Occ: This is a continuation from the thread, "Venting Anger"
They left the school and were embraced by the beautiful day. He kinda wished that they weren't in the city... too many people and not enough natural beauty. But, Jahova was the kind of person who could find something beautiful out of something... very unconventional.
He never left her side, staying somewhat close, but not TOO close. He loved the feeling of knowing she was right there by his side as they walked up the street. "Well, I thought we'd maybe go and get something to eat first and then take a good walk around the park or, around the city. Probably the park though." He smiled, having something else in mind to do at the park that would just have to come as a surprise.
"What are you in the mood for? Its all on me, and don't bother trying to argue, money is just paper... but you are a person, an amazing one at that... far more valuable than anything these meaningless dollars could buy."

His aura was certainly pleasant to be around; he was very optimistic, giving off that cheerful blast. Walking side by side, she found it nice how he walked in her pace; not too fast, not to slow..just next to her, as if he weren't in a rush to do anything, and had time on his hands.
When he asked what she wanted to eat, she was about to protest on how she wasn't hungry, though that would be a lie, and he had stated not to bother trying to argue right after he asked what she wanted, so she kept her mouth shut. Though, that wasn't the reason she randomly stopped walking, eyes wide, face flushing into a shade of red. Instantly, she dropped her head towards the ground, trying to hide her face from him when she felt her face heat up. She stopped breathing for a moment, subconsciously forgetting to inhale, and once she realized that she had been holding her breath, she suddenly took in a breath.
"U-um, a-anything is fine....!"
Said quickly, but again, because she isn't one to speak very loud, came out to be a bit quiet. She would start walking again, to catch up with him, but would keep her head tilted towards the ground to hide her embarrassment.

He, soon enough, was alone for a moment. He stopped and looked at her and it warmed his heart to see her reaction toward him. This was a shy girl... so he would have to tone it down a bit. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable...
He actually walked back some, just to be with her. He whispered softly, "I'm sorry for embarrassing you... but every word I speak is true... your worth so much more than anything this city could provide." He looked forward again and smiled.
He took her to a little restaurant he discovered the other day on one of his many walks. It wasn't very popular, but had very good food. It wasn't laid back like McDonald's or something, good enough to have actual menus brought to you and waiter/waitresses. But, it wasn't too fancy that you'd feel ashamed for not dressing in a suit or dress. It was called, "Little Dave's"
Whenever they arrived, he held the door open for her courteously. "I hope you like this place... I just discovered it the other day..."

When he apologized for embarrassing her, she couldn't find herself to say anything more, afraid that she'll only end up stuttering again. She merely nodded and tried to cool down her face. She took deep breaths, though didn't make it obvious that she was.
When they finally came upon a door, she thanked him quietly when the door was held open for her. She hurriedly went inside, and waited a bit for Jahova to fall back into step with her, before fully going inside the restaurant. From the entrance, she could already smell the food, and to say that Hyunie was very happy that she would eat soon would be somewhat of an understatement. She hadn't eaten much in the past couple of days, due to constant tests one after another, along with projects and homework, so this would be a real treat for her, especially since Jahova would be with her to accompany her.
"The food certainly smells good..."

Whenever they walked in, he breathed deep the good scent of the food in the air. "That it does Hyunie... That it does..." he replied to her comment. He loved her voice, to his ears, it was far more beautiful than anything he could possibly dream of. How could he have been so blessed to meet this girl? He closed his eyes and just smiled.
After just a brief millisecond of that, he led her to a table and pulled out her chair and even pushed it in for her. "Here you are Hyunie..." He walked around and sat down at the other side.
He knew that this day, was going to be something amazing. He knew it from the moment he saw her... but it was exponentially better now that she was here with him.
Soon enough, a waitress came over and handed them the menus, "Heres your menus... I'll give this lovely couple a moment to look over it..." at that, the waitress walked away to do other things. This, made Jahova blush... he bowed his head, but looked up at her to see Hyunie's reaction.

