Kyousuke lazily put his hands up in front of him, frowning, as the student in front of him was confronting him so forcefully. He had no idea who it was, and it was already annoying, but so far other than a few instances he hadn't made much of a reputation for himself. "So, why is it your yelling at me again? I'm having a hard time understanding you." He was half mocking the situation, he could understand. But the student slurred enough to sound drink. "Y'ur th' reason t'at my b'other is'n Juvie you Asian shet!" Kyousuke's right hand twitched a bit, wanting to form a fist. This bastard had to be kidding, it was no more clear than the first time.
Kyousuke sighed as he felt two others grab his arms from behind and jerked them straight to the side. He was obviously at more than a bit of a disadvantage. "You say that like it's my fault he attacked me with an illegal weapon." He hissed at them, pulling his arms closer to his body a few more inches, and then felt them go taught again. It was starting to get on his nerves, he shouldn't have to show the kind of thought he was about too to get out of this. "T'er. Keep'm still." The drunk student muttered as he stumbled forward and wound up a wide hay-maker.
"There's my chance. Too bad you idiots are holding my arms tighter because of my resistance." Kyousuke looked neutral still, and this made the drunk more confident. A mistake, he'd exploit it. When the punch was thrown Kyousuke shifted his weight back, down, and then up. Successfully this would make their muscles tense, and when he went up he would be temporarily suspended in the air. Long enough to send an uncharacteristic kick to the drunks face. He would then lower his weight sharply, and bend his legs, and then launch himself back away from the two that had been holding his arms. "... I really don't like you people." Kyousuke muttered as the watched the both of them get pulled off balance after their grips were broken.

Ein had witnessed the small group following the student. He had a good idea what the plan was, especially with the rank smell of cheap alcohol. The drunk conduct on school grounds was enough for Ein to bring one in, but fighting all three would prove more fruitful.
Bringing the one in would only piss the other two off. Bringing them all down would give them all fear.
Ein didn't bother speaking, the fight was already underway as the student pushed out of the grip of the pair of thugs that were holding him. Ein would take the opportunity and rush forwards at one of the off balanced fools. The heavy thuds of his boots on asphault quickly alerting all to his prescence.
A little two late for one thug, who turned around just in time to catch Ein's shoulder with his gut. Ein's back would torque, lifting the opponent skywards before diving straight down into the ground. Ein's body weight would keep the thug from getting up again anytime soon, while he scraped along on the rough asphault.
Ein would stand as quickly as possible, turning his eyes to the other two assailents before speaking. He doubted they would heed his warning, few did, but he knew it was required.
"This is your opprotunity. You can leave now before you end like this one."

OOC: ... I can't be arsed to edit for you just now Antonio. And I'll need you to completely revamp your post or remove it. There is no two other people. This is a continued conflict, as you can see if you read the " Evening Of The Fake Smile" then you'd realize there is only four. And the 'brother' is in juvenile hall, so that makes three. Sorry for the confusion and all.. but yeah. Kyousuke's head turned abruptly to the side, his eyes locking onto the sound of a charging students heavy boots. He didn't have the time to place a name too as annoyance flooded into him. He knew he couldn't take three on that easily without causing problems for himself or being injured, even if the fourth one was drunk and now unconscious. But to Kyousuke's surprise the student didn't go for him, he was headed straight at the two who had been holding his arms and at full speed slammed his shoulder into one of their guts. The drunk, probably too stupid to realize the force of the blow he took, pushed himself up a few seconds before Ein did and moved himself over to his buddies side. The one that had been dropped to the asphalt wouldn't be getting up from such a heavy blow, but that didn't mean the other two were going to give up. It was when Ein spoke that Kyousuke caught the obvious undertone of authority in the threat that he began to suspect this was the Varron pillar he had heard whispers about a good while back. Either that or just another idiot throwing themselves into the fray for the sake of heroism. Hopefully the latter, because he couldn't stomach thanking the first. Either way he'd be curious how he dealt with the two, who seemed quite content to let this become a physical situation still. Despite the fact one was drunk, and the other one was pretty rattled to have seen the charging man smash himself into his friends gut. "I don't suppose you want help." Kyousuke cleared his throat before he spoke this, wondering if the one who attacked him first was drunk enough to think he was offering to help him.

Ein's eyes would settle on the drunk man. He was far to gone to realize his odds, let alone realize that the ground wasn't really moving right now. Still, he had glimpsed the other enough to know that he was slightly shaken. Ein half smirked, he always enjoyed knowing his efforts had an effect.
"I'll leave you to your drunk friend, I'd imagine he needs the help."
Ein would speak steadily as he walked towards the other thug. Watching his body and admiring that he was still holding fast, despite the clear show of fear towards his opponent. Perhaps this one didn't need to be harmed. Atleast not in a physical manner.

