((OOC: Awesome entry, Bear!))
Zeke saw the Watcher get up, and suddenly, immediately afterward, somebody tackled him, and started fighting him. It was then that he realized that 3 more Watchers walked out of the school and started running towards the gates, where they were fighting. The Watcher must have called them with a radio or something.
In any case, Zeke realized that clearly Bear knew this, and was just buying them time to escape. Dante also saw them, but didn't look like he was particularly keen on leaving.
"You guys get out of here." Said Dante. "I'm the one they want."
"Why can't you just run away WITH us?" asked Zeke.
"If I run too, they'll keep following us. I'm their prime target. If they have me, and you're long gone, they won't chase you. NOW GO! HURRY!"
Zeke extended his hand to Kayar, to help him up. He was still on the ground from being stomped on.

Ooc: Well... that was fast. I suppose the report you got back from the admin was to run. Like I said in that pm though, Kayar is going to be reluctant... I'll get him out of there anyway though.
Kayar took Zeke's hand and got up. Second time that had happened in 2 minutes. Once on his feet, he surveyed the scene. Three more? He had to call in backup for us? He watched the men run towards them, but didn't move. He had a grudge with these guys, and it would remain... but he knew at that moment that he couldn't do anything about them. At least not without help, and a plan. He would fight them another day...
"Come on, let's go." That being said, Kayar turned and ran for the gates.

Bear quickly altered his position so he was pinning the arms of the watcher with his knees. He then preceded to beat the shit out of the watchers face with his huge ass hands. He pounded away at the wacthers head until he stopped moving.
He looked over his shoulder.Three more.Fuck. "RUN!" Bear yelled at the three other boys"i`ll hold them off!" Bear stood and gave a lose fighting stance. He knew he didn`t stand much of a chance, but he had to give the boys a leasta little one.

Zeke reluctantly listened to both Dante and the newcomer, and ran out of the gates with Kayar. Both being on the track team, they were very fast. But he knew speed wasn't enough. The Watchers would be surrounding them any moment now. They had to get out quickly. His thoughts proved correct, as just as they went through the school gates, two watchers turned around each corner, to the left and the right.
SEVEN MORE?! We could barely survive 1 when there were three of us. Now they've sent in 7 more?!
Zeke's already firm belief in the injustice of the Watchers was strengthened tenfold. Any subatomic speck of doubt that remained was obliterated. The Watchers had to fall, and soon.
But to do that, it meant retreating.
He promised himself he would never run away when people were in danger...
But he ALSO promised Sara that he wouldn't die.
And so he had to break his self-promise, because the promise somebody makes to one of their few true friends is limitless in importance.
Because of the Watchers approaching them from either side, he had no choice but to run across the street. Luckily, no cars were coming, because he wouldn't have seen them if they were.
While they were safe for the moment, the moment only lasted about 5 seconds. The Watchers followed them, splitting up, trying to surround them. Of course, that meant they had to go faster than him to get in front.
No way. If there's any physical quality of mine that has any worth, it's my legs. I am NOT about to be outrun by a faceless bitch to the system.

Ooc: I would suggest that this part be told in the "streets" section, or even in the "apartments" section. Reasons for this include: 1. They ARE going into the streets. 2. It's obvious Zeke and Kayar will have some talking to do. Kayar, also, IF he knew of Revelation, would probably like to join. I know Seth has to be contacted, but at least Zeke can introduce Kayar to the idea of joining revelation. Aside from this Kayar will want to know Zeke's reasons for fighting a Watcher and vice versa. The street part of this could just be finished in this thread. Then they could go to either Kayar or Zeke's apartment. I don't particularly care which. I don't know what Bear's plans are either.
Ic:
Kayar ran with Zeke out the school gates and into the streets of the city.
More... you've got to be kidding me.
This really wasn't looking good. When there was an opening, he and Zeke crossed the road, but the Watchers followed close behind. Too close for comfort. They had to get out of there, fast. During his runs Kayar had checked out a couple side-streets in the city, and knew the area fairly well. He knew it well enough to know how to get back to his and Harry's apartment. But was that outside of Watcher jurisdiction? Was anywhere outside of Watcher jurisdiction? They'd have to find out...
"Follow me."
He took an alleyway off left, hoping to throw the men off. It also conviniently headed in the direction of his apartment. Hopefully they would make it there...