The soft smile remained on her face when he pulled out a chair for her. He was very gentlemen-like, very polite. Another quiet thanks, and she sat down comfortably on the chair, settling her backpack on the ground beside her, along with her heavy text book. She scoot herself closer into the table, her hands folded on her lap, waiting patiently for a waitress or a waiter to come around with the menus so they can start ordering. Though, once one came, the unexpected happened, that once again caused Hyunie Park to blush, right after she had cooled down as well. Though they weren't a couple, Hyunie didn't say anything to correct her. She didn't know why, but it was times like these that made her turn awefully quiet.
She cupped her cheeks in an attempt to hide the blush, and looked up at Jahova, only to meet with his eyes. She merely looked, dazed, lost in his eyes for a while before snapping out of her trance, and almost immediately picked up the menu and hid her face behind it. And right then, she was thankful that the menu had been there.

(ooc: sorry this is short... I'm really tired)
Jahova, quickly became lost in her eyes whenever they met. He could just... stare all day... and it would not be wasted. He picked up the menu and cleared his throat whenever their eyes left each other. He looked over the menu, but didn't REALLY look... every once in a while glancing up at her.
Again, he cleared his throat and said, "So... what are you gonna get?" He was just trying to make some conversation, to calm his racing heart, and hopefully, hers too.
That brought a lot of questions to his mind... how DID she feel? What was going through her head right now? He couldn't stop thinking of a future with her... holding hands and walking up the street to school. Sneaking in a quick kiss between classes. Spending all their time together whenever those classes let out... he even went as far as marriage and a family. He chuckled a bit at that... but it sounded nervous. It wasn't a laughing matter at all... and the thought of it... really made him smile.

Hearing him clear his throat, the brown eyed girl looked over her menu and over at Jahova, wondering if he needed anything, but it seemed that he just wondered what she wanted. Giving a small smile, she returned back to looking at the list of food she could eat, trying to narrow down her decision to one. Once she figured out what she wanted, she closed the menu and set it down aside, before looking back at Jahova to answer his question.
"Burger and fries.."
Quite original, no? Though it was what she wanted. Hyunie never really gets the chance to eat "junk" food, especially since her dad is a vegitarian, and her mom is a health freak. The food at home usually consisted of rice with side dishes in Korea, but in California, it was usually something odd that her dad cooked, and half the time, Hyunie didn't even know what she was eating. She just ate it because it made him happy, even though half the time it tasted somewhat...bland.
"What about you?"
To tell the truth, Hyunie wasn't sure what this feeling was. The feeling was too sudden, too new for her to figure it out. Though what she did know, is that she stuttered quite a bit around him, not only that, but her face would heat up. She got nervous, and had the urge to randomly say things just to keep a conversation going. She enjoyed his comments and his company, not only that, but there was this tug at her chest every time she turned to see him.
It would be a lie if she said the tug was displeasing.

She replied to his question, “Burger and fries…” To that, Jahova responded with a smile. He didn’t really see it coming, but he really liked it. Perhaps she was consideratetoward his finances, or maybe she just liked the simple things. He hoped it was that she enjoyed simple things, for that was what Jahova was all about. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was a complex person, who found the sky far more complex and thought provoking, more than the longest equation or the thickest novel. By no means was he stupid… in all actuality… he believed geniuses who overlooked such small wonders to be the greatest of the fools.
“I think I’ll just have the same thing, a simple hamburger can work wonders from time to time.” At that time, the waitress came back and smiled at the two. The waitress thought had been glancing over at them, supposedly to see if they were ready or not, but caught brief glimpses of their behavior towards each other. She found it charming… so the smile on her face wasn’t just restaurant policy. The waitress was more focused on their cute little romance than Jahova’s grotesque face, which would be fairly comforting if Jahova knew it. “Well, what’ll you love birds have?” Again, Jahova got bashful and bowed his head a bit, his heart racing. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, getting himself under control before saying, “I’ll have a burger and fries…” The waitress inquired, “What will the kind sir have to drink?” Jahova looked up at her and replied, “Just some water would be wonderful… thank you.” The waitress nodded the “your welcome” and turned to Hyunie, “and what about his beautiful girlfriend?” One more, Jahova blushed… this time worse… he hid his face behind his hair by bowing his head… but constantly looked up at Hyunie.

