Name: George Rollins
Nationality: American
Age: 18
Weight: 180
Height: 6'1
Appearance:
-Body: George is of average build, not entirely thrilled over the world of physicality, but cares enough to keep himself healthy.
-Cosmetic: George usually wears green, baggy, cargo pants or simply baggy jeans. On his upper body, one would find either a band t-shirt or just a plain color (e.g. no design). On top of the shirt, he always wears his favorite gray zip-up hoodie. He wears solid black shoes with the strings adjusted to slip on and off, but still tight enough to say on. I'm not sure whether this goes under cosmetics or not, but he has a full, short-trimmed beard with connected mustache. The beard is only from his jaw-line down, not his cheeks. Lastly, he wears small glasses and is often seen with an acoustic guitar.
-Eyes: George's eyes are a very dark brown, its hard to tell that they're not black even unless you're really close.
-Hair: George has long dark brown hair to match his eyes almost perfectly. He wears it back most of the time, with either one bit of bang loosed from it or two bits framing his face. His facial hair is over the same color.
Heres a picture (black and white) to give you the basic idea of what he looks like (clothes are inaccurate and no glasses):
Habits: George has a habit of getting lost in his thoughts when particularly... bored. He also bites his fingernails. He also has a habit of apologizing, whether or not he did something wrong.
Personality: George is a very kind and caring soul deep within and out. He finds it extremely difficult to hate someone, regardless of what they've done to him, which often brings him pain. He's always willing to lend a sympathetic ear, or give advice if one wishes it. He's a very optimistic person, and when set on a goal, can be one of the most determined person anyone has seen. He is a deeply intellectual and philosophical person... he could last days with someone if they bring up a deep conversation. He is a hopeless romantic to the utmost degree, believing love to be the greatest blessing upon man... which often leads to rants if one gets him on the subject.
Hobbies: George's biggest hobby is music (guitar and singing), philosophy, reading, and walking. His life is completely dedicated to music and philosophy, simply put, he would die without them. These things leak into his daily life constantly, and he wouldn't want it any other way.
Extracurricular: George is involved in the school's chorus, reflecting his passion for singing, and the academic team.
History: George was born in the Appalachian region. The place is notorious for its deep poverty, yet scenic beauty. There were few people in his hometown of Tomahawk, in fact, no neighbors for a mile or two away. Having grown up in a very small trailer with two siblings and his parents, he had very little toys and even few clothes. In fact, he only had one outfit to his name, a pair of gray sweat pants and a sweat shirt. As one might expect, this lifestyle can produce one of two things; a deep delinquency or a focus on less material things. For him, it was the second. Thus, he reveled in knowledge and philosophy for the rest of his life. Like most of the area, his family was deeply religious, promoting generosity, compassion and other virtuous traits.
His best friend's name was Kelli, her's was the next house down the road from his. They were the same age and grew up together, always laughing and playing outside. Using their imaginations due to the lack of toys. But, at the age of 7, tragedy struck. George and Kelli were playing outside, near the road, when a drunk driver struck, and killed Kelli in front of George's eyes. George was paralyzed in fear, in capable of movement until someone moved him away. This caused great sorrow in him for a long time to come, even to this day. He always believed that, had he been braver, had he done something besides just uselessly stand there, she might've still been alive to this day. This, resulted in his habit of apologizing excessively... being too poor to afford therapy to help him cope with it. With time, his family seemed to have forgotten that this happened and so, never bothered themselves with it again.
At the age of 13, his mother was diagnosed with Disassociative Identity Disorder (multiple personalities) 11, and, by the time he came to Hircine, 23. This was a result of her own traumatic experiences as a little girl. His father couldn't handle it all, and thus, they got a divorce... putting even more problems on his mother's shoulders. Even though she had so many problems, she still came up with enough money to buy George a guitar for Christmas. This started his passion for music. Divorce, a drug addicted daughter, and the extreme poverty, put his mother on the brink of destruction. She worked numerous jobs and was the spite of many ignorant people around the town, due to her disorder. Some thought she was possessed, or even retarded. She suffered quite miserably, that is, until she met her future husband and George's step-father Jeff via the internet. In time, they married, and moved here to San Francisco.
George was then 16, his mother found a great therapist to help her with her DID and was receiving numerous awards. Though George, often felt like he was living in his mother's shadow, she was more often his source of courage and optimism. He had always been a big fan of music, but due to the underdevelopment of the education system back at his old home, he couldn't get very involved. Once in San Francisco, he dived head first into it. He attended every event he could dealing with music, participated in as many activities as he could, and listened constantly.
Through all of this change... one thing remained the same... loneliness. The haunting memory of his best friend dieing lingered in his head, he was afraid to make many more... and then, none at all in San Francisco. Obviously, this also meant that he had never truly experienced what it was like to love. He yearned for it more than anything, but was always too scared to try... making him the hopeless romantic he is now. Although, his mother's triumphs in the face of her persecution and disorder... when he had nothing at all wrong... gave him his sense of duty to accomplish anything he sets his mind to.
And now we come to his present age of 18. The triumph over his poverty and his retainment of his old home's deep religious roots gave him his kindness and optimism. The opportunities for a better education and for musical development gave him is passions... and his loving mother... gave him the chance to be the wonderful person he is now.
Fighting Style: George never trained in any formal martial arts... so that and his kind demeanor, makes him avoid fighting as much as possible. But, when he does have to fight, he fights completely impromptu.
Strengths: George is speedy due to his lack of bulk, and his quick wit and sharp mind lets him improve and improvise attacks pretty well.
Weaknesses: Having no real technique, this can lead to him being open for attacks pretty often... and the lack of bulk means he can't deliver much damage or take much.
