Shamino rested back against the BRIDE bucketseat of his Datsun 240Z. He revved the engine loudly, but kept parked on the side, out of the way of the road. His liscence plate, 'SHMYBABY' would identify him, as would the type of vehicle. The vehicle was considered a Japanese Classic, and a decent quality one would fetch a pretty penny. However, this Datsun's interior was completly gutted except for the seats, his steering wheel, his dash, and his transmission. The engine was a swapped LS1TT, producing over 800PS in a vehicle that was only 1700 LBS. He wanted the 240SX to come by. He wanted to hear it before he saw it, saw it before he smelt it. When he smelt the burning of the fossil fuel- something in him ignited. He revved the engine, one more time.
"Oh please. Please come by and meet Shamino Warhen. Undefeated in combat and on the streets alike."

Kruzy shifted, driving on the highway only doing 5 miles above the speed limit. His engine in 5th of the six gears of its manual gearbox, revving at only 3 grand. The modified RB26DETT was a a rebuilt engine that came out of a totaled R33 skyline. Rebuilt with aftermarket cams, valve springs, and of course after market T3 turbos and a bigger intercooler, the car was no dog. The twin turbo-charged engine stock was known for dynoing well over 300whp with a good tune... but with internals such as a cam, and bigger turbos, the car had potential. Once again, it had potential. Kruzy was runnning the car at decently low boost at the moment, but could change it with the electric boost controller from inside the car.
Kruzy had recently came from his home, in which, he changed over his winter rims and tires back to his original rims..... it was cali... no more need for snow tires. The rubbers were Nitto Drag radials.... not street legal, as having no cat on the car was illegal anyways. The car sat on 16"x8" 5zigen rims in the front, with 16"x10.5" rims in the back. A big difference over the stock 15"x7" stock tires all round. And of course with the spacers on the rear...
Kruzy then spotted a clean Datsun on the side of the highway, but going 70mph, didn't have much of a good look at it,
"Huh, those were nice cars..... i like it"

Kruzy would drive for only several more seconds before a single pair of dull, yellow headlights would light up the backside of his vehicle. The Datsun's turn signal indicated he was moving left, and he moved into the lane to the left of the 240SX. With a small tap of the acceleration, he was beside the 240 going roughly the same speed. It was clear that it was Shamino driving- once again the vehicle was JDM and was on the right side of the vehicle. He kept himself there only long enough so that the rival driver knew whom it was. Shamino placed his foot down towards the floor, and shifted up until he was at a steady 160 KM/H. He leaped 3-4 car lengths ahead of the Nissan, and held his excitement inwards. This thing can't really be a challenge, can it? Its almost not fair...

Kruzy noticed the headlights approach him rather fast, especially coming from a dead stop on the side of a highway....
~whose this now~ Kruzy thought to himself...... As the car lined to the side of Kruzy he saw that it was Shamino.... but this time now driving a Datsun instead of his Acura. The car steadied for a second then jolted foward, immediatly showing some characteristics of the car..... The sound, that was definitly larger than any 4cyl or V6 in most cars... and the low end torque showed monsterious amounts of power. And also mixed with the roar of what Kruzy was now thinking of a V8, was the spooling of a turbo... loud..... almost over powering the exhaust.
Kruzy smiled.... it has been a long time since he's had his car back on the road.... still at only 15psi of boost, Kruzy decided to play, with potential as high as yet only 27lbs of boost, only because of the tuning would have to be different, he downshifted fomr 5th to 3rd. The car seemed to be dogging at first... a second of the twin turbo's spooling, and then the burst of power and speed, and with a quick shift from 3rd to 4th... Kruzy was at 130, and then another shift moved him closer, this time now window to window, shifting into fifth, but only to save the other 2k rpms from being used.... sitting at around 155-160kmh.
Kruzy smiled and then did a little rev, letting off the gas, clutching, then gassing it again. The BOV loud and almost obnoxious..... this was still just playing games... and Kruzy had a feeling that the V8 in Shamino's car would have more fun planned..... and he def wasn't showing his cars full potential as of yet.
Kruzy then decided it'd be his turn to launch foward for a few.... downshifting once more but now only into forth, the rpms quickly climbing from 6k to 8k, the bov sounding and then the car once again moving as 5th gear was engauged... Kruzy was now pulling on shamino, hitting only at least 195-205km.... just about 2 cars ahead and slowly climbing...
~Okay Sham..... show me what that monster has...~

