At Hircine High, it wasn't unusual for Tiao Lei Shen to stand out. At Paragon Institute, it had started the same way. As the school year progressed Tiao began to divert attention away from himself, doing little within the school besides skating his way through the jokes that were the classes here. After a few beaten challengers people seemed to start leaving him alone. Aggressing an apathetic ex-pillar no longer seemed worth the injuries. Of course, things certainly took a change. All in one lunch period things changed. The Tiao who stated, and literally beaten the idea into their heads, that he wasn't interested in fighting anyone did exactly the opposite of that. Had anyone known the details they may have understood why. However, they didn't. It was a private matter, let alone the lack of confidents at Paragon. No, the rumors were that the tiger had snapped, and nothing was refraining him from lashing out at whoever was an arm's length away... They weren't far off. Tiao Lei Shen kicked the knee out from behind, bringing the target closer to his body. As the boy began to tip backwards, Tiao's left palm slammed into his forehead, digging his fingertips into his temples. Pulling him to his left side, Tiao thrust the boy down head first. The student, still concious, reached up at Tiao's hand in an effort to pry it off. Tiao's right hand went to the boy's left, pulling back the fingers quickly with a sharp crack. There was the start of another yell of pain, until Tiao slammed the student's head back down another time, knocking him unconcious. Tiao let go with his left, letting the boys head drop out of his hand and rebound off the tile once again as he slowly stood up, turning around to face the rest behind him. "No more cutting in line." Tiao stated plainly, turning back and stepping over the unconcious boy as he ragained his spot in the lunch line. Tiao had always been harsh, but even he knew he was pushing it. However, the way he saw it everyone deserved what they got in this school, probably including himself. If someone does something wrong, they should be punished. Whether you call it justice or you call it revenge, its all the same. You do something wrong and karma will balance it back out. ...and Keith Richards, karma's coming for you.

OOC(( hope you don't mind my entrance))
Damien watched as the ex-pillar broke a student easily, his eyes taking in every detail. He hadn't been there for the fight in the lunch period, though he had heard plenty to get the gist. Everyone thought the student had finally lost it. Damien thought otherwise. You don't just "lose it". Something has to break you, to turn you against the words you first spoke. While Damien wasn't much for an array of senseless violence, he was slowly becoming used to it, having had to defend his own life on more than one occasion. However, he had a plan, a goal. He wanted the title that was open, since his idea of a gang was almost shot. He didn't think Mae had any real interest, and truthfully, he himself was losing interest. The only thing these students would respect was senseless violence.
Damien would have to take the title that was under so much contention if he was to get any real say in things.
"That was a bit of an over-reaction, i would think. But i guess you know better than me." He walked forward, around the body of the boy that tiao had demolished. While it was a very possible that this fellow before him could beat him should they fight, Damien had no intention of fighting him. He was interested in the fight with Keith Richards. The boy was obviously the target of the Tigers wrath, and Damien, though normally opting to stay out of everyones business, decided to approach the one person nearly every stayed away from as of late.
"Id like a private word with you, tiao, if you would grant me." Well, that answer would be a no. Hell, with the way the boy was acting, he himself may be attacked. But, should the Former hircine pillar decide to humor him, he would make him an offer. Damien needed and wanted friends. Powerful ones. Ones that would help him achieve his goals.
And Tiao was going to help him.
Now, while such a thought would normally sound ridiculous, Damien had an idea of how to get him to it. While he, personally, had no real vendetta against Richards, he needed Tiao's help. How he was going to get it remained to be seen, but, as stated, he had an idea. The fight, he had heard, went well enough, but Tiao's victim escaped, and, from the information Tiao had released when speaking to Richards, Damien could only assume the tiger wouldn't want it to end there. No, he had some personal issue with the kid. It didn't matter to him what he did, but if he intended to get the attention of the boy currently in front of him, he would need to figure that out, and decide if it was an option for him to help the ex-pillar meet that ends.
Both for Tiao's powerful friendship, as well as the fear his name gave.

