Zeke walked out of the school gates. He began to think about everything that happened that day...
Right... Time to explain to Sara that I'm in a gang now...
When out of nowhere, the most unexpected person arrived.
"I see you made it out in one piece..." Said Dante.
Zeke was shocked. Dante didn't appear to be beaten, maimed, scarred for life, or dead, even after his encounter with the Watchers.
"DANTE!?" Said Zeke. "How come you're not hurt?!"
"I only fought him long enough for you to get out of the building. After that, I ran."
Zeke was unconvinced. "Give me a break. You mean to tell me that you said: 'heel bitch' to a Watcher, and escaped without a scratch?!"
Dante smiled. "Oh, yeah. I remember saying that. Well, when I surprise attacked him at the beginning, I hit some major weakpoints. He wasn't in a very good shape by that time..." he then mutterred: "andihadabouttwentyorsoofmypersonalgoonsattackhimtoo..."
Zeke got mad. "wait... you had goons in there the entire time?! You mean you planned on landing them on me if things went bad for you!?"
Dante tried to calm him down. "Hey, easy. I'm done with that stuff now. I actually came here to apologize."
Zeke didn't believe his ears. "you mean you're actually sorry about attacking me?"
"AND for beating up that kid a year ago. I'm sorry."
Zeke was in disbelief. "what changed you?"
"That fight with the watcher. I realized that it was like I was that kid a year ago. About to be punished for something unreasonable. And then when he said the same thing i said..."
"'you have no idea how the system works'?" guessed Zeke.
"Yeah. So I want to help you out in beating them."
It was then that Zeke noticed the two Watchers standing behind them.
"Looks like we've got company", he said.
One of the Watchers was the one from yesterday in the auditorium. The other one was new. The Watcher from yesterday looked severely bruised and beaten.
"They're the ones." Said the Watcher from yesterday.
"Very well. For leading an outrageously outnumbered assault on a Watcher," Said the second one, as Dante laughed weakly at what his goons had done to the first one, "Dante Onferni, you will recieve level THREE, punishment, and Zeke Arwen, for verbal assault and direct defiance of authority, you will recieve level TWO punishment."
Dante stepped forward. "now, now, let's not get hasty, i'm sure there's a perfectly good alternative to-GO FOR HIS RIBS!"
Zeke reacted first, sending a fierce kick to the second Watcher's fortunately pointed-out weakpoint. The Watcher held his ground, so the kick only sent him stumbling a little. "Very well. If this is how we're going to do this, so be it."

Bear walked up behind Zeke. He had been told that Zeke needed watching,so watch he would. "Zeke.Whats wrong."Asked Bear as he came up behind him. The big native American was just here to get in and get out.

Moderator's Note
Bear, I've noticed majority of your posts seem to be thrown together in a matter of seconds. Please try and put more effort, thought, and length into them. Not only will it reflect better upon you and your character, but others will be more inclined to want to RP with you.

ZEKE'S VIEWPOINT
As he stepped back after the kick, to avoid getting grabbed, he noticed a hulking figure behind him.
"Zeke, what's wrong?"
He had never seen the man before, let alone told him his name, so the fact that the hulking figure knew Zeke's name came as quite a surprise to him. But he didn't have time to ask who the stranger was, so he answered the stranger's question:
"Watchers. Apparently Dante and I landed ourselves some level 2 and 3 punishments."
Hopefully the stranger was here to help. Maybe sent by Revelation? Possibly. Maybe he's the one who was going to tell him where the meeting-place is. He couldn't ponder it for long, however, as the second Watcher came at him.
The Watchers' Viewpoint
Watcher #2 was astounded. Somehow the boy named Dante could tell where his weakpoints were. And the other boy, Zeke. He looked like nothing but skin and bones on his arms, but that kick packed a lot of power. And when another student appeared, he realized this was going to be tougher than he thought. Watcher #1 was not in the best condition of his life, having taken a serious beating from Dante's gang. And so, he extended his metal pole, and brandished it, ready to strike the delinquents.