L-love birds..?
Almost instantly she cupped her cheeks again, trying to hide her blush. It was odd; Hyunie couldn't remember the time when she used to blush this much, and oddly enough, she began to suspect that there wasn't a time where she was ever like this. Surprise, surprise? Maybe it was because she made a new friend? No, that's not right. She tilted her head towards the floor, out of embarrassment, trying to keep her face hidden from Jahova and the waitress' view. Her thoughts wrapped around the words the waitress said about them, and because of that, she didn't hear the rest of the waitress' next words. When she noticed that it suddenly got quiet, she looked up, a bit of confusion in her eyes, before remembering that the waitress was taking their orders, and she assumed that they were waiting on her.
"Oh... Um, I'll have the same.. Ice water, please.."
She returned her hands to her lap and folded them together, squeezing her hands gently to calm her nervousness down, when in truth, she didn't know why she was so nervous in the first place.

Jahova smiled very timidly upon seeing Hyunie's reaction. He lifted his head, his blush gone. He was lost in deep admiration for the girl across from him. The waitress took her order and left. Jahova couldn't stop smiling... he didn't remember a time in his life when he felt so utterly happy. Something in the back of his mind told him that this would be a good day... but he never would've imagined that it would be this good. He felt like... he was in the presence of something far more than human. An angel or even a goddess!
He tried the best he could to come up with something to say, putting all his cognition behind it. But the girl has left him speechless. After a bit though, something came... but it was simply, "Uhh... Heh..." Jahova quietly cursed himself for it and took a deep breath to calm himself down.
Finally, he uttered a question, "So Hyunie... what are your interests and hobbies?"

Deep breaths...just don't make it so obvious...
Yeah, yeah. Hyunie was talking to herself, but it wasn't anything new. She didn't have a split personality or anything, it was just some kind of method Hyunie used to calm herself down if she started getting nervous on some big test, or an "honored" guest was coming over for dinner. It didn't do much, but it kept her mind focused on breathing rather than other things. Seeing that he started to talk, however, she snapped out of her thoughts and turned towards him, giving him all her attention. He asked of her hobbies and interests...well, what should she tell him? What interests did she have? Studying? Not very interesting though; reading? Not so interesting either. Musical instruments? She only played when she felt like it, and it was rarely done. A big one would be dancing, but...that was a bit embarassing to say...
"Um...reading is one... I always study... I play the violin and piano...and.. I like to dance..."
Towards the last thing she said, she got quieter, but quickly spoke again.
"And yourself?"

He stared into her eyes and nodded whenever she told him her hobbies. They shared most of the same interests. Jahova loved to read and, obviously, play music. He studied as well... but never danced. He didn't know how. Perhaps sometime she would teach him?
"Uhh... well, I'm mostly into music, if you couldn't tell." He chuckled a little nervously and continued, "well, I also read a lot and... think. I love to just, walk around idly and star-gaze. As I told you earlier, I was stuck after school because I was lost in my thoughts... But, I wont bore you with my idle inquiries."
He hoped she wouldn't find him too much of a nerd or something. Who really just went around thinking all the time anymore? Those thoughts were quickly replaced by thoughts of her. God, she was so beautiful... he was getting worked up. It wasn't like she was his girlfriend or anything.

"No, no, it's fine.. I always tend to fall into a daze whenever I think a lot, and my legs just sort of carry me to places I've never been to before... I-It's odd, but I understand what you're talking about.......I think.."
Actually, she was quite curious of what he thinks about so much. What makes him fall into a deep thought? For Hyunie, she never remembered, but she did know it held some importance. She looked over at him, unsure if she should ask him or not...it would hold some sort of conversation for a while, things wouldn't be awkwardly silent. So maybe she should ask? But what if it was rude to ask? What if his thoughts were private? Tricky, tricky... Though, there was always the chance of adding in that he didn't have to talk about it if they were private...
"...I'm just curious, but what do you think about, if you don't mind me asking..."

Jahova smiled, he loved it whenever people were curious about his thoughts. "Well Hyunie... you certainly may hear some of my thoughts. Its not just one thing all the time really, just compilations of stuff..." In all actuality, its kinda hard to really say something to that. Most of his ponderings truly come out whenever a situation is at hand. But, surely he could come up with something.
"One time, whenever I was at Varron and staring up at the sky, watching the clouds... I rationalized that it would be a blessing to be one of them." He closed his eyes and laid his head down on his arms on the table. "They are constantly at home and never have to worry about the corrupted affairs of humanity. They're constantly admired by little dreamers such as I. They know their place... and perform their duty well..."
He opened his eyes and looked at her with a smile. He sat back up, "Most of my philosophies are situational, give me a dilemma, and I'll help you solve it. However, whenever I've got nothing else to worry about, thats the sort of thing I think of. I think of nature... I think of music... and I think of... love..." He just smiled to her at that.