"Was it an over-reaction? Or was it a just due in this place"
Vince would walk into the picture, slowly, perhaps abit painfully. But his voice was stern, despite the small smirk for the good work on the fallen boy. He saw the necessity in Tiao's actions, the logic. Perhaps the former pillar's reasons weren't entirely in the right order, in his opinion, but Vince would be thankful for anything at this point.
"There are those left that believe in such action and if you do not, perhaps you need to join the receiving end of the blow, or transfer to the other school."
Vince could see manipulation abound in this one. He didn't just want to talk, he didn't want protection. He wanted a deal that would favor him. He was ambitious.
Arrogant.
The word would flash through Vince's mind in a moment, a deep voice with a foreign tint to it resonating behind it. A powerful voice, one that held great meaning to the Mouth of Genaht.

Tiao sharply turned his head over his left shoulder, glaring at the source of the incoming voice. Tiao instincitvely flexed his fingers, ready to strike the moment this one thought about it. The high-strung Tiao was sure the moment would come soon, because why else would someone here want to talk to him? Instead, the boy asked for conference with the former pillar.
Snickering, Tiao slipped his hands in his pockets, saying "Go away," before turning his head back in front of him.
The boy didn't say anything immediately back to him, probably unsure how to procede. All for the better, to Tiao. He'd rather not strike someone that did nothing wrong, but he had no intention of making friends either. For a moment, Tiao thought he would be left alone with his thoughts. It was not meant to be though, as a familiar voice trailed its way over towards the lunch line: Vince, the Mouth of Genaht.
Tiao let the Vince tell the boy off, feeling like Vince was attempting to side with him in some twisted argument. Although Tiao was familiar with Vince, he held no more care for the Genaht soldier than he did for the stranger behind him. Regardless, Tiao waited til Vince was done speaking before speaking up himself, convinced he wasn't going to be left alone anytime soon.
"Everyone has a beating coming to them. Are both of you looking to get yours over with now?"

Damien shrugged, then continued standing where he was.
"No. I'm hungry too."
Simple, no? Well, probably not for tiao, since he was in an overly aggressive mood and would probably attack him to make a point. Damien didn't really care at that moment. He would have this mans attention whether he had to piss him off to get it or whether he got it just by speaking to him. He looked over at the new approaching male. This was now the second time he had been speaking to someone when he was interrupted, so he gave a simple reply.
"Is that a fact? And are you going to be the one to help me receive such a blow? God, i hope so. I could really use the exercise." Damien wasn't arrogant, nor was he speaking in a mocking tone. He spoke as though bored, like this newcomer wasn't worth his time. He watch both him and the loose cannon that was the tiger, ready for anything should either one of them go on the assault. The newcomer could be wrecked, easily, while Tiao would be more of a problem. He was confident to the point that if he were assaulted by Tiao he wasn't sure who would win, where as if the other boy attacked Damien would be the obvious victor. He had to watch them both, though, because if they both attacked him...well, that would be a serious problem.
He placed his hands in his pockets and spoke to Tiao again.
He ignored Tiao's offer to give them both a beating.
"So, Tiao. 'The tiger'. Ex pillar- Why so angry?" He spoke with a small grin, as though he knew, though in fact, he didn't. He wanted Tiao to take more notice of him and his offer of a chat, and if he had to attack him to do so...
Well, then, he would.
Quite simple, no?

"From lets have a chat, to hey punch me because I'm obviously a fool, at the speed of light. I think politicians could take lessons about changing positions from you."
Vince would give a small laugh. The boy wasn't there in the head if he couldn't keep his own intentions straight. Maybe he didn't even know if he wanted to bargain or not, maybe the other guy was here for a fight to begin with and simply didn't like his odds anymore.
"We're all made to fall, Tiao. Not all of us go around asking for it with no good reason though."
The last sentence was a jab at the other boy, the pointless antagonizing at a man that clearly didn't need it was without reason. If he wanted a fight all he had to have done was said yes.
Vince would lean, right stretching his left leg. He could feel it was abit sore, but it would have to serve. It seemed there was a fight coming and he'd condemn himself if he didn't atleast make sure the arrogant was properly fallen and shown his actions inappropriate.

