“Ed Darling get my bag I don’t want to be late. We do pride ourselves on being punctual.”
The sweet voice rang out from the back seat of the car as a rather large male exited and moved to the trunk that was popped open. Grabbing a small pink bag Ed grunted before moving towards the closed door. His large hand seemed to have no trouble in swinging it open.
From within a small form emerged. She whipped her Blonde hair to the side in one fluid motion before taking a pair of sunglasses and placing them onto her small nose. It may be considered winter but California still has sunshine.
As she looked at the building in front of her, her brilliant blue eyes couldn’t help but show her disappointment.
“Well this is lacking amusement already.”
She snarled snootily as she walked towards the entrance. Why her mother of all days decided to put her into this dump was beyond her.
“This is a learning experience Dorothea. You will take the path I have.”
Her voice imitated her mother as she spoke, the heels of her designer boots clicking on the pavement with each step. What her mother said was law. Even she would never defy her own mother.
“I at least have to give an attempted to show that I am being a good girl. Lets see what this shacks got to offer.”
Ed grunted as he followed the blonde through the doors, the pink bag still in his giant hands. Dorothea didn’t bother to look back, she knew Ed would follow. She watched as students bustled through the hallways, some grouped together talking loudly for private conversations. Her blue eyes scanned the schools interior. It looked as if an old man was assigned to do the interior decorating. It bored Dorothea so instead of standing still she began to walk. Her mother gave her a run down of the building upon her leaving so she wasn’t totally clueless. The first thing she was going to do was to find the office to get her new class schedule.
It was humorous to her as members of the opposite sex took second looks as she strolled down the hallway. She would only grin as she walked easily in her skinny jeans that were flush on her skin, her sweater dress hugging her curves.
It wasn’t long before someone would run into her in the crowded hallways. A boy, barely old enough to be in highschool came rushing into her. Plowing his shoulder into hers without paying attention and instead of addressing what he did he tried to scurry off which led Ed to take a hold of him by his shirt, stopping him in his tracks. Dorothea sad nothing, rubbing her shoulder with a dissatisfied look upon her face. The brute easily lifted the small kid off the floor, the pink bag’s straps still within his hands. The students feet dangled as Dorothea turned and faced them. She was not happy that the kid didn’t have any manners. Specially since he didn’t bother to notice that she was in his pathway.
Ed grunted as he lifted the kid higher making the kid squeal as if in agony, furiously trying to kick his feet as if it were going to help him get away from the big guy who had him pinned in the air. By now all attention was focused on the three. It wasn’t hard since the boy screamed as if he was being murdered.
How pathetic Dorothea thought to herself as she looked up towards the kid in Ed’s massive hands.
“Now what do you say?”
The kid whimpered sorry over and over, a look of plea on his face as if he was waiting for execution. Dorothea was amused.
“Ok. Let him go, we have much to attend to then to waste such precious time on someone so useless.”
Ed sneered in dislike but obeyed, instantly letting the kid go watching as he dropped to the floor like a sack of potatoes. As the kid scatted to his feet he bolted in the opposite direction seemingly fearing for his life. Ed seemed to smirk along side Dorothea before proceeding to find the office.

“I’m here to get our class schedule as well as my locker.”
Dorothea said sweetly towards the old bag who sat behind the desk. She would rather have been talking to the pretty one on the opposite side but who was occupied on the phone. The secretary asked for her name and she answered promptly and completely her full name.
“Dorothea Elizabeth Rich the Third”
It seemed to flow from her lips so easily. Not caring that she only needed the last name. So a few keystrokes, the slide of the printer later and Dorothea was handed her class schedule. Looking back at the old bag she notice her looking towards Ed.
“He’s with me. Edward Rich.”
Before long both had their schedule in hand, which due to her mothers influences where exactly the same. Her mother expressed her concerns about the past record of the school and insisted Edward be placed in the same classes to keep on eye on her only daughter. That was fine with Dorothea.
Walking out of the office both Dorothea and Ed made their way down the hallway. The beginning seemed so easily done and left questions on what was laid before them. Dorothea was sure that she would keep things amusing but only time will tell.
