Tiao Lei Shen wasn't late, but he wasn't early either. The Pillar was often used to staying up this late just playing videogames at Darren's, but he made sure to get a little extra rest today. Not only did Tiao get to sleep through Algebra II in the lounge today, but thanks to the perks of the job he didn't have to make up the assignment either.
He strolled in through the doors non-chalantly. It just so happened that non-chalant for Tiao was opening both doors, shouting a greeting to the crowd as he marched to his particular ring. There were cheers and boos for the pillar, but the boos had quickly gotten drowned out by the cheers, and sucker punches, of the more loyal students to Tiao and the system.
Placing both hands on the top rope, Tiao put himself into a handstand, pushing off a moment later to complete the flip into the ring. He made eye contact with Kurtz, giving him a smirk as if the two shared a common joke. Kurtz was in this for the money, and the better show Tiao gave would be beneficial to his peer. That, and Tiao had no qualms about gloating.
Tiao looked around in an attempt to find his opponent, seemingly forgetting that he had no idea who his opponent was. There was a name, but who that name belonged to Tiao had no idea. Not that it mattered though, whoever decided to step into the ring with Tiao would find themselves being thrown back out.
Assuming they'd ever make it out of the ring.

Nathan was late. He decided to immediately take a nap after school to keep himself awake during the late night tournament in which he would be involved. Once he arrived he immediately began sprinting to the door. He smashed them open with full force, but immediately slowed down, realizing that he wasn't overly late and rushing would just make him look foolish. He took a slow confident walk to the ring, sliding under the ropes instead of doing a flip into the ring as his opponent had. Upon a closer examination of his opponent's face, he discovered that he was someone very well-known around Hircine High for his fighting abilities. The man he would fight tonight was Tiao Lei Shen, one of the pillars of Nathan's school. It appeared that he would be denied a warm-up round before things got serious. Nathan looked at Tiao with cinfidence to the extreme that it could be considered plain recklessness or maybe just ignorance.
"Well look who we have here, one of the pillars, Tiao Lei Shen himself. It looks like things are goning to get pretty interesting." Nathan said loudly making sure Tiiao could hear Nathan over the crowd.
"My name's Nathan Branigan by the way. Forgive me for not shaking your hand, but it would be rather akward considering we are going to smash each other's faces in in a moment." He said explaining his slight rudeness in his introduction.
"Well Tiao you got here first which makes me the challenger. So it's only fair,in my eyes, that you make the first move." Nathan then immediately dropped into a defensive stance, preparing for Tiao's opening onslaught.
"Shall we begin?"

"That's fine with me farmer Nate. I'm not one to give off false sportsmanly conduct for activities that severely lack in the area of goodwill to men." Tiao smirked, giving off the smallest of shrugs as he spoke his agreement to the ripped blue-jean and white T wearing rural boy.
"You're call. Just don't blame me when this hurts."
Tiao shrugged once again, though more visibly this time. Nathan sunk into a defensive stance, Tiao allowing him to get set before making any moves. He'd let him be as ready he needed to be right now, but as soon as the first moves were made it would be surprising if Tiao allowed him anytime to get set once again.
Tiao took one slow step forward, clasping his palms together and flexing his fingers both ways, cracking them for more comfort. He lifted his head, showing Nathan the eyes hidden beneath the bill of his hat. Tiao smirked once more, though in much darker of a contrast to his earlier ones. He opened his mouth, giving off a quiet "Heh," before blasting forward the few yards and shooting his left hand forward.
Tiao's left palm would thrust forward quickly in a slight upperward angle due to the difference in their height, intent on slamming his palm into the butt of Nathan's chin, sending his backward. It would be hard to deal with the sudden burst of Tiao's speed, but not impossible. However, forcing Nathan to move would force the taller man to give an opening up one way or another.
All Tiao had to do was wait and see.

