Full Name: Kit Lee
Nickname: Kit Kat
Nationality: Chinese
Age: 18 (18 because Hong Kong to America is older by a year due to different education systems)
Year: Junior
Height: 5'7'' (Five feet seven inches)
Weight: 140 Lbs.
Body: Kit is quite skinny, his muscles are not bulky but he is very cut and has abs. His arms however, though not bulky, can support his own weight for long durations as he requires it for breakdancing. His skin is very pale white. His posture is slouched at all times. Permanent sunburn scar on the right shoulder.
Clothing: Kit wears very loose clothing, typically a white hoody, red t-shirt, adidas sneakers, and blue jeans.
Eye color: Kit has brown eyes but wears contact lenses that make his eyes look grey. He has double eyelids.
Hair: He has natural black hair, gelled so that it spikes and half of his right eye is covered with his hair.
Habits: Kit listens to his mp3 often and speaks in broken english generally. He can read and understand english a lot better than he can speak it.
Personality: Kit does not talk much as he is not extremely fluent in english. However, he does speak cantonese very well. He enjoys listening to music and always carries his mp3 player as well as his headphones which dangle from his neck when he is not listening to his music. Kit is not outgoing as he is not fluent in english (he is very talkative when another speaks in his native tongue of cantonese), but he is not antisocial either, just is never the one to try to make friends. If he has something to say though, he will say it. Kit does not enjoy standing out in the sun too long and will often look for shade if there is any. Kit enjoys reading and likes philosophy. He is a caring person and will trust anyone until they break his trust. Once they break his trust, he will never give them his trust again.
Hobbies: Reading books, breakdancing, eating (need to eat for energy).
Extracurricular: Breakdancing and Book Club.
Fighting Style: Kit's fighting style is very loose. He fights with agility as he can run fast, and attacks with break dance moves (mainly spinning on his arms where he uses his arms as legs and attacking with his feet, think Mugen from Samurai Champloo). He has been in brawls on the street when rival break dancing groups challenged his group back in Hong Kong. He was never formally trained to fight and his attacks are not powerful unless the fight has lasted a long time in which Kit will be warmed up to spin even faster. Of course, his regular kicks are strong as it is due to his abs and the necessity of breakdancing to have strong legs for fancy moves. Usually though, Kit will not fight unless absolutely necessary (protecting a friend, cornered, etc) because he can outrun his opponent.
History: Kit was born in Hong Kong (recently restored to China control from the British). He has learned enough english to conversate, but does not understand slang and idioms well. Kit hates the sunlight and staying in the sun as Hong Kong was a hot place and he had bad memories of getting sunburned from practicing outside too long. One time, he had a sunburn so bad that it left a permanent scar on his right shoulder. Kit practices breakdancing as it is a form of expression for him, for release from school, poverty, and other problems. It also requires no money to perform and helps him build strength and exercise.
His childhood was an active one that involved him going to the park on a daily basis for entertainment as the only things at home was a kitchen, bathroom, and two mattresses. His parents made just enough to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. Due to lack of material wealth, Kit would enjoy reading books at the library and had a lot of free time to just think. There was little parental control over him as his parents were always busy going to work. He has no siblings as his parents could not afford to have another child, and no relatives aside from his uncle on his father's side who he has never met. He met his best friends at the park, which he soon formed into a breakdancing crew in the park. They would practice daily and talk about life in general, occasionally having rival battles with other crews that sometimes turned into real brawls. The brawls generally ended with Kit and his crew winning due to their tight bond. Kit put all his trust in his crew and they did too as his crew would stall the fight while Kit warmed up to lay down heavy kicks and fast spins. Sometimes, Kit and his crew would have to run from the police before the fight ended and Kit has never been caught once as police could never keep up with Kit's speed even with cars as the neighborhood Kit lived in did not have much roads for police cars to enter.
Kit enjoys music as it gives him life and a rhythm for breakdancing and always carries around his mp3 and headphones. He bought it with money gathered up from odd jobs so that he could block out people talking when he found them bothersome as well as to put feeling into his daily life. He only recently moved to the U.S. and his parents sent him to Hircine High due to lack of knowledge of any other schools. His parents wanted him to get into the American education system as college is near impossible to get into in Hong Kong unless you were studious or a genius and Kit was neither. He was able to do so through money from his grandfather, who left an unexpected huge amount of inheritance money for Kit's father when his grandfather died. He was an average student at the school in Hong Kong and only keeps in contact with his breakdancing crew ever since he has moved as they were his closest friends through daily practice at the park and battling and brawls with other crews.
Strengths: Physically strong in the legs and abs from breakdancing practice and running away from police. High endurance through his many years of practice and running. Is use to physical pain and lack of strength due to brawls and excessive break dance practicing. Mentally stable (he is a rational person that uses logic) as he enjoys analyzing text he reads in books.
Weaknesses: Weak upper body as he does not see a need for training it. It is only strong enough to support himself when pulling off breakdancing moves. Is not fluent in english. Needs contacts/glasses to see the blackboard as his vision is not 20/20. Will not fight well if the battle is located where it is either extremely hot/sunny as it brings up bad memories and makes him work harder than he needs to as the ground will soak up the heat and burn his hand overtime.
Update: Kit has learned to speak a more fluent english. Though at times he would break into his broken english due to lack of time to think about what he is going to say, he is now able to convey his thoughts just as well as he can write it. This is due to the fact that everyone now speaks english and he is exposed to it everyday, in addition to cassette tapes he has borrowed to listen to on his mp3 to learn how to enunciate better.
Move set: Kit's basic breakdancing moves will be posted here after they are used to help the reader better understand.
Windmill: A move that looks like your legs are the blades of a windmill and your body is the center that holds the windmill blades together. Momentum is gained through the swinging of legs and the movement of your body in the motion your legs are spinning. Video
