetly and led her away from the courtyard area. He didn't want a part of this either, especially when getting physical with Andrew was a possibility if his idea of "cool'' went to far. The last thing he needed was Raven seeing his violent side right now.
(OOC- apologies for the slowness)

Well Andrew had started to get used to the idea of having a little audience for his little stunt and he was a bit disappointed when he saw that the two other kids chose not to follow him. Well he was completely fine doing this without them. But it would be even more fun to scare them with it. Besides he had promised a show he had better deliver. Though he would regret that the bucket was now pointless. It would have made things safer. Oh well, what was life without risks? He would open the hand sanitizer and start rubbing it on his hand making sure to get a decent amount of it on his hand before reaching in to his pocket with his non covered hand and pulling out a small lighter. Clasping the lighter in his hand he would start to jog up to J.T. and the girl Raven that had chosen to 'not get involved'. Shame they didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Sure you could argue there was always a choice. But he wasn't leaving them with much of one.
When he got close to them he would slow down so he wouldn't disturb them... At least not yet. Flicking on his lighter he would bring it to his hand which would then catch on fire as the hand sanitizer burned. Now believe it or not this actually will not hurt Andrew as the fire will only burn the surface area of the hand sanitizer as it acts as an insulator. Think of it like the stuff stunt men use when they are put on fire. Only this is much easier to make and also pretty crude. But it works. He would have about a good 20 or so seconds until his hand would start to feel warm from the flame and then he would need to put it out, but for now he was free to have fun.
Now believe it or not Andrew does participate in Drama club and has even worked on some of the school plays. Add that with his mother's experience in theater as well as the fact that she would help him from time to time he wasn't a bad actor. He was no George Clooney but he wasn't terrible. He was certainly skilled enough for this.
"AHHHHHHH HELP! I'M on FIRE!!!"
He would start to run around and run in front of J.T. and Raven flailing his hand about in an almost comical manner as he ran around in a fashion reminiscent to Leeroy Jenkins. Only instead of pissing off a bunch of nerds behind a computer he was most likely pissing off a few high school kids. That or freaking them out. This would continue for about 20 or so seconds before he would dive down on to the ground to smother the fire with his body and dirt effectively putting it out.
He was tempted to grin but kept his face buried so that no one would be able to see that he was indeed grinning at this. That was a ton of fun, and to be honest he wanted to do it again. He would definitely do it again some other time at the very least. but right now he didn't want to let them know that he was fine... at least just yet.

Raven smiled softly as Joey offered to walk her to the front she nodded softly wondering if Kruzy would be there. She wouldn't mind if he was she enjoyed it when he surprised her with little things like coming to see her at work, or picking her up from school, coming to see her at lunch time. It was kind of nice sometimes having a boyfriend that had graduated already because that meant she was surprised when he did come for her. It made her feel special. As they walked Raven thought about things, JT was a nice guy and someone she considered a friend he was very nice to her and she liked that he didn't seem to think she was weak even though she really was.
"So what have you been up to lately JT?" she asked curiously. Turning her blue eyes back over to him. "We have't really.."
She was cut off by someone running in front of them and screaming. What she saw made her stop in her tracks the boy they had been with moments ago was.. litterall on fire. He was screaming and she didn't know what to do. She could only just stand there in shock. Her eyes were wide and following the guy as he finally moved falling to the ground and rolling around putting out the fire. It was then that Raven moved she ran over to him and knelt beside him getting out her small first aide kit that she had with her at all times, she had used it on JT once. She pulled his hand up.. just in time to see that there was nothing wrong with it. She looked at him.
"But I.. don't understand.. it was on fire.. but there.. is nothing wrong.." she whispered as she just sat there in even more shock now than before.

(OOC- : Joey was happy to get away from Andrew. The boy had mischief in his eyes, something Joey was not at all in the mood for. Besides, he was more interested in catching up with Raven right now anyway and Andrew was only getting in the way. Just as Raven began to speak, Joey heard someone from behind them screaming something about fire. Before he could even turn around he saw Andrew running around with both of his hands aflame. "How did that happen??" Joey asked, acting a little more panicked than he actually felt. In reality, he was quite sure that Andrew wasn't in as much pain as he made it seem. His time in the Hand had given him plenty of time to study the sound of true screaming and this was far from it. As Andrew stopped his yelling and ran to put the fire out, Joey slowly began approaching the boy. Though he kept an overall straight face as to not scare Raven, if one was to look deep into his eyes they would see the violent glint of his inner killer staring back them them. "Don't help him." He instructed Raven quietly but with a hint of authority. She had rushed to Andrew's aid unaware of the boy's game. As he neared Andrew, he peacefully motioned Raven away from that area, trying to avoid eye contact due to his knowledge that she wouldn't like what she saw if she looked into his two burning orbs. "I'll take care of him, Raven" He said assuringly, still motioning for her to continue walking in the other direction."....I know what to do." (OOC- not exactly finished but i had to do something so i couldn't get it all in. I think this is sufficient to continue off though, but sorry anyway.)