Problems, she understood. Hyunie often thought about her own problems from time to time, usually right before she went to sleep to think about how her day as a whole went, and the next thing she knew is that she's waking up from a slumber, forgetting about how she fell asleep in the first place, and what she was thinking so hard about the night before. Nature is another thing she understood; she often thought about rain, and the wind and air...it was all very relaxing and peaceful to her mind. Comforting, in a way. It was an escape to run from her troubles, even if it were only for a moment.
The one she didn't understand though, was love.
She didn't get it, but the way he said it made her heart flutter, and pound hard against her chest. She could hear her heart clearly, and thought that she might be going insane. Though, she didn't want him thinking she was crazy, so she didn't say anything about it. Maybe she'd talk to her dad later, about going to the doctors for a check-up..maybe...
So she'd ask him about it.
"L-love?"
Dang. Why'd she stutter...?

She questioned him about love... and she stuttered. She seemed to get really nervous whenever someone would mention something like that... but then again, around her, so would he.
"Love? Why not? Its... the thing I've desired the most in this world." He sighed, reflecting on the past some, she could see some sort of hurt coming into his eyes. "I haven't had a very good past... and my struggles with it have always been long and seemingly futile." He looked up at her and smiled somewhat. The pain was still in his eyes, but it was quickly being replaced as he looked to the beauty in front of him. "But, that doesn't stop me from dreaming about it... and hoping that maybe, someday, I'll find what I'm looking for..."
He hoped, very deep down... that he had just found the one who could fill that void in his heart. Even if it doesn't last for the rest of his life... at least a little while of companionship would be wonderful. Eighteen years of romantic isolation was far too much for him to continue to bear...

She watched him carefully as he explained why he thought about love. His eyes showed a tint of sadness and pain, and it broke her to see him like so. Sympathy crossed her eyes, yet her face remained still, though the curious look in her eyes were more visible than that of sympathy. When he finished, she smiled brightly at his optomism; she wondered...will she ever find love? While he spoke though, about love, that is, she couldn't help but have this small spark of hope in her, that the one love he'll find is through her. Crazy as it may seems, even though they just met, she realized that whenever she was around him, she felt different. Completely different.
She looked down at her folded hands before her eyes looked over at Jahova.
"I hope you find what you're looking for too, Jahova."
Jahova... She really liked his name. It suited him well.
And even though they were in a restaurant, the thought of food never even crossed her mind when they were in conversation.

Jahova nodded, "Thank you Hyunie... I'm sure I will... so don't stress out over it too much." His eyes looked dreamy as he thought about the future and he constantly smiled. The thoughts were, of course, about her. He thought he was falling in love with her... but so soon?
He scanned her up and down... she had a wonderful personality... and was outrageously beautiful. What was this beauty doing out with the beast? He didn't deserve her company in the least bit. But, he was glad that he still had it none-the-less. He really hadn't felt like this before... he thought of an instance where it may have come close, but now that he was experiencing this... none of the past times came close.
He idly lay his hand down on the middle of the table, palm up. He didn't really know why but... he just thought it was comfortable. She could see that his hands were lightly calloused, mostly on his fingertips from the guitar playing. He said nothing, just staring into her eyes. And if she was good at reading expressions, she was see nothing but love behind his eyes.

She was good at reading expressions which she has already witnessed; love? Very foreign to her. Of course, she loved her parents and family, but of course, not in a romantic way. So the look his eyes held, and the emotion behind it, was unknown to her, and because of her curious nature that she held once in a while, only made her want to find out what it is he felt. Of course, just by looking into his eyes made her blush slightly, due to the fact that no one, really, ever looked directly into her eye for more than a couple of seconds, and so she could not help but turn away from his gaze to stop her from blushing.
When she looked away at other people and couples, is when she realized that they were in a cafe, with people, and their food was not yet delivered.
Noticing it got quiet, she turned her head to face him, looking back into his eyes, momentarily forgetting everything, before she looked away, scanning through her thoughts for an interesting topic to bring up.
"Do you know how to dance?"
