Kyousuke had passed through the first round with only a warm up and an eye opener. He realized during the fight that, although his fighting style itself was very destructive and agressive, he had made the mistake of building upon counter attacks and defense. Or more precisely he had become too comfortable with them. To the point where he didn't press the attack, attack first, or even go for the more damaging blows. It was a disappointing revelation.
Luckily enough he had discovered this in the first fight and not the second. Because from the mumbles from the crowd he'd be in more than a bit of trouble. But the whispers were to jumbled and smashed together to get anything serious out of it. Other than the fact it would be difficult the way he had been fighting in the last match. Or perhaps impossible. But as it stood he had as good a chance as anyone. He had warmed up and he had woken up.
Standing in the ring, bouncing on the balls of his feet every few moments, his hands resting on the ropes. Squeezing and releasing slowly. It was hard to keep the body lucid before a match when you had no idea who your opponent was. And the distracting anger he had felt in the last fight had dissipated a good bit. Wither it would be renewed or not was something Kyousuke was currently trying to plan his way through. Mapping opening moves and counters in his mind to make theme easier to think of during the fight. The fight would be starting soon, and the adrenaline began to push through him again as the jeering became louder from outside the ring.

Even though Kyukaku's previous opponent had shown potential for a challenge, Kyu hadn't gotten much of one. His victory felt empty, and while it was good to progress to the next round feeling no fatigue or injury from such a short fight some part of him wished he would be feeling that, nothing else gave him quite the rush a good fight did.
Kyukaku had taken off the top of his gi, for the short bits of grappling last round had caused minor chafing on his shoulder. There was a visible red line, but it didn't hurt. Really, it would of just been annoying with an itchy shoulder all through this round. Kyu remained in his old white gi pants, headband, and black obi. He was going to remove the gloves as well, but he hadn't found tape soon enough, and without something on his hands he just felt...well, naked. So as a last minute decision he put the gloves back on, heading out to the ring to meet his next opponent.
Being recognized as not only a quick round ender but a former runner up champ the crowd welcomed Kyukaku. He wasn't sure if he welcomed the attention or not, all he knew was that it felt awkward, and out of place for him. He brushed it off, casually entering the ring as he placed both palms together in front of him, flexing his fingers and wrists to each direction as he stretched his neck from side to side. He extended his left fist for good sportsmanship, offering his usual good luck before he took up his usual loose karate stance in the middle of the ring.
"First move is yours, if you want it."

Kyousuke turned to look at the entering opponent as the crowd welcomed Kyukaku warmly. A faint frown managed to work it's way onto his face, and the expression was deep enough to make his head feel a tad heavier. Frustration and disappointments seemed to follow him. It's not that his opponent looked weak. It's that it looked like he had already been injured in his last fight, as the red line made evident. Kyousuke could only hope it wasn't going to be restrictive for his opponent. As much as he wanted to beat someone into the ground he also realized quite easily that it would just result in the match ending abruptly as it did last time.
Kyousuke would wait until his opponent stepped into the ring before he turned to face him, and made his way to the middle of the ring slowly. For whatever reason this one didn't frustrate him quite as much, as it seemed he was merely showing sportsmanship and not trying to be annoyingly friendly. "I hope that mark won't be interfering with my enjoyment. I don't want this to end too quickly. You don't seem as foolish as my last opponent, so I'll assume you understand what I am saying easily enough." His voice was a bit distant, and he was not moving to shake his opponents hand in favor for staying a respectful distance away and staring into the opponents eyes.
As his opponent set into his stance so did Kyousuke. In rare form Kyousuke set his stance as well. His left foot forward and his right foot back, his body leaning a bit forward. "How to begin.. Yes, I think they'll do well enough." With both of them in stance it would work the best, it was one of those rare favorite moves Kyousuke learned that worked well against a opponent who took stance. His left foot shuffled forward, closing the gap enough that he could reach with a punch. His left arm swiped out and then up, his opponent would more than likely assume he was about to make a shot to the body.
However this was merely a distraction to get his guard to drop, as the blow would end short, and then Kyousuke's right hip would turn, his right palm would circle out from his own body and up the moment after his left arm stopped. While his palm was circling up his right foot would turn along with his hip, hook his foot firmly behind the opponents front foot, and move to slam his palm into Kyukaku's face. If this struck Kyousuke would continue to turn his hip from left to right, and throw the opponent into the ground viciously with the attack. Or at the very least throw him back and far off balance to give him another opening to exploit.