Ooc: Yes, I know, you said "revelation," but we're pals, right? And looking around at the current threads going, none of them involved beating on watchers. This is also just what Kayar needs... So I hope you don't mind if I join in, Zeke.
Kayar had been running. He did that a lot. He had a lot on his mind, and when things got like that, you did something to clear the air. Unfortunately, instead of clearing his mind, the run actually made him think even more about the letter he'd found. He had read it last night, while Harry slept in front of the tv, and, while he'd hoped it would answer questions, all it did instead was bring more to the surface.
The few documents he'd found stated clearly that Bill Callahan had been excessively against introducing the Watchers into the school system, and Bill himself admitted that in his letter as well. He also said in the letter that he had been expecting... well, he had been expecting "company," that single word which the police report had included as well. What Bill Callahan had meant in the letter, however, was far different from what the police meant in the report. Mr. Callahan had known he was going to die that day. He had been planning on sending the letter shortly before, and hoped that Kayar would find it later. Which he did.
What brought up questions, however, was none of this. What brought up questions was the one thing in the letter which really meant anything to Kayar. In his letter, his father told him that he suspected one of his colleagues in the government of foul play. Did this mean that Mr. Callahan had been killed to silence him on the issue of the Watchers? Kayar didn't doubt it.
Just as he turned the corner of the building, he saw the fight breaking out. And he saw the cause. "Watchers..." He swore under his breath. What kind of school paid a mafia like this to keep its students in line? He sped up, beginning to sprint without thinking about what he was doing. He would approach the Watcher with the pole and use his momentum for extra strength, leaping in the air to nail the man in the back with both feet at the same time.

OOC: I don't mind at all. The only Revelation member free was Bear anyway, so I'm glad you want to join. With only Bear, it wasn't turning out to be much of a Revelation thread.
IC:
ZEKE'S VIEWPOINT:
Zeke heard somebody coming towards them from behind him, but he couldn't turn his back to the Watcher to find out who. He simply hoped it was a friend, not a foe. After narrowly avoiding the swing of Watcher #2's metal pole, Zeke had an opening to hit him. Remembering his weakpoint, Zeke went for Watcher #2's ribs again. The kick landed, but this time the watcher expected it, and grabbed Zeke's leg with the arm he wasn't holding the pole with.
DANTE'S VIEWPOINT:
Zeke was fighting Watcher #2, so Dante decided to take Watcher#1. Dante remembered Watcher #1's weakpoints from yesterday, and today they were sure to be sore. His guess proved to be correct, as a punch to the stomach had him howling in pain. Watcher #1 then took out his metal pole, and Dante was helpless to stop a crushing impact against his shoulder. What an ignorant fool. Did he actually think a single blow would stop him? Dante's immunity to pain allowed him to ignore the impact and punch Watcher #1 in the stomach. A popular trick of Dante's, this knocked the wind out of the Watcher.
OOC: Additional note: If you think it's a bit unfair that Dante's doing so well, the Watcher he is fighting was ganged up on by about a dozen teenagers the previous night, and isn't doing so well. He was only really there to point out the rulebreakers to the SECOND Watcher.

Ooc: Well, I was going to wait for Bear to post, but this will only take a second, call it uninspired, call it short, call it what you will, but I'm gonna post what happens when Kayar's kick connects. Thus, since it's only that one kick, it will be a rather short post.
Kayar's feet slammed into Watcher #2's back just as he grabbed Zeke's leg. Taken by surprise, the Watcher was thrown forward, his spine at the same time making an altogether unhealthy cracking noise. Kayar landed on his back. A bit hard, too. That wasn't going to feel good in the morning, but at the moment he didn't really notice. He would perform a quick recovering spin move in order to get to his feet, then nod to Zeke when he noticed who he'd just helped. Now he'd just how to see if the Watcher had recovered...
Ooc: I'm leaving you in control of the Watchers at the moment, just because since Bear hasn't posted I'm not going to have them do anything more and make this post any longer.

ZEKE'S VIEWPOINT
No sooner had Zeke been grabbed than he had been released, thanks to a kick Watcher #2 had recieved from behind by someone Zeke couldn't see at the moment. He was freed so quickly, in fact, that he was still in the air from his jump kick. Using his left foot, he jumped off Watcher #2's shoulder, and Hammer-Kicked him in the head while jumping off his shoulders. As he was in the air, he saw the person who had helped him, who turned out to be Kayar, on the ground, on his back. Luckily, Zeke managed to land just past him. The combined back and head kicks brought Watcher #2 to the ground, clearly not getting up.
Looking at Kayar, he extended his hand, and helped him up with great difficulty, due to his weak arms.
"Thanks for the help, Kayar," Said Zeke. "Now then... you wouldn't under ANY circumstanes happen to have a megaphone, would you?"
DANTE'S VIEWPOINT
Stunned by the stomach blow, Watcher #1 was unable to defend himself as Dante sent a powerful kick to his... family jewels... this, combined with yesterday's events, and Dante's natural on-the-verge-of-insanity aura about him, sent the watcher running away as soon as he recovered. Dante wondered how that guy even got the job in the first place.
(OOC: Once again, Watcher #1 was in REDICULOUSLY bad shape, beaten, severely injured, and traumatized, so that's why Dante beat him so easily.)

