Hircine High's musical department was large and impressive, with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of musical instruments and equipment. Shamino had requested he come in as a young guitarist and teach entry level guitarists the pentatonic minor scale. The musical department had no issues.
Entering the sound proofed room he saw roughly twenty young students, eighteen male, two female. A few had borrowed school guitars, Yamaha RGX A2's. The rest had their own guitars. He smiled upon seeing a few Epiphone Les Paul's, and his smile grew upon seeing an Epiphone SG. Without saying anything or introducing himself he opened his hardshell case, and unpacked his vintage 1961 Gibson SG. He plugged himself into an already set up marshall amp, and shook the teacher's hand before placing the guitar around his neck. He removed a Dunlop Hard pick from his mouth, and gently strummed along the 6 strings. After a few quick adjustments, he began.
His index finger started on the third fret, 6th string, and from there in a quick blitz of picking he made his way down to the first string, fifteenth fret. Before any student said anything, he brought his fingers back up in reverse order. He stopped inbetween the 5th and 7th fret on the 4th string to hammer on and pull off those two notes quickly for a few moments before ending on the 3rd fret, 6th string, with a minor bend. "Gentlemen and pair of ladies, that is the Pentatonic Minor scale in G. A very easy progression using only your first and third finger. What i'll be showing you today is how to stay out of the standard scale boxes- how to mix them up. If we have enough time, i'll start you all on building your own blues solo. My name is Shamino Warhen- twenty years old- and born in Swedish. The next Yngwie Malmsteen." He gave a grin.
