"You see, Mae-Lim, the first step is recognition. It's also the most important one."
The two Horsemen walked along the courtyard, heading in the general direction of the football field. As he spoke, Seth draped his arm over Mae-Lim's shoulders, once more testing her reaction while letting her absorb his words. It had been a perfect day to start preparing his Horsemen for what was to come, helping them overcome their faults in order to be more effective at their jobs, and Mae-Lim was first on the list, a fitting position since she'd been recruited first. Her particular hang up was the fact that she was anti-social, almost to an extreme, and made no real effort to hide it.
"Everyone has a void in their life. The trick is, you have to find a way to fill it. Take their difficulties onto yourself. It may sound self-sacrificing, but really, you're gaining the wisdom and experience that they could have had, making yourself stronger in the process."
The two had arrived at the football field, which had a few students here and there. The everpresent cigarette in Seth's mouth rolled from the middle to the left side, allowing him to blow a small smoke cloud into the air as his gaze roamed among those gathered. Somewhere, here, was a person to give Mae-Lim the example she needed, as well as give Revelation another boost in membership. All it took now was to find them.

Ahhh, football season! And of course, football also meant that the cheerleaders would have to start practicing as hard as the boys since they had their cheerleading compitition right after football season. This was the time when Aina would work her hardest to be the best and would even cheerlead instead of working on her homework, not that she cared much about grades to begin with....
The girls flipped, they jumped and they caught one another. That was what they usually did, afterwards putting it all together to make an awesome cheer that would awe the crowd/spectators. Aina, being the best in the team and the captain of the squad, was now being flipped up into the air and was soon caught by two of the members. Once down, the girls squelled at how well the flip was done; Aina smirking and feeling quite important at that moment(not that she never was of course)
"Yay! Aina!! Go Aina! You're the best!!!" the girls yelled. "A. Y. N. G!!!! YAAAAAY AINA!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!"
Aina for one was very please with herself, feeling very popular, which well....she was....
"Oh like thank you girls! You know I like totally love you all soooo much!" The busty blonde said.
"Awwwwwwww!!!" all the girls, including Aina, exclaimed as they all hugged eachother.
As the cheerleaders had their little moment, the football players players watched, looking at the girls confused. "That's not how you spell Aina...." one said as he looked at the others, some of them just shrugging and going back to whatever they were doing.
As the 'moment' ended, the Sweden girl looked to the side only to see a man smoking a cigarette and a girl that was been held around the shoulder. These two were either very good friends or a couple, but of course, to Aina, they MUST have been a couple. The girl advanced them, thinking that she should be a mature captain and welcome anyone from the school.
"Like hello! I'm like Aina! I'm totally the captain of the squad!" she firstly said. "So, who are like you two? You totally look like a good couple by the way!" she winked.
The two both looked dark and possibly even mean, but even then, Aina hoped that they would not push her away like some people from the dark cliques would do to 'preps'.

Mae-Lim walked alongside Seth, listening silently to the words he spoke, breathing in and out slowly to keep herself calm as she 'tolerated' his arm being around her. She wasn't sure if it was some sort of game to Seth and Conner to mess with her in such ways, however the girl was determined not to fall into whatever 'trap' they set. Of course, this was how she saw it. The two other males probably had other reasons to purposely annoy her in ways they knew would work.
Arriving at the football field, Mae-Lim could only DREAD who she'd need to try and recruit today, or watch Seth recruit, either way. With Seth there things would surely move more smoothely, however, it still didn't mean Mae knew how to do whatever Seth was talking to her about. Take in other people's difficulties and what-not. 'I've got enough with my own problems. Why should I care for that of others?'
Her eyes settled upon a bunch of cheer-leaders, feeling an immediate twitch of her eye as she watched them bounce around and squeal and talk with their high-pitched sugar-coated voices. As a matter of fact it was repulsive to the dark-haired asian and part of her wanted to bitch-slap every one of those preps. Not to mention when Mae-Lim listened to their 'Leader' as she butchered every phrase by adding unecessary "likes", all she wanted to do was turn around and leave. Of course, that wasn't part of the plan and so she'd just need to bare with it all.
"Seth..." she muttered irritably, not even looking towards him. "Don't tell me....HER. I mean her dumb-ass zombies can't even spell."
With his arm around her, Seth would undoubtably feel the tension in her shoulders which indicated just how uncomfortable she felt right now. What made things worst was that their pidgeon was making her way there just then. Mae-Lim almost felt like telling Seth to hold her back or she'd do something horrid however she was sure she could keep herself under control. Well...mostly.
"Hey...Aina." Mae-Lim replied bitterly, glaring at the blonde almost uncontrollably. "I'm Mae-Lim. And..." Mae-Lim proceeded to harshly remove Seth's arm from around her before continuing. "We aren't a couple." Mae wasn't too sure what she was supposed to do now. Of course today was a day for learning so she was sure Seth would give her a push in the right direction in some way. Mae-Lim just had to work of calming down for now, which she was doing. Slowly.

