A dark BMW Z4 was driving down the dark streets of San Francisco. It was about 7 in the evening but as everyone knows in winter the sun sets rather early. A moment or two later it made a turn and stopped in the parking lot that had a couple of other cars in it. Moments later the engine went silent and the lights were turned off as a man opened the driver’s door and the dark leather shoe with the nose turned slightly up and a heel hit the concrete making a click. Slowly he stood up and looked around. There were a couple cars in the parking lot and a couple of random people in the street minding their own business. With a simple motion man closed the door of his car and started walking towards the trunk at the same time reaching into the pocket of his jacket and pulling out a pack of cigarettes. A couple of seconds later the pack was once again in the pocket and a single cigarette was pressed between mans’ lips as he reached into the pocket of his jacket and pulled out a lighter. As he stood in front of the trunk of his car he opened the metal lighter and ignited it burning the end of his cigarette. One swift wrist motion later the lighter was closed and put back into the pocket. K’s face was twisted out with a small smile that formed in the corners of his lips as he opened the trunk and revealed a single briefcase lying there. Without any hesitation K took the handle of it and with the thud closed the trunk walking away from his car before pressing the button on his keys and locking it. With a calm pace K walked towards the stairs to the basement of one of the buildings that surrounded the parking lot. Walking down the stairs K came fact to face with a closed door but seemingly without any doubt he extended his left hand and pushed the door open. It was unlocked so without any problem K moved in and appeared in a little hallway with one door and a huge guy standing next to it that looked at K and when K came close enough he simply spoke with a visible boredom in his voice. “No kids allowed.” But seemingly K was ready for that and a second later he without any words or even looking at the guy raised his left hand with two fingers extended upwards and a driver’s license between them with the visible picture of K. The guard looked at it closely taking it from K and then looked back at K before handing it back to him and waving him that he could come in. As K went through the door a large area opened up before his eyes. It was one place that he really enjoyed. The shooting range. It took him couple days to find one in San Francisco but with the guiding hand of the internet everything is possible. K walked towards the lady behind the counter and giving her a couple of bills and refusing a weapon K moved into the booth that he was given for an hour. There were a couple of other people there also practicing their marksmanship skills but K did not pay any attention to them. With a calm pace he walked right into his little booth and took one paper target that had an upper human body drawn on it. Placing it on the little attachment K pressed the button and the target went back for about 15 meters. Then he placed the briefcase on the little table and opened it revealing the little toys that K had. Two 9 millimetre fully automatic pistols and a bunch of fully loaded clips. They were two different sizes, the normal ones and the extended clips. Without hesitation K took one pistol out with his right hand moving the upper part of the gun back until it clicked and did not move K took the extended clip and placed it into the gun. It was far larger than the handle because of the amount of bullets K extended the gun towards the target and with his thumb pulled the safety up until it was in fully automatic mode. At the same time K placed little earphones into his ears and pressed play on his mp3 and when the upper part finally moved back into place placing the first bullet into the barrel that way fully loading the gun loud rock music filled K’s ears and he with a smoking cigarette and a twisted smile pulled the trigger without the intention of letting it go. Seconds later the target was ripped into shreds. ((Yes I am bored.))

It was evening, and Teneile was alone as she tended to be in the evenings when her father was at work and her house seemed as empty as ever. She sighed and pulled out a Berretta 9mm from the hiding place where her father kept it and she placed it in the foam padded case before snapping the small clips closed as her hand closed around the small case with the emblem on the front. She smiled as she grabbed the keys to her VW bug, it was a soft apple green color with white rims, a girly car to be sure but then there was nothing really wrong with that at all. It wasn't far to the indoor shooting range she spent time at, it was technically illegeal for her to be there but she had connections and that tended to come in handy.
Pulling up at the shooting range she got out of the car and popped the trunk getting out her small bag of bullets and earplugs as well as the gun. She smiled as her red hair blew in the flared around her dancers body for a moment as she closed the trunk and turned. Her boots sounded on the concrete echoing in the indoor place as she nodded to the man behind the counter.
"Evening Joe." she said in her happy voice.
"Ahhh Ms. Sen." he called out as he watched her walk around the corner.
There was only one other person here at this time of night. She smiled and took the section right next to the stranger that was demolishing his own target. He too, like her, was shooting 9mm at the moment and so she wouldn't need her earplugs right now. She smirked softly as she smiled at the stranger and when he stopped shooting his hole ridden target she smiled at him.
"You're not too bad." she said with a smile her blue eyes dancing a bit as she widened her stance to steady her small body. She lifted her arms and tightened the muscles in the wrist as she took proper grip and closed her right eye, she might be right handed but she shot left handed. She pulled the trigger three times and each one landed in the center of her target she grinned. It payed to be a police officer's daughter when he taught you how to shoot from a young age.
"Nothing like letting of some steam." she said putting her gun down for a moment and opening her bag to switch to hollow points. "I'm Teneile, it's odd having someone else here with me in the evenings, but nice. What's your name?" she asked curiously. She pulled a rubber band out of her bag and pulled up her hip length hair into a pony tail so it brushed the back of her tight fitted black dress shirt. she smiled as she took the bullets out of her gun and switched them for the highly more potent hollow points.