[( I'm asking Zeke, Kayar, and Bear to stop posting to this thread temporarily until either the Admin or another Moderator can come into the thread and cast their judgement.
I noticed this thread a day or so ago and blinked at the first OOC "reason" for Zeke's NPC beating a Watcher. With this second bit, and another member (who will remain anonymous) asking me to check it out (due to lack of online staff at the moment), I repeat: please refrain from making any more posts.
The reason I'm asking and telling is that your OOC "reasons" are sketchy enough, but three teenagers are not going to be able to take down two Watchers (especially when it's inevitable more will arrive). If you're resorting to these OOC tidbits to beat such NPCs, then I think it's time the Admin (or at least a Moderator/Assistant Admin) who understands just how powerful the Watchers are to step in.
Thank you for your cooperation and I cut myself off now to let the Staff step in. (PMs will be sent to the Admin at the very least, if not several other Staff members in case their attention isn't drawn here immediately.) )]

this is not an IC post, I saw yours.
I apologize for my post. I saw others defeat lone watchers, and I guess I was going too far. If you'd like me to start this thread over from a certain point, I will. I had planned on more members of revelation showing up, but only bear could. Looking back, I realize I didn't make the Watchers nearly strong enough. Sorry.

Looking back, I realize I didn't make the Watchers nearly strong enough. Sorry. Nobody has outright defeated a Watcher that I've seen (if the case is such I believe my attention is required). A few members have landed blows on them, but the circumstance always ends the same. Watchers were able to pummel GILSIN into the ground, Tiao Lei Shen, even Zeniro, perhaps the most bestial and psychotic person in the school. Even with weaknesses from previous fights, they're strong enough to hammer fighters without much effort. Don't control them lightly with the notion that you can just beat them. I've spoken with Kira, who has in turn explained that you meant nothing insulting in your efforts, so as long as you work this within the expected boundaries of the Watchers ability, I'm not going to close the thread.

((OOC: Alright, i'm continuing the thread from where we left off, with a few changes:
1: Watcher #1 was never there. (simply because 2 watchers would be suicide.)
2: Watcher #2 is down, but nowhere near defeated. He will get up in a moment, and THEN we'll be in trouble.
3: Bear, (unless he decides he wants to be in it again) was never there, as he only posted once, and didn't affect the battle.
If there is still a problem, be sure to let me know.))
Zeke looked at his and Kayar's handywork. That was too easy. He expected more of a challenge.
"Alright. Dante, can you drag him to the gates of the school for me?"
"Why don't you do it?" he asked.
"I would," Said Zeke, as he lifted up his sleeves, revealing his deformed, incredibly weak arms. "But in case you didn't know, that would be difficult for me."
Dante was shocked. He knew that Zeke relied on kicking, but didn't realize why.
"Wow. Muscle deficiency?"
Zeke shook his head. "Muscle imbalance. My legs got all of what my arms lost."
"Fine, i'll drag him."
As Dante grabbed the Watcher's arms, however, he was immediately grabbed, and thrown against a brick wall. The Watcher hadn't been beaten at all. He had been waiting for the right chance to do what he just did.
"Idiots." Said the Watcher. "You actually thought it was that easy to beat a Watcher? We're trained professionals. We are much stronger than you. We are much smarter than you. We are all around-" But he didn't finish, as he saw Dante charging at him, with the metal pole the Watcher had dropped after Zeke's last kick. Dante never managed to strike the Watcher, however, as he stopped Dante's swinging arm, grabbed the pole, and struck Dante on the head. Dante fell to the floor. While the Watcher's back was turned, Zeke ran and attempted another jump kick. Unfortunately, the Watcher grabbed Zeke's leg again. Zeke quickly managed to land a kick in the Watcher's face with his free leg, but he was still trapped.

As soon as Zeke's friend was grabbed, Kayar had a sinking feeling this wouldn't work out well. He was pissed at the Watchers and anyone connected to them, and that could fuel him, but that speed... how could he match that? Zeke was stuck, and Kayar had blanked out for a second. Now he recovered as quickly as possible. He would perform a swift kick at the man's gut, then spin and kick at the head. IF, that is, IF the first kick wasn't stopped...
Ooc: I'm still leaving the npc in your control, I'm not sure whether I might do something wrong if I started controlling it.

