His new opponent looked different from Dante, and much more serious at that. Fairly muscular too judging from his build. Interesting character.
Victor didn't know the figure's name, but he seemed familiar somehow. Was this guy from Varron like he was? Oh what did it matter? He wasn't here to socialize.
Victor brushed a strand of hair out of his face and did a few shoulder rolls. This opponent probably had something different from what Dante had to offer. The question was what style did he use?
"I'm looking forward to a good match." Victor said. Smiling, Victor stopped moving and went into a neutral stance, waiting to see what his opponent would throw at him.

One down, few more to go.
Fairly thrilled with his first round victory, Pain Killer started to leave the locker room. The first match in ring one's second round was finished, which was the sure signal that his match was about to begin. At least this time, Adam hadn't been eliminated in the first round, not like his last tournament. The fact that Taiku had gone on to win the whole thing mattered little, as the humiliation was still the same.
Regardless, it didn't much matter, as past tournaments meant little to this round. After all, you were only as good as your last fight.
Once he reached the ring, Adam rolled underneath the ropes, making sure to slide in at the furthest corner from where his opponent was standing. Once in, he wasted no time standing and putting himself into a fighting stance, not wanting Victor to catch him by surprise. His right fist would be placed close to his jaw, while his left hand would be in a half-formed fist about a foot away from his face. His left leg would lead his body, turning him on a slight angle away from Victor, his chest forming a 45 degree angle from his opponent.
Vaguely, he heard the words of his opponent, and in a rare moment, he chose to respond.
"I'm sure you are. Let's get this over with, I'd rather not spend any longer here than I need to."
Stepping out from his corner, Adam was now two feet from his corner, content to let his opponent come to him this round, much like the last.

"I'm sure you are. Let's get this over with. I'd rather not spend any longer here then I need to."
Victor's smile disappeared. Adam sounded arrogant, and Victor heavily disliked arrogance. However that wasn't his business. He was just here to fight.
Victor kept his stance neutral and began to slowly pace around the arena floor, keeping his hands in his pockets. He was still curious as to what style Adam used. There was only one way to find out and that was to fight.
Victor took one more step, then removed his hands from his pockets. He began to slowly rock back and forth using the Capoeira ginga technique. Still rocking slowly, almost drunkenly, Victor began to approach him.
Victor drew close enough and began to formulate a plan. He would start out with a right hand reverse punch to Adam's stomach with his right hand to make him guard his torso, then when he blocked it he would step into his guard and deliver a strike with his fingers extended into Adam's throat which would be unguarded due to his blocking the lower punch. All the while he would be using the ginga to rock and evade any counter strikes Adam had set up.
"Here it comes." Victor thought as he began to attack.

OOC: I'll just assume the jab to the throat is coming from your left hand, if it isn't, I'll fix it.
IC:
As Victor closed the distance, Adam let out a small exhalation of annoyance. Already, he could tell this one was going to be using unnecessarily complicated moves, simply from the fact that his smaller foe was using some sort of constant-motion stance. Why he would want to waste energy like that, Pain Killer couldn't tell, though he still understood some of the dangers such movements posed. With constant motion, it meant that Victor's attacks would be somewhat more difficult to see coming at first, though defensively, he'd simply be falling into a pattern for Adam to use and abuse.
It's times like these that make me wish I was smarter, so I could just drop the kid on his head and be done with him. Instead, I have to put up with someone who has WAY too much energy. God, what a pain...
Despite his inner anger, Adam's face took on a confident grin, as if mocking Victor that his stance was nothing special. One may have thought it was some sort of attempt at intimidation, though in truth, it was as much for Pain Killer's benefit as it was to Victor's chagrin, an attempt to build up his confidence to the levels he needed to push himself to victory. With Victor just now entering Adam's striking range, the larger man's left hand clenched into a full-fledged fist, both hands squeezing tightly shut as he prepared himself for the coming conflict.
The right hand that whipped towards his stomach almost went unnoticed, and the fact that Pain Killer's right elbow was so close to his torso was the only thing that enabled him to block it in time, his right arm dropping lower so that his forearm was struck rather than his stomach. In the same motion, Adam's left hand retracted closer to himself, hovering at about chest level as Victor's followup attack whipped towards his neck, resulting in Adam doing much the same thing as he always did against such potentially lethal strikes. His chin dipped down, his mouth opening wide enough to give the smaller man's fingers enough clearance to enter his mouth before Pain Killer's teeth clamped down, roughly at the level of the second knuckle.
By no means did he intend on holding Victor's hand in his mouth, the biting motion had merely been to keep the fingers from driving into the back of his throat, and should the smaller student pull on his captured limb, Adam would quickly release him, but at the moment, Victor's hand would be immobilized. Now, in such close quarters, Pain Killer would use his strength to full effect, twisting his body to the right as he sent a vicious left hook at Victor's right side, below the ribs in order to get at the more vulnerable flesh unprotected by bone.

