It had been days since Kuro had last talked with Abel and it really didn't bother him all too much knowing how he was, but the fact that Abel had missed their meeting today got him a little... concerned, maybe? Whatever. It didn't matter all too much that Abel had ditched out on him, it wasn't even all that important of a discussion -- not one they could have any other time, right? The questions grew and churned in Kuro's head as he lay alone in his dorm room. Come to think of it, Abel hadn't even been to his apartment in days. There had to be something going on for Abel to skip town like this.
Alright. Enough was enough, Kiyoshi thought as he sat up on the side of his bed, deciding to go check out Abel's place for any clues as to why he disappeared.
Kiyoshi stood and walked out of his apartment, closing and locking the door behind him. Abel's room was just down the hallway, so he didn't have far to walk to get to where he was headed. Upon reaching Abel's door, he reached down and tried the handle out of common sense. Locked.
Well, I guess I'm going to have to get in somehow... Kiyoshi thought as he backed up just under a leg's distance away. He inspect the doorway before sighing with a shrug. I guess this is it, he thinks just before pivoting his hips into a strong right sidekick aimed just above the doorhandle, busting in the door with a loud crack.
Kuro sighs and brushes off the dust from his pant leg before stepping into the small entryway and looking around the open space. Empty..? Where's all his stuff? he thinks to himself as he stares at a completely barren apartment.

Grey had been relaxing on the couch for the past couple of hours, and nothing seemed to be going on at all. The television was on quitely in the background while Grey just laid on there looking up at the ceiling. His first day in the school area had gone pretty good, but as always there were things that made Grey feel a little out of place. His roommate was a cool kid, but it was obvious that they were complete opposites in every way possible. They had a friendly race around the city, which was a great ice breaker, and it was a close race the whole way through. After the race he had met a young female student named Aina that at first was a little bitchy toward Grey, but soon grew fond of him. They were pestered by another student named Nash, but enough about yesterday.
Grey had begun to daydream as he looked up at the ceiling. He started to remember his time back when he was part of the Crystal Shadows. The many fights and good times that he had made him laugh to himself, but then he remembered his last day in the gang. The betrayal, the blood, and the words of the one person that he actually looked up to ran through his head. Then as he remembered the pain of the slash that his boss had given him, he heard the loud sound of wood splintering from outside of his dorm. Snapping out of his daydream, Grey slowly got up and looked toward his own door. "Well at least the sound isn't my door being kicked in. I wonder what the hell's going on out in the hall." And with that he got up off of the couch and walked toward his own door.
Opening the door, Grey saw a person close to his height standing in the room across the hall. He walked over to the doorway and leaned against the archway. He looked the guy up and down with his usual grin, and then looked at the room that he seemed to be surprised about. "If you're wondering why this room is empty I can tell you. Whoever lived here before was the brother of the person that used to live in my dorm before I came here. They supposedly got into a big fight, but only Drake's body was found. It was thought that this guy also died, but no one has been able to prove it." Grey then looked back at the serious lookin guy and laughed a little. "I'm sure you have your reasons, but you probably could have figured out an easier way of opening the door. My name's Grey by the way." He then waited with his arms folded over his chest.

After standing in the entryway for a couple moments, he ventured further into the apartment. He was looking for any small sign that Abel would have left, any clue as to why Abel up and disappeared form the school. Then he froze, standing quite normally but somewhat tense and at the ready nonetheless, as the click of a door behind him was heard. Of course someone heard him kick down the door. Luckily, the sound of the door opening was followed closely by a young man's voice... It wasn't Abel's brother's, Drake, voice, so who?
Kiyoshi turned to face the young man across the hall as he explained what he knew. He was about the same height as Kiyoshi but with a little more muscle mass and blue spiked hair. He also sported strange tattoos under his eyes, which weren't all too noticeable but were there nonetheless. Apparently Abel and his brother got into a fight and Drake ended up dying but Abel's body was never found. Abel had to still be alive, there was no other conclusion because he would never have allowed himself to be killed and by his own brother no less. The young man introduced himself as Grey and said something about finding an easier way to open the door. Well of course there was an easier way to open the door, but Kiyoshi didn't at that time have the patience to go all the way back to his room and get his knives to pick the lock. The kid seemed intense but he had a look to his eyes that generally meant well and informed him about what happened, Kuro, instead of blowing him off like he would most other people, decided to stay and chat a little.
"Yeah, well... I wasn't in the mood to pick a lock today, I guess. The name is Kurohyou and Abel was my best friend and he isn't really the type of guy that just disappears for no reason, ya'know? I'd have expected him to let me know he went into hiding but I guess he either didn't have time or he's dead like you say..." Kuro says as he makes his way back into the cramped entryway with some wooden shards scattered across the floor from the door frame. "Ya'know, there are a lot simpler ways to things but that doesn't mean we have to use them, right?" he says, kicking some of the bigger shards off to the side, with a wink as he offers his hand to Grey.

Grey stayed leaning against the door frame while he watched the other student stop at the sound of his words. He slowly turned around and seemed somewhat surprised to see Grey leaning there. Was he expecting someone else, or was he just surprised by Grey's appearance, Grey couldn't tell. He looked Grey up and down, most likely taking mental notes of Grey's attributes for future reference. The guy seemed to be in deep thought over what Grey had told him. Perhaps he knew the two brothers and couldn't believe what he was hearing from Grey. It really didn't matter because Grey was just stating what he knew about the whole situation. The guy then slowly walked closer to Grey and stopped a few feet away.
He then stated that his name was Kurohyou and that he wasn't in the mood for picking a lock that day. He then said that Abel was his best friend and he wanted to know why he hadn't contacted him lately. He also said that Abel wasn't the type of guy to just disappear without a word, but if he had died like Grey thought then that would explain a few things. Kurohyou then moved closer to Grey and kicked a few of the bigger pieces off to the side with a wink at Grey. He said that there were a simpler ways to get things but they didn't have to use them, and then held his hand out waiting for Grey's hand in return. Grey looked Kurohyou up and down with a grin but a slight raise of his eye brow before shaking his hand.
"Ummm... Why the hell do you have such a weird name?" Not really a nice thing to say to someone you just met, but Grey being the outspoken person he was, couldn't help himself. "Just wondering because you don't exactly come off as a Asian or anything like that. Is it like a nickname or something? Do you have a shortened version of it so that I don't have to repeatedly call you Kuro-whatever it was?" He then realized that he was ranting on about something that wasn't important and began scratching his head in frustration. "Anyways... So you knew the brothers or something? I never met them or anything, and I really don't care about what happened to them, but I believe that your friend is probably still alive."
Grey couldn't stop rambling on about things that were already said, but he really didn't care anymore. "You're right that there are easy ways to get things, but I tend to always take the harder route myself. I probably would have gone the same thing if I were in your place so don't worry about it. It will be our little secret." He said closing his eyes in a wider grin. "We'd better get out of this room before someone busts you for breaking this door down. If you want to come into my dorm follow me, unless you have something better to do." He the put his arms behind his head and walked toward his door, pushing it open with a slight kick. He let out a laugh as he looked back a Kurohyou. He just couldn't help himself from mimicking the kicking of the door.
