OOC Note: I can't believe I haven't made my First Day thread yet. O.O>>;;
...
The warm sun saids its goodbyes with a glimpse of dark orange and then fled behind the clouds, quickly disappearing out of sight. The clouds that were once illuminated by the bright yellow star darkened every minute and soon settled at a really dark blue. The entire town went silent, leaving the echoes of bird cries to take over. The fresh warm air scented with fragrance transformed into a strong, cold wind that swept remainings of trash from the streets and whistled a gentle tune. The first star sparkled in the twilight-like sky.
Across a couple of streets, the entrance to a tall apartment building creaked open and a figure stepped out. The enormous shadows hid his appearance. Jim stepped out of the overwhelming shadows, and examined the surrounding streets. "Hmm... weird. Where's all the traffic?" he wondered. Brushing it away, he crossed the street with ease and turned a corner. It took him a couple of blocks to get to his school, but eventually he reached it. "Why does everything seem so quiet?"
He lifted his arm and checked his wristwatch. " 3 : 29 PM " "Damn! I'm late, I'm late, I'm-" he then made a quick survey of the surrounding area, "my freaking clock is not right! It should be AM and not PM."
Jim quickly lifted an arm and knocked the side of his head. "What is wrong with me? I should've noticed that earlier. I knew there was something wrong." "I guess I wasn't fully awake."
Jim sighed, and took a few minutes to set his clock right. He took a deep breath of the cold, moisty air and started down the road again. "Well, I suppose I should give this a meanful ending and take a long, fresh walk."
The hour passed quickly, the dark clouds slowly brightened. The area Jim previously stood in was now completely empty; excluding the buildings and the rats and the trash.

A couple of blocks away, Jim boringly rolled his fingers in circles around eachother, watching them closely. "You are getting sleepy ... you are getting sleepy..." he quietly muttered to himself. It actually wouldn't be a surprise if he actually fell asleep. I mean, it was Four in the morning!