So evidently Adam did not have a style at all, rather instead relying on raw combat. This promised to be a very interesting match.
Victor was a tad surprised to see Adam counter the blow by biting down on his fingers, but that was the mark of the brawler. There was nothing held back and everything was used. Very fascinating.
Adam began to rotate around to deliver a powerful hook to his soft area, but Victor intercepted the motion and used his legs to rotate with him like a dancer, keeping himself in front of him so the hook went past him.
"That was a foolish move, biting my hand." Victor thought. "Now you pay."
Rather then try to free his captured limb, Victor used his fingers to grab onto the inside angle of Adam's lower jaw and began to savagely yank outward, even going so far as to dig his fingernails into the soft flesh of the mouth. The idea was not to free his hand, but to dislocate Adam's jaw and inflict heavy pain. While yanking with his captured hand, Victor snapped out his fist in a middle area punch aimed at Adam's solar plexus.

Thatta boy, fight. Give me a reason to stop holding back.
Even with Victor sidestepping his attack, Adam didn't feel concerned. After all, the boy hadn't bothered pulling his hand out of Pain Killer's mouth, leaving it to be fair game. And really, who leaves a limb in their opponent's possession? Had Victor been given a better grip than simply his fingers in Adam's mouth, his intended jerking would have been far more damaging. As it was, Victor would simply tear the flesh on his fingers, driving them into the enamel of Pain Killer's teeth.
Of course, the fact that Adam would not idly allow this to happen wouldn't aid things either.
After Victor had sidestepped, Pain Killer would step back with his right leg, bringing him closer to Victor as his left hand retracted to grasp Victor's left wrist. At the same time, his right hand rose to grasp the smaller man by his left tricep, and by twisting his body to the left, would proceed to force the smaller man to bend forward lest his arm be broken. Adam would continue the force, driving the boy stomach first into the ground, overpower him easily, though remaining wary of the most common way to counter such a submission. If Victor rolled, he could wind up on his back, taking the pressure off his arm but leaving himself vulnerable to further attacks from the self-proclaimed Pain Killer, something Adam was more than happy to take advantage of.

Victor felt the pain as his flesh was torn open, but flesh was better then muscle and the pain was bearable. Still, he wasn't pleased with the outcome of the fight and knew if he didn't get his limb free he was finished. Luckily, close range fighting was what he did best.
Adam came in close and began to reach towards his shoulder to force him to bend over or face a broken arm. Pretty good, but Victor could do much better with stuff like that.
Victor stepped in close while making a short jump. Adam's wrist snatched onto his shoulder, but Victor rolled his shoulder in a circle while snapping his arm up and he was free. At the same time he wrapped his legs around Adam's body and began to squeeze with all the force of a boa constrictor while shoving his upper body forward to tip Adam onto his back. His hand still wasn't free, but he didn't need it yet. He would continue squeezing to cut off Adam's breath and crush his ribs.
"No room for him to dodge." Victor thought as he snapped his head forward like a vampire, aiming at Adam's throat. Even if he missed, he would use his trapped fingers and their nails to rip open Adam's tongue. Unlike the sturdy jaw, one didn't need much strength to destroy a person's tongue, and his fingers were in more than far enough to grasp the tongue, let alone just scratch it.

The key point behind an armbar was to control your opponent's movements, and as such, Adam was watching for any sign that Victor would not be heading in the direction he was intent on pushing him to. As such, when Victor stepped closer and then hopped, Pain Killer simply stepped back with his left leg and pivoted, pulling with his left hand on Victor's wrist while pushing the smaller boy by his triceps in order to form a lever-like pressure on the elbow joint. Given how Pain Killer had actually grabbed Victor by the tricep, and not the shoulder, the smaller boy would find his shoulder roll accomplishing very little, if anything. After all, Pain Killer was bigger and stronger, with two hands holding Victors single limb; unless the smaller boy was freakishly strong, he'd have little luck simply pulling himself free.
Of course, with both hands holding Victor's arm, there was little reason for Adam to continue gripping Victor's fingers in his teeth. Therefore, as he felt the smaller boy's fingers begin touching his tongue, he simply pulled his head back and opened his mouth at the same time, releasing the hand from his mouth while retaining his grip on Victor's wrist. Since the smaller boy had hopped, he had given away all his balance in an all or nothing move, while Pain Killer still had a stable base to work with.
Not a particularly good sign.
Since Pain Killer had stepped back and was pushing his opponent forward and down, Victor would find himself hopping past Adam, forced to a lower position of either kneeling/sitting down, or falling flat on his stomach. Either way, Victor's landing would not give him the stability he needed to resist Pain Killer's pressure to his arm given the momentum he had from hopping forward. In any event, regardless of how Victor landed, Pain Killer would continue pulling on Victor's wrist while pushing on his triceps as hard as possible, hyperextending the elbow and possibly breaking it.

