Post by Kit Clyner/Sky Hirano on Dec 23, 2006 22:12:26 GMT 1
Name: Sky Hirano
Age: 17
Nationality: American
Race: 75% Chinese, 25% Japanese
Fighting Style: No specific one, Custom. He uses a variety of moves instead of a single finishing move. Most of these are baseball based moved, from pitching punches to hammer fist swings. He does have two main moves he uses, the Homerun Fist and the Full-Game Barrage. The Homerun Fist is a bunch of steps forward, then a baseball swing, aimed for the middle of the ribs. The Full-Game Barrage is a bunch of baseball swings, mainly going from right to left, then the other way around, but it can be alternated.
Appearance: Sky is 1300 lbs., 5'10" tall, usually wears a dark navy blue shirt and black shorts. Sometimes, he wears black cargo pants or jeans. He has a medium build, light brown hair cut short and spikey in the front with dark blue eyes. Sometimes he also wears baseball gloves and a baseball cap. On a very rare occasion, he carries his metal or wodden bat around, slung on his back.
Background: Sky was Kit's best friend since grade school and has always been, although Kit went to Varron and Sky went to another public high school, they always kept in touch. Sky has an act for making things worse, but he also can makes things go by a lot quicker. Since youth, Sky was been dreaming of playing baseball in the championships, and has been a hardcore baseball player ever since he held a bat, which is why both of his arms pack a punch. When his parents remarried, that was around the time that Sky's team won the minor championships. He's been pretty good off ever since.
Unfortunately , that all went downhill when Kit and he both went to a public high school. They both became the punching bags of the thugs in the school, coming home every day with bruises and blood noses. Eventually, Sky had enough, beginning to integrate his baseball prowess into his own fighting style. Kit helps along the way, proving to be a good sparring partner, the two improving every step of the way. Eventually, they became the only people to stand up to the thugs of that school.
Unfortunately, all of that was being eyed by the staff and faculty of the school, whom, instead of getting rid of the thugs, got rid of Sky, who appeared to be the stronger of the two, sending him to a public high school. About two years after Sky had been moved, the high school was closed, meaning Kit was no longer there. Almost immediately after, Sky's school was closed as well, meaning that he was going to Varron.
Sky's fighting style is mainly consisting of punches and swing attacks, since those muscles were most developed. His legs have also developed, so he has a decent balance. But, his legs are also weaker since he doesn't really use them for more than giving him momentum behind his attacks and walking. He knows that Kit probably is at Varron, and hopes that they will be hanging out again like before.
Strength: Sky mainly focuses on a balance of speed and strength, which he tries to maintain, but can sometimes tilt to the strength side. He tries to put equal power into his attacks, so he doesn't overexert himself, but can take down an opponent. He always wants to help others in need, but he tries to be strong on his own. Due to his balance and equal power exertion, he can last pretty long in combat.
Weaknesses: Since he equals his power exertion out, he rarely put a lot of power behind it, meaning that it can draw out the fight. This means that it can possibly go over his lasting time in combat, possibly tiring him out. Also, since he doesn't have a specific use for his "varieties" of skills, it is possible that he could use the wrong one at the wrong time. Also, his legs would be a prime spot for an attack, since he rarely trains them for use other than regular uses, such as walking. Also, even though deceiption doesn't really affect him, it can be very disruptive if he grew attached to the person, whether it be a friend or not.