"Relax. Just play along."
Seth's fingers softly massaged Mae-Lim's shoulder, reassuring her despite the fact she didn't usually appreciate such actions. The head cheerleader made her way over, and the moment she came to a respectable distance, Seth gave his most inviting and friendly smile, even going so far as laughing as Mae-Lim rather forcefully removed his arm from around her.
"She's right, we aren't dating. Yet."
The wink that followed made it obvious Seth was joking around, though knowing Mae-Lim, she'd take offense to it nonetheless. Of course, it was all part of her education, learning to make jokes in order to lighten the mood. Of course, it was all up to Mae-Lim to learn and understand these lessons on her own, while Seth would simply create the opportunities.
"I'm Seth. It's nice to meet you, Aina. Though, as a beautiful cheerleader, I'm sure you hear that from every boy in this school."
With another puff, Seth held out his hand to the blonde, to give a brief shake, and would give Mae-Lim a pointed look in order to hint that she should do the same. It seemed, however, that Seth would need to steer the conversation in the right direction, as it was doubtful his comrade would manage to do so.
"So Aina, tell me, how's Hircine treating you so far? Is it everything you hoped for?"

Wow. She was lucky, that was for sure. The girl, who introduced herself as Mae-Lim, was for sure, not very happy to see her; but the male, had warmly smiled at the blonde Swedish girl. So, all was going fairly smoothly for now, though, Aina felt greatly intimidated by the glare from Mae. But she simply sweat dropped it away and sighed softly, still smilling, though much more nervously.
"Ah, I see now. Well you two have like totally tricked me then." she giggled softly. "Hey, Mae-Lim, Seth."
Seth was very charming, making Aina blush slightly. Of course, the cheer-leader was often told of her beauty and how people were so glad to have her in their life, but most didn't have the charm to go with it. "Thank you" she said as she giggled softly.
And there was a question that she wasn't sure how to answer. Hircine had been where she was most happy, though only when she was with her friends and cheer-leading. Other then that, it was hell and she hated it so much. Though that was only because she was terrible at school work and never had a mark over sixty on her tests and quizzes.
"Uhh...well....I can't like say I hate it entirely since I totally love to be around my girls and stuff and school is where we hang the most. But....I like really do hate my classes! The teachers are totally doing it on purpose to fail 'lil young pretty me." Aina explained. "But yeah, it's like totally NOT what I had expected! I assumed that I would like do fine in classes."

