Name: William Robert Fletcher
Age: 18
D.O.B: September 6th, 1989
Height: 6' 8"
Weight: 265lbs
Hair: His hair is dark, though several months of scorching heat have sun-bleached a lot of the lustre out of it and dulled it down to a lighter shade of brown. Also, during his incarceration, he was forced to cut his hair short upon registration. Nowadays, there tends to be a constant stubble on his face, a result of not being allowed to own a razor whilst at the institution. More than anything a habit developed out of necessity, he will cut short anything that seems to grow straggly before it can.
Eyes: Light brown.
Nationality: Irish
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Appearance/Build: His muscles were well-formed in the first place, and the six months he has spent incarcerated have left him with the 'free time' to develop them further and far beyond anything he'd considered. Unlike before, Will has turned his body into what can only be described as a tank, packing power into his body with every passing day. His upper body is most notable with thick arms sculpted to masterpieces and ripples of sharp muscle everywhere else. Despite this mass of punching power, Will didn't neglect his lower body and has gained stronger legs, though sacrificing a little of his former quickness in order to do so.
Full body shot
Clothing: Tends to be most comfortable in jeans and loose shirts, but is also not unknown to wear track pants, hooded sweaters, sleeveless tops and other various items of clothing....It's difficult to label his clothing all in all, because he really tends to wear what he feels comfortable in on that day. Such an observation could only really be done on a day-to-day basis of the young man, but he does have a few items that show recurrence in his appearance, namely the rings he wears. One of which is present on the middle finger of his right hand, a typical Celtic band that his mother bought him for his sixteenth and slipped in the envelope along with his learners permit, the other a standard solid band for the most part before it divides into a triquetra at the top side, weaving strands of silver threading through itself, that hangs on a thick silver chain around his neck.
Personality: Stern and curt, quite simply. Will has forgone much of his former patience over the last half-year, forced to fight in the detention center to establish his own position frequently and leaving him little but contempt for most unfamiliar faces. His dry and gruff manner is often deterring, and with the overall presence he seems to give off he tends to have little need to deal with the unfavourable individuals he would much rather avoid. He would privately admit enjoying the company of people he knows and is willing to tolerate newcomers, so long as their conversation is not trivial or callous.

History: Born into a relatively large family, the second youngest of six children, William was not without company or family at any point of his life. His parents were pleasant people and happily married, and despite not having jobs that paid well, as the young man would later learn more about, lived in comfort. They had a nice house with a garden, drove a car with fairly recent plates, never really wanted for anything...In short, the kid had a pretty good deal when he was born. In his younger years, he progressed through nursery and primary school with little event, the expected schoolyard scrapes occurring, but with his four older brothers being well known to many of the other children he more often than not was given respite.
They however more than made up for it, and in typical sibling fashion, they often fought...Sometimes verbally, having coarse shouting matches across the house, sometimes with beatings that at first, William was virtually powerless to prevent. His brothers being far bigger, stronger, faster than him...But they were much older, and nearing the end of their growth into adults. William was barely entering his, and over the years quickly grew, not exactly towering over any of them but finding himself much more on an even fighting field to the others. Taking into account that he had spent years in these sibling rivalries, taking the beatings, he was much more capable of dealing with his siblings. His strength and speed surpassing theirs after the inadvertent training they had effectively given him. In his final years of primary school, he had the 'privilege' of a small group of boys from the neighbouring town approaching him and attacking him, admittedly giving him something of a beating and leaving him bloodied and bruised from the onslaught, during which the shouts of 'scum' and 'Sinn Fein' still lingered in his ears...
Unable to understand where their actions rooted from, he spent a few days unsure of it until he began to see patches of graffiti on walls and buildings around his town, labelling his two oldest brothers, now at 19 and 21 respectively, as IRA soldiers. Knowing that such an accusation could get people killed, he immediately confronted the pair, the 14 year old boy standing in front of them and loudly laying down the words before he took a swift punch to the mouth from his oldest sibling...The revelation that it was in fact true was like a swift kick into his midsection. It was also soon revealed over the coming days that not only were his two elder siblings members, but his father was as well, second in charge of a small cell of the militant faction. Unable to deal with the issue, his mother quickly grew cold and distant from the three eldest males of the family, barely tolerating them and moving bedrooms away from their father.
