Name: Paseni Nefai Kalamafoni
Nickname: Seni or Leka which means Junior in the Tongan language
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Tongan
Attended School: The Paragon Institute
Age: 18
Weight: 265
Height: 6’2”
Appearance-[/i]
Body:
Seni is built like every other Tongan and Polynesian, big! Very broad shoulders, big arms, and thick legs. He is definitely not very defined but everyone who is in his presence can see he is built more like a NFL defensive line-man than a forward in soccer. His most noticeable characteristic is definitely his big upper body.
Cosmetic:
Seni is usually found in jeans (normally Evisu brand) Timberland boots of varying color, and t-shirts of varying brands and style. Normally they are bigger sizes (just think of any rapper today and you can picture what Seni wears). Fitted caps, beanies, and du-rags is what he wears on his head when he can. A blue bandana is always in his back left pocket showing allegiance to a past life he is still trying to leave behind. On his back across his shoulders is a big TCG tat in Old English writing. His chest is covered in Polynesian tats. On his stomach over his abs is the writing “Tongan Crip”. His left forearm is covered in a tattoo that depicts beach from his home island (Nakau) in Tonga. His right forearm, on the inside, is dedicated to his fallen family and friends. Their names tattooed in blue ink, 97 names total. Under his left eye is a tear drop. On his throat the words Tongan Style is tattooed block letters. Scars cover his hands. His time spent in the streets as a youngster shows itself in these scars. Knife wounds cover his forearms, right bicep, and stomach. Four bullet scars can be found on his body, one above his left knee, one in the middle of his left bicep, a scar in the middle of his right hand, and the final in his left peck.
Eye color: Dark Brown
Hair: Black ,cut very short in a fade like style
Habits:
Seni loves to smoke. Anything he can get his hands on. From cigars to cigarettes to anything else. He loves to smoke. He always love to drink Kava. Kava is a root that is found on the Tongan Islands. When you grind it up into a dust you mix it in water and drink it to become completely intoxicated, just like alcohol. The Polynesian people use this root/drink in ceremonial events like weddings or when men and women come of age, but the younger generations that are more Americanized like to do it just to get completely twisted. Before a fight or something exciting he rubs his hands together. When he wants to get some ones attention he shushes at them as is always done in his native culture of Tonga. His eyes are always moving. He hardly ever makes eye contact unless he is very interested in the conversation or getting aggravated. It’s not that he is timid it’s just how the Tongan people are.
Other Information[/i]
Personality:
Like all Tongans, Seni loves to be naughty. Not really bad or evil but just likes to push peoples buttons in his own little almost sadistic way. Seni is always scheming on someone. He can’t look at someone new with out seeing dollar signs or the opportunity to make some money off of them or use them to get some sort of gain. You can of course blame that on the life of being a banger. Trust and loyalty is the most important thing that this Islander has, he doesn’t give it out easily, but once you have his trust, he rides until the end whatever the problem or situation is. He is also very proud of being a Tongan, even a little racist at times, viewing others as lesser beings because they aren’t Tongan like him. Paseni Leka, although he doesn’t show it, is always worrying about something. On the inside, in the deepest darkest corner of his mind he is always worrying about the consequences. He often pushes it aside, but it’s always there.
Hobbies:
Seni loves to work out. It gives him the time to clear his often busy mind and take his aggression out in positive ways. Watching movies, playing video games (especially sports games), and watching the All-Blacks play Rugby. Seni also is fond of writing poetry and music (mostly hip-hop and R&B). His favorite music is Reggae but he also enjoys Hip-Hop.
Extracurricular:
Rugby- Seni played Rugby, like most Tongan boys, and was a very good Prop. Other then that if he wasn’t in school or playing Rugby he was off doing something else, usually involved in some sort of ‘street’ connected activities.
Important Details
History:
Paseni (Pah-Sen-ee) Leka (Le-kah) was born on the little island of Nakau (Nah-Cow) where his father and mother both had lived for the majority of their own lives. The third of 7 kids, the big family wanted to live a little better than being farmers in the islands raising crops to survive the stormy seasons. His father and him moved to California when he was 6. They lived in the rougher parts of LA county until they finally settled in a neighborhood area called Santana. The Project there were ran by the Tongan Crip gang. Paseni Senior worked hard doing concrete work with other Tongans in the area, making decent money and saving all he could so he could pay for his families immigration. Seni Leka, like most Tongan youth, had a very large pride issue. When the Samoan gangs started moving into his neighborhood he and the other youth in the area started to join the local Tongan gang.
