Nigoroko's Japanese Cuisine was another local resturant that Taru used to go to. His mother took him there when he was 10 and he loved the food there so he wondered if Reiye would like the food since she's japanese as well. He walked to the resturant though since its like only 10 blocks away from Hircine so he didn't really mind. He was a little low on cash but he can pay the car fine tomorow. He just wanted to see Reiye and how or if she liked the resturant. There was everything that japan made in the resturant. Noodles,Sushi,Ramen, and other various dishes that she could eat. He still had money from that little meet up with Sakura, so it's alright. He hoped his mom would be nice enough though to pay for the 500$ fine he got for driving without passing his driver's test. Oh well. Taru went inside the resturant finally and got a nice booth for two.

Reiye had been at home when she received a text message telling her to go to some restaurant called Nigoroko's Japanese Cuisine. Of course, she'd be confused and surprised at the same time seeing this. Why? Oh, maybe because she doens't know the person who texted her? She raised a brow as she reread the text. Did someone just sent the text message to the wrong person or something? Nah that can't be, seeing as her name was mentioned. Okay, so how did this person even get her number? Especially when she just got this new number the day before. No one should really know it, right?
Sighing, she shrugged the thought off. She would have just ignored the invitation most of the time, and she was about to, but she was hungry. To be honest, she does kind of want to eat Japanese food, despite her eating them for oh-so-many years. What? She likes Japanese food. It's something she can never get tired of. She might as well go there and eat right? She doens't have to necessarily eat with this guy, not liek she'll know which of the customers there would be him anyway. Shrugging the thought off, Reiye got up from her couch and exited the apartment.
Approximately fifteen minutes later, she finally found herself in front of the cuisine. She could have gotten here sooner, but being new here doesn't help, especially when she's already not one who's good with maps and directions. Anyway, she entered the restaurant as she glanced around. Yup, she doesn't know who texted her, but she might as well get a seat right? Just as she was about to get a waitor to show her to a table, a male voice was heard calling her name. She stopped as she glanced in that direction, noticing a familiar face. Somewhat anyway. Then it hit her, the guy who crashed onto her on her first day of school.
What in the world? How the heck did he get my number?! (these are thoughts in italics)
Sighing mentally, she walked towards his table slowly, somewhat unwillingly. She supposes she won't mind eating with someone for lunch today, as long as he doesn't annoy the hell out of her. If she doesn't like it, she'll leave. Simple as that. That's just how Reiye is.

Taru saw Reiye sit down across from him and then the waiter came to his right side putting two menus onto the table asked what he wanted.
(IN Japanese)"I'll have the Chicken/Shrimp Udon Combo with Ramune. And what do you want Reijye-san? You can order whatever you want by the way."
Taru waited for Reiye to order and then he would engage in a coversation with her. Taru had enough money for whatever this Japanese girl would want. He didn't want to blow it with some stupid remark so he could just start slow it with her and then slowly move in. That was his genious plan. Then Taru yawned while waiting for Reiye to order. This girl must be amazed by all the japanese food they got here. Taru said in his thoughts "I was gonna order ramen as usual but I love udon. And I'm in the mood for some Udon. Udon goooood..Tarur smiled after he yawned and continued waited for Reiye to order.

Reiye glanced around slightly at the restaurant. It was pretty, well decorated, and best of all, the colours were peaceful and comforting. It almost made her feel nostalgic, but remembering her sister, she pushed the thought away. She knows thta she has to stop thinking about the past. It passed, so why can't she just let it pass? Sighing mentally, she decided to concentrate on the menu. Scanning through it quickly, the pink-haired teenager finally decided. She looked up at the waitor and ordered her choice of food for her lunch today. Reiye isn't a huge eater, and you can tell by her slenderness, but that doesn't mean she doesn't eat just so she'd be skinny. It's the fact that she can't eat a lot. Her appetite just isn't strong. Plus, she's born naturally skinny, not because of diets or whatever. She was never one to do these things just for appearance. The most she would go for looks in oneself are her pink hair. Now one might question just exactly why she bleached her hair pink. To be honest, she's not that sure either. She just felt like dying it pink. It was different,a nd she's a risk taker.
At any rate, Reiye told the waitor her order. "Seafood ramen please." she said softly, her voice slightly low, but definitely able to be heard. She had always liked seafood AND ramen, so it's only natural for her to order seafood ramen. She would have ordered some sushi too, but she wasn't extremely hungry today, or well, at the moment anyway, so she decided against it. She can always just order again if she's still hungry after she's done the bowl of ramen. Plus, who knows just how big one bowl is? Some restaurants DO have big bowls of udon and/or ramen, though why, Reiye would never know. It's the owners' choice as long as they think the profit they gain is enough.
After the waitor finally left with a nod, acknowledging their orders, Reiye turned to look at Taru for a bit, still wondering why he asked her out for lunch. To be honest, she doesn't even quite remember his name. She remmebered him introducing himself thta day at school, but she can't seem to remember right now. And how does HE know of HER name anyway? She doesn't recall introducing herself, or did she? Shrugging the thought off, she looked away, and took a sip from the green tea provided. Then it hit her, his name is Taru.

