It had just passed Christmas. Yesterday in fact. And Teneile could not be unhappier. His Christmas presents still stayed under the tree, she had bought them when he was still alive and she couldn't bear to move them so they had stayed. It had not been a Christmas of joy and cheer for her this year. Her boyfriend had died shortly before and she was not quite taking it well. Course he had been her first boyfriend and she had felt some sort of connection with him but it seemed it wasn't meant to be. Becuase he was gone now. And she was here left behind.
Her father had not come home for Christmas. Working hard in the new city they lived in after Varron collapsed. She hadn't really made any friends there so it wasn't a big deal to move again but she missed him, Drake. And they hadn't found enough to burry but she never forgot him even though they had only been going out for a short time. Teneile sighed sadly as she stepped out of the coffee shop StarGazer with a steaming cup of something or other in her hand. She couldn't really taste it anyway merely wanted to stay warm. Though she missed the cold it would have matched her soul perfectly.
Dressed in a pair of hiphugger jeans and a lavender turtle neck that hugged her thin frame she headed down the sidewalk. She hated being at home alone, hated going to school alone, hated being alone in general but it seemed now she had no other choice but to be alone. And so she sipped her coffee with one hand her other had it's fingers just inside her pocket and she headed to some unknown destination mainly to just keep herself busy and off of Drake. It wasn't working. Her red hair hung down her back silken and swaying with her hips. She missed him. Hadn't really known how much she had grown to care for him in the days he had lived with her.
Perhaps she was destined to be alone.

The busy bustling city of San Francisco was like it always was. People were walking about the streets going about there lives without a care in the world. A lone man could be seen walking in from the east entering this beautiful city with an angered face. He had came a long way by the looks of it and he was out for blood. This man was Abel Moldune, the older brother of Drake Moldune who was thought to have died in the burning building The Edge. He walked past many different looking people but none of them were interesting to him. He walked past a coffee house and when he looked ahead of him he saw a younger girl walking sadly only about ten feet in front of him. He slowly made his way in front of her and looked back to see that she WAS the girl that his brother had been living with and also going out with.
He stopped in front of her with his hands in his pockets and some blood stains still on his trench coat. He looked down at the much smaller girl with no smile or emotion in his facial expression. "You are Teneile are you not? I know that you don't know me, but I may be able to take the sorrow from your heart. If you want to know the truth... then come with me into the this coffee shop. I see that you already have some, but you can always just sit and listen." With that Abel walked past Teneile and entered the coffee shop. He took a seat at the a table set for two and looked over at Teneile with his cold eyes. 'We'll see if she wants to know the truth... or live in complete anguish.'

Teneile was lost in thought and in sorrow she almost didn't notice the man that stopped in front of her. She did thought right before she would have run into him. She looked up he was.. very tall making her look like a midget and so small compared to him. There was somthing familiar about him but she couldn't quite place it. An aire of familiarity about him but in her loss of Drake everyone seemed to remind her of him and this man was probably no different.
He knew her name and her eyes widened. He spoke of ending her sorrow and she blinked for a moment. She didn't know what he meant by that. No one in the world could really end it unless Drake suddenly showed up with that happy smile and a big hug asking for some fresh cookies. But it was in a public place so it wasn't like he could do too much damage to her right here. She bit her lip as he walked past her. Her heart was having a bit of hope but right now she was trying to repress it. She didn't want to get her hopes up too high. But she turned on her heal and followed him into the place.
When he sat so did she and she looked up at him. He still looked so familiar.
"How do you know who I am? How can you stop my sorrow?" she asked softly.