((OOC: Probably your apartment, since Zeke stays at the school dorms. Bad idea to go there. Yeah, we should probably continue the thread there, once we escape. However, Bear and Dante are still at the school, so I still want to cover what happens there.))
ZEKE'S VIEWPOINT
Zeke followed Kayar's lead down the alleyway, but still kept sprinting, knowing full well that the Watchers were no idiots. They would know where they went.
"I'm assuming you know where we're headed, because I don't." Said Zeke. He continued: "But wherever we're going, we have to get there quick, before they see us go in. I'm pretty sure they can break and enter to catch us."
He then saw an apartment. He guessed it was where Kayar lives. Whatever the case, they had to get inside fast.
DANTE'S VIEWPOINT
That was probably the noblest, bravest, and dumbest decision Dante had ever made in his life. His former mortal-enemy was retreating thanks to his actions, but Dante was sure that even HE was going to be in considerable pain after they were through with him. He didn't care. Dante had chased Zeke down, broken 3 of Zeke's ribs, and an arm, and tricked him into pulverizing an army of Dante's goons because he thought Sara was kidnapped. This was the least he could do.
But that didn't mean he was going without a fight, and a damn brutal one at that.
"awww...." Said Dante, teasing. "You got mad that we hurt you, so you went and called three of your friends to beat up two TEENAGERS. That's competence if i've ever seen it."
He knew he was asking for it now, and he was sure that the stranger who also chose to stay behind didn't appreciate the provocation. But he loved to do it. He had to have the last laugh, even as a bloody pulp.

Kayar ran as fast as he could. He sprinted like the devil were after him through the narrow alleyway. As they rounded a corner, he took another turn to the right through yet another alley. All to throw them off...
He reached the south wall of the apartment and stopped, standing back to the wall. He glanced around it. The group of Watchers wandered down the sidewalk. One gave a signal, and they split up in two seperate groups. One started around the east wall. The other headed west, towards the alley they had come from. They would get around to the south wall in less than a few minutes.
This suited Kayar fine, they could run around in circles and would have better luck finding them where he was going. He grabbed the rail of the above fire escape and swung himself up. The nearby traffic hid the sound of his feet on the metal.
"Come on up. The higher we get, the less likely it is they'll see us up here, so hurry."

Zeke agreed, but not before breaking down the door to a worn-down building that was clearly not in use. He didn't go in, however. He simply went back to the fire escape. Unlike Kayar, however, his arms wouldn't be strong enough to hoist himself up. This wasn't a problem, however, as Zeke could jump high enough to get his feet on the ladder. He followed Kayar up. They got up to the roof of the building, and listened in to try and hear what the Watchers were saying. They couldn't look down, because they'd be seen, but they had to know if they were being followed.
"Did you locate them?"
"No, we split up to try to corner them here, but then they were gone."
"Which means they had to have gone somewhere from here, and not very long ago..."
"AHA!" Said one.
"what?"
"they must have gone in here! The door's been kicked off of its rusty hinges, recently by the looks of it. They can't have gone far. Search the entire building!"
Zeke grinned at himself. But then he got serious. He turned to Kayar. "Hurry. This is our chance to get out of here. I see a fire escape on the other side. We'll take that down while they're looking for us in there."
((OOC: The door I broke down was not the apartment. It was an abandoned building in the same alleyway.))

Kayar watched the Watcher's below. Idiots... was it really that easy?
"Hurry. This is our chance to get out of here. I see a fire escape on the other side. We'll take that down while they're looking for us in there."
Kayar looked at him and shook his head. "No, we're exactly where we need to be. This is my apartment. If they decide to check the neighboring buildings, my guardian can cover for us." He walked across the roof over to the door only supposed to be used by the landlord. Except in emergencies. Well, couldn't this be called an emergency?
He tried the door. Locked. That wasn't helpful. They needed a window... The residential apartments were on the second floor. Being on the roof did not help much. Kayar thought using a fire escape might be too risky, especially if no windows were open. He'd used the window of his own room to get out before, but that room faced the building being searched. Not a good idea. The only other window...
"The skylight," he said, looking down at it. It led into his landlord's living room...

A skylight. It sounded like a horrible idea, but the look on Kayar's face told him that he had thought about every other option first.
This was a problem for several reasons.
1: The room it looked into did not look like it belonged to Kayar, or even anyone he knew. It was on the top floor, to top it off, so that generally means it was the landlord's.
2: Even if it DID belong to Kayar, it was on the ceiling of the room. Quite the drop down, and the floor below it didn't exactly look clear of objects. Either they would damage some things, or those things would damage them during the fall.
3: Skylights are skylights. Not Sky windows. They're not meant to open. Which could only mean...
"No..." said Zeke. "You're not thinking of breaking the skylight to get in, are you?"

Kayar realized how foolish it was. Sure, his landlord wasn't in at the moment, but supposing there was a police investigation after the damage? If DNA was found they were lost. They could also be caught by someone inside the building. Kayar had a tendency not to think things through enough. Sometimes he thought them through too much. It was an interesting quirk in his character.
"We could wait up here. Chances are they won't bother to check this building, or at least won't check the roof..."
In any case, they were running out of time.