(Japanese)"So reiye-san. How are you today?"
Taru would wait for her response then after her response, he would take a look at her looking how cute she was. The waiter interrupted his stare with a bottle of ramune. Taru took the bottle and sipped it a little. After sipping it he would say
(Still in Japanese)"Reiye-chan, what part of japan are you from? And if the sea food ramen isn't enough for you, you can always order more if you want..."
Taru would be for once in his life shy around the pink-haired girl. But the hair is what he liked about her. She was different then all those other people. She stands out around them. Taru would look at her for another moment and by then the food should arrive. Since he's been here before. The portions are huge. Big bowls and the food inside the bowls are delicious and plentiful. Reiye would love her dish.

Reiye placed the cup of green tea back onto the table as she heard Taru ask her how she is today in fluent Japanese. She didn't say anything as she just looked up slightly, noticing the male seated across from her staring at her. She didn't pay much attention to that though. She gets that a lot with her hair colour, but whether he was staring because of that or not, it didn't quite bother her either.
The waitor came and handed Taru his ramune. Not long after the waitor left, she heard Taru's next question, spoken in fluent Japanese again. Slightly surprised, although not showing it, she hesitated for a brief second before answering. "Hiroshima." she stated plainly, not bothering to say anything not needed. She didn't ask him either, for he would say it if he wants to. That's how Reiye is, always seemingly uninterested and unmotivated. Not usually curious like most girls either. Gossips and such just aren't her thing.
Anyway, the food soon came, and Reiye couldn't help but be surprised at the size of her seafood ramen. It was huge! Well, it wasn't excessively large, but it was a pretty good size. One that she should be somewhat full with.
Perfect size.
She picked up her chopsticks, ready to dig in. However, before thta, she said what most Japanese people would say before eating. "Itadakimasu." she said quietly, more to herself then to Taru.

Taru was amazed how she remembered to say Itadakimasu. Alot of Japanese that come here forget to. So he also added in "Itadakimasu" before starting to eat the udon. Taru thought tohimself ,"Damn this stuff is good..." Taru sipped the noodle with his eyes closed and savored the flavor. The food was just so good. He didn't know why he come here often. Oh yeah he didn't pass his driving test. Well whatever he was too focused on his food before looking at Reiye. He loved her hair.
(Still Japanese, he only does it around japanese people)"Reiye-san. Do you like to sing?"
Taru smiled after he asked that question. She looked like the type who would sing or dance. Maybe both.
"Maybe a little dancing?"
Taru ate some more of his udon after the questions while he waited for her response. It was hard focusing on good food and a hot girl at the same time. He couldn't help it thought. The food was outstanding. Like seriously good ass food. After Reiye answered the two questions he would smile and enjoy his food then ask if she wanted anything else to eat. He might be spoiling her but it's alright. Taru realized he actually might have a crush on her. But whatever. She's japanese, he's japanese. And they probaly had other similarities.

Reiye ate her seafood ramen slowly, savoring the taste. She had to admit that it's pretty good, better than a lot she's eaten before at other Japanese restaurants. She'll have to keep this cuisine in mind. She ate politely, her table manners definitely good, almost elegant. Well, that's just the way she was trained to be since young. Her mother had always taught them to be polite and be careful how they act when they eat, and young Reiye had taken this into consideration.
She soon heard Taru ask her more question. Singing? She definitely loves singing. It's one of the few things that she can openly reveal who she really is. And dancing? Of course she loves to dance. Her legs are almost there just so she can dance and run!
She stopped eating for a brief moment as she looked at Taru. She was slightly surprised though, thta he asked her this. Finally, she parted her lips to answer quietly. "Yes I do. Both." It was plain, short, and simple. The way she likes it. As long as the idea is getting across, that's fine with her.
With that, she continued eating, but not before taking another sip of green tea. She did wonder why he suddenly asked her that though, especially since she actually is interested in these two activities greatly. But either way, she shrugged the thought off, and just continued with her meal.