Mae-Lim paid close attention to how Seth had adressed the girl. She was beginning to pin-point a few tricks. 'So. Tell them what they wanna hear, flatter them?' she thought. 'Okay, now I have to understand who this sort of thing works on as I'm sure not everyone is impressed by simple words.'
She watched as Aina and Seth shook hands, Mae-Lim giving an internal sigh as he silently gave her to message to do so as well with only his eyes. Mae-Lim swallowed inaudibly before raising her hand to shake with Aina, giving it one good shake before releasing and retrieving her hand. She tried to not make it apparent that she was trying to retrieve her hand in such a hurry, and most likely would succeed in doing so considering the girl didn't appear to be one to notice such things.
After Seth's question, the blonde began to complain about her teacher's. Mae-Lim stopped herself from rolling her eyes. "Well, maybe there's a reaso-" she began to speak, took a look at Seth then grumbled internally before finishing the phrase in her mind 'reason for that.' Instead, Mae-Lim began to think of a way to get on the blonde's 'Good-side' you could say. She cursed herself for what she was about to do, but, hopefully it would of been enough. "I know, huh?" Mae-Lim said, surprisingly with actual emotion. She WAS a bit of an actress, strange as it may seem. "It's, like, totally unfair." she gave a few nods, placed her hands on her hips and lightened her glare. "Don't you wish you could, like, change it all?" She smiled somewhat, the venom behind it perfectly hidden. She was sure this was a good start, she just needed to keep it up. The only thing she wasn't sure of was if she was stirring this in the direction it was supposed to go. Oh well, so long as the girl was to be recruited, right?

Seth's smile never faltered, even when Mae-Lim almost slipped up and voiced her displeasure with the blonde cheerleader. A small cough simply cut her off, perfectly understandable considering the sheer number of cigarettes the dark haired sophomore smoked a day. However, it seemed that Mae-Lim was beginning to understand, and as she began to steer the conversation in the right direction, Seth found himself smiling ever-so-slightly wider.
Looks like this'll be easier than I thought.
If all his Horsemen learned this quickly, there would be nothing to worry about. The more skilled the top members were, the less forces would need to be brought to bear, which meant things could move ahead of schedule. This realization only lasted a few moments, as the tone of Mae-Lim's voice quickly brought Seth's attention back to the here and now, the sophomore finding himself pleasantly surprised at the girl's acting skills. He hadn't thought she had it in her, and yet, she had surprised him at every turn. As always, his first instinct had been correct. His right hand lifted, pulling the cigarette out of his mouth and flicking the ashes to the ground before replacing it.
"You'd think they would cut you a break, hm? After all, I doubt the cheerleaders in the NFL have to worry about essays, or what 'x' equals."
At this point, Seth was allowing Mae-Lim to guide the conversation, simply adding in small tidbits to supplement her efforts and make things simpler. After all, this was for Mae-Lim's benefit, and she would learn nothing if he simply did it for her.

(Well since I'm home and all, I might as well post now that I have the time. ^ ^;; AHHHH my post is ugly and small D=)
Mae's attitude towards Aina seemed to have changed dramatically. Usually any normal person would realize that maybe Mae Lim was either making fun of her or up to something, but with Aina's mind capacity; well, she assumed that Mae Lim was starting to get fond of her and was trying to fit in. So she felt quite proud and happy with herself.
"Oh I know! And after all those boring lectures and notes from school, they expect me to do homework?! Like, using a pencil so long will totally ruin my manicure!" she exclaimed. Wow, she was fitting so well with these simple peasants. "Oh! I would like LOVE to change it! If I could, I'd totally do it."
Then Seth was speaking, Aina paying attention to him now. "Well it like doesn't make any sense to me. All cheerleaders really need is to know is how to flip and well like cheer, so why do I like seriously need school? Cheerleaders like don't need edu....ca..shium? Oh right, eduCAtion, so why would I totally need it?" she ranted, moving her hips around as she spoke, one hand to her hip and the other moving around as she spoke.
"But well, like you know.....I dunno if anything CAN be done. So if not, I guess I'll just live my life the way it is."