~"You're call. Just don't blame me when this hurts."~
Soon after this Tiao sped towards Nathan with an amazing speed. He then sent out a quick left palm strike to Nathan's chin. This was at a slightly upward angle, due to Tiao's shorter height. This placed Nathan in what seemed to be a perfect position.
Nathan used his defensive stance to full advantage at the time, simply swaying his right arm right into the incoming attack through the wrist and forearm. This easily deflected Tiao's intended attack with nearly no efffort required by Nathan at all. Nathan then proceeding to move to a quick offensive move to keep Tiao on his guard. While he was deflecting Tiao's attack, he was moving slightly forward and adjusting his right arm to slight prefectly strike Tiao's attack away from him. Nathan also sent a strong left hook directly into Tiao's own face. This would also have added momentum, due to his momentum allowing Nathan to put his full weight into his attack. Such an attack could easily knowck a smaller fighter off their feet, or at least force them to momentarily back of in pain.
Although his attack was normally would leave him open to attack, this was not the case. His hook would protect Nathan from any punch or jab from Tiao's right hand, due to its position near his body and face and Tiao's inferior height.
'Tiao if you're going to fight like this then you can't win. I only hope that you will prove otherwise. For your own sake.' Nathan thought overconfidently

They take the bait, every time!
Tiao beamed inwardly, a grin surfacing once more as Nathan made a rather good attempt at a block and counter. While the farmer boy might have thought he covered himself, Tiao found several openings in the short moment, though only instantly reacting to one.
Pushing his right tiger palm directly to his inside, Tiao had redirected Nathan's hook punch by its wrist, making it curve earlier than the thrower had intended. As Nathan's fist passed in front of Tiao's face, he would torque to his left, allowing his shoulder to move forward as his arm curled inward. In one smooth motion, Tiao had deflected the punch and moved into an elbow strike, moving just above Nathan's shoulder and striking him in the left cheekbone. It was aimed for quickness and not power, therefore it would be unlikely to knock out the farmer as much as it would momentarily cause pain and distraction. It would be impossible to avoid due to the momentum Nathan put into the strike and the closeness of the two, and for that same reason Nathan would be unable to torque the other way and stop such an action.
Pushing off his left foot, Tiao would send his own body directly to the right. While this occured, Tiao's left hand would move back in hard to the right set of Nathan's ribs. Digging in with his fingers, Tiao's arm pull along with his body movement to the right, would tear through the white cotton shirt of Nathan as the tiger claw raked from his side down and accross his naval, removing layers of skin in the process. Tiao's fingers were beyond the point of simple conditioning, so much that it often caused uncomfortability in simple things like making a fist, or holding a pencil. When he got older, such things would likely become impossible for him, but for now it was useful weapon.
Tiao would land just out of striking distance, bringing his left hand in front of his face and flexing his claw for dramatic effect. If Tiao's attack went through as it seemed it would, Nathan would find pain in most of his simple movements. Tiao stared into Nathan's eyes, the gleam within them holding the same quality as the beast he modeled his attacks after. It was the gleam of the predator, and now that his prey was wounded it was only a matter of time before he would pounce in and get the kill.

'Damn it!'
That is all Nathan could think as he saw Tiao suddenly turn the power of his own attack against him. Tiao sent a palm strike directly at Nathan's arm to redirect it, Then sent his elbow straight into Nathan's left cheek bone. This didn't hurt as much as it should of however, which made Nathan burst into action. He knew what Tiao planned.
Immediately, Nathan used his right hand to grab Tiao's swipe. It could cause some serious damage if it wasn't taken care of quickly.
The thought that Nathan had been so easily thwarted with his attack made him feel a slight tinge of anger towards Tiao. It was nothing that would affect his ability to fight, but just enough to make him strike out. Tiao's elbow strike didn't hurt, but it sent Nathan back slightly, his right leg was just barely released of its pressure on the ground.
'Perfect' Nathan thought as he sprung into the attack once again.
Nathan went to strike at Tiao with his right knee, aimed directly at Tiao's gut. Tiao could not use either of his arms to stop this attack. His right arm was still curled from the elbow strike and would not be able to act in time. Not only that, but his left arm was still being used to try and strike at his ribs and was being stopped. His defensive right arm would not slow his attack at all, but ti would easily slow Tiao's. Nathan's knee would hit Tiao with considerable force, one again using Tiao's attack against him. If Nathan was lucky, he might even stop Tiao's attack all together. And cause a fairly painful hit as well.
'Lets see you stop this!'
OOC: Tiao and I are discussing this post, so it might take some extra time to resolve this. We will take care of it ASAP. PS: It has been changed and if it is exceptable, the match will continue.

