It seemed like a pleasant day. Not as chilly as home but Victoria was getting used to the warmer weather. Holding a cup of hot tea she walked into the entrance of the school. She kept her eyes on the front page of the newspaper as she walked through the hallways. Reading the everyday news that she hardly paid any heed to. It was a good month, nothing noteworthy about the school in the black ink. Except for the football scores of course.
Victoria took her eyes off of her newspaper as she was greeted by some of the students. She nodded in return, giving them a smile before turning into the office area.
“Good Morning, Anything I should be aware of?”
She looked at her secretary who bustled out of her seat. The older lady was very good at her job and Victoria was pleased with the outcome so far this year.
“You have a meeting with the few teachers about you know what in about 10 minutes in the teachers lounge. I have a few messages as well that can be returned at your convenience.”
She thanked her secretary as she handed her the newspaper and turned to make her way towards the teachers lounge.
Running her hand through her hair, she then straitened her shirt with a tug and swiped her hand over her slacks to make sure she was presentable as she opened the door. She looked around the room at the few selected teachers that volunteered to help.
“Sorry to have pulled you away from your classes but this would only take a few minutes.”
She paused as she put her cup of tea down.
“As you are all well aware it is very rare that we can pull together to make things a little more enjoyable for the kids. With the problem with religion conflicts and parents going astray with how things are supposed to be. It leaves the kids without anything to look forward to. Specially when Parents get offended about a silly holiday.”
She shook her head, leaning against a table that held a coffee pot and some breakfast donuts.
“I feel that it’s a shame to waste good, enjoyable holidays just because someone gets offended about Halloween. I love the holiday. It happens to be my favorite out of the whole year. So this year Im going to surprise the students with a party. Now we can’t call it Halloween. I’ll have parents writing and calling with complaints. Thou it would be nice if things could be so simple no a days. Now do you have any ideas on what to call it.?”
She looked around at the set of teachers that she had confided in with this project. They seemed to look at each other with the same expression. Halloween should be called Halloween not by any other name.
“What about The Harvest Festival?”
One Teacher threw out there. Victoria thought about it and could not think of anything else. Course it was probably used every year to please the religious crowd but it was something no one could argue over.
“Very well. The Harvest Festival it is then. Now about the finer details that need to be done.”

It seemed as if the 15 minutes had past in a flash as she thanked the teachers as they left the lounge. Reaching for her tea which now was a bit cold she look disappointed at it.
“Excuse me, Principle Alexander?”
She turned her attention to see the petite English teacher addressing her. She smiled in return.
“Yes Mrs. Marlin?”
Victoria liked the English Teacher. She reminded her a lot of an old teacher back in Varron that used to tutor her as she played catch up.
“It’s a shame about Kyukaku, but did you feel that it was necessary, he was such a good student and was doing so well in my class?”
Victoria made a questionable face unsure what the teacher was talking about. Necessary to do what? She had done nothing with him, nothing that would give her the impression that he was not supposed to be in her class.
“I’m sorry Mrs. Marlin I don’t know what your talking about?”
The teacher returned the questionable look.
“But didn’t you transfer him? He wasn’t in class yesterday and when I asked about him. I found that he had been transferred.”
Victoria’s eyes widened and when she spoke it was unnecessarily loud and it seemed to startle the teacher.
“What?!”
The teacher took a step back. She feared she had done something wrong as Victoria put her hands up to calm the teacher as well as herself. How could he be transferred she had done no such authorization. Surely they would need her permission before shipping the Captain of all people to another school.
“I’m sorry if I had shocked you with my response? I was not aware that he was transferred. Do you know where?”
Her voice sounded nervous. This is just not what she needed. The student in charge of protecting other students is not anywhere within the school. No doubt that would bring trouble with others trying to proclaim that title on their own. Things where going so well. She had plans for him, and this... this of all things happens. But then it dawned on her.
Victoria’s eyes narrowed as she looked at the door.
“Shuya” she said distastefully and more to herself as she tried to confine her anger without showing the teacher. Her polite words were forced as she tried to remain calm enough not to startle the teacher anymore than she had. No doubt the teachers would be talking about this over the lunch break.
“Thank you Mrs. Marlin for bringing this to my attention. By the end of today I have no doubt that Kyukaku will be right back where he belongs in the school and in your classroom. Now if you will excuse me I have something I must take care of.”
She had all forgot about her tea as she made her way towards the office. Victoria straitened up and looked at both secretaries with her hand on the door knob. She looked at both of them with her eyes narrowed and her jaw tightened in disappointment.
“Whatever you hear within the confines of this office will be ignored. I will be dealing with the both of you when I am done.”
Opening the door she went in.
*Slam*
The sound of the door slamming behind her made the frames shake for a second on the walls. Victoria was in no doubt furious with what she has heard. Her eyes flashed with anger as she looked towards her cohort’s desk. He sat there as if nothing was wrong. As if he did not know the reason for her anger. Mr. Innocent Shuya Katsumoto.
She went to her desk hitting the button on her intercom.
“Bring me Student File, Tyler D. Scott, Now!”
She then with both fists tightly clenched looked at Shuya. She could feel her nails digging into her skin.
“So when were you planning on telling me that you transferred ‘OUR’ student to Paragon. Not your student, OUR student without my authorization.”
She heard the door knob click open and Shuya’s slut of a secretary walk in. She started to go to Shuya’s desk but Victoria stepped from behind her desk and snatched the file folder from her hands. She then pointed briskly to the door.
“Out Now!”
Opening the folder as she moved to her desk, Victoria flipped through the pages. Suddenly she dropped the folder only holding a singular paper in her hands. She looked at it astonished as she looked at her own signature on the bottom of the page. She would have never signed this paper. She always read over any documentation carefully.
“How dare you! How dare you forge my signature on this filth. This lie! But that is what you do. You sneak around and do as you please thinking you wont be caught. You have been caught Shuya Katsumoto! You have been caught with red on your hands and I won’t stand for this lie! How could you think you would get away with this tell me!”
She demanded!
Victoria took her eyes off of her newspaper as she was greeted by some of the students. She nodded in return, giving them a smile before turning into the office area.
