Audrey, I am in love with you. With everything I am, I love you. I love you... ..Love you..
The jingle from the small bell that hung over the top of the door as a new customer entered snapped Audrey out of her small daze. Lifting her head from leaning against her hand, she sat up straight with her back against the chair. Her hands clutched into small fists as she rubbed her eyes some. She seemed to have drifted off for awhile since the ice cubes inside a cup of Coca-Cola she had previously ordered disappeared within the drink.
I can't get him out of my head, she pondered, a small smirk appearing across her pouting lips, I guess that's what happens when you fall in love.
Letting out a small chuckle, her hand slowly lifted the cup to her lips and took a sip. The taste was very watery and Audrey knew she would not want to continue to drink it. She placed it back down onto the table and twisted her face into that of disgust.
"Well that was a waste," she slid from out of the chair and placed money onto the table for the waitress who had helped her to pick it up after. Looking up at the clock on the wall, she could see that she spent a good 10 minutes day-dreaming. Tugging at the ends of her skirt and pushing away some hair from her face, she made her way towards the exit.
Her eyes glanced around at the people enjoying their small meals and chatting with friends. The mood in this place was of nothing but completely serene. No arguing, no cursing, and not even a tear from babies that sat happily with their mothers. It seemed like the perfect place to be for Audrey, she only wished Kyu could have been here with her to share it.
She pushed against the front door and was welcomed to the outside by a brisk wind. Her hair tossed out of her face, exposing her crystal blue eyes. Letting go of the door as she stepped out, she began walking. Not knowing exactly where she would go, since Audrey was a 'free spirit'.
"I'll go where ever the wind takes me," she mumbled, and a immediate thought of Pocahontas popped into her mind. Thinking of how she jumped off a cliff and into the river.
Hm, I should try that sometime.
Walking on, her mind wandered off about the only guy who truly knew how to make Audrey smile. Kyukaku was the best thing to happen to her and she was completely grateful to have met him. Just hearing his name made her get butterflies in her stomach.
He's just amazing.

"You're the light of his life, hm?"
Despite the inflection at the end, the tone of the soft voice made the sentence sound more like a statement rather than a question. The speaker stood off to Audrey's side, leaning against the wall just at the entrance to the alleyway between the two buildings. The wind blew his long dark hair across his face, causing the man to lift his left hand in response, placing it underneath the flowing locks and keeping his face uncovered as he studied the girl's face. That's her... What a perfect day for a bloodbath. As the gust of air slowed and eventually faded, Trent pulled his remaining hand out of his pocket, his left leaving his face and falling to his side as he contemplated how best to achieve his goal. Surely Kyukaku hadn't told her about him, as Trent believed that Tyler would be more prone to simply try and forget his past experiences with the oldest living Rydell boy.
It was time to remind him of that fun.
"He wanted me to meet you, but I didn't have the chance to meet up with you two last time. The name's Trent. Nice to finally see you."
He extended his right arm, obviously waiting for her to take it in a handshake, before dropping it back to his side. The corners of his mouth tugged upwards, the beginnings of a smile able to be seen on his face, appearing as if he were being friendly. Such acting was second nature to him, as he was forced to keep his more... violent tendancies in check in public areas, else he be overwhelmed by the law enforcement in this city. Still, should he manage to pull her into the alley behind him, things would go more easily than out in the open.
"Hey, you wanna give me a hand? I bought a necklace for my girlfriend, but when I was cutting between these buildings, I dropped the damn thing between the wall and the dumpster. It's too heavy to move, but you've got thinner arms than me, wanna give it a try? I can't quite reach it."
He turned and began to stroll down the alley, heading towards the dumpster that was placed a fair distance down the path from them. Now, it was all up to Audrey, and whether she would help a "friend in need".