Kyukaku raised his brow, a small smirk making its way to his face as if he knew a joke Kyo didn't. "Yeah, no need to worry about me."
So he kind of comes off as a dick. Well, that's good. I won't feel as bad when I take him out of the tournament. I have to go on to meet Dain and Adam, its just too bad you got to me first.
Kyukaku's smile faded as he set into stance, carefully watching Kyosuke as he did the same. It didn't take long until Kyosuke leapt forward, intent on fooling Kyukaku with a feint. Kyukaku did indeed believe it was a real blow, but unfortunately for Kyo, not a very good one. A strike with the arm rarely had any power unless the shoulder and hips were used accordingly. The fact that Kyosuke had not turned his hips for the intital strike caused Kyukaku's guard to remain, where he had planned to deflect the blow with his elbow.
Not quite surprised, Kyukaku was able to remain on guard for the real attack. Kyu moved with his opponent, sliding his left foot back even as he felt leverage against his own right foot. He brought up his left hand in a small counter clockwise sem-circle, blocking the inside of Kyo's wrist with the edge of the hand. The second impact was made, Kyu's hand tightened over the wrist, continuing its forward momentum as he pulled.
Simultaneously, Kyukaku's right arm would sake underneath Kyo's right armpit, using it as a leverage point as he knocked his hips into Kyo's. Now off balance, Kyukaku would continue Kyo's momentum, hurling him over him in a Judo shoulder throw. Where Kyo once planned to trip Kyu up, resulted in assisting Kyukaku. With both hands out, and his own balance taken away in more than one spot, Kyukaku was able to easily add to the momentum. Although the set up seemed complex, they were all small movements and capable within mere moments. Kyosuke would slam directly on his back, likely winding him in the process.

OOC: I apologize for no forward movement, I am just having a small bout of writers block.
Kyousuke saw that, unfortunately enough for him, the guard had not dropped as he had wanted it to. So as the palm he had intended to come up and smack hard into his opponents face was easily intercepted with a wrist to the edge of his hand. Somehow the initial impact changed into a grasp, and instantly Kyousuke's mind was focused solely on breaking the grasp. Jerking the blow to a stop took too much time, enough to let his right arm to be put out of commission for the moment as well as the momentum was continued, and he felt his hip being slammed into. Although not damaging, it did make him feel like he was losing his footing.
There was only one thing his mind could think of doing as his balance left completely, and began to rise over his opponents shoulder. Make it as damaging to him as humanly possible. His right harm still grasped, he was forced to use his left. His left arm drifted down, and viciously gripped into Kyukaku's hair. It would be risky for Kyousuke's arm, as it could hurt his arm if Kyukaku somehow would manage to not fall, and not have his hair ripped out. But either way Kyousuke would fall flat on his back, grunting a quick curse as the impact faded and his eyes opened and looked above him to his opponent."This will be interesting. But I was hoping for a brawler."

The shoulder throw was a success, the echo of the impact resounding in the area. It seemed this one was a dirty fighter, as Kyukaku suddenly felt his hair being tugged down. As he did with most motions, Kyu went with the hair pull. He bent his left leg, kneeling down on his right.
As the right knee would go down, it would smack Kyosuke in the chin, turning his head to his left. He would just be coming out of the initial slam and opening his eyes, most likely unable to ever react even if he saw it ahead of time since both arms were occupied. The left grabbed Kyukaku's hair, and Kyu hugged his arms tightly over the arm already in his grasp, preventing it from ever leaving his possesion.
Sliding in motion with the strike to the chin, the area just below Kyu's right knee would rest upon the exposed neck of Kyosuke, particularly on the jugular. At the same time, Kyu would pull back on the right arm of Kyosuke, beginning to add the pressure that would result in hyperextension. Between Kyu's body weight and the extra pull, it wouldn't take long for Kyosuke to pass out. He had the handhold on his hair, but since Kyukaku lowered himself down Kyo's leverage was considerably less. It was a matter of who could last longer, and the fact that Kyukaku would still have blood flow to his brain insured that it would be him by a longshot.
"Tap!" Kyukaku shouted, giving his opponent a chance to call it quits before he ended up passing out and injuring his shoulder.