It only took a few weeks for the police to come knocking, and with what could be considered an anticlimatic reaction, their father stepped forward as his brothers were being cuffed, the intention to take them into custody for suspicion on being party to terrorist actions, nominating himself fully responsible for any and all actions to take the heat off of his boys. In a display of affection that hadn't been seen between the two, he gave his wife a tender parting kiss, walking uncuffed but restrained from their home into the back of a police van...When the drama ceased unfolding, his mother simply turned to him and told him to begin packing....
Within two months, the family, minus the two oldest brothers who after a series of arguments regarding their mothers animosity to them after their fathers arrest.--She blamed them, although understandably in his view, for their father being taken away...She blamed them for having to raise the family herself, and would not forgive them...-- When they chose to stay, she barely batted an eyelid at them and simply continued to move on, and when the visa applications were accepted, within a fortnight they found themselves in America. Settling in San Francisco, California, his mother and older brother both quickly found jobs working for a fishing company. It paid well enough to keep them comfortable, settling into a nice home and getting the feel for the country and its surroundings. The younger children were enrolled in schools, William finding his place in a school called Hircine High. It was, to say the least, a sharp change in pace to that which he was used to in times gone by. The school had apparently adopted a corporal punishment system over the years, and unlike back home where expulsion and the like were commonplace for troublemakers, here they just got a beating…
The methods quickly drew distase from the young man, his attitude towards the schools methods loathsome and disrespectful. He took his own share of punishments over the years as he deliberately challenged the authority that tried to prevent his expressions and opinions, and it simply hardened him to the things he grew used to seeing. In time, he simply stopped caring, taking the beatings teachers would issue with a raised eyebrow as they stopped affecting him, watching quietly from the side as things changed. Pillars and a captain had their own influence as well, a bunch of students their reclusive headmaster had granted the authority to dish their own brand of control out…William quickly grew to loathe those students, his silent attention watching them before the arrival of the students transferred in from Varron.
Whilst he had paid little attention in the past, the arrival of these students provoked him to find out more. It was soon enough discovered that their arrival was, in part, due to rebellions against the system among other things.
Well, take one Hircine student disillusioned by a school that allows kids to be punished at the whim of a few, add a few hundred students from another school they managed to get closed down, a touch of unrest among Hircines population, and William quickly found a reason to get more in touch with these newcomers.
Recent History[/u]
Within a few weeks of the transfer students arriving, William made himself recognised within the school when he intervened in an attack on a Varron girl by a couple of the Hircine students. Getting her from harm, he relished the chance to take a pop at some of the students before his fight was broken up by the former pillar, Kurtz. A previous distaste for the slightly older youth quickly became a visceral hatred, and though Will would never get the opportunity to exact his revenge on the pillar himself, he sated the anger by systematically destroying the majority of the Football team. Taking out their star players, he was careful to avoid notice for the best part of his campaign against them but inevitably the beatings were traced back to him. For the most part, little could be done. Nobody could outright prove anything, none of the players would talk for fear of Wills latent threats, all it was in the end was hearsay and rumours. True rumours, perhaps, but rumours all the same.
During this bloody campaign of his, however, Will also found himself meeting a young lady named Valencia. His intent for searching her out stemmed almost entirely due to her former relationship with one of Hircines old linebackers, thinking he could find out some information from her, but upon discovering her he found himself drawn into a domestic brawl against the very ex he'd been looking for. Agon, a dirty fighter, had attempted to attack Valencia with several weapons as Will intervened out of muted concern. He'd no connection to the girl, but out of equal parts noble behaviour and his own agenda, he stepped in and exchanged blows with Agon and several of his friends along with a few other students helping out where they could. Invariably, the brawl concluded without Will getting the information he sought, and as a last-minute decision he grabbed Valencia as he made his own getaway from the security who were closing in on the scene. Afterwards, a sort of friendship developed between the pair and Will eventually competed in a competition she was involved in against rival schools, though partly that was due to another friends involvement spurring him to it as well.
Not all of his time was spent hunting down football players, however, and even the grim Irishman made time for the occasional bit of recreation. One of a handful of students who skinny-dipped in the fountain with Aryn Valcoph, a girl he was drawn to for both her charm and her....'charm', he made acquaintance with a few other students whose timing brought them to the same place. A month or so down the line, Aryn gave another display of her spontaneity when she made the eventually brash move to detonate batches of fireworks around the school. Brash?
