Dissapointed One word, a word that summed up Zeniro's attitude towards Kyu. Other people would have been impressed with his showing, and the showing of the young woman he was facing off against. To those who were merely spectators to violence what these two had gone through would be highly undersirable. Zeniro was viewing it quite simply as childs play...there was a lack of...a lack of animalistic hatred, a lack of killer instint to those blows. Zeniro's body had tensed multiple times during the bout as he could almost feel a finishing move coming. Much to the beasts dismay each fighter in his opinion had seemed to have eased the pace...surely it couldn't have been because they had not seen it.
Once Kyu had Aryn down on the matt with him after a move that just radiated high impact and disorientation. He thought that he would end it...he was sure of it. Then no, Zeniro was brimming with rage at this point, he had thoughts of grabbing a chair and hurling it into the ring at the two fighters such was his distaste for the mercy that they seemed to be showing one and other. They were hitting each other, they were fighting to win, but they were not fihgting as if their life depended on it. Something that Zeniro could not understand. Shaking his head he looked to the side, earlier a man had posed a question to him which he had ignored out right such was his hungry fascination with the combat in the ring.
"Kyukaku...someone I intend to show the meaning of fighting one day."

There was an advantage to being low to the ground as she kicked, and though her leg hit his, she didn't set it down. Instead, it acted as a counter-weight as her upper body moved in the opposite direction, hovering over the floor. This would undoubtedly cause Kyukaku to have to move farther; perhaps overextend himself, in attempt to make the hit. The hit itself was diverted by her almost drunken motion, not hitting its intended spot, but hitting her nonetheless. Balanced precariously on one knee as she was, the hit caused Aryn to tumble backwards, yet she had enough wit to carry on with the motion and - a roll or two later - get to her feet.
Her hands throbbed slightly still, having taken the brunt of the impact as she hadn't bent them to let her wrists take the hit. Panting, she flicked her head to the side, annoyed at the loose tendrils of hair. Her legs were splayed slightly, evening out her weight a little until she shuffled to bring them closer together. She reached up to wipe the sweat from her brow, a large inhalation of breath to steady the nerves that throbbed inside of her. The adrenaline rush did it's part to take away the pain, her body buzzing with pent up energy.
The question was, how was she supposed to gain an advantage over an opponent that seemed to have every advantage over her already? Attempting to tire him out was a small possibility, providing she didn't do the same to herself at the same time. Still, her back to one of the corner turnbelts, she heaved a sigh. Her world came back into full focus, as though she had a second wind. A short glance back had her noting the distance between her and the corner; enough to move freely enough, even when her opponent was closing in on her.
"Next move's on you, Kyu-hun." She called out, offering a short wink. She stood there, assuming no stance for the moment, merely having her left foot a half-step behind her right, her body set on that slight tilt. Make him to all the work, evade, and wear him down. Perhaps if she could, she might be able to land a few good blows. Still, even then, there was no guarantee she could wear her opponent down...but damned if she wasn't going to try.

Kyu's short jab wouldn't seem to cover the distance, thanks to yet another last ditch effort on Aryn's part. She had thrown her body wildly back, causing Kyu to stretch farther. In most cases, a person would naturally lean in with a punch, making up for distance and power by over extension. However, through muscle memory Kyukaku always snapped his attacks back in most cases. With a bit more torque from the hip and allowing the arm to straighten almost completely, Kyukaku still hit Aryn, though directly in the stomach this time. Not as effective as he would of liked, but likely still enough to hurt Aryn's abdominal muscles.
Still managing grace, Aryn was able to continue into a roll and land on her feet. Kyu's arms naturally fell back to his side as he easily stood up from his kneeling position just as quickly and with less energy. He sent a quick side glance towards Zeniro, letting the maori know that he was still keeping tabs on him though he tried not to let the man's presence sway his fight by either distracting him nor being sent into an animalistic frenzy.
Aryn called out to him, signalling that she wanted him to come at her. She'd been on the receiving end of this fight, and Kyu was surprised to see her so eager to continue despite how her body had to be feeling at this point. If Kyu was in her position, he would of tried to prolong the moment a bit more, allowing more time for stamina recovery. Then again, in all likelihood Kyu had done this sort of thing much more often than his opponent.
Kyukaku strode towards Aryn at a normal pace, also providing no stance. The second he was in striking distance, his left foot planted forward. Kyu's left arm snapped out from his side in a quick backhand jab, the knuckles aiming for the bridge of Aryn's nose. While not a very powerful hit, it was a very quick and precise one. It snapped at the elbow, providing a whip like motion that was capable of breaking the cartilage if left unhindered.