An unfamiliar voice startled Audrey as she stopped and turned her attention to the stranger who stood at the entrance of an alleyway.
"Excuse me?," she asked with a slight raise of her eyebrow.
Gently pushing aside her hair from her face so she could get a better look at him, she couldn't help but feel her heart stop beating for a moment. She did not know exactly why, but somehow she felt that she should not get involved with him. Her eyes twisted into confusion as she examined his face closely. His long hair almost shielded his entire face, if it weren't for the wind, his olive green eyes would be completely covered.
He knows Kyukaku.
Audrey's lip spread into a friendly smile as her hand reached out to shake his already out-stretched hand, "Nice to meet you too, Trent. I'm Audrey, but I'm guessing you already know that."
She let out a small giggle as her nerves began to calm down. If he knew Kyu, he was obviously not a danger in any sort of way to her. Letting go of his hand, she tugged down at her skirt, then placing one hand on her hip while the other hanged at her side.
He began to tell her that he had lost a necklace he had bought for his girlfriend and wondered if she would be willing to help him find it. This sent a small suspicion into the back of her mind, but she set it aside.
Stop being paranoid and just help him, she yelled at herself, internally.
"Um, sure. Why not?," she nodded and followed him into the alley. As she looked around, she noticed how small the alley was, since the buildings that formed it were quite close together. It was also a very long one. As they continued walking towards the dumpster, Audrey took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She was nervous, but having no real reason to be. Her mind and her gut feeling were complete opposites when it came to certain situations she encounters.
Finally making their way to the dumpster, Audrey leaned on the dumpster, holding onto the front and she tilted her head to try and get a look of where the necklace might be. The dumpster was very close to the wall and was difficult to even look behind. She crouched down, making sure her knees stayed close together since she was wearing a skirt and not to touch the ground, since it was very dirty. Audrey turned her body towards Trent, while she stretched out her arm behind the dumpster. She turned her head to try and follow her arm, but still, nothing was visible.
"Are you sure it's back here?," she turned her head to look back at him,"I can't feel anything. Maybe somewhere else?"

"Thanks. I'm glad you're so helpful."
You've made my job so much easier. A soft smile formed on his lips, the physical manifestation of his satisfaction. Even if he had planned out his request for Audrey's assistance, it could not have gone any smoother. Snickering to himself in his mind, Trent pointed towards the corner of the dumpster, where the "necklace" was supposed to be located, and stood a foot behind Audrey as she looked. The perfect distance for what he had in store for the poor girl, for as she looked back to question whether the oldest Rydell had gotten his facts straight, she would find the sole of his right foot heading rapidly towards her face, likely to slam Audrey's head against the brick wall from the force.
"I'll admit, I told a bit of a lie before. Meeting me was probably the absolute last thing that Tyler would want you to do. Ah well, what's done is done."
Running his tongue along his teeth, Trent felt the old excitement beginning to rise up within him. It had been so long since he'd attacked an unsuspecting victim, most recently his prey had all challenged him to fights and such. I'd almost forgotten what it felt like... His hands worked fast, undoing his jacket in order to gain access to his more lethal weapons, the twin daggers referred to as Death and Glory, his right hand reaching into the inside pocket and withdrawing Death from its holster.
"Let's play a game, shall we? I'll think of a number between one and ten, and if you guess it, you can go. Three chances, and then you lose, and well, if you lose... I'll just have to come up with a suitable punishment."
Grinning, Trent squatted next to Audrey, waiting intently for her first guess, and calmly going over what sorts of punishment he could inflict that would be effective when she got it wrong. After all, no one had ever won his game, because Trent picked the same number every time, but one that was unlikely to be thought of by the average person.

In a split second, Audrey went to calmly looking for a necklace for a new-found friend, to having her face kicked into the sturdy brick wall behind her. She slumped down onto her bottom while her head laid to her side, her eyes closed.
A few seconds passed and her eyes slowly began to open once again, her vision slightly dazed. Her hand slowly came up to the back of her head as she rubbed it. She could feel a bump slowly beginning to surface, as her eyes glanced back up at Trent. Listening to him, he explained how his story of finding a necklace was a complete lie. And the fact that Kyukaku actually wouldn't want Audrey to meet Trent made her feel completely empty inside.
"What the hell is your--," but before she could finish, Audrey watched in pure shock as Trent pulled out a dagger from his pocket. Like a deer caught in headlights, Audrey could not finish her sentences or even speak one word. Her eyes widen with fear as her lower lip began to tremble.
Oh no, is he serious?!
She tried to back up more, but she knew a brick wall laid behind her, preventing her from moving any further away from him. Audrey's eyes shifted side to side as she tried to find a way to escape from him. It proved unsuccessful since he had cornered her and she was much too afraid to fight. That certain bad experience from when she was younger forced her into turning into a helpless puppy when it came to weapons.
He told her of a game he wanted to play with her. If she correctly guessed it, he would set her free. And if not, he would probably do the unthinkable to Audrey.
She bit down on her lower lip as she stared down at the dagger that he held in front of her, then glared her piercing blue eyes back into his, "How can I be so sure that you even picked a number? For all I know, you could be lying, just to get my hopes up."
Three chances is all I have, he has got to be lying. He wants me to guess so he can just say I'm wrong and then do whatever his sick mind has in store for me.
Audrey's chest rose and fell at an irregular pace. She was still nervous about the dagger and having Trent close enough to her to strike at any moment. She shifted over to her side while still staring directly at him, "And what exactly do you have against me? I don't even know you."

