Name: Elicia Grace Alexander
Nationality: Itallian/American
Ethnicity: Itallian
Sex: Female
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Birth Date: March 15, 1991 (Ides of March)
Height: Five feet, six and a half inches
Weight: One hundred and five pounds
Appearance: Elicia is a thin girl. You can defiantly see her bones and her veins in her pale smooth skin. She has a slight frame. Thin wrists, long fingers, long legs. She has a angular face. A small nose that centers her face with beautiful deep eyes on either side of it. Her mouth is gentle and small. Her lips are neither full nor too thin, just average and a soft pink that seems to accent her soft pale skin. Under her eyes, as pale as her skin is, she has soft lavender bruise like half moons. They are natural and so soft that they just seem like shadows under her eyes and nothing more. Her body like said is thin and frail. It isn’t natural. Having once been overweight she took on an eating disorder to become thin and now she is terribly thin but still healthy. For now.
Eye color: Elicia is afflicted by a condition known as Heterochromia. It is the a condition where her eyes are different colors. While one is blue, a soft sparkling gentle blue the other is green. A soft beautiful emerald that shines softly. Often times she hides this fact with contacts. Feeling self conscious about herself and her looks she tends to hide the oddities of it if she can. So most of the time she wears a green contact in her left eye making it green so that to the world she looks as though she has green eyes.
Hair: Finding that long hair either gets in the way or gets tangled and is too much of a pain to keep up, Elicia keeps her hair short. It’s nice and sporty allowing her to work out when she needs to without having to tie it up or worrying about it getting in the way. It’s a trendy cut, because as much as she hates herself and her body she does try to find ways to make herself happy with it. It’s layered softly around her face in her thick brown locks that filters around her face framing it softly.
Habits:
Reads out loud to herself.
Doesn’t eat unless she has to.
When concentrating she wraps her hair around her index finger over and over again.
Strays from physical contact with strangers.
Likes frogs, and has stickers and keychains, and stuffed animals of them everywhere.
Personality: Elicia is a very shy girl. Not so much that she can’t be confronted or talked to she just isn’t the type that will initiate conversation feeling herself very unworthy of attention. From males because there are far better women, and from women because they are always much prettier than she, so she thinks. If someone decides to talk to her she is very quiet you have to really listen to hear what she has to say because she doesn’t feel that what she does say isn’t important. She begins to open up though, and hidden behind a world of insecurity is actually a sweet fun loving girl. She enjoys many things in life but she feels herself completely inadequate to be among other people.
Elicia has a hard time making friends for this very reason. She really isn’t the kind of girl that opens up to people easily. Sometimes, of course someone might come along she feels comfortable with and will open up a little faster than other. But it’s rare and even then she’s slow opening up by most people’s standards. She does smile, her smile has two different sides to the world. The one is gentle and soft, a shy smile for when she is blushing and a little out of her element. The other is more bright, the kind that makes her eyes light up almost laughing and having a good time. She can laugh and has though you might think so as seldom as she does. But her laugh is light and cheerful allowing her rosey cheeks to fill with blood and her body seem to finally have life within.
She is also quite intelligent. Reading and studying are things she does quite often. During her off period, or study period, she is usually found in the library doing exactly what she is supposed to do. Studying. She is the kind of person that feels good when the number at the top of her returned homework is above the ninety percent mark. She enjoys watching educational TV and while she would not know what happened on last night’s soap opera last night that all the popular and pretty girls are talking about in the mornings, she knows about the latest scientific discoveries and the newest inventions and developments. She enjoys sitting down to write a story and yes, she even enjoys doing her homework because the sense of accomplishment when it’s finish is something that can always make her smile. Elicia is also Queen of Microwaveable dinners. She doesn’t know how to cook, and she really doesn’t think she could learn. She just lives with what the cafeteria serves or what she can whip up in her micro.