The last smoking shell fell on the ground as the guns’ upper part moved back only to click and stop. K watched through the smoke of his cigarette as the little shreds fell on the floor and only a damaged peace of paper hung on the hook. It lacked the right part of its head and a couple parts of torso. K’s style was not only to make sure that the target pas hit, he enjoyed causing as much damage as possible. With slow moves he put the hand down and turned the music off with another hand. His eyes slightly focused on the target so that he could see where he missed. Yet as the music went out his concentration was disturbed by a voice. K slowly moved his head to the side since he was standing with his body slightly to the left and his right hand previously extended. His grey eyes quickly found the owner of the voice as she aimed her gun and fired a couple shots. K remained silent as he noticed the bullets hitting the target dead on. Unfortunately he was not as precise since he believed that even though one bullet is enough to get the job done five bullets can do the job even better. With that thought his eyes once more focused on the girl taking notice of the tight fitting shirt… and other stuff.
“That would be K.” he said as he looked at her with still keeping his stance. With that he would move his right hand over the little counter next to his suitcase and with a little motion of a thumb empty clip would fall on it. Then he would take another this time simple clip out of the suitcase and load the gun once more speaking that the same time. “This is not about letting out some steam…” His words were simple yet emotionless carrying the scent of a Russian accent, with one motion the upper part of the gun clicked as it moved back into its place. Yet K placed it on the counter at the same time taking the cigarette out with right hand and slowly blowing the smoke. “It’s about entertainment. I prefer other ways of letting it out.” K finished as he placed the cigarette back in his mouth and picked up the other gun also loading it and placing near the first one. With that done he pressed the button on the wall and the target started to move towards him. It was too messed up for another round anyway.
While it did K turned to the girl. His face was calm as always as he waited for the target to come or the girl to respond without any care about witch comes first.

K. What an odd name truly. It must be some sort of nick name or something perhaps he, like herself, didn't like his real name and had resorted to something not only easy but simple enough to be remembered. Her own real first name was Riona, whomever had come up with that name should have been shot, tarred, feathered, and dragged behind some auspicious stationwagon until it all fell off. Rinse and repeat. Regardless she nodded at his name and closed her right eye once more and unloaded the rest of the clip into the head and heart of the sillouhette that stood at the other end of the chain.
She placed her gun down on the counter and slid the clip out and began replacing the bullets one by one using the small device that pushed the bullets down easier. She liked to shoot not only for letting off some steam but because it was fun. People seemed to be afraid of guns but really it was the person carrying the gun that was the reason for fear. For a gun left alone cannot hurt anyone or anything, it takes a person to pull the triger, to chamber the round, to cock the slide, to do so many of the small things that it actually takes to shoot a gun and hit another person.
"I know what you mean." she said in answer to his response. "There is just something exhilerating about shooting. I don't know what it is exactly but I feel strangely at peace when I'm at the range even though my adreneline is pumping through my system like mad I can think straight and it's just.. I don't know.. fun." she said with a shrug and a smile.
"Do you have any other guns besides the Berretta? What is your gun of choice? If you don't mind my asking." she said sliding the clip back into her weapon and engaging the safety as she sat it down the muzzle pointed towards her target but her attention on the man next to her.