Zeke saw Kayar jump kick the Watcher, and knew that this was his chance. By this time, both of Zeke's legs were being held, which left the Watcher with no choice but to use his leg to kick Kayar away, effectively stopping Kayar. Fortunately, this left only one foot on the ground, allowing Zeke to use all his strength to thrust his legs forward. Even though they were held, the combined force of this and the force required to stop Kayar sent the Watcher toppling backward, allowing Zeke the chance to get away, and also giving him the opportunity to stomp on the Watcher's stomach. The Watcher wasn't down for long, though, and was quickly back up on his feet. He then charged towards Kayar, his metal pole ready to be swung.

Kayar would use a nice clean fakeout move. Dodging towards the Watcher's left, as if to duck around that way, then turning, quickly, to the right, staying low and sweeping his right leg out towards those of the Watcher's as he did so. It was kind of a foot clothesline. It could effectively get him away from the Watcher and momentarily trip him. But were Kayar's legs strong enough to do the job? The Watcher also might be able to simply step over his leg... We'll see...

Post by zeke on Sept 10, 2007 21:40:25 GMT 1
The Watcher saw through Kayar's tactic, and simply jumped over his tripping leg. Just as he was pulling the metal pole back to strike Kayar, however, Zeke came up from behind and Kicked it out of his hands. Unfortunately, the Watcher then grabbed Zeke, and threw him towards the far end of the sidewalk. However, he was caught before he hit the ground, by Dante. He had recovered from the Watcher's last strike on him moments before.
"Now... let's see what damage we can do..." Said Dante.
The two of them dashed back towards the Watcher. Zeke, being faster, was clearly going to get there first. He jump kicked him again. Obviously, this wouldn't work a third time on him. But that was fine.
He wasn't planning on it working.
Since the Watcher had to use both hands to stop Zeke, and Zeke was obstructing the Watcher's vision, he couldn't stop Dante from hitting him in the side, with the Watcher's metal pole.
If Kayar was paying attention, he had a huge opening to do some serious damage.

Kayar's View:
Kayar stumbled a little as his foot missed. He had expected that, but hopefully the irregularity of the move might throw the Watcher off balance anyway. Zeke came forward and disarmed the Watcher, but was thrown back... and caught. Now it was time to use some nice tactics, and Kayar immediately saw where Zeke was going with his kick. As Zeke's friend, who's name Kayar still did not know, came in with the pole, Kayar would come from behind and aim a kick at the man's back.
Watcher's View:
After grabbing the leg of the annoying, white-haired little brat, the man was in trouble. He felt his own weapon slam into him, then looked back to see the other kid coming at him from behind. Well, he'd been hit like this before, it wouldn't work a second time. And the reason: He had a new weapon. He swung his human club around and threw the boy at the oncoming student. Once that was out of the way he had the chance to deal with the one who'd stolen his baton...

ZEKE'S VIEWPOINT
As an unforseen consequence of his brilliant attack strategy, he was swung around and thrown towards Kayar. Fortunately, Zeke used the momentum of his legs to shift his course so he barely missed Kayar, and landed on his feet. Being lightweight, Zeke had to learn to do things like that in order to survive in a battle.
"Alright, Kayar... listen very carefully," Whispered Zeke. "When I say go, we are both going to charge him. You're going to aim for his crotch, I'm going for his head, and Dante will realize what we're doing and just strike him with the pole. If we all do it at once, there's no way he'd be able to block all three, so we'll land at least one good hit. Got it? Ready... GO!"

Kayar was, well, barely listening. But he got the gist of it. Now what move to try this time? Hm... go for the crotch? He was supposed to go for the crotch of this guy, who was facing away from him? Well, okay, this was going to be a wierd kick. He would come up to the man and kick... well, under. That was the only way to kick the crotch from behind, right? And that's what Zeke said. So, while trying not to kick the man's ass instead, Kayar would aim this kick down, and up, and around. Only the toe of his shoe would connect, but that should be enough for the spot he was aiming for... if you could call it aiming...

The Watcher Saw the triple charge, kicked Dante out of the way, and just had enough time to stomp on Kayar as he appeared to be trying to crotch kick him from behind.
BIG MISTAKE.
The Watcher was unable to block the THIRD attack, from above, as Zeke successfully Hammer-Kicked the Watcher on the head. With that amount of force, and his past movements, he went to the ground. Dante then dashed forward, and gave the Watcher a solid strike to the head with the metal pole.
(no more posts for now, I'm emailing the Admin about how much more the Watcher can take, or if all of this was accurate.)
