"Next up, we're going to see Kyukaku vs. Xenarius. Kyukaku might be a bit beat up after the last fight, and Xenarius plowed through with a single blow. Cheap shot or destructive power, we'll find out tonight!"
Kurtz quickly ran out of the ring and the sight of the audience, giving the fighters a vacant ring to enter.

"Hmmmmm... I've never actually met Kyukaku before... at least I don't think I have. This should be very interesting." I thought to myself as I walked into the establishment and headed down the stairs. The roar of the betting crowd trumping all other sound in the room, but that will soon change. All of it will soon change. The ring will become the world for the duration of the fight, but Kyukaku has to show up first I note as I walk into the room. The ring empty of anyone except Kurtz who is quickly leaving it.
Looking around I walk over to the bleachers and go up a few rows, then I sit down letting myself blend in with the crowd. "I will stay here until he shows up. Maybe I can learn something about him by watching his entrance." I think as I get a few weird looks from the audience around me. Now all that was needed was Kyukaku, and this whole thing could get started.

(OOC: Editted, for I completely overlooked the part where you said you were on the stands, not in the ring.)
Beat up? That better be for dramatic purposes. All I took were deflective blows. I'm still at 100% here...
Kyukaku sighed, it sounded as if he was being made the underdog once again. Well then again, that wasn't too bad. Being the underdog meant people expected less, giving you less pressure and more freedom. Its better to lose when you have no one to let down, and better to win when thoughts are against you.
Or maybe he's the underdog and its just to get Xenerius fired up.
Kyukaku lost himself in thought as he walked casually up to the ring, his gaze completely unfocused on the world around him. He didn't recall ever meeting this Xenarius, though if he was correct he was from Varron as well. No Hircine students made it this far if they even signed up, it was a dissapointment. But still, this would be considered new blood regardless since Kyu hadn't fought this one before.
Stepping up into the ring in his same Karate gi and gloves he had on previously against Jellar, Kyu brought his gaze up to the ring, noticing that his opponent hadn't arrived yet. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long of a wait, as Kyu had never been the most patient person around.

(ooc: I am not in the ring yet. I took a seat in the bleachers to watch you enter. But I will catch me up to where you are.)
The second Kyukaku entered I knew it was him. Not only from the looks he got from the screaming, betting, crowd, but also the way he carried himself. The quiet confidence in himself, this was a man who knew what he was here for and didn't care about any of the distractions. "He is a few inches shorter than I am. I'll have to use that to my advantage if I can." I think to myself standing up and never taking my eyes off of him as he works his way through the crowd.
I walk down and enter the ring waiting for him to get there. When he walks up and sticks his hand out to shake mine I smile a little bit and reach out shaking his hand back. "So few remember the usual courtesies these days. It is refreshing to see someone like myself here." I say to him as he steps back. I also take a few steps back to create a nice sized gap between us. "I hope that the results of this match will not affect any chances of friendship we may have in the future. Best of luck to you as well." I lower myself into my defensive stance and wait for him to make the first move.
"Well here goes nothing..." I think to myself as I wait in anticipation.

(OOC: heh, looks like you wrote your post while I made my corrections. Oh well, I'll try to even things up with this one.)
Not having to wait long, Kyu's opponent made his way into the ring. Kyu approached him, extending his right arm for a handshake as he gave his good luck and salutations to his opponent. Xenarius was a little bigger than Kyu was, but he was no Pain Killer so the size wouldn't be much of a difficulty.
"Of course." Kyu replied with a smile to Xenarius' remark of having no hard feelings however this turned out.
They both stepped back, and when Xenarius gave no suggestion that he would be attacking Kyukaku went on the offensive. He would walk forward slowly, alloting enough time to make sure Xenarius would be ready. Once approaching striking distance, Kyu would slide in with his left side, throwing a sharp quick backhand with his left fist aimed for Xenarius' nose.

"He must be feeling me out... this attack isn't that bad." I think to myself as I reach up with my left hand and attempt to grab Kyu's wrist. If the grab succeeds I will pull it down, back, and twist his arm in hopes of getting his hand behind his back giving me very good leverage from the beginning.
If I accomplish all of this I will wrap my right arm around his and attempt to lock it behind his back as well. If this succeeds I will move my right foot around his right ankle and push forward in an attempt to force him onto the mat where I can easily use my few extra inches and my weight to my advantage. (ooc: Oh time paradoxes... how interesting they are. I think it is all worked out now though!)

As Kyu had expected from a larger opponent, this one had tried to grab his wrist. Larger opponents always seemed to want to use their strength as leverage, something that often caused backfire from seasoned fighters.
As this had been expected along with the fact this was just a jab to feel out Xenarius' fighting style, Kyu had went for speed, snapping his arm back the second any contact was made from the opponent. Xenarius had touched Kyu's arm with his hand, but only briefly before it was pulled back in.
Kyu pivoted his stance, his right hand going out as his left backhand was retracted. A hard, straight right punch would be aimed at Xenarius' temple, the fist trailing right over Xenarius' left arm. Xenarius would be reaching forward, only making this hit that much more effective and unexpected.
Xenarius would have less than a second to react after his attempted grab, and if the fist connected the man would be flat on his ass, knocked out cold.

"It seems I was right and he was feeling me out... here comes the right." I thought to myself as I pushed my left arm up deflecting his blow to the side. Then using my own right arm to throw a punch into Kyu's gut. If it connects I will bring my left elbow down on top of his head as he bends slightly from the punch to the gut. If all of this goes as planned I will grab his head with both hands and knee him in the face (attempting to break his nose) with my right knee.
If all of this goes as planned he will very likely find himself on the mat if he is not unconscious.