K stood there simply listening to her. It wasn’t like he agreed with the girl completely but at the same time he didn’t say she was wrong. One way or another K simple glanced at her with his usual cold grey eyes and stayed quiet while she finished. At that point his target has already approached him and stopped. K took a second to look at the damage he caused. If it was a real person then he would be dead, a couple of hits to the head one in the heart few in the stomach and a few more in random not too lethal places. Overall he was improving slightly. But since he was now sort of having a conversation K knew it was rude not to answer to instead of just speaking K decided to show off a little.
Crossing his hands on his for a second K looked at the target as his fingers gripped something hard in his jacket. Then with one simple move he threw his hands into the sides. For a second it might have looked rather stupid but then the sound of paper hitting the ground could be heard as all the target was sliced n the neck area and fell down keeping only the head still on the hook. If one would look closely there was a shiny object in the right hand of K, a little two edged throwing knife that he usually carried with himself. It didn’t have a handle, just a blade and a little metal peace that served as the balance to the blades weight so K held all of his fingers extended keeping it in place from the top and his thumb pressing tightly from the bottom. He had a few more of these with him just in case.
“I generally don’t use guns. They make too much noise. It’s irritating. I prefer knives instead.” K finished placing the knife back and picking up the dismembered target in order to change it into a new one. “And you? By the looks of it you are into the guns quite a bit.” K said as he picked up a new target and placed it on the hook. His face never changing as he once more pressed the button and waited for the target to move away far enough at the same time taking the cigarette out of his mouth and extinguishing it into the wall before throwing into the trash can. Now he simply waited for her to reply keeping an eye on the target.
((Sorry for being late.))

Teneile watched as the target stopped moving. The man beside her reached into his coat and grabbed something. She wasn't scared though, more that she was curious. Suddenly his hand, so quick she couldn't see what exactly he was doing moved out in and arc and a few seconds after he stopped the paper fell having been sliced. She cocked her brow as a smile grew on her face. He explained how he liked knives more than guns. That guns were too noisy and she had to admit they did have a tendancy to get a bit noisy but it wasn't that bad if you knew what you were doing.
"True. That was a really neat move. I guess I'm more just comfortable with them, and it never hurts to know how to defend yourself. But, it also just is like a hobby. I mean I don't go around shooting things, I only use the range, but I just like to work out my stresses here." she said with a shrug.
"So.. do you go to school at Hircine high? Or did you graduate already?" she asked pulling herself up to sit on the bench next to her gun she faced the guy that was standing next to her. She was curious about him, she had never met another young guy at this time of night at the range, and she really didn't know many people around SF just yet.

K simply stood there as the target went further away his thoughts drifting off as the sound of the girl’s voice loomed in the background. Hear her say something about defending yourself and he instantly thought about fighting remembering all those who he has fought with him. He had to admit, he wasn’t all that great in it but at least he could hold his own. A silent click brought him back to the reality as the target finally stopped and he did catch her question. He repeated all of her monologue in his mind that he first filed off as non important and not interesting. It would not be too interesting if he simply answered yes or no. So then taking one gun from his table with his right hand K looked at the target before he slowly spoke his voice as calm and as quiet as it always is.
“Guns are not for self defense. They are for attacking. And if you are attacked it is too inconvenient and impractical to reach for the gun even if your attacker has only a knife. You might be dead before you even touch it.” He commented on her remark about self defense. Then he extended his right hand and took aim. A second later he pressed the trigger a couple times and the paper twitched as the bullets went through it. “I am a senior. And you?” K asked as he lowered his hand and looked at the target.
((OMG shortness!!!))

Teneile looked over at the guy. She wasn't shooting right now but still sitting on the little table that had been provided. She was more into talking she had really left the house because it was empty and she hated being alone. Having someone to talk to however untalkative he was gave her something else to do. So she leaned against the rail that seperated his part from hers and watched him listen to her before he held his gun up and told her his answers.
"I'm a junior." she said with a smile as she watched him.
"And you're right, I guess a gun isn't the best for self defense. But it isn't like I carry one around with me. It's more for home defense. But even still, it isn't like I know how to fight, nor anyone that is going to take the time to teach me. So I suppose if I was ever in that kind of situation I'm screwed." she said with a shrug.
"You seem well versed in weaponry though. Where did you learn all this stuff?" she asked him curiously.
He wasn't overly friendly but he wasn't an ass. In fact he was more like a mystery one she wanted to get to know a bit better. She had a fleeting thought about inviting him over for something to drink, but first she would see how this whole conversation thing went first. If they got along or if he seemed a bit interested in her she might invite him back to her place it was empty and lonely and she had quite a bit to drink alcohol and other wise.
((sorry mine's short too!!))