In crowds Elicia stays quiet. Even if she met friends and was with a group of them she often tends to fall into the background following and listening but not really putting in unless someone actually directs something to her. Even in classrooms and group activities Elicia is more likely to just fill out the answers on her own page while the others around her talk and chatter along like they aren’t actually doing or supposed to be doing any work. She is the kind of girl that sets the curve, and ends up getting the grade for group projects because she actually sits down and does all the work not worrying about the others not pitching in.
Hobbies:
Elicia plays the violin. She began to play when she was only five years old her parents put her into a class and began making her play in hopes that she would amount to something. She has played non stop and still takes lessons even now to better herself.
Anime. She is a fiend and collects as many as she can afford. Often saving up her allowance to buy herself box sets since they tend to be cheaper than buying them DVD by DVD. She has quite the collection already and like said she constantly buys more preferring to spend her money on that and her stuffed frogs than anything else.
Reading. Elicia has a hunger for knowledge. Enjoying more than anything to just curl up in front of her small fire place or space heater with a blanket and a stuffed frog and read the latest ‘National Geographic’ or some non-fiction book that she could really enjoy and learn something she doesn’t already know.
Exercise. One thing that she is almost obsessive about is working out. Feeling herself much too fat to be pretty or even attractive in any way. With her issues about herself feeling that she needs to be better Elicia works out a lot at least two to three hours every day no matter the weather, she will find a way to work out.
Art. One thing she excels at that no one ever pushed on her was her drawing and painting. She loved to do real life. Painting scenes or perfect pictures. Many times you will catch her somewhere with a pad in her hand drawing something she sees around her or merging things she likes and putting them all into one picture. She can do things from her mind, create her own fantasy realms but she is better with real life.

Sports: Swimming. It is really the only sport you will see her participate in. While she is graceful when she moves around normally when it concerns sports she is clumsy and just becomes a target. Hit in the face by volleyball. Dodge ball target. Basketball she trips over her shoe laces. Not quite athletically inclined. So swimming is something she can do without spraining her ankle, coming home with a black eye, or generally taking masochism to a new level.
History:
A small Villa that sat beside the flowing and bustling streets of Rome. It was there that one day, on March 15th to be exact that the world around the small Villa would hear the cry of the newest Roman to be born. While she was technically Italian she was Roman at heart for Rome was a proud city even now after it’s great fall no one, not even the foreign countries could forget the wonderfulness that had been Ancient Rome and the benefits and technology it had given the world. It was here that a young teenage mother had given birth in the quiet dark room of her parents’ home. It was all hush hush of course, because the girl was not married, she was not even betrothed or engaged and yet she had given birth to a child. No, this was not the second coming of Christ, for several reasons. One, the babe was a small girl. The second because while no one knew exactly who the father was, he was defiantly not God and even more so the mother, one Domenica Casius was no longer a virgin.
And so the child was deemed Elicia with no last name because in truth she could not be given one not having a father. She was quickly taken in by the family but Domenica did not live up to being a good mother. She was always gone, out living her wild life style again. Always in a hurry to get out of the house and only coming home long enough to get some money and a little food before she ran off again. Elicia was left in the care of her grandparents but they were old, and defiantly too old to care for an infant that needed constant care at night and during the day. Her eyes were different colors and her grandmother though Elicia cursed because she was obviously a ‘touched’ child cursed by the devil himself her grandparents being devout Catholics. So in a hurry her grandmother began to make arrangements. Something had to change, the girl and her mother had to go. There had to be a way to stop the wild ways of Domencia and get her out of their home with her demon baby.
A cousin that lived in America told them that he would take her in, help her find something to do with herself in America. Yet, even this, was not enough for the grandparents. They wanted solid roots. So they put out a ‘mail order bride’ application to the states and the magazines were sent out the next month.
Eighteen year old Italian girl, black curly hair, green eyes, thin frame. One infant. Four months of age. Pair sold together. Contact office for more information.