Kyousuke looked over to the suspected Varron pillar with a bit of amusement of his own. It was a bit different to have an ally fighting on his side that didn't instantly anger him further. In fact, he may very well have been the first. Even Odin didn't count thanks to the fact they had never fought side by side, although Kyousuke suspected he wouldn't be annoyed by that either.
"Okagesamade." (Thanks to you.) He spoke aloud as he walked forward, beside the suspected pillar, then stepped to the left and in front of the drunk. "So you know, these idiots are persistent." Kyousuke slid his left foot forward, hooked behind the drunks leg as he stepped forward to attack in a classical hay-maker once more, and then thrust his hand up in an open palm to catch the drunk in the chin hard.
If nothing else he wouldn't be standing up for a few minutes. His legs wouldn't react the way he would. He was too drunk to regain his balance, let alone stave off a jaw shot. The drunk tripped back, stumbled once in an attempt to catch his balance, and unintentionally back peddled into a car. Hard enough that when his movement jerked to a stop his head made a satisfying thud against the flimsy car door.

Ein would keep his eyes on his opponent, even as his opponent payed attention to his drunk friend being beaten. The Varronite student would move closer to his foe, with careful even steps. He didn't want to startle his opponent. Indeed, he was less than a foot away when the drunk fell.
"You're such a good friend, pertified with fear as your buddy gets beaten."
Ein knew the response he would get, and the boy turned to him, his face controting with a certain amount of hatred. Ein's face would remain neutral, carved of stone with no telling of what he thought.
"Sure, you didn't have a chance, but you could have tried. You didn't even do that. He might not know you didn't try, but I do and more importantly you do."
This time the boy didn't just look angry, he swung at the pillar. A hook punch, sent straight for the taller man's cheek. Ein took the punch, taking a step off to the side. The boy getting reading for another swing, when Ein's body lurched into motion. The pillar's body rose and twisted, his left arm swinging upwards in a vicious uppercut that sent the other boy off his feet and to the ground in short order.
"And that is why you didn't do anything."

Kyousuke, content that the drunk wouldn't be getting up, turned his attention over to the other one to be sure he didn't leave himself open on his right flank. But instead saw that the other one had been looking at him, and his drunk friends, quite shaken. Kyousuke smirked a bit at this, straightening his back and placing his hands in his green pullovers pockets on his stomach as he watched on, listening with increasing amusement as the suspected pillar played a very fun mind game on the one who had been holding his left arm.
The attention turned off Kyousuke, and that was when he took a step back and leaned against the hood of a car. Whoever it was, pillar or not, Kyousuke liked him. Not only did his instincts not flare in annoyance of his presence, but he was intelligent. From the looks of it he had a good bit of guts in him too, which was decided as the provocation worked and he took a punch to his cheek, only to send a even more vicious uppercut that lifted the provoked fool from his feet and then kept him on the ground.
"I have admit, I am impressed." Kyousuke moved to the left, grabbed the drunk by the shoulder and began to pull him off the ground, and dropped him heavily on his left shoulder. He would then walk over to the two that had been downed near the original position where it all started. "But I must confess that I can't decide if I should voice gratitude to you." Kyousuke looked over, and up, to the taller man and let a faint hint of curiosity pass over his facial features.
"It would depend on an answer from you. Are you someone with thoughts of heroism in your head? Or are you in a position of authority?" He wanted to be more direct, straight out ask him if he was the Varron appointed pillar. But if he was wrong he'd have to hit himself for thinking an idiot with ideas of heroism could be a pillar. It would not only make him look falsely foolish, but would make him feel idiotic as well.

"Heroism is relative to the situation, reguardless, I fit into the latter of your two groups."
Ein was watching the man with a certain amount of intruige. He was definately showing abit of individualism. Not so much in his appearance, but in his questions and obvious thought. Ein almost thought he wanted to make his guess more specific, but it was hard to tell. The other student was measuring himself, making sure not to play the fool.
"Still, I don't require any gratitude. It is what I accepted as a duty."
Ein would look down at the fallen fools and begin dragging them to the nurse. It was a requirement for all those he fell, a certain measure of mercy. Perhaps then the idiots could learn.