OOC: Sorry for the slowness been busy D=
IC: Well Andrew was happy it worked. Not so much for the scaring them part though. No he was mostly happy that he was right and the fire didn't burn his hand. Ask anyone that was always a plus. He would grin when Raven looked at him in bewilderment. Well of course he was going to explain it to her. He wasn't a complete asshole. Well most of the time. Besides it was just a bit of fun.
"This was what I wanted to show you. Basically think of the stuff that stunt men do when they are lit on fire in a movie. Cool huh."
He was full on grinning now. Though that was wiped away when J.T. said not to help him. He would pick himself up as he approached him. He would still have a small grin but it wasn't the same light hearted one as a few moments ago.
"Well someone has their panties in a bunch. Dude you need to chill out before you give yourself an ulcer."
And then he told Raven he would 'take care of him' motioning for her to leave them. It was too much for Andrew. He HAD to comment on this.
"Oh I see what it is. I light myself on fire and to compensate for you wetting yourself out of fear you need to beat me up and send her away so she doesn't see the piss stain? Is that right? Whatever dude you need to grow up."
Was it wise to taunt the kid. Probably not. Did he care? Not really. The guy really needed to learn how to take a joke. After all no one was hurt and nothing was destroyed. In a school like this that is better then some walks down the hall. But hey, whats a school without the mindless brutes that can't settle things with words and instead go straight to violence. Well if he was set on violence he would just run. Not a big deal. He was more of a lover then a fighter anyways.

Raven froze. Andrew's hand was still in her own as she looked at it, sure enough there really was nothing wrong with it. But Joey was telling her to move away from Andrew that he was going to take care of him. Raven looked up at the boy before her attention was returned to Andrew as he explained what he had done and what he wanted to show her. She offered him a gentle smile and nodded gently letting go of his hand now that it wasn't harmed and she stood up she didn't have a reason to be here. She was about to bid them goodbye when Andrew began provoking Joey and she looked up at Joey, she hadn't left yet and she gently took his hand.
"Well, it was a nice trick, I just.. wish I had known ahead of time." she said softly. "Though.. I probably would have tried to stop you."
She turned to Joey and smiled softly nodding gently she squeezed his hand gently and began to walk away hoping with her hand in his he would follow.
"We haven't gotten to catch up yet, I'd like to do that. I have some of those brownies that you like, come on, we can walk a bit." she said softly to him as she led him past Andrew giving the pyro boy a small wave hoping that JT wouldn't step up the bait and fight Andrew instead he would follow her out.

Joey smiled at Andrew with maniacal eyes. He knew what his nature told him to do to someone who openly insulted him like that. It was quite simply amoung his most practiced reactions, he had gone through the drill of beating people to a pulp many times in his past and this was no different.
....Except this time WAS different. Just as Joey finished estimating just how many pieces he was going to tear Andrew into, Raven grabbed his hand and began to pull him in the opposite direction. Her touch giving him tingles in his hand. Joey turned his head toward her slightly, putting on his best sweet face as he did so as to not frighten her.
Looking into her eyes for only a moment was all that he needed to change his mind. Suddenly his body became calm and collected, much to the contrast of his last stance. "Ok, let's go." he said, his head foggy as he looked into her beautiful eyes.
'What is this?' he thought to himself. 'I've never calmed down like this before. Is it her?'
He allowed her to lead him away from the boy and back into the school.

((OOC: Don't worry about it, that stuff happens and the post was fine ))
Raven smiled at him softly as he decided to come with her. She left her hand in his gently since he didn't seem to mind it there and she liked it herself. Besides, if it was going to keep him from hurting Andrew or getting hurt himself then she was going to leave it there untiil she felt it was more safe to remove it. So as they walked hand in hand down the hallway she smiled because it was nice to be reunited with her friend for once.
"We never really got to get reaquainted." she said softy tucking her black hair behind her left ear. "We were interupted by a flaming hand as I recal." she chuckled softly. She had always been comfortable around J.T. ever since the first day they had met in physics when he had made her feel better after a teacher had beaten a student. She had trusted him.
"So what have you been up to, Joey?" she asked softly as they walked the halls. Raven was in no hurry she didn't have work today and Kruzy she didn't think was picking her up so a walk and a conversation with JT was something she definatly wouldn't mind at all.
"We haven't gotten to talk in so long I"m not sure where to start." she chuckled a little nervously as she looked over at Jt. "I see your eye healed allright, guess that first aid did the trick." she smiled before looking back to the front.

Joey smiled when Raven began to speak. He couldn't have thought of a single other person who would have been capable of suppressing his rage the way she did back there. "Not too much." he began in reply to her inquiry on what he's been up to. "I've been working really hard on my grades and keeping my head above water with this whole moving from Varron thing. Ya know, I figured that I'd be use to it by now but for some reason I still haven't gotten a grip on life on the west coast yet."
He laughed at the mention of his eye. He wasn't one to scar easily so it took a very small amount of time for any of his cuts to heal up. "I guess your a miracle worker." he joked with a hint of courteous sarcasm.
As they continued to walk, Joey turned his head to look back for any sign of Andrew. There was none and so he went back to walking, deciding to forget about the boy.
"So..." he began, smiling widely in embarrassment about what he was about to ask. "Do you actually have those brownies I like or was that just a ploy to get me away from that boy?"