It wasn’t long before the office was indeed contacted by the business tycoon Michael Alexander. He owned and ran a company that forested the trees, tearing them down and turning them into lumber or into fine pieces of furniture that people paid entirely too much money for. He was good at his job and his life showed for it but he had no time to date and meet a woman not out for his money. So, he had been looking into getting a wife from overseas. When the catalog had come in her had read through it looking at the different pictures and nearly instantly found a soft spot for Domencia and her daughter little Elicia. So he contacted the office and soon mother and daughter were on a flight across the world to meet and begin living their new lives. Domencia of course was livid. Her parents had stabbed her in the back and all because she had gotten pregnant because of some English tourist one night during a festival. So she paid even less attention to her daughter than she had before blaming the small girl that had such lovely eyes for her fate.
Landing in America they were met at the gates by the entourage and not even Michael himself. He had an important business meeting he could not leave from and such it was they were introduced to life with an American conglomerate. And so rushed to the large mansion they began their lives. Lives lived in luxury, wanting for nothing, but also never really having the feelings that could not be bought. But in that time abuse had taken place. Domencia was very unhappy with her life. While she was showered with gifts and money she was missing out on life. Forced to live in a gated community. Forced to live in the confines of an American wife and forced to live in a home she did not like. And so it began. The abuse of the young girl.
Elicia Alexander as she was now named given a father that was defiantly willing to give his name to the adopted daughter. She loved her father, knowing no one else to fill such a void. He was rarely home but when he was, he would play with her and take her shopping showering her in praise and gifts. He wouldn’t let her mother degrade her when he was there, and he kept her close taking good care of her like nothing else. However, when he was gone her life was a completely different story. Like some children Elicia had problems loosing some of her baby fat. She was by no means over weight just a little on the pudgy side but like most children she would grow out of it, or work it off as life took over because she was already an active child.
But that was not enough. A day could not go by that her mother did not scream at her. Claiming her unfit for everything. Too fat, too slow, too stupid, too everything negative that came to her mind. This of course took it’s toll on the young girl. She began to loose confidence in herself. When ever she picked up something to eat it would be knocked out of her hands, her mother having watched as Michael fell in love with his daughter and not her. How he gave her all his attention and she was jealous of what her daughter got and not what she did. She tore the girl to pieces. Her eyes, her skin, her body, her movements, her grades.. Everything became a weapon to use against the young growing and impressionable girl until the young Elicia began to see the same things in herself that her mother saw. Worthlessness. Elicia began to see benefits in everyone else but herself. Even her father saw the difference in his daughter. He would come home from business trips to take her shopping and spend time together and watch as she picked herself apart her mother no longer had to do it, it was second nature.
As much as he tried he could not get her to feel better about herself. He was not home long enough but he knew what it was. He didn’t get himself up in American Business without actually having a brain, he knew that there was something going on and Domencia was at the bottom of it. On his next visit home he was angry, very angry how could she tear her only daughter apart like that. If it wasn’t for Elicia he would have divorced Domencia and sent her back to Rome. But he couldn’t leave his daughter and she had been legally adopted by him after the marriage to make her a US citizen. But the laws would not let him get her mother deported. So after a large fight that left poor Elicia in tears he packed up her things and took her with him to San Fransico where he lived most of the time. His daughter he could now have her close and hopefully help her begin to see herself in a more bright light. Help her begin to understand she was not the person her mother told her she was for the last sixteen years. It would be a long and hard road but he felt like he could do it with some help and time. With her living closer now he could give her that time. Setting them up in a large home, not the mansion they had come from, but a nice home but defiantly very wealthy and in a good subdivision. Soon though, he found a school that she could stay in, a place where she could be surrounded by peers that he hoped would have a positive influence on her.