Taru smiled. They both liked to sing. Taru would only dance if he had to. Something that they both had in common. Taru was slowly working his way to be closer with Reiye. Taru sighed and thought what else to ask.
"So Reiye-chan...what kind of music do you like...?"
That was Taru's last question before eating more of his udon and drink some of his ramune. He needed to win Reiye over. He wasn't sure how though. He'd have to learn more about her, more dates, more cash. So he's going to need a job. And to get to his job. He needs to pass his goddamn driving test. so that was what he was going to do after thier lunch. That was he had to do anyways. Then he could spend more time reiye.

Her long bangs, covering her right eye, was starting to become a nuisance for her while she eats. Brushing them away and attempting to place them behind her ear, she made sure they'd be kept in place for a while before continuing her lunch. She's rarely seen with both eyes completely visible, but it does happen. Anyway, she seems to have ignored Taru's question regarding the type of music she likes for a while. She heard him of course, but she just didn't really feel like replying at the moment.
Finally, after a brief moment, she stopped eating to answer. She kept her gaze on the ramen though, not bothering to look up for she sees no need to do so really. Personally, she was wondering how she should answer. She likes many different types, and she sings a lot of different ones as well, although she's a soprano in vocals, so she sings mostly songs that are at a higher pitch than low. Don't be mistaken, she can sing low too due to her tone of voice, but she's more of a soprano, that's all. As for the types of songs she mostly sings? Well, there's plenty. She can sing both softly and loudly if she really wants to, though her voice is much better suited for softer ones.
At any rate, she finally parted her lips to answer. "A lot." she replied. It was true, so that's all she'll say. She can't say there's a specific type she likes the most though. She likes a lot of them equally, really.

Taru closed his eyes and sighed before eating more of his udon"Alot? Jeez...This is harder than I thought" Taru yawned and looked at Reiye who's eye is covered by her hair. taru smiled again eating before laughing a little. He thought"Jeez. Reiye-chan is just so cute..."
"Eh. Reiye-chan. What do you wanna do after we eat? Unless you want more that is."
Taru scratched the back of his head. I hope she doesn't go "Home." That'd suck sooo much. Well atleast he would walk her home. Insist too atleast. Taru was speechless so he kept eating. Taru then had an idea and talked to the owner for a few moments to change the music. The owner agreed so he went on his ipod nanu and looked for some soft japanese songs and then hooked it up to the radio then the music started to play. The music was really lovely and all the customers japanese or not liked it too. Taru felt satisfied and went back to his table with Reiye and smiled at her.

Reiye said nothing as Taru left his seat for a moment. When he came back, the music was changed to a soft and beautiful song. An inspiring melody with beautiful lyrics. She didn't recognize the song, but it sounded nice nonetheless. She figured it had something to do what Taru's little disappearance though; it really wasn't that hard of a guess.
Anyway, she remained silent until Taru spoke out once more. What they want to do after? Just what the hell is he thinking?! The seventeen-year-old sighed mentally at the thought as she finished the last of her ramen. She was full enough, and it was a good meal. Way better than the ones she had eaten on the airplane. It wasn't thta the food on the airplane was bad, but it just wasn't as tasty. No duh!
Finally, she replied quietly, her tone of voice showing nothing but hints of apathy. "It doesn't concern you." Simple as that. And seriously, it doesn't concern him, neither is it his business whatsoever. She really just wants to go home after this meal. She's not the type to go exploring around a new city just because she just moved here. She was never really the type to do so. It never bothers her. She'll go out whenever she needs something. Either that, or her mother would go get whatever they really need. Maybe even her brother.
The thought of her brother, Chiisu, made her frown mentally. It's not that she doesn't love him, it's just that she can't help but partially blame him for what happened to Koori, her older sister. Sighing mentally once again, she pushed those thoughts and memories out of her head.
Since she was done her ramen, she placed her chopsticks back onto the table slowly and politely, never forgetting her table manners. Reaching out to grasp the cup of green tea, she took another sip before placing it back down.

