Name: Magnus Bajerholm Dane.
Nationality: Norwegian.
Ethnicity: Norwegian.
Age: 16 years.
Class: Sophomore.
Height: 196 cm. ~ 6 feet and 5 inches.
Weight: 91 kg. ~ 200 lbs.
Religion: None.
Appearance:
Body: Quite a handsome fellow. His body is well-trained to put it simply. He has always been larger than most people around him. He started training different sorts of sports some years ago and his appearance have changed so that it is mostly muscle right next to the skin with little fat flapping around. This naturally means that he got very visible muscles, a healthy six pack, his chest muscles are blocks of brick. His body is covered in small scars from stupid accidents or random fights.
Despite his young age, he is capable of having an impressive beard within a week or two.
Cosmetics: He really got no favourite type of clothing, depending on his mood in the evening where he lays out the clothing for the next day. He can go from typical clothing, jeans and any random shirt and the other day he will be in clothing that would be passable at finer restaurants. How he can afford this is a mystery.
Eye Colour: Blue.
Hair Colour: Blond. Cut short.
Habits: Doing gymnastics in public places. He is quite skilled at it, capable of making dozens of different hand stands, keeping his own body up using a vertical pole.
Personality: Can sit in the corner and be completely quiet and just mind his own business one day, and the next day be a part of everything that happens during class. He’s smart and cunning. His complete lack of empathy and compassion leaves him empty inside and he fills this void with an ambition made out of steel, this lack of empathy also leaves him without any remorse. Still, he fakes empathy, remorse, joy and other basic human reactions constantly and it feels completely naturally for him.
Hobbies: Gymnastics. Basket. Diving/swimming. Yoga.
Fighting style: Street Fighting. He only ever had 3-4 months of practise with a single martial arts, and that wasn’t enough for him to use the style, yet he incorporates many of the moves he learned when training that art. Adithada, an Indian version of kickboxing/Muay Thai. It uses knee, elbow and forehead strikes as a part of its style, and so does Magnus. Being bigger than most of his opponents also makes him throw heavy strikes rather than weaker ones.
Strengths: His size and strength. His flexibility from yoga and gymnastics. His quickness from gymnastics where speed is essential for making the jumps and flips in time. He has a quick reaction speed. He’s got many years experience with fighting, despite his young age. His last and probably greatest strength lies in his low latent inhibition, to put it simply, it allows him to see about just as well in his peripheral vision as in his direct line of sight.
Weaknesses: Smaller people will have the speed advantage over him. His size will make it harder for him to evade or dodge strikes coming for him, meaning that he will almost always block them or simply take them. Sometimes in the rush of a battle, his ability to take in all that the eye perceives will confuse more than it clarifies, making him blink a lot to minimise the information on the highway to his brain.
History: Magnus was born in the northern parts of Norway, up here there is nothing, seriously, there is nothing up there but snow and snow. But Magnus spend the first 7 years of his life in these mountains and going to school at the ‘local’ school. At the end of the second grade, his parents told him that they were moving to Oslo, the capital of Norway. This was but a small stop on the way to the wide world. The reason why they started to travel was because of Magnus’ grandfather, he had finally forgiven his daughter and given a salesman job to her husband, Magnus’ father.
And then they went on out into the world. A 2 year stop in Germany allowed Magnus’ to learn the language. While in Germany he saw the first signs of violence, an evening where he had bewildered himself out of the apartment they had rented, he saw two east-Europeans beat up some bum. Because of his ability to perceive everything in sight and his photographic memory, he still have a mint condition mental film of this beating. Magnus ran home and he had changed from this day… He began to pick up what his brain had tried to block out, the violence.
After the two years were over, they went from country to country, making brief stops in different countries. Magnus found that he was 14 years old, and this year was also the first year he was in a fight, already at this age he was a tall and powerful sucker, natural strength. It was a random kid at school, who felt he wanted to pick on the foreign student, Magnus understanding nothing the guy said just looked at him blankly, at some point the kid, who was actually older than Magnus, pushed Magnus. The fight dragged out from different wrestle holds and punches that were just absorbed by Magnus. The fight first ended when Magnus used his abnormal strength to throw the ‘kid’ into a table. Later records showed that Magnus had in fact injured the kid badly and this injury would years later result in a kidney failure and death. Magnus didn’t know this, and he never got into trouble because the next day the moved on to India.
This was the longest time he spend in the same country, except Norway, this was also the place where he fought the most. He was by no means a natural fighter, and he lost some fights, won more. At some point he grew bored of the fighting that he had originally been fond of. He hadn’t lost in a long time and perhaps it was this that made him feel that he couldn’t improve. He started a multitude of things to keep the boredom at bay, swimming, gymnastics and basket. Randomly they all complimented each other. His physical appearance quickly changed from regular/sloppy to a dense muscleman. Naturally the fights after this were much easier, and gave him room to experiment with his style. (His old style had been overpower and destroy.)
Some time during his stay in India he started practising Adithada, unfortunately his training was cut short some time during his third month. His father had been given a new assignment in America this time. San Francisco to be more precise. Magnus turned up just in time to start his Sophomore year at Hircine High, having ten days off before starting there. He got to learn the local geography, go sight-seeing and track down information about the new school. It wasn’t that hard to find information. Several riots, professional guards (called ‘Watchers’), the principal had been beaten during the latest riot.
… It seemed that he might be cured for his intense boredom.