(No problem. I'm just going straight to the point, myself. Sort of XD)
Mae-Lim closed and rested her eyes gently, a procedure to more effectively calm herself as she listened to the annoying chatter of the blonde. To anyone, it would perhaps only look as though Mae-Lim was tired and resting a bit, however, that was completely wrong. Still, it was best if it looked like that. Wouldn't wanna ruin all this when things were going relatively well.
Mae-Lim's eyes re-opened half-way when she assumed the talking was over. Unfortunately she had listened to the whole complaint seeing as she'd need to build up the conversation from there. "Well Aina, I'm gonna like, let you in on a little secret!" Mae-Lim began, pausing a tiny bit to see if the blonde's interest would be caught. Haha, that was silly of course it would be caught. "Me and Seth here, we like, are so totally gonna do something about it." she continued, curling her lips into an almost pleasant smile. "And like, other people too and stuff. If you wanna like, totally help us, we could SO help you make your teachers buzz off! A girl like YOU should like, be able to do whatever she wants."
Mae felt disgusted at how she was lying in such a way. In fact, flattering the blonde sickened her even more. Still, polishing her ego was the best way to gain her trust and so far it was doing a world of good. Mae-Lim was tired of beating around the bush and she had gotten straight to her point...sort of. Only, one last thing was playing in her mind and if Mae knew Aina's kind, it would surely help sway her descision. 'And if she doesn't join after all that, I'm kicking the blonde's ass.' she thought. No way she'd let this all be in vain.
"Oh and, like, there's like a lot of cute boys with us too." There, she said it. While Mae couldn't deny SOME were perhaps handsome, she could care less about the detail. Fortunately, other girls grooved on being in the company of 'cute boys' and she was sure Aina wouldn't be too pleased if she was constantly surrounded by the uglier thugs that hung about. 'Note to self. Make that happen.' Mae thoughts devilishly. All she needed was a 'Yes' and she would be freed from this act, free to resume her usual personality.

(It'll be Seth's turn after my post ) "A secret?! Like yay! Tell me tell me tell me!!!!" she squeaked as the busty blonde slightly bounced up and down. Secrets and rumours were something that Aina simply loved. Come on, one of the girl's hobbies is gossiping so it's more then enough reasons for her to be excited by a simple little secret. "Ooooooooo like you are?" she asked, not letting Mae-Lim finish her speech. "Like oh my god! I will SO join! Like, totally sign me up!" she exclaimed cheerfully at the thought of being able to do whatever she wanted. Plus, without the teachers around, Aina would have a better time and never worry about school. She didn't like school and she would skip if she wanted to, but if she did, her allowance would be cut. So if the school just so happened to be 'destroyed' or whatever, then she could keep her credit card and she wouldn't be at fault. Of course, there was many flaws to her simple idea, but she wasn't one to worry or even think about that stuff. "OH. MY. GOD! Like oh my god! There is?!" she exclaimed again. Well now she was attracted to the idea for sure. Sure, Aina was not easy to get with, but she still loved to be admired by guys, especially the cute and sexy ones. So joining was not an option for her, it was a MUST. "So, when are we gonna like, start the plan or whatever?" she asked.. She was curious, very curious so she hoped to learn a bit more. Yes, Aina is learning impaired, but she still had a curious side that wanted to know things sometimes, it just doesn't show up often.

The sudden excitement coming from the blonde caused Seth's eyes to widen in surprise, the Sophomore caught off guard from the change in demeanour. Mae-Lim was certainly learning quickly, to the point where Seth could tell there was little left he needed to go over with her any longer, as she would most certainly be able to do her recruiting effectively on her own. Yet, Seth wouldn't actually tell her this quite yet, instead he planned on continuing her "education" for a few more events, an easy excuse to find out more about the Horseman of Death.
"Cute boys abound, or so I've heard."
Seth's smile never left his face, though really, he was just making things up as he went along. As a typical male, he had a hard time distinguishing whether another male was attractive or not, though he could imagine that most of Revelation wasn't outright horrible looking. It seemed this recruitment was in the bag, but there was still more that would need to be brought into the fold if things were to move along smoothly. Provided Mae-Lim didn't cut him off, Seth would answer Aina's question first, since all in all, he was the only one who knew the plan in it's entirety, at the moment.
"The plan is already underway, though very slowly. The more members our group has, however, the better. Since you're so popular, anyone you can think of to bring in to our little group, the better. Boyfriends, friends, whatever, they are all welcome."