(OOC: Sure, I'll go with it.)
It seemed Nathan had an abnormal amount of foresight, for the boy was instantly able to react to Tiao's moves without a moment's hesitation. If Tiao had been relying on pure arm strength, Nathan might have been able to keep ahold of Tiao. However, since Tiao had pushed off his right foot, utilizing more lower body strength than upper body, this wouldn't be the case.
Tiao's attack would still hit, though due to the resitance Nathan put up the damage would only span a few inches, tearing the cloth and flesh upon Nathan's ribs. It was a shame that he didn't get to tear through him as much as intended, but Tiao would be sure to pay him back in full later on. After the few inches of attack, Tiao would turn his wrist quickly in a counter clockwise spin, pulling in at the elbow as well to reinforce his escape from the grab.
He would be out of the way of Nathan's right knee strike with plenty of time to spare. Nathan had barely held on to him for a second, and would take time for him to shift his body all the way to the opposite direction to deliver a right knee strike.
Backing off as he had planned, once his staredown on his opponent was completed, Tiao would speak up once more with his hand still held in front of his face. "C'mon Nate. You can't really expect to get that far with me in this ring."
Tiao would stand there, grinning in amusement. It would be Nathan's turn to come at him this time. That way, when Tiao gutted him with his bare-hands there couldn't be any hard feelings from the crowd. After all, Tiao would just be protecting himself.

Nathan was only able to watch as Tiao was able to avoid his attack and release himself from Nathan's grip once again. Not only that, but Nathan had to deal with the pain in his right side due to the swipe that Tiao made on him. Nathan was able to lessen the blow, but it was still strong enough to rip clean through his shirt. As his shirt began to become slightly stained from his blood, he watched Tiao back off and smile in anticipation.
'Damn you Tiao.' Is all Nathan could think in his frustration
Nathan had promised himself that he would act foolishly during this fight, but he had already underestimated Tiao's skill. Even now, Tiao waited on Nathan to attack. He was approaching this way to not appear to be a complete brute and he would succeed. Nathan knew now that there was little chance for him to win this fight, but he would rather be beaten to a pulp than give up now. He Ran at Tiao, but at the same time held back. Nathan wanted to make sure he could get away in a bad position, yet go all out at the same time. Once he got within about five feet of Tiao Nathan slowed down and got into a rough boxing stance and threw a fast yet weak punch at Tiao as if testing him out once again. He kept his right arm in front of his face and body and kept his right leg in a slight lead of his left. He still didn't understand how Tiao fought, but he felt he might be beginning to understand.
Nathan was done fooling around. If he wanted to stand a chance against a pillar, he couldn't hold back. Nathan would have to be prepared to be smashed to bits.

Nathan rushed forward in a speedy, yet balanced manner in another attempt to strike Tiao. The pillar made no signs of movement as the student came forward. While it may have looked as if he wasn't thinking much of Nathan, which is fully how he intended it to look, Tiao was actually relaxing his muscles in an effort to be able to react as quick as possible. Nathan had played it the safest he could, as he was able to retain majority of his own body control this time. The only flaw in his logic was simple.
There were no safe moves when you're in the ring with Tiao.
Pivoting back on his right foot, Tiao's left slid back til his body went sideways. Simultaneously Tiao's right hand came up and in very quickly, palming Nathan's punch down and to the inside just as it reached full extension. Bouncing off the arm, Tiao's tiger claw would pop up into a quick hit with the back of his hand against Nathan's nose. The curled fingers of the tiger claw made the back of Tiao's hand as strong as any backfist. This was once again aimed for speed, but in a strike towards the nose he wouldn't be struggling to have enough power to make it hurt and tear up Nathan's eyes.
Tiao held his left hand just below his jaw, expected Nathan to try something else once again. Hopefully this time Tiao would find the moment he needed to finish him once and for all.