"He's probably in fifth."
Going over 180 KM/H. Shamino was JUST shifting into fourth gear as he entered the 210KM/H range.
His transmission was geared towards this kind of thing. With higher gear ratio's being created for the purpose of quick acceleration, higher gear ratio's would have you accelerating at amazing speeds, yet at signifigantly lower top speeds. However, his gear's lower ratio had him being able to accelerate decently compared to some cars, but gave him a massive advantage in top speed. As such, he didn't have entirely too much time to waste. He was just entering fifth gear as he looked in his rearview mirror.
Kruzy had been able to climb roughly two standard car lengths ahead. But it was only a matter of time before this Wangan monster was able to slowly climb past Kruzy, and then jolt forward to a very comfortable 260 Kilometers an hour. This means he was going about 160 Miles an hour. This was the standard top out speed for most low level Ferrari's and Porsche 911 GT's. He felt a little bad for the man in the 240SX. But he was quite lucky that he hadn't brought the NSX.
The Honda NSX in my garage has aerodynamics that make this Datsun look like a flying brick. Not to mention it has the power of Zeus. Really, bringing out any car I own besides the Supra would be cheating. Even the Supra has a gutted interior and a 500+HP Twin Turbo set up. And for the mountains? My SLR just wins. Not only because of how well tuned i've made my machines, but because how well I can drive them. You lost from the start. Shamino shook his head momentarily before his eyes went directly back onto the road. At over 160 MPH, both hands were on the steering wheel.

The 240Z slowly drove by Kruzy, making the race almost look as if a Turtle was going past a snail... of course, a fast turtle and snail. The 240 must have a monsterous amount of torque. An american muscle engine would have almost more torque than any other turbo'd car on the road.
Kruzy looked in his mirror, Shamino climbing up, and then by Kruzy's 240SX. Kruzy shook his head.... at 15lbs it was fast... but he could go faster... but Kruzy hesitated..... upping the boost to its potential un-tuned could be really bad in this case. Maybe going to 20 would help... but it wouldn't for long. The high-end torque was good at top speeds, thats what the engines were made for... but the tranny wasn't.... it was a stock tranny that came with the engine. Of course with a lighter flywheel and better clutch, but it could be more....
"Fuck it"... Kruzy said aloud, now steadily using the built in boost controller..... "Hold up my baby..... you can do this"..... 15,17,20................................... Kruzy let the car slow a bit before selecting it... now falling roughly 5 cars behind... now six...... and then back to a mesely 75mph..... the car getting ready for what Kruzy only did once before......
Now from 5th, and at 75mph it was nothing.... Kruzy downshifted.... 3rd gear the car spooled at almost a stand still.... the boost now engauged... the car holding back... holding holding... then took off... the cold Nitto drag radials spun for about 20 feet, the car nearly going sideways. The two T3 turbo's basically maxing out, the engine really using it's aftermarket internals to good use. The car jumped from 75 to 130mph.... breaking the 6 car gap that Shamino once had.... Kruzy by this time was back in 5th gear... and the rpms rising steadily, 140, 150..... then shifted into 6th.... not wanting to strain the tranny much Kruzy shifted at only 6k rpms out of the availible 8500.... possibly more... though it was straining as it was. The car broke into the 170mph range... now pulling on the back bumper of the Datsun.... very slowly gaining inches as it worked up the side of the car.........
The 240sx was screaming.. this was about it... the full potential of this car with the T3's, and stock tranny.... without a built block... The 240 pulled about 1/2 car in front of SHamino..... sitting thier, now not gaining.. the rpms at 7500..... the strain was tight on this little japanese hatchback....

He didn't climb in speed- in fact, he wobbled slightly just to show Kruzy that he, too, was topped out. Or was he?
No, not quite. Shamino ended it by going faster than most Wangan vehicles. He shifted up into 6th gear and he was going a very steady 310 KM/H. What he hadn't told Kruzy is that the vehicle was capable of going 350+ KMH. He dodged a car by turning into the rightmost lane for a moment, before switching up into the left most lane, to stay away from vehicles that may be attempting to get on the highway. For going 300 KM/H, the suspension was also suprisingly steady. He downshifted to fifth gear as the highway began to take a moderate turn to the left. He went down to 210, and took the turn with care. At this point, the Nissan would either be kerploding, or shifting down to half his speed so it could take the corner. Either/or, it was unfair from the start.

Kruzy smiled for a second as he wacthed Shamino take the corner at a reasonable high speed. But that smile was changing rather quickly, while a puff of white smoke arised out from under the hood, and also from out the exhaust. It was some kind of gasket that must have blown. With all of that high pressure built up in the engine adn the exhaust, it smelt and looked like it was a blown turbo, or maybe even a head gasket, but that would be black smoke.
Kruzy down shifted lightly, trying to keep the rpms in a lower base of play and using mostly his brakes. 11" Brembo brakes, an obvious upgrade over stock, and a pretty well built suspension, Tein all around.. probably almost as expensive as the motor and work itself, the kit was around 2500 bucks, springs, struts and all.
Kruzy was at a meseky 115mph as he went around the corner, still slowing down planning on taking the next exit and double checking his motor work. That much strain on either the turbo's or the engine was bad enough.. especially under a street tune. Shamino must be race ready....
The exit came rather quick, taking the corner at 65 on the off ramp... Kruzy pulled into a nearby gas station parking lot... walking out and checking under the hood...