Kyousuke could feel that his grip caught, pulling his opponent down, but not as sharply as he would have hoped. Somehow he had managed to stop any actual impact from occurring, probably just dropping his weight with the grip. As his eyes opened the opponents downward movement had already stopped, and Kyousuke kept his grip firm for the moment, even as he felt a blow smack into his chin.
It was then that he noticed a serious problem. In this situation a problem more serious than being on his back, having taken a blow to the chin, it was quite serious. Above him there were two opponents. Overlapping each other. By the looks of it one had smacked him in the chin with his knee, and the other was holding his right arm by hugging it firmly between masses of muscle, before the two drifted closer together. Kyousuke had turned his head with the blow to avoid a full impact, and one eye was looking up at his opponent as he felt pressure on his neck.
Kyousuke made a quick cough to clear his throat, unintentionally showing those outside the ring a falls sense of his weakness, and then carefully turned his neck. Releasing the pressure that Kyukaku was trying to apply to the jugular in favor for the side of his larynx. Which in all it's glory shifted enough away that it only made him feel like he needed to swallow strongly. The pain derived from the fact the bastards knee was digging into nerves that made him want to torque his neck and bite a chunk out of Kyukaku just to have something to release the pressure.
His vision began to congeal back together, and the rage he had felt at the thought of his injury faded into realize. Despite the pain that was starting to build a bit in his shoulder and neck, he was quite pleased with his situation. At least compared to how most others would take such a situation. "Why would I?" Kyousuke managed to cough as he judged his situation carefully. He could hurt his neck pretty badly, but he had a good chance of getting away if he was intent on using a submission hold. First step, he rid himself of a blood choke. Second, he needed to play with Kyukaku's mind as he positioned himself for one of two ways to break out of the sizable pressure on his neck.
"If you try to dislocate my shoulder, I'm going to have my neck back because you don't have the brute strength to pull it out of the socket without moving yourself backwards." Kyousuke was disgusted with his own voice. It didn't sound verbally weak, or mentally unsound, but it was rasped and coming out in a near wheeze with the pressure. "If you air choke me, there's a good chance you'll crush my trachea. Willing to take the chance?" While he spoke Kyousuke would be carefully moving his legs, pulling them closer to his body and then placing the soles of his feet to the mat to give himself leverage.
If Kyukaku so much as blinked at his statement, showed any signs of being jarred by it in the least, Kyousuke would quickly jerk Kyukaku's head down and closer to him. At the same time he would push off with his feet, tense his stomach to aid int he movement, and see if he could produce a knee to Kyukaku's head. A very dangerous movement, but one would need to consider he already had Kyukaku's weight on his neck, at the very least the chances were that this would at least change Kyukaku's focus. And if Kyousuke's knee couldn't get close enough, he'd send all the momentum in a whip like motion through his leg and surely catch him with the top of his foot to the top of Kyukaku's head or shoulder.

(OOC: Not as long, but I don't have as much to do.)
Kyukaku's moves went unhindered, as the knee struck the chin and the leg finished sliding into place upon the jugular. As Kyosuke would try to turn his neck, he'd find it impossible. Kyo would strain with his neck muscles, but they would never be enough to roll Kyu's body weight off an already established pressure.
"That's it tough guy. Just keep talking."
Kyu was a disciplined fighter, not just in body but in mind as well. He was focused on finishing the fight, and nothing Kyo could say would break that focus as Kyu blocked him out. The more Kyo talked, the more energy it would take out of him, only making Kyu's job easier.
Beginning to twist the arm counterclockwise, Kyukaku would put even more strain on the shoulder as well as adding more power to pull. The way the arm would twist would insure the shoulder not to be popped out cleanly, and would therefore reinsure that Kyo would pass out before that would happen. Kyu began to press harder down on his knee, and in a few short moments Kyo would fall unconcious if he did not tap out.

OOC: If Kyousuke passes out after this go ahead and give him a good slap to wake him up, I have some duologue to use if you so desire. Win or lose it was an important thing to happen for Kyousuke. Short, but worthwhile.
Kyousuke grit his teeth as his one eye looked up at his opponent, spitting a bit of blood from a small cut on the inside of his mouth to the floor, as his left cheek rested on the mat. "I'm losing too easily!" He hated to admit it, but there was no denying the fact his brain was slowly losing the oxygen it needed to function. He had found that, despite the pain that had burned through his neck, it had done him no good. He couldn't turn his neck, and he wouldn't try again in the same way. "I have a good fifteen seconds until my brain can't function."
As the pressure stayed on both his shoulder, and his neck, he was becoming increasingly aware that the blow to his chin was throbbing far too much than it should. It was summoning more oxygen to heal itself, and it managed none, making it all the more painful and distracting his mind long enough that he'd have the chance for only one more conscious chance to release the pressure. With his frustration he could only muster enough brain power to think one thing.
Before his right arm could be twisted he released the vein grasp on the opponents hair, and quickly dropped it down. For a moment it could very likely seem as though he had merely lost control of his arm as part of his brain shut down. But after only half a second of resting it he slid it over his right shoulder, and then slid his hand under it. Still it was possible that he was just relieving pressure from the twisting as it suddenly began in a counterclockwise motion. Spurred on by the instinct to escape Kyousuke suddenly turned his entire body sharply to the left, driving his forearm into the underside of his opponents knee.
The concept behind this would be the same as a small kick with the toe to the back of the knee. The knee would lose control as the inside of it would be struck, and the knee would lose it's strength for that once crucial moment. Under this setting, he was hoping it would lose strength long enough that he could break the precise pressure and roll away with the continued momentum from the torquing of his body. If successful he would roll until his right shoulder, which would feel the affects of being torqued but depending on the grip not too worse for wear as he would be in a position to keep his muscles taunt, was close to hitting the mat. He would quickly push himself to one knee and then stand, tumbling into ropes as blood rushed back to his head.
However if Kyousuke's last ditch effort proved worthless he would look up with amusement in his eyes as his mind shut down. However right before he would lose complete consciousness his left arm would flail up with the instinct of escape, likely hitting several spots inside of Kyukaku's inner thigh, quite possibly including the testicles if Kyukaku's luck was particularly bad at that particular moment. After this flail, he would simply lose consciousness, instead of tapping out. On the street, he would have done several things different on the ground. But as the case was, he could think of no legal movements or attacks other than the knee that would gain his freedom.

