The plans were coming together slowly, Dirk was elusive at best and a chaotic mess at worst. Ein couldn't think like the man, he couldn't force his thought to predict the movements. He needed into Hircine to find him, but that was problematic as well.
The Faculty wouldn't welcome him. They saw what Ein had always wished them too. A man to be feared, one that had fought Watchers, Horsemen and worse. A simple call of trespassing and the Genaht leader would be towed away.
The same situation applied to the Principals. The tall man couldn't fathom what Victoria might do. Her moods were varied and hard for the lipless man to comprehend, she could welcome him or reject him on a whim
Shuya was worse. Ein knew of the man and didn't approve. More importantly he could only imagine that things between the two would end as they did with those similar to him. With the pair working to end the other's influence.
No, as Ein looked for information on Hircine's current condition he was finding it hard to find a way in and more importantly to Dirk without some sort of imprisonment to follow. This time not self imposed.
Time would be short in the place, time would have to be used effeciently. Ein would do something that would almost be considered counter-productive. He would garner attention.
Time was ticking down the moment the former Varronite entered the grounds during the busy break period. He needed to attempt to find anyone with such information, which in this case would more than likely be someone that would approach him.
Time would tell what the result would be as Ein looked about, moving past and through the various social cliques. Keen eyes scanning constantly, looking for someone that might meet his gaze.
If there was anyone left here that would.

~Look at what the cat dragged in~ Pine thought as he watched a tall man without lips moving through the crowd of students on the school grounds. Again it seemed that Victoria was not lying about Ein being around. Perhaps he was going to have to actually give her some trust and actually do the job she gave him. He would be sure to go see Valencia after he talked to his old leader. Ein the leader of Genaht.
Pine watched as he sat atop a bench eating an apple. He wondered what Ein was doing, what he was thinking. Ein understood how Pine thought pretty well which is why he was always able to easily task him properly. Pine however never had any idea what made Ein tick, he could never fully understand why Ein was the way he was. That is why Pine was never a great leader and only more of a follower. Still, he wondered what Ein was doing walking around like a lost little lamb looking for it's Shepperd. There was no doubt he was looking for something or someone. Perhaps it was time for Pine to say hello. He finished the last few bites of his Granny Smith apple, allowing the sour juice to stimulate his taste buds just the way he liked it.
Pine got off the bench and began to move through the crowd, never taking his eyes of Ein as not to lose him. Perhaps it was Pine that was the lost lamb and Ein the Shepperd. Nevertheless Pine moved so he would end up coming up slightly behind and to the left of Ein. From here he would speak in somewhat of a riddle and a question in one. "The eager mind jumps to conclusions, the cautious mind is always weary, the curious mind was always wandering, and the wise mind was always thinking, what does your mind do? Which one are you?"

Ein's eyes would fall upon the known man. It had been some time since he had seen Pine. Though it was perhaps for the best, things would have likely been rent into pieces with or without his presence. The Genaht leader would quickly fish into his pockets for a small notepad before quickly scribbling down three things.
He could speak still he knew, he had even gotten better at forming words in a coherent manner. But it was imperfected and more importantly Ein needed to be sure he was understood, especially in this case. He would finish in his angular and relatively illegible handwriting quickly and show it to Pine.
To the mind, unceasing thought. To myself, a constant fear. I look for Dirk.
The moment Pine would read it would give Ein the reaction he would need to know if the former member knew of Dirk. Such a thing wasn't excessively uncommon, Dirk and his splinter of Genaht were destructive to say the least, but they were clever as well and hid as well as any group their size could.
It showed that the scorched mind still had promise, though it was an unknown if it could be controlled.

Pine looked at Ein as he scribbled something on a piece of paper. Either Ein had taken a vow of silence or was unable to talk. Pine figured it was the latter of the two. Perhaps it hurt Ein to use his damaged mouth to talk now. Perhaps he just didn't feel like talking. He was always a bit of a strange fellow when it came to his dealing with other people. Then again, that's what made Ein, Ein.
Pine read the scribbles and took a few moments to decipher them. It seemed he was a terrible writer. He was thinking about something and looking for someone called Dirk. Now that was a name that was familiar now where did Pine hear it. He received a small twinge in his neck and rubbed the bruises. It was about that time he was hit by a realization like a tonne of bricks. The boy he fought mentioned Ein and his name started with a D.
"If you speak of a man covered in burns we have already met. As a matter of fact he mentioned you rather fondly. His mind was seemingly warped, probably from his burns. Anyways, he gave me these bruises trying to pull a you and I put him down hard. He knew exactly who I was and still thought it wise to fight me. Considering the state I left his face he won't be fighting anyone anytime soon. Come to think of it, he'll probably have trouble seeing people until the swelling goes down. As arrogant as that may sound, he knew better and chose to fight. He needed to learn that sometimes the best option is to listen to reason and talk it out."