His arm was free, but now there was a new problem, namely freeing himself from Adam's grip. He was strong-very strong-and there wasn't much chance of getting out of the double handed hold.
"Not bad. However I'm not going to surrender yet." Victor thought.
He couldn't free himself from the powerful hold, but he could also use the position to his advantage. Adam was holding him with both hands and that left his middle and lower sections heavily open to attack. Even more open was the underside of his hands which were neatly lined up.
Using the strength in his powerful legs, Victor stood up and brought his left foot up in a rising kick to strike at Adam's stomach. Regardless of whether it connected, he would immediately use his same leg to kick the underside of Adam's hands and wrists to break them and make him let go. Once that happened he would deliver a revers kick with his right leg to Adam's ribs to crush them.
OOC: Hope that's better. Also, a revers is a hook kick making contact with the sole of the shoe.

OOC: It's all good.
IC:
Adam could almost feel the joint give way as Victor stood against the pressure, giving him a minor rush of enjoyment. It was highly doubtful the smaller boy would try to punch from this position, as he'd have to come across his body to do so, making the attack incredibly easy to read. Instead, Adam kept his attention lower, watching for movements of the legs in order to counter effectively. The moment Victor raised his leg to attack, Pain Killer immediately thrust the captured left arm of his opponent down, jerking the left side of Victor's body downward and ruining the momentum the student would have in his attack, as well as inadvertantly ruining the aim Victor had for his second strike.
Still, with such pressure on the arm, it would only take another moment or two, tops, before the limb gave way, leaving Victor all but guaranteed to forfeit the fight from the injury. In the meantime, Adam would make sure that Victor's options were limited, giving him the time required to make short work of the arm.
Whether Victor followed through with his reverse kick or not, Pain Killer would ignore it, as his right foot flew forwards, aimed at the back of Victor's left knee. Should it connect, it would force Victor either down to a knee, or simply to fall should he be performing his kick. Either way, it would bring Victor back under control long enough for Pain Killer to finish his work on the arm, and finish this round quickly.

The kick failed as Adam threw off his balance and there was no point in using the reverse kick now that his arm was being forced down. Victor had a funny feeling that he was finished. Perhaps he was.
There was however, just one last option.
As Adam thrust his arm down and struck out with his own foot, Victor managed to wiggle his arm out of Adam's grip just enough so that he could block the kick to his knee. At the same time he looped his right arm forward at a forty five degree angle and looped it around Adam's neck to cut off his breathing while looping his right leg behind Adam's left leg.
Victor immediately began to pull out Adam's leg from under him while shoving diagonally downwards with his arm which would be tightly holding Adam's head under his armpit. He would unbalance him, drop him to the ground, then drop onto his face with an elbow strike for heavy damage.

OOC: I'll just write this assuming it all goes according to plan, but if you can somehow think of a way out of it, feel free to interrupt the actions.
IC:
With his kick blocked, one may have thought that Pain Killer would be frustrated, or at the very least disappointed, given the man's temperment. Yet, Adam remained calm, the barest of frowns forming on his otherwise determined face. Despite whatever miscalculation he'd done that had enabled Victor to block his kick, in the end, it didn't particularly matter. Victor hadn't bothered saving his arm, and now he was about to learn the folly of his mistake.
As the smaller boy turned his body to face Pain Killer, Adam could see the right arm coming towards his face from a mile away. After all, it was coming from across Victor's body, giving Pain Killer plenty of time to estimate where the attack was going, and act accordingly. He tucked his chin down to his chest, letting Victor grasp his face with his arm, before suddenly and violently pushing with his own right arm, putting a good deal of his body weight behind the motion. The rapid increase in pressure would snap Victor's already weakened arm easily, unless he were able to change his mind in mid-move, as well as push the useless limb towards his chest, driving Victor back. Whether the smaller man fell or stumbled back from the shove didn't matter, as with one arm, he would have virtually no chance at defeating the self-proclaimed Pain Killer.
It was over.