Kyousuke continued to look up at Ein to gauge his reaction to his questions. Both expression and words. He needed to be sure of himself. And the words he spoke were what he was hoping to hear, surprisingly enough. "So your the Varron pillar, you seem quite different than the others though. Perhaps it was a political move after all." From the feel he got from Ein was making him wonder of his interest went both ways. "Duty? That's for the better."
"I wouldn't have been able to stomach giving you gratitude for simple heroism. Required or not, I appreciate the aid. It was not a fight of my choosing." A hidden message, or perhaps just an attempt to see if the other understood his words. That if it was a fight he actually wanted he wouldn't be thanking him for interfering. Although that could insult some people, he didn't think that it would make much difference if he worded it in that way.
While they walked, Ein dragging the other two, the one Kyousuke had knocked out began to bleed. Blood was sipping through his lips and dripping over his green sweatshirt. It took a few moments for him to feel the warm fluid on his chest before he made any specific notice. "Kch, I hope he didn't bite off the tip of his tongue." Kyousuke grumbled as he shifted a hand into his pullover and removed some of the wrapping. He tore off a small amount and stuffed it into the boys mouth a bit, to keep the bleeding down until he got to the nurse.
Kyousuke's eyes turned then, looked to the side where Ein was dragging the other two. But something caught his eye specifically. The armband. He had seen one nearly identical on the other shoulder, he hadn't realized there was two of them until that moment. "Armbands.. Why do you wear two? Don't you find them restrictive?" He asked as they were just moving inside the school, the skidding of the attackers shoes starting to grate on his nerves already.

"They are a sign of Genaht. I wear two for practicality purposes more than anything else."
Ein would let that little bit of information sink in, it was likely the other student had caught on to who he was at this point and that last tidbit would most certainly confirm it. The thoughts wandering through Ein's mind now was how much this peer could be trusted. With Stern's recent riot, it was hard to tell how radical people's minds had become.
"More often than not I give one away to a new member. It's convient to simply wear two if there is such a case."
It wasn't long before they had dragged the three boys to the nurse's office. The nurse herself gave a knowing, if slightly begruding look at Ein and his accomplice, but didn't say anything to them. She had long since learned that Ein would only give the same or similar responses for those he had beaten, there was no reason to ask anymore.
After pulling each boy into a cot he would turn and leave quietly, waiting for Kyosuke. He would wait until the nurse's door was closed before speaking once more.
"How well do you think this system works?"

Kyousuke raised a brow a bit as he heard Ein's answer. With the way he saw it, he was meaning to say that it was a symbol. A representation of something. But he wouldn't venture a guess as to what. Mostly because his first thought was that he was in a gang. And as a pillar, that seemed off place at best. But neither would he put the thought aside completely, as this one was the Varron Pillar. "I can see the convenience. It leaves me curious as to whom you recruit, and why."
Kyousuke would then become quite, along with Ein, as they stood in front of the nurses office and then within it. The nurse was well aware of the situation, as many cases in recent months she must feel like she was working in a hospital again. After helping the nurse get his paitent into a cot, and telling her that he suspected he bit his tongue or inside of his mouth, he walked out of the nurses station. Stopping in the hall when he realized Ein was there waiting for him.
Seeing him not respond quite yet he nodded, and turned his head enough to see the door handle and close it, before looking back up at him. The question he was posed made him frown thoughtfully. On the one hand, if he was a Pillar, he was from Varron and would understand his misgivings as well as his praise. But on the other he could merely be using it for some sort of record. The idea seemed ridiculous after a moment. He had already put himself in a position where he was becoming slightly known to fighters already. No point holding out. At least not too much.
"I've been here for nearly two years. But I've seen only two systems of American schools. Hircine, and Varron. This is the more effective of the two." He'd be a bit slow to show position his thoughts. Giving a small praise where it was due, as teachers were safer and a fair amount of students actually did their work in class. "Anything deeper than that would need a more specific question. My position seems a bit more delicate than yours, so I'm sure you understand."

"You're rather smart for keeping the answer away from either side. You are indeed in a more delicate position. A wrong word to me and perhaps the Pillars will start to despise you, then again, simply speaking to me at length may have you fall out of favor with others."
Ein would smirk slightly, admiring his fellow student's thought pattern at this moment. It was rather similiar to an answer Ein himself would have given in a similiar position. Then again, he would have likely been much less delicate, he had a poor taste with being delicate. Ein would nod once before speaking again.
"Lets be more direct then, do you have any interest with falling in with one side or the other?"
Ein rather expected another neutral statement on this one, it would be the wise move when you weren't sure what the question is truely getting at. Then again, if his opponent in this minor battle of wits came back with the proper question, Ein might be more impressed. Still, Ein didn't know all possible outcomes and there are certainly more that could sway him either way.