Abel just sat in the coffee shop as Teneile walked into the coffee shop after him. She sat down and looked at him for a couple of seconds before she asked him how he knew her name and how he could end her sorrow. He just ignored her for now and waited for the waitress to come to the table. He looked out the window at all of the people that were walking down the streets. 'Why the hell did these Varron people have to come here of all places? There must be some sort of people behind the scenes that I don't know about, but who really cares. It just means more action for me and all of the other San Franciscans. But if this girl is my brother's girlfriend I have to at least warn here of what's to come.' Just as he finished his thought the waitress came and tapped him on the shoulder. She asked him what he'd have and he turned and looked at her with a cold stare.
"Well I guess I'll just have a pot of steaming hot black coffee. You can do that can't you?" The girl quickly shook her head up and down and went running into the back. Abel just let out a small deep laugh as he finally turned back to Teneile. "Now on to your questions. I don't exactly know you personally but I believe that you are my brother's girlfriend, am I right. My brother's name is Drake Moldune and mine is Abel. I'm pretty sure that he never mentioned me since he must likely had no clue that I even existed. I was orphaned and lived in San Francisco for my entire life. As for how I can take away your sorrow..." Just as he was about to finish the waitress came and set the coffee on the table with on cup in front of Abel. "You really pick terrible times to interrupt me don't you? So please don't come back at all. That'd be great." And with that She ran to another table without ever looking back.
He looked out the window again and began to tell her what she most likely would love to her. "Now where was I... Oh yes, your sorrow. You probably believe that my brother, your boyfriend, is dead don't you? Well you couldn't be farther from the truth. He is alive somewhere out there and I believe that he is slowly making his way over her. So get that fucking pouty face out of here and stop mourning for someone that isn't truly dead! You of all people should have believed in the better not the worst! His body was never found, nor were any of his belonging, so you were just blinded by the fact he never came back to you. Now forget that everyone thought he died and go with your heart!" When he was done he grabbed on to his cup and filled it with coffee and drank it all in one fell swoop.
He took a couple more cup fulls and drank them all the same way. He then looked at Teneile once again with an angered face. "I have one more message for you and the rest of you Varron bastards. I'd keep low if I were you because more than half of the Hircine student are just waiting for you to screw up somehow so that they can take you out. This is the last thing I'm going to tell." He finished his last cup and placed a ten on the table. He then got up and walked out of the door and walked in front of the window of the coffee shop. He looked in at Teneile through the corner of his eye. 'Maybe I shouldn't just leave her like that. Well if she wants to continue this chat she'll come out and talk to me.'

And so they sat down and for a while he said nothing. Teneile remained silent as she sipped her coffee and tried her best not to ask more questions. She had so many but he had yet to answer her first questions. She waited for some time and even she began to look out the window. Already she knew the big difference between the two of them. This man was so much more rash and brazen. She didn't know what connection he had to Drake but she was going to stay here until he told her what he knew. She had to know to set her heart and her body at ease to know what was going on maybe he would tell her something that the police hadn't told her. She was eager to learn more, anything just any information about Drake at all.
The the waitress came and she just blinked as he was about as rude as you could get with her. Then he began to explain some things to her. He asked her if she was Drake's girlfriend and she nodded. He was his brother!? What brother he never mentio... oh. Suddenly he began to explain more and that was when the coffee girl came by handing him his coffee. The poor girl was near to tears when she left the table again and he seemed to have forgotten what they were talking about.
But soon he was back on target and talking to her again. Then he told her that Drake wasn't dead and she gasped. Her heart leapt and tears fell down her face. She listened as he verbally chewed her up one side and down the other. She bowed her head. He was right he was. She should have known deep down she had always thought maybe there was hope but her father. He told her all those things all that evidence and the.. but then what was.. and how could.. but ...
Suddenly he gave her more news. A message she wasn't going to tell anyone anyway but it didn't matter. What mattered was that she heard it. And with that he was up and gone. She lay a twenty on the table for the waitress giving her a huge tip for his assholiness and she ran after him. He was on the sidewalk again and she stopped him and threw herself into a hug her arms around his waist tightly as she cried into his shirt.
"They told me he was dead! My father, he's a police office.. he said they found remains. That I had to move. I didn't want to leave Varron. I wanted to stay incase he came back. He would know where I was. But then he made me leave and he won't let me go back. I wanted to find him. To burry him. To make sure he knew I thought about him every day but I couldn't. He wouldn't let me. Please.. Please tell me when can I see him? I miss him so much it .. it hurts. Please." she whispered as she looked up at him her tears falling down her cheeks.

