Ooc: Sorry this is short... I don't have long.
He blinked a few times and returned back to reality from his trance with her. She soon asked him a question, "do you know how to dance?" He thought about it and relaxed back in his chair, crossing his arms. "I've never really done it... so no, I don't. But, I would love to learn sometime. I'm sure it would be safe to assume that YOU do?"
To dance? He thought it WOULD be pretty fun. But, what could he do if he never learned? He can't just miraculously have that knowledge. He never had the opportunity. But, he was sincere when he said he would like to learn.

She smiled and nodded her head. She had a strong passion for dancing, but was very secretive about it. The only thing her parents know is that she's a bit talented in ballet and jazz, due to the lessons, but they wouldn't believe what she did on her free time if she wasn't studying. Dance. She'd go over to the local mirrored gym and dance in front of it, coreographing her own moves and piecing it all together. Some girls in the SAT-prep class would come with her and watch her dance, and sometimes, even join in on the dancing. It was something she really liked to do; although piano and violin were always there for her, it was only every once in a while where Hyunie was completely lost in her own music.
"...you wouldn't mind if I taught you...?"
She questioned, a bright smile on her face. It was then when she felt another presence, and there she was, the waitress, with the food.

She offered to give him lessons. He had never really thought about trying to dance before... it was an artform he never really gave much attention to. But then again, what do people do often whenever they hear beloved music? They dance. So, why not try it? What was there to lose? Besides, he would also gain much more time with this wonderful girl.
He chuckled and nodded, "Alright, I'll take some dance lessons from you Hyunie..." He looked to the waitress and said, "Thank you for your service mam." She smiled and nodded, "Anything to help you lovers along..."
Again, Jahova blushed... and now he thought the waitress was doing it on purpose.

Lovers...?
Again, it seemed that she had stepped into her own little world when the waitress mentioned this word called..love? She blinked twice, before snapping out of her trance, and smiled, her cheeks a little flushed with a light shade of pink. Brown eyes looked over at Jahova, and gave him a soft smile, and gave a small, quiet laugh. Taking her water, she took a sip before setting it back down. Looking at her food, she then remembered how hungry she really was. Giving her attention back towards Jahova, she gave him a brighter smile, parting her pale pink lips to speak.
"Shall we?"

Jahova lifted his head from its embarrassed position and was greeted by two beautiful brown eyes. He smiled and leaned his head to the side and nodded, "Yes, we shall." The waitress had left and Jahova put his hands together in the traditional praying manner and started to give thanks, to himself of course. His mouth was moving though and, if she could read lips, she would see him saying, "Dear heavenly father, thank you for this meal and bless the hands which prepared them..." etc. etc.
Jahova was always very religious, even through all the hell his life had been. In fact, that only brought him closer to God instead of repelling him. Jahova was one who would die in the name of the Father and the Son, and would do it with a smile on his face.
After his prayer he bent his fingers and then relaxed them and took a drink of his water. "I hope you enjoy your meal, I wasn't disappointed in this little place." The look in his eyes whenever he saw her, said a thousand different words... but you can sum them all up with, "I love you". Its funny, how the eyes can know that which the mind and heart isn't even truly aware of yet.

No, Hyunie did not know how to read lips, nor did she ever try to learn. She knew eavesdropping was disrespectful, so she tried her best not to get curious. She assumed he was in prayer, since she, herself, was a bit religious. Just a bit. Growing up in a Christian family, she was to attend church every Sunday, and go to youth group on Friday nights. Though some say that it's a waste to go to church on a Friday, Hyunie found it to be...hm, fun? Every night at least ten or so youth group members would gather, and they'd play games, bible study, have a snack, and just fool around. Of course, because the majority - if not all - were Korean, and a lot came from Korea during the summer to study abroad, they mostly spoke Korean, unless their youth pastor said otherwise.
Although most pray with their eyes closed, as to not get distracted, Hyunie prayed with her eyes open, as if she weren't praying at all. Truth is, Hyunie had a pretty broad imagination, and the second she closes her eyes, a scene plays in her mind. Distractions, distractions...
"I don't think I'll be disappointed.."
With a smile, she looked up for a brief moment, holding his gaze, before eating.

Jahova never had the opportunity to go to church, so his entire faith was based upon the bible. No rituals, no congregational activities. In a sense, he was quite enlightened. There were no corrupt pastors, fathers, or other clergymen, though he always wondered what that was like. The bible preached of brotherhood and other things such as that.
What was going through her mind right now? Will it be full of thoughts of him? Or shall it be focused on school since she said that so much of his time is devoted to it? Was she in a fantasy world of dragons and knights? or was she like him... a mixture of this unknown love and other philosophies? He just... had to know... so he paused for a moment from his eating, "Hyunie, may I ask... what are you thinking?"
He had a feeling, that he wouldn't be disappointed in the least bit...

To tell the truth, Hyunie was much too shy to tell Jahova what she was really thinking, especially if he ended up liking her only as a friend. How embarrassing would that be? Not only that, but the feeling of rejection was surely not a good thing, which is why Hyunie planned on lying - yes, she knows how to lie. Although lying isn't a good thing - actually, not good at all, depending on the situation - Hyunie found that sometimes, it's "better" to take the easy way out.
"How good the food is."
Smiling, she looked down at her foot and took a bite; though at the same time, she was slightly disappointed in the lack of courage.

She shared that in common with him, his true thoughts were far too embarrassing to share right now. But there was just something about this girl that sent his heart racing. Was it her stunning beauty? No, Jahova wasn't a hollow person... though he did admire the way she moved, her soft skin, and brown eyes. Was it her shyness and personality? More than likely... but he just couldn't say one thing in particular.
Then she told him a lie... he could read people really easily. But, he wouldn't pressure her for the truth or anything... he wished nothing but pleasantry toward her. "Yes, this is really good food isn't it?"
He was more lost in his thoughts than he was hungry or thirsty... that was why he was eating slower than normal.

"Yeah..."
Hyunie, not being much of a conversationalist, had no idea what to say next. So, as an excuse not to talk, she ate her food rather quickly, partially because she was a little nervous, and partially because she was starving, and the food tasted pretty good. She remembered though, a long time ago, her mother lied to her saying junk food tasted horrible. Of course, when a birthday party was held during class, she soon found out that junk food tasted abnormally good to her. Especially chocolate.. Gotta love the chocolate!
So without much of a conversation, she would merely look up once in a while to meet his gaze, or just watch him eat, and smile.

He felt awful, inadequate even, since he couldn't think of a good conversational topic. He looked into her eyes and then smiled, almost idly talking now, "Have you ever found it fascinating... that no matter what, we really can't fake what our eyes express? Its like... a subconscious defense... but then again its not always bad. Its rare to find perfect eyes... Like finding a four-leaf clover. Thats why I think I'm blessed to see your beautiful eyes Hyunie..."
He blushed immensely when he finally realize what he had said, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to embarrass you..." He lifted his head again and just smiled to her, "sometimes my mouth gets carried away when I'm expressing my thoughts."