After Stern had made his failed attempt to usurp MacMillan, the Watchers had been put into place only a few weeks before Aryns little stunt. As a result, she was beaten mercilessly by them and hospitalised. Will would spend a few days at her bedside before leaving for Hircine again, a deep rage within him as he planned his own way to get back at the Watchers. A futile effort in the numbers game, but with his judgement drastically clouded, he would get some vindication for it in time.
Not before, however, a visit to The Lions Tooth to find Seth Calloway, the head of Revelation...Word of the youth had reached him in the weeks prior to his appearance in the bar, and he immediately created a scene to draw out the gangs leader for a brawl. Without anything other than a question of male pride as the motivation, Will and Seth ended up fighting each other brutally in the bar, though the conclusion was something of a stalemate between the pair. As a result, Will forged ties with Revelation that would last for a long time, though he never made any official connections with the gang aside from a casual allegiance from time to time. Aryn, present at the bar as well (before her assault by the Watchers) was tied in with the group in much the same way.
After a while, Will eventually took his shot at a few of the Watchers, exploding in a vicious rage with a cricket bat and beating several of them to the ground before eventually being overwhelmed and receiving a beating of his own, one that saw him with a broken leg and injuries that took long enough to heal before he returned to Hircine, though he eventually made the mistake of landing in trouble again when he lashed out at a pair of students who tried to provoke him in his injured state, catching one of them in the jaw so badly he would require reconstructive surgery to repair the damage to his face and jawbone. As a result, Will was kicked from Hircine to the Sterling Facility, a juvenile detention center for the rehabilitation of violent and aggressive youths. At least, that was what the warden called it.
Six months for what he'd done, and Will made no effort to contest the matter. Instead, he focused on getting past those six months with his head down. Unfortunately, he wasn't given that luxury and was coerced into fighting frequently after some of the more ruthless kids decided that taking down a guy of his size would be good reputation for themselves. Winning once however meant he was constantly being approached by others wanting to take the shot at him...It died down after a while, but without the same perspective as he'd had initially, Will set about transforming himself from the burly fighter he had been before into a practical giant of a man. Combined with a growth spurt in the later stages of adolescence and the brutal regime of weights and boxing he put himself through, William eventually left the Sterling Facility a much different youth to the one who had walked through the door.
With MacMillan dead and the school without the Watchers anymore, however, Will would be returning to Hircine fuelled by the same revenge he'd desired before with none of the targets to take it out on.
Six months can change a lot.
Fighting Style: An outright brawler. He has no set style nor does he feel a requirement for one. His attacking patterns are random and depend entirely on his opponents movements, which he follows with a good instinct for fighting and will commonly set about intercepting, striking them down quickly with savagely fast punches. He has little capacity for footwork and tends to focus on his knees if he ever uses his legs, but his speed with his upper body is enough to keep him from such a need. His punches are his biggest weapon, quick and frighteningly strong. A smaller fighter will be hard-pressed to withstand more than a couple of his punches. Considering his size, he isn’t adverse to using his weight to throw an opponent around, exploiting his natural ability.
Strengths: Most obviously, pure, utter power. Will has punches strong enough to knock down virtually any fighter, and his grappling is now a key weapon. His strength makes tossing around an opponent a childs game to him now, and though it has diminished a fair bit, he still throws his punches with surprising speed for someone of his massive size. Atop it all, his raw, inborn stamina gives him phenomenal endurance paired with the density of his muscle to absorb the attacks his opponents might land, letting him fight through a lot of punishment without showing any real injury.
Weaknesses: Whilst he can throw a punch and move his upper body with surprising speed, he’s still no sprinter. His overall movement is quite slow and sluggish in comparison to a lighter, more agile individual. The fact that his attacks are limited to brawling and improvised wrestling, grappling type holds can make him predictable in a more drawn-out fight as well, giving his opponents a chance to work out his strategies and the like. As a double-edged sword to his ability to take a lot of punishment, however, he has an invincibility complex, willing to take unnecessary attacks simply to make the point of his ability to take the damage. A well-placed hit could prove disastrous if his opponent is clever enough.
Other Information
Hobbies: A slightly withdrawn individual, Will enjoys his own company for the majority of the time and is content to simply walk around with headphones in, letting his feet take him wherever they happen to go. He does have a considerable knack for art, though he rarely implements it in favour of something else. At best, he might sit with a sketchbook and throw down something from his head.