Outright ignoring Audrey's questions, Trent licked his lips in anticipation, though perhaps not quite for the reasons Audrey may have believed. Trent was disgusted by her dirty blood, and there was little that could convince him to taint himself in order to perform depraved acts of a less... violent... nature. Still, that wouldn't stop him from causing her pain equivalent to, if not worse than what he had intended for Lisa Gavyns. His left hand came forward slowly, the pointer finger wagging side to side in a mocking fashion.
"Wrong. You have to pick a number."
His eyes widened slightly, a small giggle rising from his throat as he suddenly snapped his hand forward, grasping Audrey's left wrist while he jabbed forward with his right hand, driving Death directly into the palm of her hand. Should Audrey move, it would only make it worse, as the blade was aimed to fit between the bones and major arteries, and should she move it in an attempt to dodge the attack, Trent's aim would be "off", and possibly much more damaging.
Swiftly withdrawing his weapon, Trent would then remain where he was, squatting next to Audrey, grinning happily like a little kid. He absently wiped the blood off of Death on her skirt, cleaning it of her dirty blood.
"Now. Let's try this again. You've only got two chances left."

"Wrong. You have to pick a number."
The taunting motion of his finger in front of her eyes made her heart sink to the pit of her stomach. He completely ignored her questions and it seemed to satisfy him either way. The chuckle escaping from his lips and his eyes widening frightened Audrey. Her misty blue eyes slowly began to water as she could tell that Trent had no intent of NOT hurting her. His hand snapped out so quickly and grabbed ahold of Audrey's wrist, she literally jumped back and felt her back hit the brick wall behind her.
"NO! PLEASE!," she screamed as she begged him to release her. Too afraid to move, she watched in twisted horror as the dagger was driven directly into the palm of her hand. Her eyes shut closed as she shrieked in agony. The tears fell down from her eyes and crashed down onto her skirt as she lowered her head, sobbing. She could feel the warm crimson liquid escape from her palm and travel down her forearm. Audrey was much too afraid to at her wound, inflicted by the madman.
His voice startled her and caused her shoulders to rise in shock. He told her to guess once again, and that she now had only two chances left. And for that moment, Audrey could not think of a single number. All she could contemplate was what he would do to her if she guessed incorrectly for the next two tries.
Feeling him wipe the blood on her skirt made her feel so disgusting. All she wanted to do was get away from him, but she knew that if she tried, the consequences could even be worse.
Exhaling slowly, feeling her body tremble with nervousness; her eyes glanced back at Trent.
Tears still traveled down her cheeks as she looked away from him and down at her skirt,"I-is it...," she stopped herself as her other hand was brought up to her face as she wiped away her tears. She looked back up at him and stated,"...three?"

"Awwww... so close! But close doesn't cut it, in this game. Or rather, it does..."
Trent never ceased to amuse himself, and his pun on words caused him to laugh out loud once more as he reached for Audrey's right wrist this time. Might as well give her a matching set. In mockery of our Lord... His hand clenched much more tightly this time, just in case Audrey's last punishment spurred her to resist this one, before he shoved Death into her palm in a similiar fashion to her other hand. In one swift move, he retracted the dagger, wiping it on her skirt in the exact same way as before, as if caught in a rut.
"It's a shame, really. You probably have your whole life ahead of you. A family. Love. Children. All the things you won't experience. Ahhh, well. At least you'll be freed from your dirty blood."
Slowly, Trent brought the blade up Audrey's leg, up to her stomach, where the tip would drag in slow circles as the psychopathic murderer waited for her final guess.
One more soul to watch my grand battle in the afterlife. My audience is growing...