Taru thought it was time to go. Taru sighed and wish it lasted a little bit longer. Then he looked at Reiye. Reiye looked a little sad. Taru wasn't sure of it but his gut said so atleast. Taru waved a waiter. The waiter came toward Taru and asked for a Ramune for Reiye. Taru then asked for a check. The waiter came with the RAmune and check,
"$42.88."
Taru took out a two twenties and a 10 and left. That's thier tip too he said mentally..Taru put the ramune in her hand and smiled.
"Trust me, it relaxes you and helps forget your troubles."
Taru smiled and exited the complex while waiting for her. Taru had nothing else to do so he decided to accompany Reiye home. Taru waited for Reiye outside and looked the other direction. A waiter came toward Reiye and held Taru's I-pod nano.
"Give this to your little boyfriend please."
The waiter sped away like a ninja. Taru was still wondering where reiye was but, whatever. He had nothing to do today so him wating for her sure killed time.

Reiye said nothing as they got up and prepared to leave. Out of nowhere, he pushed a bottle of ramune into her hands. Raising a slight brow at this, she shrugged it off. She didn't really care. Free drinks? Sure. She doesn't mind drinking it anyway.
She watched as he exited the restaurant, and she was about to follow when a waitor suddenly approached her, handing her his ipod. She said nothign regarding his comment though. SInce it's not true, she basically just dismisses it. She wasn't one to make a big deal out of these things. She usually just lets people think whatever they want; I mean, you can't stop someone from thinking something right? Or well that's what Reiye thinks anyway.
Either way, she just exited the cuisine as she spotted Taru. Handing him his ipod without saying anything, Reiye walked past him and started in the direction of her apartment. She didn't know if Taru would follow her, but either way, she didn't care. As long as he doens't irritate her in any extreme way, she can easily ignore him, right?
Why did he even ask her out to eat anyway? She doesn't know, but she wasn't really planning on finding out though. They don't really know each other, and she can't say she wishes to know him either. It's not just him. It's well, everyone. She can't deny the fact that she doesn't mind being a loner. She wasn't one to get close to anyone easily. She used to be like this, but that constantly laughing Reiye was gone now, and she can't say she wants her to return. She kind of likes being like this. Nothing to care about, no one to care for (excluding her mother of course).

Taru followed along side Reiye. This girl she seemed sad. She used to be happy. Taru know it. Something told him that she used to be smiling alot. He had no idea why but it's like she wasn't always such a cold girl. Taru frowned thinking that. So he stepped a little closer to the side of her and looked at her.
"Reiye. I got a feeling you weren't always this sad. I know we don't know each other really well, but. I'm here for you. You can talk to me about anything. Although you probaly don't trust me well enough. I just want to help you out with anything Reiye. "
Taru looked at her with a serious but innocent look waiting for a reply.

Reiye could sense the male walking beside her as she kept her gaze up ahead. She said nothing as she listened to what he said carefully. She can't say she was surprised though. Either way, she kept silent, not bothering to say anything as of yet.
Who does he think he is? Some psychic?!
Frowning mentally, Reiye allowed a soft sigh to escape her lips. Not because he was correct, but rather because she's slightly irritated. Help her? He's kidding right? If she needed help, she would have seeked some already. Plus, if she wanted to talk, she would have done so already, now wouldn't she?
She slowly came to a stop, and turned slightly so that her gaze directly staring at Taru. Her sharp eyes showing nothing but annoyance. "You can think whatever you wish to, but if you don't mind, please stop following me." she said somewhat harshly. She can't say she totally meant it to sound this way; it just came out the way it did. Reiye tends to have a habit of doing something like this, and to the other, it should most definitely sound resentful. Although, she can't say that she cares all that much regarding how people view her as a whole. If it did, she wouldn't be the person she is presently.
With that said, she turned around as she continued her way home. It doesn't seem like her short stay in San Francisco so far is being too peaceful, does it? She supposed that peace isn't something that will ever occur to her. At any rate, she supposed she'll just have to make the bets out of whatever that happens to her in the near future. Pushing the thought away, she continued walking, her pace constant.
((ooc: =P))