So he paid and enrolled her in the Hircine High. There she would be given a fresh start. She would be able to make friends and hopefully grow to like herself more than she does now. But he allowed her one week to settle in. A week before she had to start the school and begin to try to fit in all over again. And it was in that week she met her best friend. His name was Deacon DelaVega and he lived across the street from her father’s house. They met one day when she had walked to the end of the suburban street to collect the mail from the communal mail box. He had been the first to speak, something had made him and she still is unsure of what it was. She had used her small copper colored key to open the mail slot and pulled out the mail for her and her father. Standing there, in a green sweater and a white skirt that fell to her knees thumbing through the mail a heavily accented Spanish voice came to her.
Looking up she had seen Deacon for the very first time. And while shy they began to get along, exchanging names and talking a little as they walked back down the street together, him being more of a gentlemen at the moment escorting her but she figured it was just an excuse to walk with her. She learned that he had moved in just slightly before she had, and had seen her and her father unpacking from his own home across he street. She found that they would be attending the same high school together and it really made her feel a lot better about starting a new school and being able to hopefully start with Deacon since they were about the same age and would be in the same grade. When she stopped in front of her house he bid her goodbye and they parted ways. But every day at 3pm they would meet and talk as they went down the street to check their mail and walk home together. Elicia had always been shy and still was now not good at talking about herself with other people but Deacon always made her feel special, no matter what was going on he ust had that way about him.
He began to hang out over at her house when he could. They would watch movies together and he realized then that she didn’t like to eat. He would watch her and he could see that she wouldn’t eat or didn’t. He never said anything about it, but he saw it and she knew it was just something they never discussed. And now that they have become good friends, Elicia feels slightly better about starting her new school. They were to go together, and they ended up having many classes together thanks to a little finagling on her father’s side. Since he had seen how Elicia would light up when the door knocked and Deacon was there to spend the afternoon with them. And so now Elicia begins her new school where she will try to find a place to fit. She has one person she knows will be there, her very best friend, but what of the rest? Only time will tell.
Fighting Style: Elicia in a word has no real fighting style. To be honest as thin and as light weight as she is she couldn’t do much anyway. But in a pinch, in a spot where she really has to fight she could do it if she had to. She really has no style because she isn’t a fighter at heart. She is a more peaceable girl. Someone that will run first if it’s at all possible and in truth that is her main defense. Run. But sometimes that is not possible and running is just not something she can do she can stay and fight she just.. well she sucks at it to be Frank. She will just do whatever comes to mind. Letting her body just flow in a sense. Kicks, punches, smacks, grabs, anything and everything she can that she thinks might help her find a chance to run or get away. There is of course the classic call for help. She is not above asking for people around to help her. You never know when someone might be the hero type and jump in to save her skin and she is not going to waste that resource.
Strengths: Elicia has little strength so there is not much in a physical way she could be strong. Her legs and arms have a little muscle from swimming but with her eating disorder her body holds little fat and muscle. But her endurance is extremely high. Mainly her strengths as one might think lie within. In her soul and her mind. But even then so few lie there as well. She is the kind of girl that sees strengths in others and not in herself though she might have them she never sees them. So she in short, is brave, gentle, kind, compassionate, and dedicated.
Weaknesses: Now weaknesses is something that Elicia has a plethora of. She is small and thin because of her eating disorder. She is so thin that she had little to no protection and padding on her body because of the amount of exercise and the lack of food. She is easily broken, not mentally but physically because of that lack of padding and her thin bones from lack of nutrition. She isn’t easy to break mentally. Years of mental and emotional abuse have prepared her mind to take a lot. She already doesn’t like herself so picking on her is going to do nothing but get her to agree with you. Because she doesn’t eat much she can run out of energy quickly in a fight.
((OOC: I am planning to develop her. Allow her to grow from the fragile and malnutritioned shell she is not and begin to grow into someone confident. So right now while she might appear ‘too weak’ I assure you I have played characters like this before, but I want to start low and grow instead of start high and fall.
Also, I was approved, for this to be my third character and am aware that it will be under a trial run to make sure I can balance all three of my girls equally.))