That maniacal laughing blurted out of Trent's mouth and echoed in Audrey's ear once more. She was wrong, for the second time. Her wounded hand clenched into a fist out of fear, hoping that he would not stab her hand once again.
Oh no..!
She was wrong, once again. He was indeed going to stab her, but her other hand is the one that would suffer this time. In a blink of an eye, the dagger pierced through her open palm; feeling his hand grip tightly around her wrist. Her eyes shut rapidly again and screamed as the tears shot down from her eyes. No words could describe the pain she felt at that moment, all she could do was scream and cry. And even that was not enough to make Trent stop.
She looked at him, her vision blurred by the tears in her eyes. He wiped away the blood on her skirt again and spoke of her life as if it were about to end.
"W-what do you m.... m-mean..?," she stuttered. Audrey stiffened up as she felt his blade on her leg then to the middle of her stomach, drawing small invisible circles. She stared at him, with hope in her eyes that he would not go as far as..
Killing me....
She had one last guess, and she had to make sure she really thought about this. He was a tricky one, so he most likely would pick a number that no one could guess. But what could that number be? Then it hit her, maybe it's a number between the regular numbers a person would pick. She thought of all the number that could exist between the numbers of one to ten.
"Trent...," she was staring at him as she continued to feel those circles being drawn on her stomach,"...would the answer be..," she paused. She was scared of her answer but dared herself to say it anyway.
Life is about taking risks, and this sure as hell is one of them.
"...Pi?," she muttered.

Suddenly, the blade stopped it's motion, simply resting its tip against Audrey's stomach. Trent's face dropped it's grin, becoming serious once more as he contemplated her answer and what it meant.
She'd actually gotten it.
In all truth, he was at a loss as to what to do. No one had ever won before, and the rules of the game were never broken. Yet, here, the person he wanted at this moment to kill the most, had managed to guess the one answer he never changed. Sighing, he slowly returned Death to its holster in his jacket, opting instead for his lighter and cigarettes. In a matter of moments, the tobacco was filling his lungs, though during the light-up process, he never took his eyes off of Audrey's face, staring at her with a neutral look. Taking a deep drag, he blew the smoke off to the side, away from her oddly enough, then smirked.
"Looks like you win."
Trent stood up, bringing himself out of his squat at a leisurely pace, unconcerned with whether the wounded girl would believe him or not. Instead, he'd simply hover above her, covering Audrey with his shadow as he folded his arms in front of him.
"Now... in return for sparing your life, I expect you to do something for me. Run home to your lover. Let him kiss away your pain, taking comfort in each other's arms. Make every last minute with him one of the best. Because when I gut him like a pig, all you'll have left to cling on to will be those memories. And that's when the real fun begins between you and I, Audrey Pierce."
He let the words sink in for a moment, before sending a sharp kick at her side, one last physical reminder of his presence before he turned and walked down the alleyway. If she didn't manage to make it to a hospital, then he'd simply find another way to torture Kyukaku, though he preferred she survived. After all, she was smart, something that impressed him.
Torturing her would be much more entertaining then the usual victims.

Her irregular breathing became more ordinary as she watched that wicked grin fade away from his lips. Looking down, she saw that the blade has stopped moving and just pointed at her stomach. Audrey was not quite exactly sure why he was acting the way he was right now. Unless...
Did I actually get it.. right?!
She wanted to jump for joy and shove it all in Trent's face, but she knew that would be impossible since he might ignore the fact that she was correct. He would go to the extent of killing her right there and then because of the embarrassment he would be suffering from her childish teasing manner.
Letting the thought escape from her mind, she let out a sigh of relief as Trent placed his weapon inside his jacket once again, disappearing from Audrey's eyes. He then removed a lighter and cigarette, which could be to calm his own confusion. His cold, dead eyes never looked away from Audrey, and neither did she look away. She proved to herself and to him, that was indeed smart enough to beat his games.
Audrey simply nodded to his remark of her winning. He stood over her as she brought both her hands into her laps, feeling the scarlet fluid travel down her skirts and land on her legs. She remained on the ground as he told her what he wanted her to accomplish for him.
She blinked as he explained to her that she should run to her lover, and be comforted by him and to enjoy every moment. It seemed Trent wanted her to enjoy her happiness with the one she loved, for the time being.
"Because when I gut him like a pig, all you'll have left to cling on to will be those memories."
Suddenly it felt as if Audrey could no longer breathe. This statement was the last thing she would ever want to hear, especially about someone she cared so deeply for. But before she could even ask him why, she felt a rapid kick to her side which knocked her down onto her hands. Her hair fell over her face, preventing him from seeing the new tears that trickled down the sides of her face.
She knew that he had already begun to leave, and did not even care if Audrey bleed to death from her wounds. Audrey just sat there, staring down at her hands, watching as the newly inflicted wounds continued to bleed. She knew she had to get to a hospital right away, but she just sat there. All she could managed to do was mutter a simple word..
"Coward."