Kyukaku held tightly upon the arm, holding the pressure upon on the neck as he continued to choke his opponent out. Kyo brought his arm to the right, Kyukaku under the assumption that he would attempt to try and free his other arm. It seemed Kyo had something else in mind however, when he attempted to jerk to the left.
Kyukaku continued to pull on the arm, effectively preventing Kyosuke from getting the desired torque. The forearm still struck the underside of the knee, but the fact it was already bent in addition to lack of torque would make the blow feel like nothing more than a firm nudge. It was then that Kyosuke began to flail his arm, strikes aimed for Kyu's lower body.
He tucked his upperbody down and to the right. He pulled on the shoulder tighter, but even more importantly Kyu had put his left arm in the way, causing the punches to strike along his bicep and shoulder. With the lack of leverage, the punches would be uncomfortable, but little more than that. Moments later, Kyukaku would be the only concious one in the ring.
He sat there for one extra moment, making sure the body went limp before carefully standing back up. If he continued to hold he would cause lasting damage to Kyo's brain, and he had no intention to do so. With his opponent unconcious, Kyu would be declared the winner, and as soon as that occured Kyukaku would slowly walk back to the center of the ring, nudging Kyo's face with his palm to wake him up.
"Hey...its over. Hope you aren't hurt too bad."

Kyousuke hadn't been unconscious for too long. But it was more than long enough to feel blood pounding back into his head angrily once the pressure was released and he regained himself slowly. Kyukaku wouldn't need to have nudged his face to wake up him, the fact was Kyousuke simply refused to open his eyes to light and a possibility of increased pain until it was necessary. But all the same he responded when prodded. "... Unfortunately you just hurt my shoulder a bit." He muttered as he shifted his right shoulder in a circle to test the damage.
"Probably a good bruise on my chin and neck though." His darker blue eyes slowly opened up, the light making him wince for a moment, but forced them open fully after a few blinks.. "Sanpai." (Complete failure) Sighing heavily he put his hand up in the air, his fingers curved just right for his opponent to grasp it and haul him up. A show of respect for someone that defeated him, and showed concern for his safety. It was his way of saying that he also held no ill will for the fight, or the loss. With Kyukaku's aid or not Kyousuke would then stand up, probably too quickly for his own good, and then set his balance carefully.
"You've helped me realize a goal. I appreciate that." Kyousuke had no particular rush to get out of the ring, especially since his head was still pounding angrily at his failure to protect it. He would make a slow pace toward the edge of the ring, his sense of balance returning as he reached the ropes. "Try not to lose if you can avoid it. Everyone has their pride." Kyousuke would send a small nod to Kyukaku. Kyousuke would use his left shoulder to push up the top rope, while his left leg pushed down the middle, and left them there so Kyukaku could have a winners exit if he so chose.

"Heh, sorry about that."
Kyukaku's apology went through half-assed, for while he didn't aim to cause pain to his opponents, Kyosuke knew what laid ahead of him when he signed up. His opponent signalled he wanted to get up, Kyu not hesitating to reach down and grasp the forearm to lift him to his feet.
"I'm glad I could help. In case you didn't catch it, I go by the name of Kyukaku. If you ever need anything you can let me know."
Kyu watched Kyosuke as he made his way to the edge of the ring, Kyu deciding not to help him out of the ring for the sake of his opponents pride. At the last statement, Kyukaku merely gave a nod. A Dain-like smartass quip about trying to lose came to mind, but Kyu fought the urge and remained silent. He turned to the crowd slowly, interested in how their reaction to the fight went. Out of discomfort of the situation of being under the spotlight, Kyukaku gave his patented thumbs up and smile, wasting no more time afterwards to get out of the ring.