Kyousuke nodded politely to the compliment. And then grinned back to the smirk shown to him. This one was more intuitive than he would have guessed a pillar from Varron would be.
"True enough. But from the looks of it, from an outsiders point of view, you would be questioning me about the three in there after ordering me to help you bring them to the nurses station. Besides, public opinion never held much merit in my mind."
Kyousuke would then carefully cross his arms over his chest, taking a more thoughtful look once more, staring at Ein through his dark shaded eyes. He had hoped, half-hoped, that Ein would present a question that didn't have a tightrope to stand on. One side, or neither, would have a safe landing. While the other would have knives waiting for him.
"It would depend on my role, and the intentions of that side. Which would pose this question in my mind: what are your intentions?"

Ein grinned, it was certainly a good answer. It was becoming more and more likely that the other student was seeing what Ein was getting at. Now he was trying to get information, it was a good play. To make a decision with no information would be foolish, as well as dangerous. Ein would nod with a sense of approval.
"To bring some semblance of order to this place. The Pillarship claims that it existed prior to the Varronites, I should like restore that, or create it if it never was."
Ein thought about the words and knew he had been too lax as of late, perhaps the entire time he was instated. The Pillarship itself hadn't done enough, but such things would soon be rectified. There was enough of this, things had to change.
"Soon, if things go as I wish."

Kyousuke nodded his approval of the answer he had gained. From what he had taken note of in his time in Hircine it was fairly ordered with the Pillarsihp system in place. The only problem at this point would be the fact that the Pillar system had taken quite allot of flack from several trains of thought. The most notable would be the riot, and before that the end of Kurtz.
"I find that a worthy cause. It would be good to get some of these students to remember that they are in a school. But is that your only goal?"
Kyousuke smiled a bit, placing his hands in the pockets of his green pull over, the blood already dried on it. "He has two, one for himself, one for a recruit. If his mindset matches up well enough I may be wearing one."

"It is the current one in the least."
Ein would think momentarily, trying to find any other possible messages in the other man's question. He was no fool and fully capable of asking multiple questions within the one. Mentally Ein was truely enjoying this. It wasn't often enough he could engage his mind outside of Genaht and those that he could were sought after for Recruitment reguardless.
"I suppose we both know what the question is at this point. We understand each other, we think and we are bound as much by our minds as anything else. If you'd find it suitable, Genaht is open to you."
The Pillar felt no more need to be indirect, his preferred bluntness coming out. He needed men like this one, if he wished to push the ignorant from this place.

Kyousuke nodded slowly to the taller Pillar. A faint hint of amusement crossing his features he responded with a final question. "Yes, we understand each other. But there is a rudimentary question that I would need to have an answer to before I can give one."
He moved forward a step, putting them within arms distance, his head not titled back to look up but merely his eyes looking up. The Pillar was an intimidating figure. But there was the fact there was a lot of the Pillars mind that would remain a mystery for some time. But there was still the one question.
"What would my official, or unofficial as the case my be, be titled and the duties that go along with said title."
|
|
|
Post by Gilsin on Jul 30, 2007 1:01:46 GMT 1
"You would be of Genaht, simply. I've little use for titles, simply varying degrees of thought and trust. Your duties would be simple, stopping the Ignorant and Arrogant, bringing some order to the school. Undoubtedly a large amount of the problem is Varronites, but the Hircine are easily gaining power as well."
Ein's right hand would move to his left arm, long finger's beginning to manipulate the buckle that held the armband on. It was something he had practice at, but was still somewhat time consuming.
"The school they are from doesn't matter. Ignorance doesn't know any one group and all are fallen from time to time. We will instill order as required and as harshly as required."
The armband would be removed at this point. Still relatively new, perhaps only on Ein's arm for a few months. The one on his right arm however, was showing signs of wear and was almost certainly the first one worn. The newer one would be held out.
"If you wish to be a part of it, this is yours. If not, I find no fault in you."

Kyousuke listened carefully to his words, it was not at the point where there was no hidden meanings behind them. This was the time for being straightforward. And Ein executed that very well. And his point that both school factions were the problem was a welcomed factor.
His eyes would drift to the Pillars shoulder as he unclasped one of the arm bands, only to hold it out to him after a moment. "Kyousuke Kinyue Nijo. A pleasure to meat you, Varron Pillar." He reached out, taking the armband, and strapped it above his bicep. "I'll modify it. It feels too restrictive there."
"I'd prefer to be referred too as Kyo or Nijo." He then dropped his hand to his side, feeling that he was for the first time in a position that he could have a say in how to change things around him. And that he had found a group similarly minded in the process. A good afternoon, despite how it started. "Are there any specifics I need to know?"