The meaning of fighting...
Well, from the brief glances Will had made to the student, he was fairly certain that whatever the case, he was not talking about Queensbury rules and honourable methods. As it were, it had taken him long enough to answer the question, having been so drawn into the fight down in the ring that it were very much as if he'd spaced out. Of course, he'd kept his attention on the ring himself, thinking it more convenient to at least keep tabs on how Aryn was doing than to sit and directly expect the answer to his remark.
"The meaning of it..."
A faint smirk crossed his lips at the concept, and whilst he didn't so much speak to the youth at his side, he did mutter it aloud to himself. "Win, regardless o' the means 'r cost..."
He cared little of the reaction, but something suggested that the two shared at least a similar prospect on combat, and Will remained fixed onto the match regardless of the other youths remark, watching with interest as his companion fought against an opponent at least semi-worthy...
'Fuckin' waste him, Aryn...'

If Aryn had learned anything from this round, it was that Kyukaku struck hard and fast. The only problem now was figuring out just what he was going to do. While the anticipation of his move had been building, she took a deep breath in attempt to relax. Otherwise, she was sure she'd be bouncing on her toes as he drew nearer. As she was prone to, Aryn was set on allowing her instincts to do a fair portion of her reflex-thinking for her. Whether her instincts had her moving quickly enough was another story altogether, but she'd been fairly lucky so far.
She'd taken note of the way he'd glanced out of the ring, still finding the tingle of excitement at the thought of 'Mr. Tall, Darn and Intense' coming into the ring and starting something. Even though Aryn knew she'd be in no shape to even attempt any sort of ass-kickery, the prospect of it happening added excitement. Still, she hadn't glanced over to see Will there, which would have only doubled the excitement. An all-out brawl in the ring? Sounded like a twist worthy of being spoken about. Besides, if what Kyu said about him was true, no little whistle-blow would make him stop and leave the ring.
When his left foot had taken that final step to bring him well into range to hit her, Aryn knew he could do any number of things, but was at least betting on a punch, if not a kick. Ducking seemed to be the best option to go with for the moment, and sank as quickly as she could, crouching at her knees. Her hands were held at her chest now, both for balance and for positioning in what she was about to do. The dull throb on her scalp told her she'd at least taken a grazing hit to her head; her movements not quite quick enough to fully evade Kyu's whip-like punch.
As soon as his arm started to spring back, Aryn sprang up, straightening her left arm, fingers curling into a half-fist as she used the heel of her palm in an uppercut to his jaw, putting some muscle behind the move. Her right hand, though she didn't want to leave herself open a bit of chance had to be taken, whipped out to just above his hip, clasping his side a moment so that if her strike hit, he'd most likely be tilting his head back. It left room for her to attempt to throw her weight against him at the same time, hopefully downing her opponent and sending her to land on top of him.

From the beginning Aryn had been moving in rather unorthodox ways. He had expected the girl to simply move back in his attack, though her actions wouldn't come as that much of a shock to Kyukaku. He grazed the top of her head, consequently not getting the push off for a quick snap back as if he would of hit something solid.
Aryn stood back up, sending a palm strike at the same time. With his free right arm, Kyu was able to push the back of his right hand against her wrist, sending it off to the outside. Aryn's other arm went to Kyu's side, causing him to also instantly react. Kyu circled his already raised left arm over Aryn's right arm, wrenching it close to his body. His elbow would bend right around Aryn's, pinning it against his side. This would put some strain on her shoulder and elbow, though mainly used to hold her arm in place.
Continuing the small motion of his right hand, he would create a small circle, sending his right palm in a short, but direct palm strike very similiar to Aryn's aimed for the underside of her chin. With both hands occupied, and almost no time to react Kyu was confident that this could be a fight ender, as he doubted Aryn could continue to take this many hits. Still, he was glad instinct sent him to strike the chin rather than her nose.
At least this way she'd stay pretty.