Abel continued to stand outside the window as he watched Teneile with her head still down. She then put some more money on the table and came running out of the coffee shop. 'Stupid girl. I already gave that waitress plenty of money.' His thought's were once again interrupted, but this time by the squeeze of two arms around his body. Teneile had come out and hugged him, beginning to cry quite a bit. She told him that her father had supposedly found remains of Drake and he told her that they had to move right away. She said that she wanted to stay and bury his remains, but her father had insisted that they leave as soon as possible. She then asked him where Drake was because she wanted to see him. She looked up at Abel with tears running down her face, but he just looked back with his same cold eyes.
He slowly moved her off of him and placed her on a nearby bench. He stood in front of her with one of his hands inside of his trench coats pocket. The other quickly slapped Teneile across the face to snap her out of her delirium. "God you really need to grow up and stop crying over every little thing that either hurts or even kelps you. Drake, as of now, is in an unknown area right now. I know for a fact that he is slowly making his way over her to meet you, and he'll probably have his same little smile on his face. As you may have already noticed me and Drake aren't exactly alike in many ways, but we are still brothers. Now listen to me, and listen good. I am going to leave you here to think about all of the information I've given you. Your father is a liar, and you yourself have lied to yourself. I believe that you will be able to find the truth if you would only look deep inside of yourself."
And with that Abel placed a picture of Drake and Teneile on the bench and slowly began to walk toward the Hircine High. It was a long walk, but with his car completely demolished he had to take it. 'Looks like things will be interesting having a brother coming from Varron. I'll have to show him just how much I 'care' when he finally does arrive at Hircine. But until then, I think I'll get to know my fellow Hirciners and work my way up the ranks of the school. I've always liked a knew challenge, and I still need to find this Kyukaku kid and find out if he is truly as good as all those kids made him out to be.' Abel made his way around the corner of the street and disappeared from the sight of Teneile. He didn't want her to think they were friends, or even acquaintances.

Teneile felt him pull her back and he seemed to have no softness to him what so ever. He sat her down on the bench and stood in front of her. She just knew he was going to say something else what she really din't expect was the slap that came across her face. She grabbed her cheek and looked up at him not understanding what is going on. She looked up at him and that was when he finally decided to speak to her. She looked up at him and she nodded softly she didn't agree with him but she listened anyway.
Soon though he placed a picture of her and Drake down on the bench and walked away. She looked at the picture running her hand over it gently she smiled remembering that day. They had been happy together and she missed him more than he would ever know. She was up and she ran catching Abel's hand and looking up at him.
"Look buddy you're stuck with me. You're my only connection to him. I never even got to tell him that I felt something for him. More than just a normal girlfriend. I'm sticking with you for now and that's that. I'm persistant you can ask Drake later when he shows. I'm going to stick it out with you so you might as well just accept it now." she said as she looked up at him she showed him the picture.
"You see this.. You gave it to me. This is something important to me something I want back. You're my only connection to that. I want Drake back and I'm going to find him. If that means I get to deal with your bad attitude then so be it. I can bite back, I'm not afraid of you." she said as she walked beside him.

Abel had begun to walk away from Teneile, thinking to himself the whole time. 'My brother must be pretty pathetic to pick a girlfriend that's as big of a baby as she is. She can't control her emotions at all, and that will one day bring her demise. But why should I care about either of them? There just two other people from Varron that are nuisances to us true Hircinians. I'll screw both of their lives up at once, and laugh as I do it.' He heard small but load footsteps running toward him, but he didn't even have enough time to turn around to see who it was. Like he needed to because he knew who it was... It was Teneile, again. She grabbed onto his hand and began to walk with him down the sidewalk. He wanted to turn and yell at her to get away but he wasinterupted once again. 'How many times will I get interupted today? Its really getting annoying.'
She began to talk about how she was not going to leave his side until Drake came back for her. It was true that he was the only connection that she had to him, but he didn't want a little cry baby tagging along with him everywhere he went. She went one saying that she never got to tell him that she liked him even more than a boyfriend and he just roled his eyes and let out a sarcastic "Sure". She then shoved the picture in his face and went on with basically the same shit she had told him a few seconds ago. She said that she could deal with his attitude and that she could bite back too. He only smiled at the words as he stopped walking for a second. He looked at her hand that was holding on to his and shook it off with a couple strong movements of his arms and wrist. He then looked down at the now smiling Teneile with an annoyed look on his face.
" If you truly have to follow me then do as you wish. You won't get any more information from me because I know nothing more about his whereabouts or when he'll be coming back to you. I have only a few rules that you MUST follow if you're going to tag along with me. Number One: Don't ever cry in front of me or even by me ever again. Number Two: Never touch me ever again. Save that for when Drake comes back for you. Number Three: Don't interupt me when I'm thinking or talking, as I'm sure you've already noticed that it really annoys the hell out of me. And Finally: Stay away from me when we're in school or even by school. If you come by me at all I will hurt you on the spot. Follow these rules and I think I might actually be able to handle you. Now lets go!" He left her to stand and think about all he told her and continued on his way to the school and dorms. 'Today isn't my lucky day...'