Xenarius had somehow moved his arm a decent amount of distance in a very short amount of time, deflecting Kyu's punch. He threw a regular right punch, Kyukaku deflected his wrist with his left hand as it came in, directing it towards his right (your left).
Pushing the arm to the side, Kyu stepped with his left foot, placing it behind and next to Xenarius'. With his already raised right hand from Xenarius' deflection, Kyu would rap his right fist down, the back of his knuckles smashing into Xenarius' nose.
Kyu would then pivot clockwise on his left foot and push off, sending himself backwards to gain some space to see how Xenarius would act with a broken nose.

Unable to completely avoid the blow now headed for my face I turn my head to the side and down so the fist connects with my cheek instead of my nose. The force of the downward strike pushes me to one knee, but I am up just as fast as I went down, spinning to face Kyu as I get up.
Then I step forward closing the distance between us and lower myself into my stance to wait for his next attack. "I will never initiate, but I will finish." I think to myself while I wait for him to decide on his next move. Whatever it is I am ready for him.

Upon delivering his strike, Kyu had noticed Xenarius turn his head. The strike landed but instead of breaking the nose it would only cause a brusing on the cheek.
Kyu pivoted towards Xenarius as planned, but due to him dropping to one knee Kyu had not jumped backwards. As Kyu turned he tensed his fist, which had already been at the center of his chest from the deflection of the arm. As he pivoted Kyu torqued to the right, a hard left elbow strike heading straight for Xenarius' head.
Xenarius had just gone down, and if he had gotten up just as quickly he would get nailed with the full force to the back of his skull, knocking him out. Kyu didn't feel like playing around anymore, he wanted this done and done now. If he could have an unscathed match this time around he would be that much better off in the finals, and the way Kyu saw things, he was about to get the end of his match right now.

Noticing that Kyu stayed where he was from the corner of my eye as I started to rise I saw him throw the elbow. So I dove sideways while turning (this would throw me away from you and out of the reach of your elbow) and rolled to my feet as I landed. Standing up I took a deep breath and moved back towards Kyu trying to get him to make a move.
"That was close..." I think to myself as I do this. If he does throw an attack I will be ready for it and act according to what type of attack he does. If he does not attack I will walk right up and grapple him and try to force him to the mat.

(OOC: Try being more specific Xenarius, telling me which side you would do things with and more exact locations of strikes and/or grapples.)
Due to the no hesitation of the follow up and the already close positioning of their bodies, Xenarius' dive would at most start at the time of the collision. The best he could hope for would be to only get clipped by the tip of the elbow which would still cause damage to the back of his skull. This was the minimum amount of damage he could receive if he reacted as fast as humanly possible. It would be likely that his roll would also become much less smooth from the hit, if he didn't end up sprawled on the mat altogether.
Kyukaku would wait for Xenarius to go on the offensive. If he was able to get to his feet they would be shaky. Xenarius' brain would have been shaken up from the two attacks, his head not able to take much more heavy blows at this point.

Completely thrown off course as I get clipped my roll is more of a tumble away. As I get up from my tumble I shake my head slightly and blink a few times. Then I make my way towards Kyu moving slowly to give the appearance that I am recovering from the last attack. If he attacks me I will attempt another grab on him, but if he doesn't attack me I will move right up to him and then basically tackle him to the mat. (If it gets to this I will bend at the knees and wrap his waist pushing forward as I do so).

Xenarius made the mistake of giving Kyukaku way more than enough time he needed to prepare for the tackle. As Xenarius bent at the knees and pushed forward in an attempt to tackle him; Kyu slid his right foot back, solidifying his stance as he stuck his hands out on Xenarius' forehead, holding him in place.
Due to their positioning, Kyu had a decent amount of control of Xenarius, for where the head goes the body follows. In this case, that was no where. Xenarius' arms would go out to Kyu's waist, but they would end up falling short. Xenarius would just be able to brush his fingertips around his waist. Either way, while the arms were up Kyukaku would hold tightly onto Xenarius' head, thrusting in his right knee for a hard strike under his jaw.
Xenarius had taken Kyu's blows better than he had expected, but this would be one no man could shake off.

As he lifted his leg off the ground to knee me I would imediately grab it and pull it towards me hard. It would still impact but it would hit my chest and with much less ferocity than intended because the jerk on his knee would either force him to hop forward or throw him completely off balance, and my arms would slow his leg as well.
If he is forced to hop I will use the time he is in the air to my advantage and push forward again, this time holding his leg, in an effort to force him to the mat. If I get him onto the mat I will immediately attempt to wrap his legs with mine and lock them.
If he just looses his balance I will pull my head free while he does so and take a few steps back. Then lower myself into a defensive stance and wait for his next advance.

(OOC: Like I said in the PM I'm just going to continue my other move. If you have a problem PM me, but remember my points.)
As Xenarius would attempt to grab ahold of my leg he would find it impossible to have a tight enough hold to change the trajectory of a quick and solid knee strike.
The leg would slip through his grasp and catch him directly under the jaw. It would hit him hard, causing him to flail to the ground unconcious. His jaw would swell and be sore for a few days, but Kyu held back just enough where he wouldn't break anything or chip his teeth as long as he kept his mouth shut.
Kyu would let him drop and step away, alloting the time and space for the judgement of the match to be called.