Ein would frown slightly listening to the words. Both for the fight and for Pine's misinformed view. Dirk's burns were both cause and consequence of his mindset, not one or the other. Still, it was good that Pine noticed it at all and more importantly if he had already defeated the man, he might be able to help wrest the splinter group of Genaht back to some level of sanity.
Better to fall to a known adversary than an unknown one. He is more resilient than you give credit for. He needs to be found again and bent back into proper shape.
Ein would finish writing his small sentence as quickly as he could. His eyes lifting and scanning about, he had little doubt that one of the splintered Genaht were watching. He was just hoping he could identify the man. A frown would underly the annoyance of the Genaht leader.
He needed to find Dirk quickly and either bend him or beat him until an agreement might be made.

"Bend him back into shape?" Pine asked puzzled at what he meant by that.
Was Ein trying to imply that Dirk was a member of Genaht? Pine just assumed they were allies of some sort who fought against the watchers here. It seemed like Dirk might actually be a member. Pine could not understand why someone so damaged would be allowed to enter the gang. What the hell was Ein thinking? Then again Pine supposed the correct question would by why wasn't he thinking about the consequences of his actions.
Perhaps he was a member before whatever happened to him. Pine had to keep that thought in mind so not to feel the need to punch Ein. That had to be it, he had to have come along before hand. There was no other explanation that Pine could think of.
"Jesus Ein, please don't tell me that damaged and dangerous individual is actually one of us. Don't you think that a rather dangerous gamble to take. He seems unable to follow a logical thought process that doesn't involve him being in excruciating pain."

Ein would grumble some then, Pine was leaping to conclusions that, while not entirely inaccurate, had the wrong motive and circumstance tied to them. Things did not go as he had wished, but at the same time, Dirk was better than some that could have gotten their hands on the wayward Genaht.
I left, graduated. I didn't continue to lead and dissolved Genaht. Dirkw was one that picked up the pieces. Bad outcome, but not my choosing.
Besides, Vince had picked up the other half of the group. The loyalists and those he had trained most. He head Alkaiser tried to keep them from following either but was for the most part ignored. He was too much of an outsider and those that were drawn to following would always follow. Such was their mind.
Ein would move up abit in the page of his writings and circle in a thick line something he had already written. The end of the first line of writing would be highlighted, a repeated request on Ein's part.
I look for Dirk.[/u]

Now Pine somewhat understood what had happened. Without Ein or any of the higher up Genaht members to lead the group it fell to those that thought they could. This is how the power had come to pass. Victoria had told him that Ein was still around but in truth he had graduated. She had given him false hope. Pine did not like the feeling it left behind. Disappointment was not a wonderful thing to feel.
~I'll deal with you later Boss Lady~ He thought to himself as he watched Ein circle a word on the paper. Not a word but a sentence. I look for Dirk.
Perhaps Ein had plans for Dirk and his splintered group. Perhaps he was here to take over from the outside and leave people like Dirk to deal with the inner workings. The problem with all the theorizing was that Ein's mind did not work on the same level Pine's or most other people. He could not even fathom what a man who had religiously sewn his lips together thought. The idea sent a chill down his back.
"You look for someone that doesn't want to be found. A splinter hiding under your skin so to speak. You know it is there and though you can see it but you have no idea how deep it has gone. Instead of looking for Dirk do you not think it wise to come up with a way to make Dirk come to you? It takes chaos to lure out a chaotic mind. The first time he came to me was during a fight and I am sure violence would draw him now. So why the secretive method to your motive?"

The realization swept across Pine's face and for that Ein was grateful. Atleast he understood now, he could fathom why Ein was here. He could see the other man beginning to grasp the plan now, if he didn't quite know the why of it. Ein would outline that shortly as he debated how he wished to communicate from here.
How he wished he had a computer to type with, both for speed and for legibility. He could type at a decent pace, but he'd have to deal with writing for the moment, as he didn't dare to speak yet. He still feared the sound of his own haggard voice.
Tyler is moved, forces poising the two schools to destroy each other. Meaningless and pointless fight. Vince can try to hold Paragon with some help, Dirk should hold Hircine. His mischief tolerable if pointed n the correct direction. Beat back both sides, stop the war.
Obviously the other part would be to find and eliminate the cause, but they had to staunch the flow of blood before they could close the wound. Time was short and Ein's patience for finding Dirk was already thin. Ein would begin writing again.
Dirk is control, gather afew men. Claim title of Genaht. Threaten his control. That will bring him out.

Pine looked at Ein with a skeptical look. So there were members of Genaht at Paragon as well. That did not surprise Pine considering most of the Varronites were sent to Paragon during the purge. It seemed Ein even had a captain in Paragon that was ready to take up the challenge of fighting there. What bothered Pine the most was that if what Ein said was true Dirk would be in charge of operations here. Pine did not want that as he did not know what Dirk would do with that type of control. The crazed look he saw in that man's eyes did not serve any greater good than destruction and Pine was not sure he wanted to be part of that. He was a warrior and craved violence like the others but he had some restraint.
Dirk, in Pine's opinion, would work better as a weapon to be unleashed and not the leader. His love of pain and fighting made him the perfect weapon. In Pine's experience the perfect weapons made bad leaders and vice versa. Genaht was about logical thought and reason. Sure they fought for what they believed but only if it was called for. Dirk entered a fight simply to cause pain for no other reason. Even if his objective was to test Pine, IF it was to test Pine he knew fighting again was not much of an option.
On top of that why did it have to be Pine that would be doing this and not Ein or Alkaiser. Pine would gladly follow either of those men into combat to the end but Dirk he would not. Even Ein seemed to dislike the idea of giving him power as he knew what it could lead to.
"I only have three more questions. Why Dirk? Why must I be the one to challenge him? and what is to stop me from just keeping the title after I claim it?"