Teneile let go of his hand after the first shake. She looked up at him as he stopped suddenly and began listing rules for sticking around by him. She smiled and crossed her arms over her chest as she listened to him because she wanted to be close to him not because she liked him but because she wanted to be close to Drake and if he was her only connection at the moment then she wasn't going to leave his side. She nodded at each of the rules especially the not to interupt him rule and she smirked softly. She looked up at him.
"My turn. Number one. You have to tell me anything you learn of Drake anything. Number two. Don't be an asshole. I'm not going to get in your way I merely want to be here when he comes back. I'll follow your rules but at least be civil." she said with a shrug.
"Umm.. do you .. have a place to stay? Cuz.. my dad isn't home often and I have two extra rooms. One will be Drake's when he gets home again, I have all this things and stuff. And the other can be yours if you like. If not that's okay. But I cook and stuff so if you ever wanted a meal or just a place to crash. You know.. whatever." she said with a shrug.
"So where are we headed then?" she asked looking up at him and putting her picture in her back pocket.

Teneile had nodded the entire time that Abel was setting his ground rules for following him. He had began to walk ahead, but Teneile had ran up right beside him once again. This time she was telling him her ground rules and he couldn't help but laugh. 'She has at least a little spunk in her. That's good.' Her two rules were he had to tell her everything that he would learn about Drake, and not to be an asshole to her. He laughed again at the second rules as he continued to walk down the sidewalk. She then asked him if he had a place to stay or not. She said that she had two extra rooms, one for Drake and one could be for him if he wanted. She told him that she was a good cook and a few other things, but he really didn't care at all. He had his dorm room in Hircine and so he didn't need a place to live, but maybe a save haven.
He continued to walk and look ahead as he began to talk to Teneile. "Well for your rules I can tell you that rule one won't be a hard one to follow, but I can't promise you that I won't be an asshole to you. I'm pretty much an asshole to everyone around me so I won't treat you any different. And besides, who are you tell give me rules to follow? I'm not following you so I shouldn't have to listen to your usless rules, but since I have a little kindness in my heart I'll follow your first rule. As for your offer to let me stay at your house, no thanks. I really don't think I could handle you everyday of my life, and I want to spend as much time away from you as possible. Besides, I already have a dorm room in Hircine anyway so there's no need to live with you." She then asked him where they were off to but all he did was smile and kept on walking.
They seemed to walk around forever before Abel finally stopped at the corner of the sidewalk. He look across the street and smiled. 'Finally I can loose this little twerp. She better follow my damn rules or I will hurt her.' He looked down at Teneile with a smartass smile as he pointed to Hircine High. "My final rule, little miss Teneile. Don't come near me when I'm at or near the school. If you do I won't hesitate to hurt you on the spot. Please don't break my rule, or I may have to break you." He laughed hysterically as he walked across the street and entered the school yard of Hricine High. "See ya later! If I ever leave that is! Hahahahahahah..."

Teneile chuckled she knew number two wasn't going to work but she wanted more than one rule. So she had come up with another. It mattered little and they walked together she didn't mind his attitude she could give it right back she didn't care how mean he was nor how hard he tried to lose her it wasn't going to happen unless it fell to one of the rules. But soon they found themselves in front of the school and that smile told her everything.
"Ass." she chuckled and put her hands in her pocket. She caught his hand and then let go it was just enough to stop him.
"I know you said no touching but I wanted to give you one thing before you left." she pulled out a small paper and a pen. She wrote her phone number and address on it along with her name in pink ink. "So you can get a hold of me should you find Drake before he finds me. Please.. please call." she said as she put it in his hand.
"Have a good one. And thanks for the pick me up." she chuckled as she took off down the street heading home her red hair shimmering in the light as she headed off.

Abel was now in the school yard and he stopped in the middle of it to look at the paper Teneile had placed in his hand. He opened up the crumpled paper and looked at it for a couple of moments before he put it into his pocket. He smiled as he continued on his way to the dorm rooms. 'She really wants to keep in touch doesn't she? Luckily I didn't give her my phone number as well. That would've be a BAD move on my part, but I didn't do it so whatever.' He laughed out loud as he walked into the dorm complex. He made his way to his room and opened it with the key he was given upon arrival. He walked in to see only a bed a couch and an end table with a TV on top of it. "Ahhh... Now this truly does remind me of the orphanage. I'll have to get some shit to decorate this place so it isn't as bland looking. Maybe some crimson colored paint, black carpeting, and a couple of posters. Yeah that seems alright to me. Heheheh, this is going to be an interesting school year. That's for sure." He shut the door behind him and all that could be heards was his laughing at all of his ideas.