As expected, Tiao easily pushed the weak jab to the side with the typical palm strike. He then went into a full force blow directed at Nathan's face. It was only a back hand so Nathan really didn't need to worry about Tiao shredding his face like he did his ribs. However, Nathan also got the impression that this simple attack was just another of Tiao's set ups that he would use to draw Nathan out into a position where Tiao could strike him in a way to cause severe pain while Nathan would be forced on the defensive. It was made obvious to Nathan that Tiao was the superior fighter. If he fought Tiao directly countering his moves than Nathan couldn't win this fight. Tiao was a disciplined fighter that had gotten used to fending off even the most complex of attacks. So Nathan decided to used an overly simplistic tactic instead.
Instead of grabbing or blocking the back hand as most would, he decided to rely on the path of brute force. He merely ducked under the attack, tilted his head to the side, and lunged at Tiao in an old fashion football tackle. This may be a simple move to make, but it at least protected him from the punches for an instant, hit hard, and was very fast. If it hit, it would even knock Tiao right to the ground. It might even knock the wind of of him, leaving Tiao defenseless as Nathan would be free to pound on him non-stop until Tiao couldn't fight on. Nathan had hope that this would work, but that's all it was. Hope.
Nathan had many moments in fights where he was proud of his clever attacks, but this was not one of them. It was a move a desperation in the face of a clearly superior opponent. Maybe Nathan would challenge Tiao after the round was over. When he was better rested and had learned more of Tiao's way of fighting. However, now was where his body was. And now is where he would devote himself.
All he had was hope.

Well this is certainly better than anything I could of hoped for.
Tiao's swipe toward's the head of Nathan struck nothing but air, his arm quickly circling back in as it followed its trajectory. His left hand was placed in a very battle ready position, and when Nathan pushed forward in an attempt to tackle he had just forfeit this match.
Reaching out with his left hand, Tiao gripped the hair on the back of Nathan's head as the farmer dived forward. By this time his right arm already found its way back, reaching out now and grabbing the cloth atop his left shoulder. These two motions were unecessary for his attack, but gave more than enough insurance that Nathan was finished.
Tiao was never one to back off, this moment being no exemption. Thrusting his own hips forward, Tiao's left knee came forward, driving itself in and up into the face of Nathan, likely knocking him out on spot. It had more than enough force to do it, but Tiao really hoped he'd have some conciousness as he continued, however unlikely that would be.
If the knee struck and he was indeed concious, Nathan would be in way too much of a daze to react accordingly to the non-hesitant motions of Tiao. As soon as the knee landed, his left foot went back once more. He pivoted clockwise on his left foot, bringing his right foot behind him as he spun 180 degrees. Still holding the hair of Nathan, Tiao would thrust his head forward and down, slamming the farmer boy's forehead onto the ground.
Still too full of adrenaline, Tiao would follow Nathan to the ground, placing his knees on the back of each of Nathan's arms, pinningh him to the ground as he sat atop his back. Tiao would then repeatedly raise Nathan by his hair and slam his face into the ground over and over again.
Kurtz would surely stop him when he saw it was over. That was of course, once the sponsers had their fill of brutality.

The referee looked over to Kurtz, who quickly nodded to the man. It was obvious that Nathan had become unconscious, among other things. It was best to stop before the injuries became so severe teachers would start complaining.
The referee climbed into the ring, walked over to Tiao, and wrapped his hand around the arm holding the Nathan's head. He pulled up, and likely Tiao would stop as he knew he had the match won. The referee lifted Tiao's hand in the air, as Kurtz yelled into the microphone.
"And the winner of match A4 is Taio Lei Shen, give him a round of applause folks!"