Ein would think about Pine's words for a moment. He saw the value in all of them, but knew that it would be difficult for the man. Perhaps if he disassembled Dirk's Genaht completely? It would be a hard fight, but viable and certainly better than simply looming the threat over Dirk for a long period of time.
The man was smart and would burn away anything that might bind him in time.
Ein would begin writing again, abit slower this time, taking more time and care with his writing. It was enough to show his agitation had passed and Pine was hitting home with the former and perhaps current leader.
The misfits that follow Dirk would be hard pressed to truly follow anyone structured. But the decision is yours, if you decline I shall have to do what I can. If you accept and decide to keep the title that is more than appreciated, but it is a harder fight and time is finite.
Ein would hand over the piece of paper this time and wait for the message to be read. There was no one else that would be able to do what had to be done as effectively as Pine. Ein's presence would be too limited, but if it had to be done, he would find it done.

Pine could not see any change in Ein's face. He had no idea how his words had affected Ein. For all Pine knew Ein was getting ready to strangle the life out of him for his comment.
Instead Ein wrote something more slowly on the pad of paper as if he were taking care with his words. Pine had to assume that Ein was taking great care to control himself and would have to wait to see what was written. After Ein turned the pad so Pine could read it a small smile came across his face. It seemed this was going to be easier than Pine thought it would be.
"You might be right about Dirk's men. They may never follow me to any degree and if they did I would be surprised. Dirk gives them exactly what they want where I would not. Which is why I could never truly be the leader. What I could be is what I was back at Varron, more like your Sergent-at-arms. If you were to retake the title of leader, back and make me your commander here, I would bet many would return to you without a fight. The few that were left would be easily silenced and forced back into the ranks by the others. With them gone Dirk would have to either submit or not return. Of course you could also sweeten the pot for him by presenting an incentive to return."

Ein frowned slightly, he didn't like the mantle of leadership. It fit oddly upon his shoulders and more importantly always felt much too large for him. He felt a child putting on his father's clothes so he might feel more responsible and could only look out of place in them.
Here it was again though, a man asking him to take up the figurehead and leadership position. He supposed it was inevitable, and more importantly required at this point. There was nothing left to do but nod.
It can and will be done then. I shall have to find a broader method of communication then, however. it does no good to show a little bit of paper to everyone I need to

"Your absolutely right Ein a little piece of paper will do nothing."
Pine pulled the arm band worn by the gang out of his pocket and swung it around his left index finger.
"This however does do something. Let's say I was able to get into everyone's locker that is tied with us and put one in there. Perhaps with a little bit of string wrapped around it to signify you. Assuming you can give me names of course." Pine said with a small smile, his usual cocky demeanor ever present.
In truth Pine was not as cocky as he appeared to be. His demeanor was one of confidence not cockiness. He understood his limits and was able to use them to exploit those others tried to hide. His confidence made him dangerous to play games with. Speaking of games, Pine had one to play a little later today.
"It has come to my attention that there is some sort of information network within the school. It covers both Paragon and Hircine. If I were able to get into it I could probably find useful information we could use to exploit the schools to make our entrance easier. Victoria has given me much information I could use to trade. I'm heading to the library after school as rumor is that is where everything goes down. With your permission of course."

Ein would nod, the idea wasn't a bad one and was expanding as other's came into being in his mind. Things were moving forward at last and all that was required now was to push afew of the idea's into action.
Ein would nod to Pine, writing down afew things quickly. The first would be simple, Do as you wish, Pine. The second would be the phone number he could be contacted at.
The meeting was closing and in Ein's mind, not too quickly. He could see the faces of some of the campus security beginning to watch him. Trying to identify if he was a known threat. Another nod and Ein would begin moving to exit the school.
He'd be back, but for now his time was at an end.

So this was it. Pine was finally in charge of events that were to take place at Hircine. Sure it had been a rather short road compared to the one at Varron but still a journey was a journey. He was happy it was finally at an end. Now for the real challenge to begin, the one that would test Pine to his limits and either make him or destroy him.
Ein had given him the go ahead to do as he pleased and Pine planned to exploit that to the limits. They say fate favored those who tried. It was time to see if fate would favor the young red head. There was much to do and little time to do it. He took the paper from Ein and watched him leave. It was time to get the ball rolling and he would start with whatever Vic was interested in regarding the library. If it proved ungainly he would go to Vic and let her know what was going on and if not...Well he would cross that bridge when the time came.
"I'll see you around boss and don't worry. I'll take care of everything." The words would not reach Ein who had already departed. He just felt the need to say something.