Zeke knew that wasn't going to work either. The Watchers weren't idiots, and they certainly weren't going to stop looking for us after they found out they weren't in that other building.
"Stay here a sec. I wanna try something."
Zeke knew that what he was about to do had no garuntee of working, and the other outcomes were dire. He also knew that, even though it wasn't saying much, it was the best option they had.
He walked over to the ledge opposite where they got onto the roof from, and looked down.
JACKPOT.
When they were running before, he noticed a laundry line hanging by one of the open windows.
The laundry line was still there, but the window was shut.
But there was another one that WAS open, and it looked like it led to a stairwell.
Zeke knew that what he was about to do was thuroughly and completely, and in all other possible ways absolutely stupid. But it was his only option.
He jumped off the roof, towards the Laundry line. It looked rather thick, but there was only one way to find out if it would support his weight.
He landed on it, but he immediately slid off, forward.
Without a moment to lose, he forced himself backward, and, miraculously, managed to hang his legs on the laundry line.
Zeke knew what he was going to do next. He would get up, climb through the open window, and open the door on the roof.
First he had to make sure Kayar knew what he was going to do.

Kayar blinked. What the hell? Zeke had just jumped off the roof. No, he hadn't JUST jumped off the roof, he'd jumped of the roof with absolutely no logical existing reason that Kayar could think of. Suicide... without reason. Random suicide. As much as he didn't really want to see the splattered, dead body on the street below, he forced himself to go over and look down.
At a clothes line. With Zeke clinging to it by his legs. That explained things. Kayar let out a breath. Seeing someone you'd just met a day or two before kill themselves for no reason will do that to a person. Now what was he up to?

Zeke saw Kayar looking over. Perfect.
"Hey Kayar," Said Zeke, making sure to only talk loud enough to be heard, and not so loud that the Watchers would hear. "I'm going in through that window," he said, pointing to the window. "and then I'll let you in through the roof."
Zeke got up on the clothesline, and jumped to the window. He barely managed to hoist himself up, despite his weak arms, and made his way though the building to the roof. The door was unlocked on the inside, so he opened the door.
"We're in. Sorry if I freaked you out."

Kayar nodded and headed down the stairs. From here he knew exactly where to go. A couple more flights down and they were at his and Harry's apartment, 2B. No need to knock, he just entered. It wouldn't have made a difference anyway...
Harry Smith was... well, he wasn't obese, and it wasn't altogether morbid, but he was certainly among the weight watcher's most wanted. He sat on the living room sofa in front of the tv, which showed an old rerun of Seinfeld. Not that the man in the sofa cared. He wasn't watching it. He was snoring louder than some old cars Kayar had heard. He made a motion to indicate silence, and contiued on to his own room, closing the door as they entered.
He turned to Zeke. "So, now what?"

"My guess is that we have to stay here for a good hour or so until the Watchers start looking elsewhere. We need to stay away from the windows though. Don't close them, that will be suspicious, just stay away from them." Said Zeke. "Thanks for your help back there. Odds are I would be in a serious mess if you didn't show up. So what did the watchers do to you?"

Kayar sighed. Now it was time to tell his story. He hated his story. Most stories had happy endings. This one had no ending, and left an unhappy cliffhanger. He'd just have to see what would come next. "I asked you earlier if you knew anything about the death of Bill Callahan. Bill Callahan was my father." He went on to explain about the letter he found, and how it had connected his father to a colleague in the government, a colleague Bill had suspected betrayed him. A colleague who did not want Bill to interfere with the Watchers. That was all he knew though. But if the Watchers had something to do with his father's death, he'd do anything to bring them down and figure out the truth.

((OOC: Sweet! You incorporated the title of the thread into your post!))
"Wow" Said Zeke, whose worst fears about that subject were confirmed. "I can't imagine your loss." He pulled up his sleeves, revealing his incredibly disfigured, feeble, weak arms. "But I can imagine your pain. I was eleven. My dad works at a science lab, and he managed to have the lab let my school have a field trip there. It was amazing... until I wandered off. I was running everywhere, hopelessly lost, until I wandered into a room. It was an experiment gone horribly wrong. The entire room was filled with a chemical gas. When I opened the door... The chemical reacted with the sudden increase in oxygen in the room... and exploded. I barely survived. I was in the hospital for months. Strangely, after those months, I seemed fine... until I hit puberty. My arms just stopped maturing in muscle mass. Not only that, but my LEGS seemed to be getting all of it. That WAS what was going on, as it turned out. Ever since, I've been picked on, beaten up, abandoned, yelled at, and heartbroken. Come to think of it, I only have one true friend. And then I realized that I couldn't just stand there. I realized that people were suffering too. And I didn't want anybody to be hurt, mugged, killed, nothing like that... as long as I was around to stop it. So I spent the next few years teaching myself how to fight. I specialized in kicks, getting around the disadvantage of my weak arms. And that's why I fight the watchers. They've done nothing to me, but they're no different than gang leaders, bullies, and the like. They're all just stupid people who think they can do whatever they want to keep us in line."