Keeping his gaze over his shoulder, Tiao finally turned all the way around to form a forward facing triangle with the other two students. He kept his head centered, though his eyes were noticeably facing Damien. At Damien's response, Tiao snickered, rolling his eyes as he gave a slight shake of his head. Immediately following the gestures, Tiao left leg would shoot forward in a slide as his right hand launched out.
With Damien's hands in his pockets, there would be no defense as Tiao's right hand would clamp on the throat and give a slight twist, forming the impressively powerful tiger grip. Unlikely that Damien would have been able to stop Tiao's speed had he even seen it coming, the cramped positioning in the lunch line would also make it unlikely for a backwards escape, especially with Tiao lunging for him.
"Are you foolish enough to try and find out?" Tiao's eyes glared up at the taller boy, momentarily cutting off the air.
Vince made his own reply as well, giving his usual finesse on words that could only be expected from another such as Leon Loire. Tiao glanced over his left shoulder, bringing his left hand to Damien's lapel. Pivoting on his left foot, Tiao would swing Damien towards Vince, where the two would collide if neither did anything to avoid the collision course.
"I don't like making conversation. Are we finished?" Tiao hissed, tightening his right hand in front of him into a claw that cracked the fingers, waiting to pounce depending on who argued with him first.

Damien looked from Tiao, to the other boy, then back to taio. One thing he loved- being highly underestimated. His hands were in his pockets and he knew it could be seen as a weakness to some. While the tiger decided that he would attack Damien, He obviously didn't count on one thing- a counterattack. The boy was strong and fast, but Damien had reflexes like a cat. As soon as the boy lunged forward, Damien moved his head to the right, stepping with his right foot as he did so. The hand would pass over his left shoulder, and taios lunge would send his forward just a bit more, especially since he counted on Damien's neck being in his grasp.
Damien slammed his head forward in a sharp and painful head-butt to The pillars chin, either around the mouth or right at the tip of the chin where his knockout point could be used. He had been staying under the radar up until now, but it was obviously about to change. The students gathered around immediately moved away, laughing at the presumed beating the kid who attacked the pillar was about to take. His hands were out of his pockets now, having been pulled out as soon as the head-butt was thrown. Whether it landed or missed, Damien would use that forward momentum to duck and roll to his right, clear of the arms and legs of the Pillar who attacked him.
Damien would come to his feet, ready as ever.
"Come now, Taio, is it really me you want to beat on? Or are you just siding with the mind manipulating fuck behind you. or maybe-" He grinned "Maybe you want neither of us? Am i right, my easily angered friend?"
He was treading on dangerous ground.
He lived for situations like this.
One way or another, Taio.
His way, or no way.
Damien prepared for the battle to come.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind me breaking post order, Eric. I assume you want me to react first. If not, feel free to interrupt whenever you choose.)
Damien may have had reflexes like a cat, but what was a simple cat next to a tiger? They say curiosity killed the cat, but today it would be proven foolishness would kill the cat quite painfully.
Regardless of any reflexes, having your hands in your pockets was always a disadvantage when matched against free hands. Tiao's lunge would not be overshot, as the ex-pillar never over-commited to an attack simply because of the nature of kung fu's short extensions. Because of this, Tiao's hand would indeed pass by Damien's shoulder, but not over extending his own step lunge.
When Damien would attempt his headbutt, it would do no more than assist Tiao, by bringing his head closer to him. Moving in sync with his new target, Tiao would pivot 45 degrees counterclockwise on his left foot, turning inwards towards Damien though not fully facing him. As his hand was originally going to do once it grasped the throat, Tiao's right tiger claw twisted clockwise. Snapping at the elbow and shoulder just a few inches would snap the edge of his palm towards Damien's incoming head, striking him square in the nose.
If Damien would still attempt the roll, Tiao would simply palm the back of his head to make him face plant into the floor. If Damien was smart enough to back off and avoid an immediate follow up, Tiao would state the intended lines, throwing a sideways glance at Vince as he did so.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind me breaking post order, Eric. I assume you want me to react first. If not, feel free to interrupt whenever you choose.) OOC: Indeed, my apologies as well Oh yes, the former pillar was good, no doubt about it. But his motions had to carry time, since nobodies reflexes were fast enough to transcend the time it took for his head to move and Tiaos body to move. There would always be that gap of reaction time. Tiaos movements wouldn't be lost on Damien, the motion of his body tipping him off that something was amiss, not to mention the way the eyes moved and responded to Damien's head careening toward them. Damien's forward motion turned to downward motion, and he, instead of remaining in place while the Tiger most likely retaliated with the swift power of his upper body, Damien bent himself down at the knees, just enough for the hand aiming for his face to pass clean over his head. As the forward motion was suddenly re-routed downward, Damien wouldn't be able to move effectively without using both motions to their fullest. So, since Tiao was now in front of him, Damien pushed off, using the strength of his legs to come up underneath the attacking arm, using his hands (which were unpocketed while he had thrown the head-butt) to get a hold of the tiger and pick him up, slamming him to the ground. His Left arm would hook Tiaos right leg and lift, and his right hand would be placed at his abdominal to both balance and help lift the fighting fellow. Damien was hoping that the tiger wasn't able to attack, counterattack, then counterattack again all within the same instant, because if he was, things could go wrong. An all out fight with the aggressive Tiao wasn't what he wanted at all, or expected, but he figured it was going to happen at some point. His thoughts weren't on talking anymore, but instead on beating this Fallen leader. If not to prove it to himself, than to prove it to all those watching. He was not to be underestimated.

