Taru was looking through the rows and rows of CD's. New bands everywhere....Taru was amazed by the vast collection of the music store and started wandering around looking for some other sections. Man all this music. But what to buy? Taru was so confused on what to get since everything was a different type of music. Taru finally stopped at a section for Tai Chi. Like kung fu but slow. Taru looked at one of them and took it from the shelf. Tai Chi for the soul. Greattttt. Taru shrugged and held the CD case in his hand and kept looking for some music.Taru then stumbled upon a girl. Hmm...Who's she? Taru observed her for a few moments. Older. Pretty too. Taru smiled and stood next to her looking at the music she was looking at. Kinda ackward music whatever these are. But cool. Taru looked at her with a smile and politely said. "Hi any luck finding some good music? I'm having a horrible time." Taru scratched the back of his head as he looked at her music selection. Still baffled what kind of music they are. Taru waited for her response still smiling. He felt for his cell phone to see if it was vibrating. Guess not. Taru wished Araxie would call him. She hasn't for the longest time ever. His smile turned into a frown but then he was still waiting for the mysterious gir's response. So he tried to keep his sadness insde.

It had been a fine day to explore around a bit, and Ran somehow had stumbled upon a music store. Of course, being quite fond of music, Ran went in without hesitation. There were so many different sections so it wouldn't hurt to stay around here for a few hours and look through everything, if she could. She was rather varied when it came to what genre on music she listened to. She held her eyes low and her usual gentle smile played upon her lips as she went through various artist in certain sections, recording a few that she may want to buy and would come back for later.
Upon her wandering, she had found a section where it was mostly Tai Chi music. Tai Chi...that was something she missed doing. The songs were always so calm and beautiful. She pulled a cd out slowly and read it, "Zen..." she whispered, before someone suddenly began to speak with her. She was startled, no less, blinking a little in confusion before finally taking in that a boy was speaking to her. She smiled a little more and shook her head gently at his question. "Yes and no." she began, placing the CD back onto the shelf. "I haven't seen anything that poed my interest. I saw a few CDs whith good bands of course, but nothing I'm desperate to by. I guess I'm still looking for that ONE CD that I'll find and really want to buy."
The boy seemed very joyful, and such a mood always managed to rub off on her, usually. "I'm sure you'll find something as well soon." she added tapping her chin with her index finger, thinking of any possible titles she liked. Her mind drew a blank unfortunately and she soon gave up. She'd go back to searching however the sudden from on the boy's face had her curious.
"Is something wrong?" she asked softly, crossing her arms and titling her head. "I don't mean to pry, but you suddenly seem troubled." She tried her best to give off a rather amicable aura. She didn't want to sound like a snoop or anything, more like she was concerned for him. 'Oh, we haven't even been acquainted yet.' she thought. "My name is Ran Ling Xiao, by the way. It's nice to meet you..."
Ran herself seemed troubled in a way, but it didn't quite show that much. Regardless of that, she continued to keep up a cheery air, always finding it nice to meet someone new at certain times. Luckily this was one of them, otherwise she may of simply responded in a short answer and walked away, going along with her business.

Taru looked at the girl who actually responded to him instead of walking away not carring about his existence. Something a lot of peopel did now a days. Due to them being complete ass holes. Taru smiled at the girl and frowned after she asked if he was troubled. He was. And she even gave him her name. Kindess. Something this girl had. Taru nodded his head after he asked if he was troubled. Cause it was true. He had an issue to deal with.
"Love comes and goes. For me, it goes. Twice so far."
Taru frowned and looked down. Oh yeah your name genius. Something Taru forgot about constantly to mention to another person. Taru scratched the back of his head against with his head still looking down. His happy upbeat mood gone and turned into a sort of depressed one. He finally opened his mouth to speak to Ran Ling Xiao. Damn thats a long name. Taru looked at looked her and finally spoke.
"The name's Taru. And if you want I can help you look for that ONE CD that you really want to buy. I have nothing else to do. And least I'll have some company."
Taru smiled slightly at what he said. Yes, it'd be nice to have someone to talk to. Someone to walk with. A friend. Something Taru lacked. And he already lacked lovers so he needed some friends to make up for it. Taru put his head up a little with a weak smile and looked into Ran's eyes with some sadness and a little happiness.
"And may I call you Ran. Ran Ling Xiao will be tiresome to repeat alot. Just wondering."
Taru suddenly became shy like he always did with girls. Friend, girlfriend, wife. Wait what I'm like 17. Taru took a breath waiting for Ran's response to him. He really was pretty hopeless in life. Barley any friends. No one to love. Is this his fate? Or will something brighten up for him. Taru hoped for the second option. He sighed and scratched the back of his head again while closing his eyes.

Love. How sad it could be...and yet how beautiful. Luckily for her, she hadn't gone through a break up ever before, Dain being Ran's first boyfriend ever. She also hoped she wouldn't have to go through that either. Even so, Ran could always give a few encouraging words to the boy. It was in her nature to do so. Of course, she didn't speak up yet, as it seemed this fellow wasn't quite done speaking yet. There it was, she finally learned this boys name. 'Taru, hmm?' she thought. She laughed softly when he asked if he could simply call her Ran. Of all the times Ran would say 'You can just call me Ran.' when she'd introduce herself, this time would of been the most appropriate. Oops. Oh well.
"Well, Taru." Ran began, brushing her black hair out of her eyes. "I'm sorry you had such horrid luck in love. I'm sure you'll find that someone just for you. Take your time, is all I can say." She turned around slowly, glancing back at Taru and tossing her head to the side a little in a way that meant "follow". She began to walk towards a new section before she continued to reply. "It's a pleasure meeting you, Taru. It's very nice of you to want to help me. I doubt I'll find the CD today though." she said with a shrug. "Doesn't hurt to try though. As for my name, I'd rather you simply call me Ran, anyway." She turned to face him and winked. "Everyone else does, it wouldn't be fair to force you to speak such a long name."
She turned around and began to look through other shelves, frowning wryly at how she didn't know have the artists. Either they weren't very known, or Ran needed to listen to the radio more. Either way, there was obviously nothing for her in that pile. "Well I'm in a stump. Any kind of music you'd recommend, Taru?" she asked curiously, crossing her arms and sighing. "I'm always open to new artists and bands if you know any that you find particularily good."