There seemed to be only one solution, and Victor realized his biggest mistake had been trying to free himself while attacking. With a fighter like Adam, he couldn't try to turn things against him. The only way to fight him was the strike hard and fast and leave no room for blocking or countering. However, Victor couldn't do that now. He needed to escape and he knew how.
As he brought his arm forward, he realized-perhaps too late-that Adam had seen it coming. As Adam began to shove the arm away, Victor leaned his body back while snatching his own arm with his free hand. With a savage burst of strength, Victor dug his heels into the ground and shoved backwards while yanking on his trapped arm. It put a horrible strain on his trapped arm, but his efforts were rewarded. His biggest mistake had been trying to attack from such a position. Now he was just focusing on escaping.
It bore fruit. It hurt tremendously, but Victor's arm came free with the combined force of him pulling on his arm and putting every muscle in his body into the pull. He staggered backwards and regained his balance. The pain was intense, but he would manage. He had recovered from far worse in the past.
Victor stretched his arm a little, then went into a normal stance, keeping his hands by his side. He decided the best move would be to let Adam come to him this time. He couldn't afford to make anymore mistakes.

Hn. Didn't expect that.
Rather than give chase after the rapidly backing up Victor, Pain Killer remained where he was, calmly staring at his foe. It was foolish to immediately follow up, or at least, that's how it felt to Adam, as he may be running directly into an attack. Despite his natural toughness, he preferred to take as little damage this round as possible.
"Well, aren't you the slippery one?"
Smirking softly, Pain Killer pulled himself into the stance he had used earlier, twisting his body slightly to the right in order to bring his left side forward. He was in no rush to continue the fight, as he was already well ahead so far as he was concerned. Slowly, leisurely, he began to inch forward, sliding his left foot forward a small distance, then pulling his right closer to remain in a stable stance, following this pattern until he was in striking range. While Victor could certainly reach him with kicks, Pain Killer's arm length was naturally longer than Victor's, which gave him the advantage in that respect.
Play it safe. Let him make a mistake, then put him down.
With his gameplan in mind, Pain Killer whipped his left hand forward in a quick palm strike, jabbing his palm towards Victor's nose. If it connected, the impact would likely make Victor's eyes water, as it was the body's natural reaction to such damage, something that Pain Killer would take advantage of wholeheartedly.

To Victor, the linear palm strike seemed to be coming in slow motion. He had plenty of time to calculate his movements. Adam was using the same stance as before, but now he was striking with his left arm while his guard was up toward his face. Easy picking indeed.
Victor dropped his left arm toward his chest so he could ward off any counter attack, then reached out-almost casually-with his right hand and pushed the palm strike diagonally to his left so it would go past him and unbalance Adam.
As he performed this simple, rather subtle technique, he slid forward to the right at a forty five degree angle past Adam and raised up his left leg in a devastating roundhouse knee strike towards Adam's chest area. Even if he blocked it with one of his arms or hands, the force of the thrust combined with Victor's twisting body would crush the limb. Not to mention the sudden shift in balance would bring him right into the strike.
As the strike came forward, Victor brought his left arm out in front of him while lowering his right arm for protection. He would use his left arm to perform a reverse hammer fist strike to the back of Adam's neck to sandwich him between the knee and the fist, doing double damage. Even if these attacks failed, Victor was gliding with his legs rather then stepping, so he could rotate his left leg behind him at one hundred eighty degrees while retracting his right leg to escape any attacks.

Mistake number... four, is it?
Smiling broadly, Pain Killer didn't bother resisting as his palm strike was sent off to Victor's left, the attack having never really been meant to land in the first place. Instead, he'd intended on making Victor counter with his right hand, leaving only the weakened left arm to defend his upper body. His right hand dipped lower, Adam stepping forward as he threw his right arm forward in a vicious uppercut aimed at Victor's sternum, picking the largest target so that Victor couldn't simply move out of the way.
The step forward, originally used to put more of Pain Killer's considerable weight behind the blow, served another purpose as well, bringing Adam closer to Victor and removing himself from the path of the knee strike. Instead, as close as the two were, the best Victor could hope for was to hit Pain Killer in the side with his thigh, while Pain Killer could either hammer into Victor's miraculously unbroken arm, or into the smaller man's torso.
Either way, Victor would take the worse beating in the exchange of blows.

OOC: Evidently it's no longer a match but simply seeing who can last the longest without getting hit.
The hammer fist had no time to deploy as Adam simply stepped forward and began a vicious uppercut to his breastbone. Victor's leg saved him. He circled his right leg backwards and turned his back to his opponent just long enough for the uppercut to brush past him. He was lucky. The uppercut would be enough to finish him.
As Victor whipped around towards his opponent in the direction he had turned, he launched his right elbow at Adam's neck while raising his right knee up in strike to the ribs. Adam was leaving himself wide open from the force of the uppercut and Victor was inside of his guard now, making him a sitting duck.
The catch was, Victor was not intending these to be simple strikes. Once he struck with these simultaneous blows, he would use his momentum to turn the strikes into a take down. As he fell with Adam he would stab him in the eyes with his right fingers which would catch his nostrils if his moved his head in any way. With his left hand he would deliver a close range punch to his solar plexus to knock the wind out of him.