Seni was quickly accepted in the gang because of his attitude. He didn’t care where it was he was more than willing to throw hands, use a knife or club, or get it going with a burner at any given time. Many of his problems and legal troubles came from this attitude. Most of his brothers in the Crips respected the young banger for how he got his hustle on in all forms. Whether it was hand to hand deals, robberies, extortion, or just holding it down for his section, Seni was always the first to make move.
A very important thing Paseni Leka learned while running the streets was loyalty. Seni was painfully loyal to his Crip “family“. No matter the consequences. A few 60 day stints in the local Detention hall proved this. He would never snitch on his brothers, no matter what sentence he faced. Once, because one of the Crips he ran with snitched on him to other opposing gang members, Seni was caught up by a bunch of bigger, tougher Blood’s out on Santana Ave. in his neighborhood. Seni never backed down from the Samoans. The Blood’s beat the then 15 year old thug, stabbed him four times, and take his flag and soaked it in his own Blood, showing the disgrace he brought to his set. Seni spent a night in the ER, the next day he went and found the snitch.
Always loving competition, when Seni was in the streets or at home he was playing pick up games of Rugby. He loved Rugby. The raw competition and physical aspects of the game fit the young Tongan very well. He played the position called Prop. Leka always loved to play Rugby. It was a game where he could loose himself for a few hours and not worry about what was happening out on his block.
A turning point in Leka’s life, a serious event that changed his view on how he trusted people and looked at the world was when he got shot. Out on the block all night was nothing new for the 15 year old gangster. Hand to hand “business” sales brought in a good amount of cash to him. He mostly used the profit to buy up more work from other Salesmen, buy burners, and buy new flashy clothes that his Pop’s could never afford him. Seni was doing his normal work one night when a fellow Crip member from a different hood came through and stuck Seni for his work. Seni tussled with the gunman, but the bigger, stronger thug got the upper hand. A slug to the knee, chest, bicep, and finally as he was trying to block a slug with his left hand. Seni laid in his own blood, shaking and trying to scream for help. The chest wound quickly made him pass out from the loss the pain and loss of blood. Two days in a coma, Seni awoke to his father kneeling on the side of his bed, praying. Tears streamed down Paseni’s face. Leka spoke softly, his father cried and thanked God even more for delivering his son from the clutches of death.
Still as a banger, Seni’s future was very bleak. His father, now worried more every day since his shooting, took the money he had saved for his family to immigrate and sent him away to school by his father in hope of helping his son reform. Seni went to Varron but was almost instantly transferred because of something, he didn’t know nor did he really give a damn. The transfer sent him back to Cali. To his state. Close to his home. Closer to his family not his father but his street family.
Fighting Style:
Never trained in any fighting style, Seni is a typical brawler. His upper body strength gives him vicious power in his punches. His bone structure in his jaw makes him unbelievably hard to knock out. He is definitely a stand and slug it out type fighter. He’s not much in kicking, grappling, or doing any fancy shit. Just let him slug it out with who ever. He doesn’t care. If he goes to the ground, it will be on his decision, usually to beat the piss out of his competition. His experience and skill comes from a rough life of banging in the street. Fist fight after fist fight taught him a lot about fighting and handling his business.
Strengths:
Seni is a powerhouse. No doubt. What he lacks in speed he makes up in the power to cold-cock his opponents. He can be very precise with his punches, when he takes the time to actually pay attention and think on where he swings. His biggest strength is definitely to withstand a beating. His genes make him very sturdy and durable in the toughest fights. The Islander is also very hard to take down given if you get within range of his big hands he’ll most likely level you with a few well placed punches.
Weaknesses:
Speed is what Seni lacks. He can’t keep up with the really fast fighters. His pride also gets the better of him. He thinks because everyone else is not an Islander, he can whip on them easily. Unfortunately, some people are trained fighters and know how to adapt and deal with bigger sometimes tougher opponents. Seni also doesn’t adapt well to other types of styles and fighters. He definitely doesn’t think stuff through very much. Seni just jumps in, feet first, damn the consequences of his decisions.