Vince wasn't idle during the quick fight. He would be moving, quickly and harshly on his injured leg. Moving around behind Damien. While Tiao was certainly dangerous, the ex pillar had also done Vince a service by beating the rule violator. He was owed something, and those Owed deserved reward.
When Damien knelt down and began to grapple Tiao, Vince would strike in. Leaping off his bad leg to kick Damien in the back of his. With the way he was lifting Tiao it would likely cause him to fall backwards, with the former Pillar landing on top of his foe. A bad position to begin with for the arrogant student, and worse when he wouldn't be expecting it.
Vince knew Tiao would be able to handle it from there, the Tiger had been in many fights and knew enough to take advantage when he had it. That and it would be likely Tiao would see the attack coming before Damien did. Giving him time to prepare.
"Arrogance punished, those Owed repayed...."

After seeing what Tiao did to a student for cutting in line, Damien could only imagine what would be in store for him. There were only so many ways the body could move once it was in motion. Damien had turned, shot forward, and shot down. Tiao had shot forward and turned. Now, he would shoot down, as well.
With Damien throwing himself into another last ditch effort at a dodge, Tiao continued his already pivoting motion, turning from 45 degrees to a complete 90. Sliding his right leg to the back, Tiao's right hand wound finish its twist, snapping into place as his arm extended across his body into a full blown palm strike. Using the strong base the legs provided in the Tiger style, Tiao would gain impressive power from his hips as the heel of his palm would smack into the center of Damien's forehead, striking in and down due to their angling.
While Damien had a longer reach than Tiao, his arms would have to move much farther than Tiao's since his hands were at his side, while Tiao's was already half extended. Therefore, Tiao would strike Damien halfway through his attempted grapple, pushing him down and back before Damien's hands were in reach, let alone reaching for the leg Tiao placed behind him. Unbeknowest to Tiao, Vince had moved in behind his target and struck him in his balanced leg. The end result would be much like the old "kneel behind someone and have someone else push" trick...only much, much more painful.
